Hinata decided to call it a day and everyone gathered in the living room except Sasuke because he had already left. “Neiji, Shikamaru, and Naruto, I would like to thank you for coming today and helping us with moving. Please tell this to Sasuke as well.”
Neiji nodded. “It was really no problem.”
“I wish there was something we could do to repay you guys for all of your hard work,” Ten-Ten said.
“Hey. I know,” Ino began. “Why don't you guys come over for a party once we finish unpacking?”
“Sounds like fun,” Shikamaru said.
“Hm?” Ino said surprised. “It's not too troublesome for you?” she mocked.
Every one chuckled. “Well count me in,” Naruto said excited. “I'm always up for a party!”
Hinata giggled.
“Sounds good,” Neiji added. “Just give us a call at our house when you decide on a date.”
“You guys live together too?” Ten-Ten asked.
Neiji nodded. “Yeah, but our place is not as big as yours, that's for sure. Well be better get going. See you girls soon.”
Hinata hugged her cousin smiling. “Yes. See you guys soon. Thank you again. Oh! And please tell Sasuke that he is invited to the party as well.”
“Will do,” Shikamaru said.
“Bye!” Naruto said.
The girls nodded and watched as they left. Sakura sighed and they all turned towards her. “I hate parties.”
“Why do you always have to be such a downer,” Ino said annoyed. “Just enjoy yourself for a change.”
“Whatever. I have things to unpack.” She retired to her room.
Ten-Ten sighed. “Sometimes she just ticks me off.”
“Seriously.” Ino agreed
“Don't mind her,” Hinata said. “You know how she is. Let's just let her be. Besides, I think it's time we had a little girl talk. What do you all think of the guys? Personally, I think Naruto is cute.” She blushed.
“Oooo!” Ino said. “Is someone getting a little crush?” She teased.
Hinata blushed and wringed her hands behind her back.
“Leave her alone,” Ten-Ten said. “I think it's cute. Now we definitely have to get the boys back over here. Besides, I think I'm taking a liking to Neiji myself.”
“Well since we are all confessing, I think Shikamaru is kind of cute,” Ino said.
Since the girls had been friends for so long, it was easy to tell each other their secrets. It was hard to keep anything from each other. They giggled.
“Hey…do you think Sakura has a thing for Sasuke?” Ino asked.
Hinata and Ten-Ten just stared at her as if she had two heads or something. “Yeah right,” Ten-Ten said. “There's no way. Sakura isn't the kind of girl to start liking or even get a crush on a guy! She's just too anti-social!”
“Ten-Ten! Don't say that about Sakura,” Hinata said trying to defend her friend. “She may not seem like the most social person, but anti-social is going a bit too far. We have all been through a lot. Sakura more than us. So she has every right to act the way she does.”
“Don't you think I know that, Hinata?” Ten-Ten said with a hint of anger in her voice. “You say that like I forgot or something! Well I haven't!”
“Alright, girls!” Ino stopped them. “That's enough! We don't need to be fighting right now. So let's just drop it. None of us want to talk about it anyway. Let's just continue unpacking. The quicker we finish, the sooner we get to see the boys again.” She smiled as did the other girls. They nodded in agreement and headed to their rooms.

Sakura was listening to them with her ear pressed to her door. When she heard them going to their own rooms, she slid down to the floor. She sighed. “Am I really that unapproachable? I guess I do act stand-offish sometimes and I was rude to Sasuke...but I did apologize. And what is so unbelievable about me liking someone?!” She sighed heavier this time and arched her neck so her head could lean against her door. “Maybe they are right. Too many things have happened. To all of us. I don't know if I can trust anyone other than them anymore.” She closed her eyes. “I have to be strong. For me and for all of us,” she said to herself.

The four girls were in the shopping center of town to buy food and other things they felt that they would need. They split up into pairs, each with a list of things they needed. Hinata and Ino were in a food market while Sakura and Ten-Ten were in a general store.
“Let's start in the first isle and continue from there,” Ino said as she grabbed a shopping cart. They entered the store and went to the first isle.
“I'm excited for the party,” Hinata said as she picked up a bag of chips and placed it in the cart.
Ino smiled slyly. “Yeah because you get to see Naruto.”
“N-no.” Hinata blushed.
“Aw. Come on. I'm just kidding with you. If it makes you feel any better, I'm excited to see Shikamaru myself.”
Hinata smiled and nodded at her friend. “I can't believe how much more work we still have to do though. It seems like it's going to take forever to finish moving in.” She grabbed some dip and also placed that into the cart.
“Seriously, but I'm just glad that we have a chance to start over. Moving will really help us all,” Ino said as she observed the back of a ketchup bottle before adding that to the cart.
“I agree.” Hinata sighed. “A chance to start over...” She grinned at that fact. “I never thought that we would have a chance to do that.”
Ino smiled. “Well we finally did it. We got away. Everything will be better from here on out.”
Hinata nodded and then changed the subject. “You know what we need? Chocolate,” she said without waiting for Ino to reply.
“Oh, yes! We can't survive without that!”
They giggled and went to retrieve some. As they were walking they saw Naruto and Shikamaru pass the isle they were currently in. They both picked up their pace as they followed them around the isle. The two boys were in the junk food isle.
“Hey guys,” Ino said.
They turned to them and smiled. “Hey there,” Shikamaru said. “How is moving going?”
“Troublesome,” Ino said mimicking Shikamaru.
They laughed. “How are you, Naruto,” Hinata asked shyly.
“I'm doing well, but we ran out of ramen. I love ramen!” His voice held excitement at the mention of ramen.
Hinata giggled. “Yeah. I like ramen too.”
“Really?” Naruto boomed. “I think it's the greatest!!”
“You're so loud, Naruto.” Shikamaru said lazily. “So what are you girls shopping for today?”
“Just food for the house and the party,” Ino replied. “We can't wait for it.”
“Us too,” Naruto said.
“Well, we have a lot more to get,” Hinata said. “We'll see you soon.”
“Can't wait,” Shikamaru said mostly to Ino making her blush a bit.
“Bye,” Naruto said. Then they walked off.
Ino and Hinata waited until they were gone before giggling happily.

Sakura and Ten-Ten each took a basket and began to pick up things they needed including feminine products, shampoo, and soaps for showering. “Hey,” Ten-Ten started. “We have a lot more to get so why don't we split up?”
“Okay. Sounds good. I'll start at the other end and we'll meet up.”
Ten-Ten nodded. “Good idea. You know what to get, right?”
Sakura nodded and headed to the other side of the stored while Ten-Ten continued to shop from where she was now.
“Ten-Ten!”
She turned to the sound of a familiar voice and smiled. “Hello, Neiji. How are you?”
“I'm fine and you?”
“I'm doing well too.”
“So are you out shopping alone?”
“No. Sakura is with me, but we decided to split up and get more shopping done faster.”
“Allow me to accompany you then?”
Ten-Ten nodded and they continued down an isle. “So what are you shopping for?”
“Nothing in particular. Just the average everyday things.”
“Us too. Ino and Hinata are out shopping for food as well.”
“So how is moving going?”
“Well. We expect to be done in a couple days.”
“Yeah? That's good. And are you still planning on throwing the party?”
“Of course. We are all excited for it.”
Neiji smiled and Ten-Ten blushed slightly. “He has a good smile.”
“Is she blushing? She's kind of cute when she does.”
They continued and soon they bumped into Sakura who had finished. “Oh. Hello, Neiji.”
“Hello, Sakura. How are you?”
“Fine and you?”
“I'm doing well, too.”
“I'm going to go pay, Ten-Ten.”
“Alright. I have a few more things to pick up so I'll meet you outside.”
Sakura nodded and went to the nearest check-out line with the fewest people. She paid for her things and then sat on a bench outside as she waited for Ten-Ten. She placed the bag next to her and sighed. She watched as people passed and talked to try and pass the time not noticing that Sasuke had sat down next to her.
“Sakura?”
She snapped out of her daze and turned to him. “Oh. Sorry. I didn't notice you there.”
“It's fine. So why are you here?”
“Just waiting for Ten-Ten. Neiji is inside.”
“I'm waiting for him too. He had to buy a few things so I've been walking around trying to pass the time.”
“I see.” There was an awkward silence for a moment before Sakura decided to break it. “Hey, sorry I acted the way I did the other day. I was just having a bad day, I guess.”
Sasuke shook his head. “It's fine.”
Once again the silence crept up on them. This time Sasuke broke it. “So about the party, I don't think that I'm going to make it.”
“No?”
“I have other plans.”
“Really? Well how do you know what day we are having it on? We don't even know yet.”
Sasuke sighed. “I'll just have plans.”
“Whatever,” Sakura said a little ticked off. “Didn't want you there anyway.”
“Oh really? Sounds to me that you're just disappointed that I won't be there.”
“Don't flatter yourself, asshole.”
“I wasn't. Cold-hearted bitches aren't my type anyway.”
Sakura growled and stood. “What is your problem?! You know what?! I don't care if you come! Jackasses aren't invited anyway!”
Sasuke smirked. “You're a little bit touchy, aren't you?”
“What do you expect?! You just called me a cold-hearted bitch, when you don't even know me! What gives you the right anyway?!”
“Well the same right that allowed you to call me an asshole and a jackass.”
Sakura sighed aggravated. “I'm just going to go. Tell Ten-Ten I left already, if it's not too much trouble for you.” Sakura turned not waiting to hear his reply. As she walked she wondered how their conversation had taken such a bad turn. She shrugged it off and headed home.

All of the girls worked hard for the next couple of days. Every thing was finally finished and all the rooms were furnished. The guys would be over later that night and they were busy preparing for the party. They were rushing around trying to get drinks and snacks put out and also pick some music.
“Sakura!!!” Ino yelled. “Get your ass out here and help us!! They will be here soon!!”
“I'm going out tonight,” she said emerging from her room.
“What do you mean `you're going out-” Ten-Ten and the others stopped and stared at her.
Sakura wore a tight, black leather, mini-skirt and a fitted white tank that exposed her stomach. She also wore knee-high boots with tall heels and bracelets hung on her wrists. Her eye makeup was heavy and dark and her hair was pulled back in a messy bun with strands falling around her face. “I said I'm going out tonight.”
“You have to stop doing this,” Hinata said with worry in her voice.
“Stop what?” she retorted. “I'm just going out to have a good time. Is there something wrong with that? I have a lot on my mind.”
“You can have fun here!” Ino said. “The guys are coming over and we were all going to chill and relax.”
“Then enjoy yourselves. I'm not interested.”
“Please, Sakura!” Ten-Ten pleaded. “Stay.”
“No,” she said coldly and left.
Hinata sighed. “I'm worried. I thought that she wouldn't go out anymore once we moved. But it hasn't stopped her at all.”
“Don't worry, Hinata,” Ten-Ten said. “She'll be okay. This is how she copes with her past. We just need to give her space and maybe she'll find a better way to cope with her problems. Like us.”
“It's not okay, Ten-Ten,” Ino started. “She can't keep going out like that. She puts herself in danger. We can't just give her space! This has to stop!”
Just then the door bell rang. “We'll continue this later,” Ten-Ten said as she headed for the door to answer it. Ino and Hinata heard the boys and then their foot steps heading to the living room.
Hinata and Ino put on a smile as the four boys entered the room. They smiled back.
“Hey do you guys have ramen?” Naruto asked suddenly.
Everyone stared at him and then Hinata giggled. “Yes. Would you like some?”
Naruto nodded and Hinata smiled. “Alright. Coming right up.” She disappeared into the kitchen.
“Sit down guys,” Ten-Ten said. “Make yourselves comfortable.”
They nodded and sat down on the various couches and chairs. “Where is Sakura?” Neiji asked.
“She's not home,” Ten-Ten said looking down. “She went out.”
“Did she know we were coming tonight?” Naruto asked.
“Yes,” Ino replied. “She just doesn't like parties that much.”
“Well then I'm leaving too!” Sasuke said. “If she doesn't need to be here then neither do I.”
“What's going on?” Hinata asked as she emerged from the kitchen with a bowl of ramen in her hand. She walked over to Naruto and handed to him. “Here you go.”
He took it from her smiling. “Thanks!”
Hinata nodded and then looked around the room at everyone for an answer. “Well?” You could tell by the tension that something was wrong.
Ten-Ten sighed. “Wait, Sasuke. Listen guys, there are some things you should know about us.” She looked at Hinata and Ino for support and they hesitantly nodded.
“What's wrong Hinata?” Neiji asked concerned.
“There are some things you don't know, Neiji,” Hinata said. “Things that happened to me, to us.”
“Well?” Shikamaru asked. “Are you going to tell us or not?”
Ino started…
