There can be no Good without Evil, no Light without Dark, no Happiness without Sadness, no Life without Death.

No Life without Death.

This, I know.

Have I not killed, with my own hands?

Have I not seen, with my own eyes?

If I did not kill, I would be killed.

And if I were living only for myself, perhaps I would allow it.

But I am Hokage.

I kill and heal and kill and heal and repeat that same, contradicting cycle over and over.

Not for myself.

For them.

For them I will kill, so they may have life.
