Naruto and the others came up to Sasuke to see what everyone was doing here. He was silent for a little bit, but eventually spoke. “they say that Itachi is back.”

 

“are you serious?” Sakura asked. Sasuke just nodded. “well what are you going to do?”

 

“im going to kill him.”

 

“no you're not.” Naruto said.

 

“why not?”

 

“he is probably expecting that. So, you should think of something else.”

 

“but, he'll probably try to kidnap you again.”Naruto could hear the worry in his lovers voice.

 

“if you stay with us, you stand a better chance of not getting killed yourself.” Gaara said.

 

Sasuke looked around and could tell that he wasn't going to be able to get out of this. So, he decided to agree. They went to ichiruka's like they originally set out to do. After they ate there, they all went home. “you know, you should just move in with me since you're here everynight anyway.” Sasuke told Naruto.

 

“I guess I could. It would save me the trouble having to go to my apartment everyday for clothes.”

 

When they got to sasuke's house they noticed that there was a light on in one of the upstairs windows. They stood outside for a while to figure out what room the light was on in. it was sasuke's room. Naruto and Sasuke ran in the house and strait to his room. When they got there they stopped at the doorway, frozen. Itachi was sitting on the bed looking at some pictures.

 

“what the hell are you doing here?” Sasuke asked. Then whispered to Naruto to go to another room. Naruto was reluctant to leave but gave in.

 

“relax, little brother. I didn't come here to fight. Or take Naruto.” He replied. “you have some interesting friends. The Kazekage, a former criminal ninja, and other weird people.”

 

“what do you care? And if you're not here for Naruto, why are you here?”

 

“I don't really care. I was just commenting on the people you hang out with. Im here to give you my approval of Naruto.”

“huh?” Sasuke was dumbfounded. He hadn't expected Itachi to come here for that.

 

“you heard me.”

 

“why would you want to give me your approval? I thought you hated me.”

 

“I do hate you. But you know I is tradition in our family for the eldest sibling to approve or disapprove of the person their younger sibling wishes to date.”with that said, Itachi walked out.

 

`he came here to approve of Naruto? Theres something you don't see everyday.' He thought. Naruto heard someone walking out of sasukes room and decided to see who it was. He saw Itachi and froze. Luckily for him, Itachi didn't see him. He went back to sasukes room and saw him standing in the same place he was when Naruto left. But this time he looked like he was thinking.

 

“Sasuke, are you ok?” Naruto asked concerned.

 

“ya. I think itachi's going soft.” Sasuke mused.

 

“why?”

 

“he came to approve of you.”

 

“what? Approve?”

 

“I'll explain some other time. For now lets get some sleep.”
