Chapter 5 "Good News?"

           "There is no way I would ever be your disciple!" Naruto yelled at the much older and stronger man. Naruto struggled violently against his bindings to no avail. Kandtu tied Naruto back up to his post, and he said," For one so "old" and "mature" I would expect you would be more realistic, unless you would like to stay here forever you will join us" Kandtu then silently, and quickly got up and left the now light dungeon. Naruto spent some time looking at the stonework of the dungeon ceiling, he observed the cracks, and the grime, and white mold that covered some of the vast ceiling. None of the other inmates talked to him and he didn't talk to them either, he liked it that way.

           Naruto slept away the rest of the day until dinner of the most delicious bread and water he had ever tasted. Then Naruto dozed back off to sleep. Naruto was wakened in the morning suddenly by the feeling of ice cold water spraying mistily down on his hot sweaty flesh. As abruptly as they began the stopped just as abruptly, leaving behind small gloomy puddles of water to add to the already gloomy dungeon. Naruto was startled (and he had a right to be) because one of the white hooded nurses in the middle of feeding him spoke, "Itachi-sama wanted you to know you will be taken to see your second guest." "Hurrah I get to leave this dump!" The man walked off quietly avoiding all of Naruto's many questions.

           Naruto thought of the hopefully marvelous day ahead of him. He actually might get out of this cell?! This person must be pretty damn important if he can't get his ass down here to this dump. Questions flitted through Naruto's mind. He was so exited hardly could eat his lunch. After lunch Kandtu picked up Naruto. Kandtu kept him tied by the arms, and he was under a binding seal. He could scarcely breathe. Now finally Naruto could catch a glimpse of the rest of the castle. They were walking at a fast pace through the intricate brightly lit tunnels, and hallways. They at last came to a stop in front a gigantic oak door, with gold painted iron bars. They were inlaid into the wood with remarkable craftsmanship. Naruto suddenly felt very small and helpless so dwarfed by the huge door. Naruto thought h heard a dull pounding but dismissed it for the heat playing tricks on his mind.
