Chapter SEVEN: Another coma?

“Pleased to meet you Naruto I see you have already met my brother well my name is Narake, Master of the crystal kunai!”

Naruto gasped, open-mouthed, and said shakily, “B-but I thought you... You are supposed to be dead. The other nin's said you had f-f-failed.” Naruto mumbled staring at the man, who was garbed in leaf Nin clothes. He wore a Hatake headband exactly like the one Naruto wore. His dark hair reminded Naruto fleetingly of Sasuke.

 

“So, the reported me dead huh? It is not surprising, I am after all dead!” He said laughing. Naruto gasped loudly, and backed away from the man. “Dead to them that is...” Narake finished solemnly, almost with a sigh of regret.

 

“They reported me dead, that means I owe my brother Kandtu 20 yen, I at least thought that they would report me lost, or wanted...” The man hunched over, as if he was thinking then straightened his back and kicked up his feat on the couch.

 

Man this guy is nothing like his brother, he reminds me of Kakashi-sensei! This place just keeps getting weirder, and weirder.

 

“Well Naruto I guess it is about time for me to start getting down to business, what did they want me to tell you, oh yes! They wanted me to convince you to join us just as... Oops! I wasn't supposed to go that far...” He said it all very bluntly, smiling in a very friendly way.

 

A realization came over Naruto... Not everyone was trying to hurt him, just because some of these people were cruel and mean did not mean all of them were. Many were just victims of circumstance, probably at the wrong place at the wrong time. All Narake probably wanted was a secluded place to forge weapons, and this was a quiet, secluded place.

 

After waiting for Naruto to finish his thoughts Narake asked him nicely, but in a more serious tone, “So at this point Naruto, what would you choose? Would you stay and train with my brother and I, or would you choose to stay in this prison for the rest of you're life. We have given you your options, now you must decide...”

 

It was too much, Naruto's head felt like it was splitting! He began to slip away, back to a familiar place...

 

Kakashi pranced off to join Iruka and some other adults in a few rounds of drinks. “That was so embarrassing! I feel like my cheeks are on fire.” And Hinata really did look like her cheeks were set ablaze.

 

“Naruto, we did it! We actually made it to anbu class.” Sasuke let release one of his very few smiles. Naruto smiled back, wishing to be alone with Hinata. She caught his drift and said smiling, “Oh Sasuke! Shouldn't you be with your girl friend? I think she wants to be with you!”

 

And indeed she did, Sakura was infuriated. She stormed over, grabbed Sasuke and pulled him in to the small fireside den.

 

“Finally some time for us!” Hinata said pulling Naruto into her bedroom. She set Naruto on her bed. “I'm going to go change into something more comfortable.” She said smiling in a devilishly cute way. Naruto just sat naively waiting.

 

When she came back into the room Hinata was completely bare apart from her panties and a bra. She laid on the bed next to Naruto and the began to kiss.

 

“You may wake up now Naruto.” Naruto was too tired to notice who it was. He still dreamed of Hinata, and all the others, Oh how he longed for them.

 

“Hinata is that you?... You can come back into the bed now.”

“Naruto, you are awake! This is Kandtu, you have been sleeping for a very long time, now I must end this!” Naruto felt a sharp but not painful stab, and he was wide awake in a few seconds. “How long was I asleep?” Naruto said clearly, surprising even himself he always mumbled when he was tired.

 

But he found that he was not tired, but his body thought that he was supposed to be. Kandtu must be very strong indeed if he can stop your body from functioning properly!

 

“You have been asleep for three days.” Kandtu said, then walking to get some food and water for him. Naruto ate all of the food, not eating for three days can put a lot of strain on the body. “WAIT!...”

 

“Does that mean I have to stay here forever?” Naruto said, suddenly panicking. He tried to sit all the way up, but found that he could not move his body. He began coughting up small drops of blood.

 

“What-is-this?” Naruto asked between coughs. “It is the medicine taking effect.” “You mean you did this to me!”

 

“I did that to stop you from going into a coma for the rest of your life! The side-effects will wear off very soon!" Kandu said angrily, annoyed by Naruto's petty comments.
