“Hi! The name's Hinata!” she said.

“Hey, I'm Sasuke.”

“. . . Uchiha?” she said with a bit of excitement.

“Yea, do I know you?”

“You don't now, but you soon will” she sounded so humble. Sasuke was suddenly dazed from her smile to her gorgeous white eyes. He saw her lips moving and couldn't hear a word that came out of them, all he could think is how attractive she was at that moment.

“Are you!” she said loudly.

“Huh? What?”

“Are you two related?” she queried.

“Who?”

`Not again' she thought. “Are you and Itachi related?”

“Oh. That. Yeah.”

“Wow” she said. “So you are new.”

“Yeah”

“You need help getting around?”

“Yeah. So what is this class for? The one we're taking now?”

“Oh, here. I think they're going to teach us about strategies and then the next class is. . . .”

“Hinata!”

Hinata looked around to see who was calling out her name “Hey! Hinata!” She heard it again and again until she spotted a person.

Sasuke looked to the direction Hinata was waving at but couldn't see because of the crowded hallways now. Then he saw a pinkish haired girl who looked about a year older than Hinata. The girl's eyes opened wide and slowed down her pace as she approached them, glaring at Sasuke.

`Too much attention' he thought. `Though I should be used to this'. He gave a sigh and shook his head at this.

“Hi Tayuya! How was your summer?” said Hinata all bubbly.

“It was really good! I spent it with my family traveling”

Hinata noticed that the whole time that she was talking her friend had not remove her eyes away from Sasuke.

“Oh. Sorry. This is my friend Sasuke. He's new” She said.

“Glad to meet you” said Tayuya. Sasuke just responded with a seductive smile, which he didn't realize he was giving and it left Tayuya stunned.

All of a sudden a teacher appeared and greeted them with a “Yo” and a simple smile, but it was hard to tell from far away because of the mask covering half of his face. He looked around to look at the other students as well. “I will call your names, so pay attention so we can get through with this quick, and for those who don't belong in this classroom go to where you're suppose to be, your teacher-” he looked at a watch, “- is already there and you're late” some students started to leave as the teacher pulled out a list. As he read the names, the hallway was very quiet and soon enough he was finished. “I'm Kakashi and I will be teaching you the first half of the day” some students complained and some were just confused because of his unspecific sentence about the class. “You will then be allowed to go out of school grounds for a certain amount of time for lunch. The second half of the day I will not be your teacher and you will not be with the same classmates, so don't get too attached. Now please follow me”. The students walked through hallways and passed by classrooms. Sasuke tried to look and see if he could spot Naruto in one of them as he was passing by. As everyone stopped Sasuke bumped into Hinata, and by reaction he held her hips to make sure that neither of them fell or stumbled. Hinata blushed.

“Sorry. I wasn't paying attention.” He whispered into her ear.

“Ok” she said rather happy.

As Kakashi opened the door he said “Here I will be testing your skills. So get ready”. The place to where Kakashi had opened the door was like an outside ground with a lot of trees and grass, but it had fences all around it with seals on them. The place was so big that the students couldn't see the end of it and barely the far away fences covered by trees. They could only see the tall fences from a distance.

As every one started to spread out throughout the field, Sasuke, Hinata and Tayuya separated.

The sound of kunais hitting each other was all over the place.

Naruto didn't give up.

“Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!”

Naruto's training partner, Ino, couldn't make out from what tree Naruto's voice came from. She positioned herself in a fighting stance with her kunai ready but then to break her concentration Naruto threw a kunai directly towards ino's left knee which made her jump back and loose her balance. She fell back and as Naruto came to attack, her body turned out to be substitution Jutsu. As Ino was pulling out a shuriken a distance away from Naruto, teachers were calling out students, meaning their training was done for the day and so were classes. As Naruto and Ino started to walk towards the teacher they gave each other a high five.

“I almost had you” she said.

“Barely” he smirked.

“I'll get you next time”

“Not if Kurenai or Gai change you as my partner”

Ino made a fake pout but then smiled. “Alright then. Bye.”

“Bye” Naruto and Ino went with their separate group of friends. Naruto met up with Gaara and his new friends; Shikamaru and Neji. As he was catching up with them he heard his name being mentioned.

“Right, Naruto?” said Shikamaru as he turned around to face Naruto.

“What?”

“You got a hot partner. That's what!”

“I guess so” he said, not as enthusiastic.

“Don't let tamari hear you say that” said Neji.

“Speaking of girls. Neji, what about your so called sister?” asked Gaara. “Do you know if she came today?”

Neji stayed pensive for a while. “I'm not sure” He said. “But all I know is that for this semester she and I won't be having the same classes.”

“Who's she?” said Naruto.

“Just somebody” answered Gaara.

Naruto could tell that Gaara didn't want to continue the conversation any longer, and the others didn't answer his question, so he just stayed quiet the whole way until he was out in the crowded hallways. He spotted someone he definitely didn't expect.

“Did you see Sasuke?” asked Itachi.

“No”

“If you see him, tell him I'll be home a little late.” With that said, Itachi left and disappeared in to the sea of people.

Naruto kept on walking and was pushed against someone. He quickly stood straight to face the person, as best as he could, while still being pushed because of the crowd of people trying to get through each other.

“Sorry. I was pushed by mistake.” He kept on talking and didn't realize how close he was pressed against her until he saw her blushing.

“It's alright” she giggled. It didn't bother her that his chest was almost pressed against hers.

Naruto noticed and chuckled. “Again, Sorry”

She smiled. “I'm Hinata”

“I'm Naruto. Sorry we had to meet this way.”

`It was my pleasure' she thought with a smile on her face.

“Well I'm sort of in a hurry to find my friend so I guess I'll see you around. Bye.”

“Bye” she said. `You'll definitely see me around.'

->FYI for those of you who don't remember, Tayuya was one of the characters that fought Tamari and Shikamaru when they were in search for Sasuke, except she's good in this story

->Hinata's hair is long

->Neji and Hinata are not cousins in my story, but are considered siblings in the school because of their looks

Oh and don't think that you already know the pairings exactly because it isn't what it looks like ^_^
