<b>Notes</b>: Err, yes… The prologue was quite short. But I swear! From now on, the
actual chapters will be longer. Also, I decided to move the Super Special Fun Fact to the
top of each chapter. - The more you review the more I update!
<b>Super Special Fun Fact</b>: “Tengo un gato en mi pantalones.” Is the Spanish
sentence for “I have a cat in my pants.”

<center><b><u>Chapter One
I’m Uzumaki Naruto!</b></u></center>
<i>…Okay, so I don’t know anything about Kyuubi-san’s container.</i> Just
how Nibi was supposed to find this person, she did not know. However, at least she was
enjoying the beautiful scenery of Konoha… sort of. Well, they were enjoying her.
Guys left and right were giving her ‘looks’. <i>Maybe I can ask one of them about
Kyuubi-san.</i> But whenever she went walking up to one of the many men goggling at
her gorgeous body and asked, “Hey! Do you know who the kyuubi’s container is?” they
just ran off.
<i>Maybe he left the village for a mission?</i> Nibi thought as she departed from
Konoha.
<hr>
“Morning, Sakura-chan!” Naruto shouted just a little too loudly as he ran into the
fifth Hokage’s office. Tsunade, the current Hokage, was massaging her temples.
“Morning, Naruto,” Haruno Sakura said, smiling brightly. Then she frowned slightly,
“We still have to wait for Kakashi-sensei.”
Moments later, Hatake Kakashi came walking in nonchalantly. Before he could apologize
or say good morning, Tsunade began speaking. “Good. Now that all of you are here, I
have a mission for you. An infamous group of bandits has moved their hideout to
somewhere in the Fire Country, though we are not sure where.
“I want you to find them and stop them. We don’t know what their goals are, but they
could be after Konoha’s family records or the forbidden scroll in order to learn secret
techniques. They are highly skilled warriors, so don’t expect this to be easy. You are to
prepare for a journey of at least three weeks, and leave tomorrow at noon. Is that clear?”
“Yes, Tsunade-shishou.”
“Yes, Hokage-sama.”
“Yes, Tsunade no Ba-chan.”

“Kakashi-sensei, how much longer do we have to run like this?” Naruto whined.
Kakashi did not answer. However, Sakura did, “We’re almost there. We’ve been
traveling for six days, and I can sense an immense amount of chakra nearby.”
After about another hour or so of running, the bandits’ came into view.
Unfortunately, Naruto, being the clumsy moron he is, tripped over a tree root and was
sent sprawling in the middle of what appeared to be their dinner.
Naruto thought he heard Kyuubi say “Dumbass,” before he jumped up and began
yelling at them about how what they do is wrong, they’ll never get away with it, Kage
Bunshin no Jutsu, blah, blah, blah.
The bandits easily over powered him. Sakura and Kakashi then leapt forward and
pounded the living daylights out of them until there were only three left; one ready for
Sakura, one ready for Kakashi, and one pinning Naruto to the ground, a kunai at his
throat.
No matter how hard he tried, Naruto couldn’t throw the bandit off him. Just when
Naruto was about to give up and take drastic measures, a figure came flying through the
air, taking out the last bandits with one blow each. A strong hand reached out to help him
out.
“Who are you?” Nibi asked as she pulled the boy to his feet.
“I’m Uzumaki Naruto!”

“It’s time you learned something new, Naruto,” Jiriaya said gruffly.
“Yay! Finally!”
“Don’t get too excited. For this you need to use the kyuubi’s power.”
“Okay,” Naruto didn’t care what he needed. He just wanted the new technique.
“You are going to ‘fuse’ with Kyuubi.”
“What?!” <i>What?!</i>
“Not anytime soon, though. You still need to get to know him better.”
“Get to know him?” Naruto said frustrated, “But he’s been in my body practically my
whole life.”
“Have you ever really talked to Kyuubi?”
“No…”
“Exactly. Now let’s get to work. This could take up to two months to prepare for.”
<i>Ask him why we have to fuse,</i> Kyuubi growled.
“Kyuubi wants to know why we have to fuse.”
Jiraiya sighed. “You’ll become at least ten times stronger than you are now. That way,
you’ll be strong enough to get Sasuke back.”
Uchiha Sasuke. Team 7’s fourth member who had abandoned them in search of greater
power in order to kill his brother.
“A person with this kind of power would make a great Hokage,” Jiraiya encouraged him.
“So, are you ready to start training?”
“You bet!”

It had been a month and a half since Naruto started training for the fusion. Nibi,
who had overheard the whole thing was beginning to worry. Surely Jiraiya would have to
weaken the seal. It would be the ideal time to release it completely. However, if she
messed up, there’d be no second chances and her friend, Kyuubi, would be gone forever.
But even if she did succeed, there was a 95% chance Naruto would die. It was truly quite
the dilemma.
Sakura and Kakashi were totally unaware of the fact the Naruto was going to fuse with
Kyuubi which did make secrecy for Nibi a hell of a lot easier. During the time Naruto had
been with Jiraiya working on this, Nibi had seemingly become good friends with them.
Not being able to tell them her name was Nibi Neko, she used the name Kanna.
“Kanna-san!”
“Oh, Sakura-chan. So good to see you,” Nibi lied, plastering a fake but believable smile
on her face. Truth be told, she wasn’t too fond of these people.
“You haven’t seen Naruto, have you?”
“Naruto-kun? No, I haven’t. Why?”
Sakura shifted uneasily. “Kakashi and I have both been sensing strange bursts of chakra
lately. However, we haven’t seen Naruto to ask him about it yet.”
“I see.”
<i>So, they can sense it after all.</i> Just as Nibi was thinking this she felt an immense
aura of demonic chakra.
“Naruto?!” Sakura screamed, following the source. She was followed closely by Nibi.
They reached the scene shortly, landing on either side of Jiraiya.
“What’s going on?!” Sakura asked, hysterical.
“The fusion is about to begin.”
<i>It’s now or never</i>. Nibi dashed forward, her right hand outstretched, emanating
chakra. <i>Forgive me, Naruto…</i>
“Kanna! Stop!” Jiraiya shouted at the top of his lungs.
It was too late. Naruto’s stomach connected with Nibi’s palm. He fell back a few feet as a
massive amount of white smoke swirled around them. The smoke began to clear and the
figure of a tall man could be seen.
“Long time no see… Nibi Neko-chan,” he said.
“Kyuubi-san!”

<b>Notes</b>: Okay, I lied. It didn’t turn out lighthearted as I promised. And I actually
got more covered in this chapter than I had planned. But now there shouldn’t be many or
any scenes at all focused on Nibi. They’re going to be focused on the main characters of
this story: Naruto and Kyuubi. So, now that Kyuubi has been released, serious plot
development will begin, and romance will bloom. However, the romance shouldn’t come
for a while. That’s all I have to say. So please leave a review! I hope you enjoyed
