Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Blissful Moon ❯ Chapter One ( Chapter 1 )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]
A/N: This is my first story on this site. I don't really know how it all works, but I guess it's a matter of trial and error. Please tell me if I screw something up, okay? Also, I'm going to pretend that Sasuke never left. I apologize if anybody doesn't like the idea. I needed him to have stayed, so that my main characters don't have to be genin. Just, you know, bear with me, here.

Disclaimer: Naruto does not belong to be in any form. Masashi Kishimoto rightfully owns Naruto, and this story is not in any way of his doings or partnered with him (actually, he doesn't even know about it, so...) On with the story!

Chapter One

She was tired. Dead tired. The past few weeks had gone by in a breathtaking blur, sending her energy and stamina down the drain. It was Monday, again, and she didn't feel like getting up to start the week.
Not like the start of a new week was that important. For a kunoichi, work was nonstop. You never got up in the morning, got ready for work, said bye to your family, then left to bring home the bacon. You never came home exhausted, kissed your family as you rest from a hard day's work, never laid down in bed so that you could start the damn process over again. You never took days off for vacation, never rested at home on the weekends, then dreaded Monday because, hell, you had such a great time relaxing.
It was always being prepared for work to come up. It was training hard everyday so that your deadly skills didn't turn into cramped muscles and extra bodily weight that just pulled you down everytime you tried to leap from tree branch to tree branch.
But, even an active kunoichi is always an impassive morning person, yet it was expected of them to show otherwise, because that was the ninja way, and, as always, a kunoichi must uphold her duty to her village.
Throwing her covers down her naked form, the young kunoichi groaned and set the day's beginning tempo to a leisurely pace.

"Yoru-chan!" called a voice from the mass of people around the kunoichi. "Yoru-chan!"
Shizuka Yoru stopped short, halting her already-slow stroll to a complete stop. "Naruto-kun?"
Naruto sighed in relief as he walked up to her. As he did so, his eyes became enraged. "Tsunade-obaasan wants to see you." he mumbled.
"Oh...Okay." Yoru said, watching the pooling emotions in his sky-blue eyes. "Uhm, if I may, what's wrong?"
Naruto crossed his arms, growling, "Tsunade-obaasan is being a jerk! She won't let me go on the mission with you!" The boy quickly looked down at the girl in front of him. "I feel sorry for you, Yoru-chan."
"Why?" the girl asked, tilting her head, her nightsky-colored hair quivering at the movement.
"For one, the mission itself." Naruto grinned slyly at the pale girl. "For two, Sasuke-teme is the one that's going! Lucky..."
The girl's silver eyes showed the slightest hint of confusion. "I probably shouldn't ask, but...What's the mission?"
Naruto's grin reappeared, as it had vanished at the mention of 'Sasuke.' "You'll see!"

"What?!" shouted Yoru, her nostrils flaring in rage. Both Tsunade and Shizune watched her with amusement; Sasuke, being the impassive jerk he is, just glanced at her with an unknown emotion, before his eyes became their normal, blank expression. "You've got to be joking...! T-This h-has to be a m-mistake!"
"Would I lie joke about something like this?!" Tsunade retorted, though it was almost a yell.
"I-I can't do this, Tsunade-sama!"
Tsunade sighed. "Keep complaining. You and I both know that, either way, you're going to do this."
Yoru groaned, smacking the palm of her hand to her forehead; why did these kind of things always happen to her? Why? It seemed so likely that she would get this kind of mission; one where she would have to shamelessly arouse grubby, slimy, dirty men, and even some women. Just to assassinate some drug lord in a foreign country, which could be easily done by an ANBU agent, which could save troubling anyone with mortifying things, such as stripping.
"When...?" she sighed, her hand sliding down her face.
"Tomorrow."
At that, Yoru stared at her wide-eyed. "I don't even know how to do something like that, Tsunade-sama! In case you didn't know, I've never actually been to a strip club!"
The Hokage chuckled darkly and leaned back in her chair. "That's why Uchiha Sasuke is coming with you. On the way to Tsukigakure, he'll be your sensei in this field. He was the only available Chuunin for this mission. He'll also assist you in assassinating Kusuri Aruji."
Yoru almost screamed. She wasn't fond of the Uchiha, unlike so many other girls who seemed to take a liking to him. Why was he so void of emotions.
The girl cursed under her breath.
"Shizuka Yoru, Uchiha Sasuke, I order you to find and kill the drug lord Kusuri Aruji!"
Reluctantly, both Chuunins nodded, and said, "Hai."

Running her hands through her dark locks, Yoru groaned. "Why the hell...?" she muttered as she tried to close her eyes.
"Just don't expect me to call him 'sensei.'"
