was a peaceful afternoon, Team 7 laid quietly in the grass soaking up some sun after a hard training session. Kakashi no doubt put them through hell. The had all grown so much. A few days ago, It had been Sakura's 16th birthday. They had a big blow out for her that had gone on until the wee hours of the morning.you want to go get some ramen with us?" asked Naruto while rubbing his growling stomach.got up and followed the guys to the ramen shack that Naruto went to frequently. She sat between Sasuke and Naruto. Kakashi hadn't been able to join them this time since he had a meeting with the hokage. The sat here silently eating their ramen until something had caught their attention. There at the end of the counter sat a Hunter-nin. Sakura stared at the ninja quizzically. know, its rude to stare at people." Said the mysterious ninja. boys looked at her wondering who it was under the mask. Sakura sat looking down at the floor. She didn't want to start something with this hunter-nin. She daringly looked up moments after but the ninja was gone. Sakura thought to herself, 'Who was that?' A few minutes later, Kakashi appeared.Hokage-sama has requested to see the 3 of you right away. Hurry up and meet at her office." 3 of them ran to Tsuande's office knowing full well that she didn't like tardiness. They stood leaning up against the wall, panting heavily. Tsuande looked up from her paper work and acknowledged the presence of the ninjas she had summoned. Everyone was accounted for and was ready to be briefed on what the Hokage had to say. cleared her throat and began, "We have a visitor that needs to be escorted home. He has attracted the attention of some shinobi and others, so this mission will be an A - B rank mission. Some of you will be chosen to journey with this Hunter-nin."looked over to see the ninja seated on the windowsill. Sakura had remembered that she was the Hunter-nin that she had conversed with earlier.will call her Ceres-sama. You better listen to what she says or else you will end up being killed or even worse, do you all understand?"all nodded in unison.now Ceres-chan, please select 10 of these ninjas to go with you."looked over the ninjas that had been gathered. She pointed to each of them. Neji, Kiba, Sasuke, Ino, Hinata, Lee, Shikamaru, Sakura, Tenten, and Naruto.ninjas that I chose, go home and rest up and pack whatever you need but make sure its light. We leave at midnight." that said she disappeared out of the room. who is that? What do you know of her? can she be trusted?" questioned Sakura.up, Her nickname is Ceres, I cannot tell you anything I know about her and yes, she can be trusted. Don't underestimate or overestimate her. She is a powerful ally and a dangerous and deadly enemy. Don't push her because she will not regret killing you if she feels like it. During missions, that is what she lives by, her code, If you're strong you live, if you're weak you die."Hokage waved them off and returned back to her paperwork. All the ones that were chosen went home to pack up and finally met at the entrance of Konoha. Ceres leaned against the wall awaiting them all.gonna say this once and only once. This is the plan and formation I want you all to be in. We will split into 2 groups, one group will have the real boy and the other will have a copy of him. Hinata, Lee, Tenten, Naruto, and Sakura will come with me with the real prince. Neji, Ino, Kiba, Shikamaru, and Sasuke will have a fake with them. The formation will be in this order: Me, Sakura, Lee, Naruto, Tenten, and followed by Hinata. The second group will then be Kiba, Shikamaru, Sasuke, Ino and then Neji. Hinata and Neji you will be both in the rear so that when I need you guys to scan the perimeter you will use your Byakugan. Sasuke you will change into a replica of the boy. Here is the way we will travel: We will travel on the path less taken and start to set traps and the second group will go on the normal path and act as if you are just plainly escorting. Should something go wrong or anything one of you send off a blast of chakra. We will regroup every night and leave at dawn, do you all understand?"looked at her and nodded. She nodded back as a sign to move out. Each went to their group and the formation. stated, "You never told us where we were taking the boy."replied, "To the Sand Country. Haven't you all noticed the small resemblance the boy has to Gaara of the Desert."all stopped dead in their tracks. Now that they realize it, he does look like him.is Gaara's younger step brother. Although I doubt Gaara cares about him, The others in the Hidden Sand Village have been gnawing at the chance to start something with the Hidden Leaf Village. I know that we will have visitors soon. No doubt about it." Ceres said.soon came and they had met up as planned. Nothing happened during the day. Ceres sent out a few to gather essentials for the night. The all slept around the camp fire. Ceres sat awake in the tree overlook them all. The wind blew and a chill was sent through her body. said to herself outloud, "So, they will be here sooner than expected." closed her eyes and smiled a smile that would even rival Gaara's when he had the rush and desire to kill but it was hidden behind the mask. Hinata woke up with a start. She was dreaming of a dream that always came back at the weirdest nights since the fight with Neji and that was years ago. The pain of knowing that he could have killed her and intended to sent her over the edge that she always cried herself back to sleep. Ceres looked down at the Hyuuga girl. She could see all the emotions that were in those silver eyes. So much emotion, that it sickened Ceres to no end. People's pain was her thrill. Hell, she had a demon inside her that took over her, so all she ever felt was pain, anger, and all the negative emotions. She had murderous intentions. She looked back to the girl that started bawling. She jumped down silently and landed beside her. She raised Hinata's chin up to her so that she could look into the eyes that were filled with much emotion. Ceres removed her mask and set it next to her, with that came her hood. Hinata's eyes widened as she looked upon the beauty that was Ceres. Cere's eyes began to change and Hinata became entranced and fell into a deep sleep. Ceres closed her eyes and shielded her face once again with the mask that was an extra defense mechanism. Once again she leapt up into the tree she had been occupying moments before. The sun soon rose and dawn had befallen them so quickly. They parted once more and headed to the Wind Country. Hours passed and still there was sign of danger or anything. Since there was nothing that had alerted them, Ceres decided it was time to move more hastily. Unbeknownst to them someone was watching them intently. Nightfall came again and they all rested up. Ceres told them she was going to go wash up and get some firewood. She left them all together and headed to the stream that she knew was close. She took off her mask and stared at her reflection. How she hated this and everything that came with it. She closed her eyes and punched at the water. Ripples spread out and she once again glanced at the water. Another reflection shown. She had been careless and let her guard slip up. She did a round house kick and her leg was caught by her opponent. He threw her against the tree closest to them. He held her throat tightly. Green eyes stared at her with a deadly look. Sand began to cover her body. he expected her to beg him to stop to ask for mercy. No, this girl didn't, wait, not girl, but woman. He could tell by her curves that she was no girl. A defiant woman who stood up to him, who also returned the murderous look. No words were needed. Their eyes said it all. Sand still crept up her. She brought her leg up and kneed him in the side, then kicked him away. Ceres pulled out a kunai and charged him. Sand began to form a shield. It was too slow though to protect him from her blow. She sped up with inhuman speed and was caught inside his shield. She sliced at him and made a deep gash along his chest. Gaara looked down at the blood that spilled from the wound. He sent his hand flying at her that it caught her by surprise. Once again he gripped her necksaid viciously, "No one has ever been able to mark me like you have or been able to get inside my shield." said sacastically, "There's always a first for everything."growled. Annoyed with the fact that this woman was getting under his skin. No one has been able to do that. He leaned forward but was attacked by the scent she gave off. It was that of sweet pea. Gaara inhaled once more. The shield melting away from them. He launched her to the side and vanished quickly. Ceres was regaining her breath. She thought, 'What was that? Why did he stop?' Ceres walked over to the water and washed the blood off and replaced her face with the mask. She returned to her comrades. A few weeks had passed and they still hadn't reached their destination. No real attacks happened. Especially by Gaara. Over the few weeks, everyone was slowly learning more about the hunter-nin. The girls all decided that they were going to bathe at the spring Hinata had found. The boys waited patiently at the camp site.will you tell us about yourself? We know practically nothing of you." asked Sakura.replied, "Very well Sakura-chan, my name is not Ceres, but is Fiori."removed her mask and hood. She had almost shoulder length hair that was silver with black on bottom and two red strands of hair beside her silver bangs. She had beautiful onyx eyes that held a mystery about them. Her skin was a silk milky color. Perfect. That would be the word that you would describe Fiori. Her body was shaped wonderfully, There were no flaws to her. Any man would be lucky to have her.said, "Sorry if it confuses you but call me Fiori for now on. Ceres was my mother's name." asked, "Do you mind if we ask some questions?"ahead but some questions I will not tell you the answers for you will know soon enough." commented Fiori.do you always wear the mask? Are you a real hunter-nin?" asked Hinata boldly.answered, "It keeps my identity secret. I was a hunter-nin but I asked to be a normal jounin again. I keep the mask to hid away and to conceal everything. Its a defense mechanism and a great battle tatic because an enemy can tell by your emotions."asked, "Do you have someone you would protect or even die for?"smiled, "Yes, I love him but I don't love him the way I would a partner or lover. I would go as far as going shinobi to protect his dreams and make sure them become a reality."asked, "Who is it?"father. Well, that's enough questions for right now. Lets head back to the boys." Fiori said. girls redressed themselves and headed back to the boys. Fiori explained to the boys what she had explained to the boys. Shikamaru thought it all to be troublesome. Fiori had them all turn in early so that they can get an even earlier start the next day. She joined the others on the floor of the forest. She looked up from her position on the ground and saw the one person she wished she hadn't seen right now...

Yes, I know I used a qoute from Rurouni Kenshin, I think it fits well, and also used the name Fiori from the Sailor Moon Movie. Its such a pretty name though ^.^
