The drive to Sakura's house seemed to take an eternity to Sasuke. He planed what he would say to her when he finally got there. He would say `I'm sorry for leaving you like that. I just didn't want things to go too far so fast. I know you must be really hurt, but please forgive me.' He would be calm and collected.

Pulling into her driveway, he parked his car and took a deep breath before stepping out of his car. He went to the door and knocked on it. No answer. He found the door was open and went in. “Why didn't she answer? And why was her door unlocked?”

“Sakura?” There was no answer. He became worried and hurried up the stairs to her room. She wasn't there. Her bed didn't even look like it was slept in. He looked all around upstairs, but she wasn't there. So he hurried downstairs and into the living room.

There she was. Against the wall, asleep. He took a sigh of relief. Her face was tear stained and looking at her yanked at his heart. He gingerly picked her up, careful not to wake her. He carried her upstairs and into her room where he placed her on her bed. She was still asleep. “She must have been up late last night...”

Sasuke went to her dresser and pulled out some pajamas. He sat her up and pulled her halter top over her head. She wore no bra and Sasuke tried his best not to stare. He pulled her tee-shirt down over her head and her arms through the sleeves. She stirred slightly and fell against him. He smiled and moved behind her so that she could rest against his chest. He pulled her skirt off and slid her pants on. He was surprised that she didn't wake up. He wrapped his arms around her and his hands rested on her stomach. He kissed her temple and closed his eyes himself.

“So what?!” Ino said crossing her arms. “She did what she did and it affected us all. I don't give two shits why she did it. We were perfectly fine without going to the cops.”

“No offense to Sasuke or anything,” Neji started, “but I'm with Ino on this one. It's hard to forgive someone who only thinks about themselves.”

“That's just it!” Naruto said. “She doesn't just think of herself! We all misjudged her and I don't think Sasuke would just say those things because he likes her! It may be hard, but we all need to realize our mistakes!”

Hinata smiled and took Naruto's hand. “I…think…we should at least hear her out.”

Naruto smiled down at her and she smiled back.

“You're just taking his side because you like him!” Ino said. “I'm not going to waste my time crawling back to someone who ruined this! Our lives away from them! She ruined it! You think that they are just going to let us go now! They're going to come for us, you know!”
Shikamaru took her uninjured arm. “We need to talk,” he said sternly pulling her from the room.
“What about you, Ten-Ten?” Neji asked. He looked over at her when she didn't answer and found tears rolling down her cheeks. “What's wrong?”

“Sakura…How could we be so brutal? She always protected us…She wanted to protect us this time too. We took everything she has done for us for granted. True, it was an unfortunate outcome, but she did this for us. We let our rage cloud our sense. She would always take the blame for us. Compared to her, we had an easy childhood.”

Neji hugged her. “I'm sorry, Ten-Ten.”

“For what?”

“I can't…forgive her…” He moved away from her and stood off the bed.

Ten-Ten, Hinata, and Naruto looked at him stunned. “Neji!” Naruto said angrily. “What is your problem?! I can't believe you!”
“Why not?! I can choose who I want to forgive! So what if she did this for them! It did nothing in the end, except for getting everyone hurt!” He glanced back at Ten-Ten.

“It's not that you can't forgive her, it's that you don't want to right? And you don't want to because you don't want to see Ten-Ten hurt again.” Naruto hit the nail on the head with his statement.

“Don't you want to protect Hinata?”

“He does,” Hinata started. “But not forgiving someone who is a sister to me would hurt me. Sakura is apart of our family. She may have done something stupid, but everyone does stupid things once in a while.” Hinata smiled. “If you don't want to hurt Ten-Ten anymore than she already is then forgive and accept Sakura back into our lives.”

Neji turned back to Ten-Ten for an answer. She nodded to him smiling. “We…should visit her then…”

“You big softie!” Naruto teased.

“Shut it, Naruto!”

They laughed and waited for Shikamaru and Ino, praying he was getting through to her.

“Ino. Tell me what exactly is bothering you?” Shikamaru said. “I know you're mad at Sakura, but if Ten-Ten and Hinata can forgive, why can't you?”

“I'm not Ten-Ten nor am I Hinata.”

Shikamaru sighed. “I know you're scared.”

Ino stiffened at his words and turned her back to him. “What do you know!?”

“In the room, you said that they were going to come for you guys. Any security you had here is gone. You feel vulnerable. Correct?” Ino didn't answer. “You're even more scared now, but you know what?” He put a hand on her shoulder. “I can be your security. If you rely on me, I'll be all the safety you'll need.”

Ino hugged him. “I don't want to be alone…They might take me again.”

Shikamaru hugged her back. “You never were alone and you never will be. Now, why don't we go pay a visit to our friends?”

Ino nodded. “Yes. Let's go see them. Let's all be a family again.”

Sakura stirred. She felt warmth all around her and it seemed to ease her heart. She didn't know the warmth was coming from Sasuke who was now awake and looking down upon her. She was awake now, though she kept her eyes closed. “Sasuke…I want you to come back…”

Sasuke felt the lump in his throat swell to a larger size. “S-Sakura…”

Sakura's eyes flung open and she jumped away from him. “What…Wh-When?!”

“I came back this morning.”
“You…left me yesterday. I didn't want to be alone. I wanted you to stay with me.”

Sasuke looked into her hurt eyes, but couldn't say anything. “Come on Sasuke! Say you're sorry. Tell her what you planned on the way up here. Damn it! Just say something!” No words came.

“Why? Why did you decide to come back?”

“I…don't know…Yes, you do! You know exactly why you came back! You want to protect her from everyone and everything. You want to be with her. You care about her. Tell her!”

“I see…” Sakura had expected more. “Well I'm fine now. You can go.” She stood out of her bed. “I can take care of myself from now on.”

“No you can't. I need to protect you. You need me. Please need me.” Sasuke stood as well. “I don't know what to say…”

“You don't need to say anything. You can go back home and be with everyone. You can have a normal life. You can have a normal…relationship.” Sakura didn't want to let him go, but she felt she might have to.

Sasuke looked at her and then slowly headed for the door. But then he stopped. “…No…”

Sakura looked up at him.

“I…don't want to go back. I don't want to have a normal life nor a normal relationship…I want to be with you.”

“You do…?”

“On the way back here, I planned everything I was going to say, hoping that you were going to welcome me back with open arms. But now I realize the words I had planned aren't enough. You wanted me to make the first move…and now I found better words.” He grabbed her and kissed her deeply for a long time. When he pulled away, he went to her ear and whispered the words he really wanted to say all along. “Sakura…I love you…”

Sakura gasped and looked up into his eyes. All she could do at the moment was smile as a couple tears slid down her cheeks. She pushed him on the bed and kissed him tenderly. “I love you too.”

Sasuke chuckled and put a hand on her cheek. “You're cute.”

Sakura sat back. “Hmm…I wasn't expecting that and by the way…did you happen to dress me last night?”

Sasuke nodded slowly, expecting to be slapped.

Sakura blushed a bit. “Well, did you like what you saw?”

Sasuke blinked. “We-Well….um…I really hope this isn't a trick question. Y-yes…” He blushed and looked away.

Sakura giggled. “You're the cute one. Getting all flustered like that. How are we ever going to have sex?” Sakura just realized what she had said and began to laugh nervously. “Ha…Ha…Forget I said that.”

“Now who's all flustered?”

“Shut up!” Sakura crossed her arms over her chest and looked away from him.
Sasuke chuckled. “Aw. Don't be mad. Come here.” He opened his arms up.

Sakura glanced at him and finally crawled into his lap. His arms closed around her and she rested against his chest. “Sasuke…?”

“Yes?”

“Will you stay here? Move in I mean. I want to be with you as much as possible.”

Sasuke smiled. “Of course I'll move in with you.”

Sakura smiled and snuggled against him more.

“Oh! I almost forgot! Naruto and Shikamaru apologize to you for everything that happened. I had a few words to say to them and they saw my point of view. They're going to talk to everyone. Maybe even visit today.”

Sakura clutched part of Sasuke's shirt in her hand. “R-Really? But-But…I don't know about this…It's going to be so awkward…”

Sasuke chuckled. “This is a new side of you. Being intimidated by them…”

Sakura's eyebrows furrowed. “Whatever…”

“Aw. Don't get mad at me.” Sasuke kissed the back of her neck lightly, making her shiver. “Hm…Interesting…” He kissed her neck again to receive the same reaction.

“Sasuke…sto—op!”

He didn't listen to her and continued, making his way to her collar bone. His kisses were soft. Almost like a feather was brushing against her skin. Her breathing became heavy and her heart pounded in her chest. Her body tensed in his arms and Sasuke, sensing this, laid her back on the bed and continued. He moved to her lips for a passionate kiss. Parting her lips with his tongue, he tasted the inside of her mouth. She played back with her tongue, but Sasuke was clearly the dominate one. He pulled away and kissed the side of her mouth lightly and then trailed his lips back to her collar bone. The last kiss had Sakura lusting for more. “S-Sasuke…”

His hands moved up her shirt, slowly lifting it up. His thumbs caressed her nipples causing much pleasure to escaped Sakura. Sasuke then moved his mouth to one, while still caressing the other with his thumb. He kissed around it at first and then began to gently suck on it. Sakura moaned and her back arched slightly. His tongue then began to caress the delicate skin, nipping at it once in a while.

Just as he was going to go further, the door bell rang, stopping them. Now he regretted even asking the others to come by. He moved away reluctantly and pulled her shirt back down. He looked down at her. She was blushing deeply and her hands clutched the sheets. Her eyes were half-closed and her breathing was hard and lustful. She was beautiful. Again, the doorbell rang. Sasuke sighed heavily. “You should go get dressed. I'll get the door.”

“R-Right.”

Sasuke moved away and she crawled off the bed. Sasuke grabbed her before she went to the bathroom to change. He turned her around and kissed her. After, he smiled. “We'll continue this later…”

His comment caused her to blush even more. He left the room and she picked out her clothes, feeling a bit dizzy from the events that just went on. She smiled though and went to get ready, her heart still pounding.
