Well here we go. Chapter 1 my first good fanfic. I’ve been trying to figure out how I was going to do this for a while. I think I finally got something. So here we go. I do not own the rights to Naruto.

It was a cold and snowy night when Sasuke Uchiha rose from his bed. He got up and began to wander through the seemingly endless halls of his masters lair. “I wonder where Kabuto is,” he asked himself. “It cant wait any longer. I need to find him soon before its too late.” He eventually found a secret room hidden beneath the floors. He walked down the stairs into what looked to be a shrine of some kind.

Meanwhile…

A sinister figure stood in the middle of the forest. “Kabuto, do you read me,” he spoke into the radio. “Sasuke should be awake by now. If he finds the secret room you know what to do.” He walked into the moonlight and revealed himself as Orochimaru. “I hope this works.”

Back at the hideout…

“Kabuto,” Sasuke yelled. “Are you here?” He heard the entrance close up behind him.

“Yes Sasuke,” Kabuto spoke from the shadows. “I’m here. What would you like to talk about?” Sasuke turned to him.

“What’s been going on lately with Orochimaru? Why has he been acting so strange? I can tell he’s been plotting something sinister. You as his right hand man should know. So tell me what’s going on.”

Kabuto walked out of the shadows. “Wow Sasuke,” he muttered. “your as sharp as ever. Indeed Lord Orochimaru’s been planning something. Every night for the past year you’ve been waking up and wandering the area sticking your nose into every little hole of information you could find. We’ve known about this for some time. Originally Lord Orochimaru’s plan was to train you until he was ready to take over your body so he could use the sharingan to master all the worlds jutsu. However he’s realized that your motives are not pure. You intend to kill Lord Orochimaru on the day he tries to absorb you. That’s why you’ve been poking around into our business. So you can find his greatest weaknesses, so you can learn his jutsu, so you can betray him like you did Naruto. Too bad for you we caught on. Orochimaru is not in the hideout. He’s long gone Sasuke. Too bad.”

Sasuke activated his Sharingan. “your not as dumb as you look,” he said to Kabuto. “However you cant possibly plan to stop me from killing you and finding Orochimaru. I know I’ve surpassed you in skill already. You might as well just let me do as I wish.”

“That’s where your wrong Sasuke,” Kabuto spoke. “You won’t be victorious here.” Kabuto took a battle stance. “Your going to die here. You will now be known as a failed experiment.”

Sasuke took a battle stance as well. “Nothing about me is a failed experiment,” he replied. “You’ll see that once I beat you here.”

Kabuto charged at Sasuke with his Chakra blades. Sasuke jumped in the air and pulled out his sword. “I’ll finish you quickly,” Sasuke yelled while swinging his blade at Kabuto. The sword hit its mark but Sasuke soon realized he was fighting an illusion.

“Behind you,” Kabuto spoke before striking Sasuke’s neck with a blast of chakra. He flew into a wall and Kabuto vanished.

Sasuke got up and looked around. “Where’d he go?” Suddenly he heard a sizzling noise. ‘What?” There were hundreds of paper bombs covering the room. They began to burn up. “NO,” Sasuke yelled. Then the entire base went up in smoke and Sasuke along with it.

Back in the forest…

“Good work Kabuto,” Orochimaru said to his subordinate. “Now on to the next base.” The two took off running.


Yes I did kill Sasuke. But don’t fear, things will get better as time passes. I know this chapter was short and full of holes but trust me. Things are going to get longer. This was more like a prologue than a chapter. Please comment I would appreciate it.
