Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Blossom of Power ❯ Dungeon ( Chapter 1 )

Ummmm…….. Well this is chapter one of ? # of chapters so yeah well…. This is my first Naruto fic so please be nice and remember to review after you read.

"Huh? Where am I?" Naruto's eyes flickered open. But everything was dark and blurry. "what happened, I can't remember?" Naruto said. Everything around him coming into focus. When he could see well he realized he was in a dungeon. Then some of his memories flickered back to him….

The night he and Sasuke had become Anbu, there was a celebration, Tsunade needed them because a lot of the Anbu were dead or disappeared since orochimaru's 2nd attack on Konoha. The next day Tsunade assigned Naruto and Sasuke to be partners. There was a trap and he was caught he could hear Sasuke's voice fading into the distance. But he could not make out the words coming from his partner's mouth.

Naruto realized he was hanging on a dungeon wall by rope, he tried the ropes strength but could not get loose, he tried making a seal but found that his charka had been bound, down to the very last bit. "This seal is very long and complicated; I must have been in here for days." Naruto thought to himself. He looked to his sides and found that there other were people next to him also tied against the wall there were no walls separating them but he couldn't reach them. "Hello?" He called out to the people." They must be sleeping," Naruto thought to himself. He looked at the people again. They were only wearing rags. He looked at his own attire He still wore his Anbu shirt and pants, caked in blood, his own blood.

"It's a trap Naruto! Watch out!" Sasuke's voice yelled to him. Naruto spun around in time to parry a kunai coming straight towards him. He wanted to see if Sasuke was okay, but he needed to pay attention to his own problems. He launched 4 kunai's at the guy who attacked him. Naruto was worn out from the journey and his charka was diminished. The man jumped from the tree and cut Naruto from his shoulder to his elbow, Naruto in turn knocked the man out with the blunt end of his kunai. Three men appeared from behind him and threw shadow nets over him. Before they covered him he saw Sasuke had suffered from the same shadow nets that had captured him. He could here Sasuke's voice fading into the distance….

"Why can't I remember anymore?!" Naruto muttered to himself, he strained his memory, to no avail. There was only one source of light in the dark dank dungeon; it was the long stairwell at the end of the hall between the two sides of the dungeon where the people hung. He heard footsteps coming down the stairs. From seeing the people's feet he saw that there were 3 people. Judging by the boots Naruto thought the people on the sides were probably low class guards. The person in the middle though, he was wearing fine leather boots, with most likely genuine silver buckles, Also on the boots were cases of kunai's.

The people got all the way down the stairs, but because of the shadows Naruto could only confirm that there were 2 guards, as he thought and they were carrying nasty looking spears. "Why cant I remember my mission….What was I supposed to do????" Naruto thought to himself. Growing angry at his own mind. The 3 men walked slowly down the path between the most likely enchanted iron bars. When they were all standing in front of Naruto, the middle person raised his head to reveal blazing sharingan eyes. Naruto wasn't a fool to look on them but he could tell from the sheer intensity of the gaze. When Naruto thought it was over he looked up to see the smiling face Of Itachi Uchiha.
