They got to her house and were surprised to find that its windows and doors were open.

“ Hey, hey! Sensei, why is Sakura-chan's house all opened up like that? “

“ Maybe they're cleaning, or cooking. “ ` They're just asking for burglars `

“ Well, I guess we'll go inside and wait for her. “ Kakashi said ushering the boys into the house.

“ What's that smell, Sensei? “ Naruto asked holding his nose.

` It smells like blood ` Kakashi and Sasuke thought at the same time.

` Lemon? ` Kakashi thought as he sniffed the air, and then just shook his head.

` Why does Sakura's house smell like blood? ` Sasuke asked himself.

“ Sensei? “ Sasuke asked.

Kakashi looked at Sasuke, he had never called him Sensei, he must be really worried. “ I know, did either of you notice any wounds on Sakura this morning? “

“ No, why would she have wounds? Has someone been hurting her? “ Naruto climbed onto Kakashi shaking him, “ You know something don't you? What aren't you telling me? “

“ Naruto, let go of me, first of all, and secondly, sniff the air, what does it smell like? “

Naruto stuck his nose in the air, and walked further into the house.

“ Oh man, it really stinks in here, “ he said walking into the living room.

Kakashi and Sasuke were fast to follow.

“ Why does Sakura-chan's house smell all coppery? and lemony? “

He looked around to see why no one was answering him. They were inspecting the room.

“ What the fuck are you doing in my house? “

They all turned to see a really pissed off Sakura.

“ Sakura-chan we were really worried about you so we came to help or talk or help and talk. “ Naruto said scared. He had never seen Sakura this angry, and he's made her angry plenty of times.

“ When'd they leave Sakura-chan? “

“ A couple of days ago. “ ` That was quick, they'll never suspect anything's wrong ` Inner Sakura reasoned.

“ But I saw your mother at the grocery yesterday, and we talked. “ Her eyes widened again, she hadn't known that Kakashi hadn't really seen her mother. “ So, Sakura, are you ready to tell us, or are we just gonna have to look around some more and figure it out ourselves. “

“ Go fuck yourself “ Kakashi smirked, she was about to tell them what was going on. “ Fine you win. “ She sat down and the 3 of them did the same. “ Last night I came home from training and walked in to find myself in a paralyzing gen-jutsu, as soon as I walked through the door. I saw my parents on the floor, bloody, from being beaten. “ All of their eyes widened, but kept quiet. “ There were 3 ninjas looking for some kind of information that my parents had, so they beat them and beat them and beat them. But they still wouldn't give them the information, not until they threatened to kill me. I wish they had. I couldn't remember the counter to the paralyzing jutsu, until hours later. But the leader had been expecting that I had known it and told the other ninja's to kill my parents. But they already had when I was doing the counter, “ they looked shocked, they didn't know that she had to go thru that last night. Then the leader…” Sakura looked down, she just went through this and this was one of the most painful things that had happened. She started crying, and ran to the backyard.

It took awhile to register with the guys that she left, and then they ran after her. She was on her knees beside two huge piles of newly laid dirt.

` She must have buried her parents ` all three of them thought.

“ Sakura “ Kakashi said as he put his hand on her shivering back and kneeled beside her.

Her head snapped up, and her eyes were huge and red, tears still coming out, unnoticed. She looked around her and saw Naruto and Sasuke standing there, looking at her sympathetically.

` Why are they still here? Now that they know what I've become? ` Inner Sakura thought.

` Her eyes are full of pain. DAMN IT! I should have walked her home. ` Sasuke scolded himself.
