"I really wish I remembered something about who I am..."naruto sighed.
"You will in time...dont worry."
After they walked through parts of the town narutos eyes sprang open when he saw a man
shadowing over a pink haired girl with a half smile and trying to kiss her.
"Sasuke! Stop that tickles! Ha ha ha ha..." she cried as he licked her ear.
Naruto put the breaks on his wheelchair startling hinata. She looked up and saw his two old team
mates.
"Do you recognize them?" she asked with a smile.
"I think I might...t-team 7 comes to mind..." he said with a slight smile.
"Thats amazing! You remember them!" she screamed happily.
He got up and staggered over to the couple who are wrapped up in their own world.
"E-excuse me..." he interrupted.
The laughing coupled turned to the where the voice had come from and gaped.
"n-naruto..." the pink haired girl whispered in disbelief.
"I think I remember you...Sauk-...ugh I know you! I know I do! I think I liked you!" he said in
frustration.
"Its ok naruto please sit back down..." hinata ushered him back into the wheelchair.
He looked up to see the onyx eyes that haunted his nights...he saved him...his brother...
"Brother?" naruto questioned as his blue eyes met the dark eyes above him.
"Naruto...Im so happy to see you awake..." sasuke said as he gave his ,,brother a hug.
"I know you..." naruto staggered away from sasuke, he fell on his butt and held his temples.
"SASUKE!!!!!!!!" naruto screamed and ran after him.
Naruto jumped in front of sasuke taking in an on coming snake from Orochimaru.
The snake was a 5 grade explosive, naruto flew back 20 yards.
He felt a pair of arms intercept him as they impacted a rock wall.
He looked up seeing a girl's face...
She saved him...
"AHHHH!" she cried out in pain as he saw a kunai fly at her back.
She tore it out and took a defensive stance in front of his almost unconscious body.
"You won't harm him...you bastard!" She yelled and charged.
"AAAAAHHHHHHH!" naruto cried holding his head sobbing and rocking back and forth.
The foxs chakra began flowing from his body...
"Naruto..." hinata gasped.
She ran to his side and tried to calm him on to have his chakra burn her slightly. She focused
medic healing chakra in her palm and placed it on his head.
His blue eyes reappeared as he looked anywhere but at the girl who just saved him, from
himself...
"Naruto..." she said as delicately as possible, sasuke and sakura a bit startled but close enough to
hear the chat between the two.
"Its ok now...youre home, I promise I wont let anything happen to you." She swore then
hugged the startled and scared boy.
"Now..." she began and helped him to his feet and to the wheel chair, "lets go get some
ramen!" she cheered.
His stomach churned at the thought of food but he didnt want to be rude so agreed.
She silently bid farewell for her and naruto to their friends.
She and naruto remained silent as she rolled him up to the ramen shop.
"Konichiwa...n-naruto?" the old man said surprised. This was expected. Most of Kahona
thought Naruto was dead...so this would be a surprise to most.
"Hello..."then he whispered, "Hinata do I know him?"
"Yes..." she smiled.
He smiled back, and got up walking slowly towards a bar stool to sit.
"Hinata-sama how are you today I see you look tired." the ramen man said with a gentle smile.
"Oh well, you try keeping the number-one-knuckle-head-ninja quiet and seated..." she laughed.
"Hey! I know youre talking about me! I remember that was my nick name..." he pouted.
This made both hinata and the ramen shop keeper laugh. She missed this, these small moments
where she felt as if they were the only two in the entire world...to bad the second any other girl
saw him...hed forget about her...again...
Hinata sighed at the thought of loosening him, but was snapped back to earth by a frustrated
grunt coming from him...
She almost fell out of the chair from laughter seeing him attempting to use chopsticks like a four
year old, sloshing the soup everywhere dropping the noodles. The old man couldnt understand
what was wrong until hinata said...
"Naruto do you remember how to use these?" she said as she broke her chopsticks and placed
them between her fingers.
He looked down defeated.
"No..." he said childishly.
She giggled, twirled some noodles on his chopsticks and held it in front of his mouth. The old
man chuckled as a blush spread across narutos face.
"Come on open your mouth..." she said sweetly, almost seducing his mouth open with her voice.
He opened his mouth slowly timidly and allowed her to place the warm, sweet, salty noodles in
his mouth.
"MMMMMM! Yummm! That was delicious! Ive missed this!" he said hurriedly almost
grabbing the chopsticks out of her hands but something inside him growled and told him...
"How many times will you get an opportunity like this? Hmmm? Let her feed you and dress you,
then you return the favor later...have her beneath you...bang her...screw her...kiss her" The
voice growled viciously.
Naruto saw the fox eyes again flash in his head. It was scaring him but then he felt something
wet, but soft touch his cheeks. He shifted his eyes to see her lips on his freshly shaven cheeks.
She blushed, and moved away before the old man or the boy could register what just happened.
"Hinata? What was that?" naruto asked shyly touching his cheek like it was tingling.
She blushed and twirled her noodles once more...
"Its how someone says ,,I care about you...with out actually saying it..." she blushed but
looked anywhere but at him.
He shrugged his shoulders and leaned into her shoulder and placed his lips gently on her now
flushed cheek.
"N-naruto-kun?" a timid voice piped up.
"Oh, hi hinata-chan..." a younger version, maybe 7 or 8 years old responded.
He smiled and looked down to what the little girl was holding in front of him.
"I'm having a birthday party o-on Friday...w-would y-you come?" she blushed and placed her
hand in a shy pose before her face.
He smiled and bowed politely.
"You bet hinata! I wouldn't miss it..." he smiled, then lightly kissed her cheek in a tender
manor...
Hinata's hand slowly crept to her cheek and looked to him searching for a reason for such a
bold move...
"Its how you say thank you or that you care about someone...with out actually having to say
it..." naruto smiled and rubbed the back of his head.
Before he could register, hinata fainted...
"You liked me when we were younger...didnt you? And after my training I hardly saw
you...girls...all these girls who never noticed me before...said they loved me...but you...you
really do you love me..." he thought asking more himself the question did he love her just
watching her eat made him have weird feelings in the pit of his stomach and made something
inside his chest pound like a drum.
"hinata...I want to remember everything...I need to...theres so much I dont remember...and its
hurting you...I can see you are tired...and i want to remember this face..." he paused then asked
the old man for a pen and a napkin.
He busied himself with a drawing of menacing eyes, teeth the looked like razors a snarling
disposition and nine tails...
If naruto wasnt already a ninja...hed be an amazing artist.
"N-naruto?! Do you hear him?" she asked silently hiding the drawing hoping no other nin saw
it...even if they already knew...naruto was having a hard enough time as it was...he didnt need
any more drama.
"i-I think I did, when you kissed my cheek he said ,,have her keep dressing you, have keep
feeding you...soon return the favor, have her beneath you, kissing her...then something about
screwing? I dont know what that means but it made me feel weird and then before when I saw
the snakes eyes I think I heard the fox laughing and I saw you dive in front of me...to rescue
me..." he drifted off into another flashback this one more vivid.
He lay in someone's arms, his eyes wandered over the battle felid scoping the damage that he
and orochimaru as well as sasuke and Itachi made...
The fire...
The blood...
The tears...
Someone was shedding tears for him...
He looked up and felt one fall on his cheek sliding down his face.
He felt something on his head.
He felt cold...
He wanted to stand but he couldn't move he wanted to speak but all that came out was a stifled
moan...
His eyes locked with a pair of violet eyes...
His heart sped up...
He felt color come back to his face...
She smiled to try to loosen the bleak situation.
"How's he?" a sullen voice of Uchiha Sasuke asked.
He heard a sniffle come from the girl holding him.
"I almost was too late if I hadn't caught him...he'd...he would've...I wouldn't have forgiven
myself..." she let more tears fall more out joy that he was alive than anything.
"Look the chakra it's healing him..." sasuke said suddenly.
Hinata put her hands back over his head where blood slowly dripped, into her lap...
Her green medic glow was working slowly, too slowly...
"How did that happen?" sasuke asked kneeling down beside her.
"a snake bit into him...when he was fighting orochimaru...it was my fault..." not she turned her
head from his view and naruto's, letting her long hair fall into her face...
"How do you mean?"
"Orochimaru captured me while we looked for you...I was bathing...we had stopped for camp
and I heard a rustling in the bushes...I-I can't tell you anymore...it's to horrible...but of course
this knuckle head saves me but...not before Orochimaru's snake digs its fangs into naruto's
head...I couldn't heal it...I bandaged it... the bleeding stopped but now it's starting again..."
she shuddered and sobbed silently.
Sasuke picked him up and the two ran back to the village...
Then...
Black out...
"HINATA!" he yelled clutching onto her his breathing hard and tears fell from his eyes...
