"Naruto, you are now a member of Anbu," Tsunade said, standing up from behind her desk. Naruto looked at his once bare shoulder, now inked onto it was the Anbu tattoo. "Your missions from here on out will only get harder."
Looking up from his shoulder, Naruto smiled. "I know baa-chan."
Tsunade looked into the blue eyes of her younger brother. He looks so happy I guess I shouldn't spoil it for him. "Alright that is all Naruto, be here tomorrow at the same time to meet your new team."
Getting up from his chair Naruto turned around. "Alright baa-cha I will." Turning the knob of the Hokage's office door, Naruto walked out to the hallway.
Damn brat! Next time he calls me that I'm going to send him through the wall, she thought with an evil grin.
This is awesome, I can't wait for my first mission as an Anbu, Naruto thought, walking down the crowded streets of Kohona. Maybe I should go to get some ramen to celebrate. Naruto's stomach seemed to agree, as it started to rumble. I'm going to get alot of miso-pork. Unknown to Naruto, he had started to drool at the side of his face, getting him weird glances from the people walking past him.
Finally arriving at his favorite ramen stand, Naruto spotted his plump friend, Chouji. "Heeey Chouji!" Turning his head around Chouji waved at Naruto for him to join him for lunch. Sitting down next to Chouji, Naruto could hardly wait to tell him the great news.
"Why do you look so happy, Naruto?" Chouji asked, seeing the screwed up smile that had crossed his friend's face.
"I have some big news," Naruto said, starting to pull up his sleeve revealing his Anbu tattoo. Chouji's eyes bulged out of his head when he noticed what the marking meant.
"You mean you've been made Anbu?" Chouji questioned, wanting to know if this was a joke.
"The old hag has just appointed me a new member of Anbu," Naruto stated proudly.
Chouji stared at the Anbu tattoo for a few minutes before responding. "Congratulations Naruto, lunch is on me," he said, patting his friend on the back.
Alright, I become a member of Anbu, and I get free lunch. How much better could this day get? Naruto asked himself while scarfing down his free meal.
Finishing up their meal, Naruto and Chouji said their goodbyes and went in different directions. Walking down the road that took him to his apartment, he noticed it was much quieter than earlier. I guess it's later than I thought. Maybe I should go tell Kakashi-sensei the good news, well he probably already knows. Now, just walking without a destination, Naruto kept going.
I guess I better get home, I'll need my rest tomorrow. Naruto, now looking around to where he had wandered to, realized he was at team seven's training ground.
"Well, I didn't expect to find you out here Naruto," came a familiar voice.
Turning around Naruto spotted Kakashi standing over the memorial stone. What's he doing here so late? "What are you doing here, Kakashi-sensei?"
Looking up from the memorial stone Kakashi faced Naruto, "I'm just visiting old friends, how about you?" Kakashi asked, walking over so he was right in front of Naruto.
"I was just walking around and I ended up here."
"I see, I heard about the good news, Anbu huh?" Naruto nodded, sitting down by the middle wooden post where he was tied up so long ago. "Well since you're Anbu now, I have something new to teach you, a powerful ninjutsu only you are capable of."
This making Naruto immediately jump up. "What, are you serious?"
"Yes, I am going to teach you BLACK WINGS OF CHAOS."
