This was it. The betting window was closed and the arena was filled with many people waiting to see the Hyuga vs. Uzumaki match. No, it wasn't Naruto vs. Neji, but Neji vs. Hinata. Neji was in the back, thinking about how the fight will turn out. Just then, Hanabi arrived. “What do you want?” asked Neji.

“I want you to apologize to Hinata, like you said!” she said.

“It's too late, I got to fight her and defeat her.”

“Apologize to her or I'll tell everybody that you shave your legs!”

“Huh? How did you know?” asked Neji. Hanabi stared at her in disbelief. “I was just saying random stuff. I didn't know that was true,” she admitted. Neji was embarrassed at that point. “Oh crap, now she knows my secret!” he thought.

“Maybe I should tell Tenten,” said Hanabi.

“No, don't tell her!” he pleaded.

“And why not?”

“Because….I…well…” Hanabi then started cracking up. “No…way,” she said, talking between laughs. “You…Neji Hyuga…is in love with Tenten?” Neji then ran off, angrily. “Stupid,” he scowled.

Meanwhile, Hinata was fired up. It was time to get back at Neji for all the abuse she has taken. Hinata wasn't the shy and timid girl she used to be, she could almost be considered a heartless demon. “This is it Neji Hyuga!” said Hinata. “Today, you die!” Her so-called manager, her boyfriend Naruto Uzumaki was there. “Are you ready?” he asked. Hinata nodded. “I'll make sure that everybody knows the name “Hinata Uzumaki”!

In the middle of the arena, Konohamaru was dressed like an announcer. “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, are you ready to rumble!” he shouted. Many people were cheering and shouting. Some were even holding signs, like this was some big wrestling match. “In the blue corner, from Konoha village, weighing in at 38.2 kg, Hinata Uzumaki!” Konohamaru shouted. Hinata then stepped out with an angry look on her face. Mostly everybody was cheering “Hinata! Hinata! Hinata!” Hiashi was sitting in a private skybox with Hanabi. “And in the red corner, from Konoha village, weighting in at 46.8 kg, Neji Hyuga!” Neji came out and then everybody started booing. Some even had the nerve to throw food at him.

“Boo!”

“You suck!'

“You're going to get your ass kicked!”

“Punk bitch!” Neji just shrugged them off. Both Hinata and Neji took their places in the center of the arena. The referee then got besides them. “Okay, you know the rules. You may begin at anytime.” Neji and Hinata stared each other down. “Neji,” said Hinata. “Before we begin, I just want you to do something for me.” Neji listened on. “Forfeit the match!” Neji was shocked at what she demanded. “Let's face it. I know your true feelings. You are scared to death. You are scared of me, Hinata Uzumaki, because you know that you don't want me to break your neck! You want to back out. But you couldn't, because Guy didn't want you to quit. You are easily convinced by others to do their bidding.”

“You don't understand!” said Neji.

“Shut the HELL up!” Hinata yelled, silencing everybody in the arena. “Back at the Chunin exams, you showed me that you were suffering. I told you that you were the one who was suffering. It must have been true or else you wouldn't have tried to kill me.”

Everybody was surprised. “Whoa,” said Asuma. “What's going on, it's like Neji and Hinata switched personalities. Neji's the scared little girl and Hinata's the one putting him down.”

“Neji, don't kid yourself. Just forfeit the match!”

“Hinata,” said Neji. “I just want to say that I'm sorry.” Everybody was shocked, even Hinata. “You what?” she asked.

“You heard me, I'm sorry,” he said. “I have also treated you like crap and uncle Hiashi was even worse. I just want to change my ways as a cousin to you.” Everybody then looked at Hinata, waiting for her answer. “Neji, do you know that a leopard can't change its spots? Well, the same here. You can't just change your ways no matter how hard you try! You have failed as a cousin and once a failure always a failure!” she said.

“Where the hell did you get that from?” asked Neji.

“From you,” said Hinata. “You said it yourself, people can never change. They are who they are. And you…are nothing but a heartless human being.”

“NO HE ISN'T!” yelled Tenten. Everybody then stared at her. “What are you doing, Tenten?” asked Lee.

“You're wrong, Hinata! Neji's not some heartless human being. He is a wonderful man who is much stronger than you. You have no right to put you down! Do you think that acting like Neji will solve your problems?” Tenten yelled.

“It'll help,” replied Hinata. “Why do you even care about Neji anyway?”

“Because…because…I….because…I&# 8230;I love him!” Tenten yelled. Everybody stood there in surprise, even Neji. “It's true,” she said. “I love you! I love you a lot! I have secret dreams about you! I just can't get you out of my head! I love you Neji Hyuga!”

“You're wasting your time, Tenten,” said Hinata. “Neji doesn't know the first thing about love!”

“Oh Tenten, I love you too!” Neji yelled back, amazing everybody again.

“Liar!” said Hinata.

“And that's why…I won't back out… (performs hands signs)…Byakugan!” Neji then turned on his Byakugan eyes. “So you won't back out?” asked Hinata.

“Not when there is somebody who supports me!” he said.

“Okay.” Hinata then took her stance. Neji noticed something. “Hey wait,” said Neji. “Aren't you going to use the Byakugan?”

“That's something only a Hyuga would use! I'm an Uzumaki, and I will fight like an Uzumaki!” she exclaimed.

After another stare-down, both of them charged at each other. The crowd went wild as Hinata made the first move. Both of them used high-speed taijutsu, counterattacking and reversing their every move. Hinata backed off to catch her breath. “Wow, Neji is still stronger than me! But I can't give up!” she thought. She then put up her fingers to her face. “Sorry Naruto, but I need to use this move now!” She then performed some hand signals. “What, she's using that already?” asked Naruto.

“Using what?” asked Sakura.

“You'll see,” said Naruto. Neji charged at Hinata like an angry bull. Hinata then disappeared in front of him. “Where did she go?” he asked. He looked around when…bam! Hinata kicked him in his face similar to how Rock Lee sent Sasuke in the air (when they were fighting). “Why is everybody using my move?” asked Lee. While Neji was still in the air, Hinata jumped up and got behind him, lying down. “What kind of move is this?” asked Neji. “You should know,” said Hinata. “Lee used it to beat you!” She then put two fingers on his back and then she unleashed a fury of…pokes. She was sending a blast of chakra through every one of Neji's chakra points. She then kicked him back down to the ground. “This is the end! GENTLE FIST BARRAGE!” she shouted, as she slammed her foot into Neji's heart, slamming him to the ground. Both Neji and Hinata got up. Both were ready to attack each other when…ding! That was the end of round one. Hinata and Neji both got into their corners to help themselves. Naruto and Kurenai helped out Hinata while Guy and Tenten helped out Neji.

Kurenai was cleaning up her wounds while Naruto was giving her advice. “Okay Hinata, you're doing well so far. I didn't really expect for you to use the move that early.”

“I had to Naruto.”

“Well, anyway…just keep him guessing and show him no mercy!”

Meanwhile, Neji was being patched up. “Good god, Neji! You're not doing too well. That new move of hers may have caused some damage.”

“My heart…it hurts. And it's not because of Tenten.”

“It's okay Neji, don't let Hinata get to you! You can still win this fight!” Neji couldn't but help but smile at Tenten, and she couldn't help but to smile back.

Over at Hinata's corner, Hiashi then showed up. “Excuse me,” he said.

“Get out of here! Hinata doesn't need you to put her down!” yelled Naruto. Hiashi just ignored him. “Hinata, I want you to know…that…I hope that you win,” he said. Hinata, Naruto, and Kurenai were shocked. “Wow Mr. Hyuga, you're a very good liar!” said Naruto. Hiashi just hit him in the head. “Be silent, Naruto!” he yelled.

“What, no damned fox demon?” asked Kurenai.

“Naruto Uzumaki is Hinata's boyfriend. I should respect that. I have no right to choose who Hinata loves. That is her choice.” Hinata was just staring at him. “Father…I…”

“Hinata, I am sorry for the way I have treated you over the last years, and I want to make it up to you. So, will you please move back in?”

“Father…I…forgive you, but…I still want…to live with Naruto,” she softly. Hiashi smiled. “Well, I knew that I wouldn't be able to force you back into our house, but…promise me that you will defeat Neji,” said Hiashi.

“I promise father,” said Hinata.

In the next round, Neji and Hinata continued the fight. This time Hinata was fighting “Hyuga-style”. One thing confused Hiashi about the way Hinata was fighting. “I don't get,” he said. “Why isn't Hinata using the Byakugan?”

“Because the damage has already been done,” said Naruto.

“What do you mean?”

“You'll see,” said Naruto. Neji and Hinata were again counterattacking and reversing each other's moves. Then, both Hinata and Neji struck each other's hearts. “Alright Hinata!” said Naruto. Then, Hinata fell to the floor and cough up something red from her mouth. Everyone thought it was blood. “Uh oh, this can't be good,” said Kakashi.

“If this keeps up, it will end up like the Chunin exams,” said Kurenai.

“Yeah! Go Hinata!” shouted Naruto. Hiashi then whacked his head. “You fool! Hinata's coughing up blood!”

“That's what she wants to think,” said Naruto.

Neji then lowered to her position. “I tired to apologize but you leave me no choice!” he said. Hinata then started laughing. “You fool…”she whispered. She then sends a powerful blast of chakra to Neji's heart, making him cough up blood. “How…What about…you?” asked Neji, still coughing up blood. Hinata then spit out a couple of ketchup packs. So the blood that Hinata coughed up was actually just ketchup. “You see, when I did my gentle fist barrage, I was merely halting your chakra flow,” she explained.

“But that was just a bunch of pokes,” said Neji.

“I was poking at your chakra points!” said Hinata.

“So that's why you didn't use the Byakugan!”

“That's right, and now you can't use anymore jutsu! No palm rotation and all that crap!”

The fight continued with Hinata again beating the crap out of a defenseless Neji. He coughed up more blood from his mouth. The beating was very similar to the one that broke Neji's arm. To many people, she looked terrifying. “Father, Hinata's starting to scare me!” said Hanabi, clinging to Hiashi's arm.

“It's okay Hanabi, Hinata won't kill you,” said Hiashi. “I never knew she hated Neji that much!” Hinata then backed off from Neji's senseless beating. Neji fell to the floor in a bloody mess. He was unconscious. “Now…to end your life!” she said. She then put her hands in a jutsu. In case you didn't know, Neji has a curse mark where his headband is. He got it because he is only a cadet branch to the Hyuga clan. Hinata is part of the main branch; therefore she knows how to kill Neji. The main branch knows a jutsu to kill anyone in the cadet branch. Hinata is from the main branch and Neji is from the cadet branch. Hinata put up the hand signs, which scared a lot of people, especially Hiashi. “Hinata, what are you doing? Using that will kill Neji!” The senseis sensed danger. Kakashi, Kurenai, Asuma, and Guy have seen enough of what's happening and hold Hinata back. “Enough of this, Hinata!” Kurenai yelled. “Look at you! You're acting like Neji! Well, you want to act like him? Well then, we'll hold you back like him.” All of the senseis then noticed a light dark aura around Hinata. “Oh no, not again!” said Hinata.

“Uhhhh…Hinata,” said Kakashi. “Are you alright?” Many people were getting worried about the purple dark aura circling around Hinata. “Please, let go of me!” she cried.

“Why?” asked Guy. “So that you can kill Neji?”

“I…have…warned you,” she said. Her eyes then turned red, frightening a lot of people. She started growling, and her fingernails turned into claws. “This isn't good,” said Hiashi. “Her inner demon is invading her.” No, Hinata doesn't have an actual demon inside of her (like Gaara or Naruto). The demon she has is more like a mental demon. Throughout the last few years, anytime Hinata has thought about anger or revenge, they were simply “locked up” inside her mind. After being tired of being ignored, the demon broke free from her mental cell. She was now invading Hinata's mind.

“Let me go!” Hinata growled.

“What?” asked Kurenai.

“I said….LET GO OF ME!” Hinata then send a shockwave of chakra, causing the senseis to fly back and knock them unconscious. Everybody was really scared to hold her back. “What's happening?” asked Naruto. Hinata got close to Neji, who was trying to get up. Hinata just kicked him back to the ground. “I have always wanted to do this!” she growled. She then put her fingers up, ready to kill Neji with a simple jutsu. Tenten was watching in fear. “That's it!” she thought. “I can't take this anymore!” Tenten then jumped the rails. “Tenten, what are you doing?” asked Lee. He then turned to Guy. “Guy-sensei, wake up!”

Tenten then got between Hinata and Neji. “SSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPP!” she yelled. Hinata then started putting her hands down. She looked as Tenten covered Neji's body, crying her heart out. “Please,” she sobbed. “Don't kill him.”

“Honestly,” said Hinata. “What do you…”

“He said he was sorry, damn it! Isn't that enough?” Hinata then thought about it. “Do you really like Neji?” she asked.

“I love him,” said Tenten.

“Okay…you can't die with him,” Hinata replied. Everybody was shocked. Hinata was ready to do the jutsu, but then she stopped. She looked at everybody around her. Most of them were scared to death, especially Naruto, Hanabi, and Choji. Then, she looked at the senseis. The only one waking up was Kakashi. She looked at her hands. “What…what…did I become?” she thought. She looked up to find Naruto. Naruto wasted no time, he grabbed Hinata's shoulders. “Come on Hinata,” he yelled. “I know about your `mental demon'. It's now time to fight it back! Come on, Hinata! I had to live with the fox demon for 16 years! You can hold your demon back!” For Naruto's sake, Hinata entered her mind and defeated the demon within her mind.

After that, she fell into Naruto's arms. She was ready to cry out of fear. “Its okay, Hinata,” he said, trying to comfort her.

“Oh Naruto,” she said. “I was so scared at what I become. I wanted to change, but not like this!”

“It's okay. The dark Hinata is gone. She's not coming back.”

“I just couldn't do it. I couldn't hurt another person, no matter how much they hurt me.” She then noticed Neji finally getting to his feet, with Tenten's help. “Neji,” she said softly. Neji backed away in fear of her. “It's okay, cousin Neji. I won't hurt you. I just want to say I forgive you and I'm sorry for beating you up.”

“No Lady Hinata,” he said, weakly. “I'm the one who shouldn't apologize. I have always said that you may never change yourself. After today's fight, you did more than enough to prove me wrong. I would...hug you, but…right now…I need a medic team.” Neji then fell to the floor again, scaring Tenten. “Oh my god, Neji!” she yelped.

“Quick! Get him to a hospital and hurry!” said one of the medics.

The next day was a new life for Konoha village. Hinata was living with Naruto, she has made peace with Hiashi and Neji, and best of all Neji, Sasuke, and Shikamaru all got a new girlfriends. “Hey Sasuke,” said Naruto. “Want to do a practice fight?”

“I can't. Me and Sakura are going into the hot springs,” he said.

“And…Sakura is okay with it?”

“Okay with it? Naruto, you're such an idiot!” sighed Sakura.

Meanwhile, Shikamaru and Ino were going to their new secret spot (Choji knows where the old one was). They were playing volleyball with each other. Well, Ino got a little too competitive and hit the ball too hard. “Oh my god, I'm sorry Shikamaru!” she said. “Is there anything I can do to help?”

“Well…you can take your top off,” said Shikamaru. Ino then slapped him. “Shikamaru, you are such a pervert!”

“Oh come on,” said Shikamaru. “Don't make me do it.”

“Do what?” asked Ino. Shikamaru then put up a hand sign. “Ninja Arts: Shadow Possession…”

“Shikamaru, don't even think about it!”

“If you would have done it in the first place, I wouldn't have to resort to this!”

At the hospital, Tenten was at Neji's side while he recovered from his injuries. “Hey Tenten,” said Neji. While Tenten was peeling an apple, Neji put his hand out and took Tenten's brands off. “What are you doing?” she asked.

“Come on. Beautiful hair doesn't have to be wrapped up for me,” said Neji. He then started playing with her long, smooth, shiny hair. Neji and Tenten couldn't help but share a passionate kiss. “I love you Tenten,” he said.

“I love you too, Neji,” she said. “And I love how you shave your legs. It makes them smoother.” Neji then backed up a bit. “Who told you that?” he asked frantically.

“Hanabi told me,” said Tenten. Neji was furious again, but he then calmed down. “Oh well,” he sighed.

“Don't worry, I won't tell anybody,” she said.

At the end of the night, Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga-Uzumaki (yes, she kept her old last name) went back to Naruto's house for dinner. “Isn't it great Naruto?” she asked. “We can now be together without Hiashi or Neji trying to kill you.”

“Yeah, life is good sometimes,” said Naruto.
