Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Genma's ❯ Finding ( Chapter 1 )
[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]
A/N: Don't bother flaming I write for personal satisfation, I post because I like to share. However reviews are encouraged as I have multiple projects (2 Naruto, 1 long Love Mode, 2 Prince of Tennis) and the one with the most demands will probably get my attention...unless I'm simply *called* to the story by overwhelming ideas. It's mostly thought out. It's not about main characters. It's being written because I love Genma, and he don't have enough fics. If you want to know who's face goes with what name, go to Narutofan.com character biographies and look them up, that's where i got most of my information for the characters from.
Warning: M/M, anal, oral, original male character, graphic lemons, mention of past rape, slavery (think like the Hyuuga branch family only more severe), Genma x OMC, mention of past Genma X Hayate, spoilers. Lemons in future chapters (honest, the story just hasn't gotten there yet). Starts in the place where Naruto's come back after all that training three years later.
Disclaimer: Don't own, except the Seiryoku clan. Well and the developed personalities that I gave various background characters... Everything else belongs to the makers of Naruto. P.S I don't have a beta! So read at your own risk, most major mistakes have been removed. If you notice any please leave a comment so that I can fix them.

Genma ran through the forest, darting from branch to branch he wanted to get as far away from the scene of their attack as possible, it had been a covert assassination, after having been discovered once as being connected, he'd taken pains never to let that happen again. Once was a lesson learned. That's as many times as he had to be told, to do anything. Including falling in love. When he was young he'd fallen in love, but after learning just how quickly an ANBU would have to risk his life, he'd vowed that if his lover died, he wouldn't replace him. In the end they'd been together for years, Genma had forgotten what it was like to be alone, but for that last three years since the Hidden Village of Sound had attacked he'd slept every night alone. His lover's death had been a prelude to a horrific overture.
Genma glanced to look at Shikamaru, he'd been the sole Chuunin selected out of all the Genin's a few years ago, he was just about up to Jounin skill after a few years. He was glad that he'd been told to mentor Nara Shikamaru as opposed to one of the others. His cohort had all become Chuunin's at least the ones that made it to the third exam. Training was...an experience, he like that Shikamaru didn't talk but did he have to be so lazy? But in Genma's mind his talent made up for it. After the first few sessions, Genma made it simple, he told Shikamaru what to do. Said that he had to do it before sunset or whatever length of time he deemed appropriate and left. Shikamaru did it and proceeded to cloud watch until Genma told him what to do next.
Genma also over looked his teams and was the person who answered any questions Shikamaru had about skills and combining personalities on teams, or the most efficient way to do so. Not that he asked many questions, when he did ask he only asked once. He left Genma to brood in silence, he didn't bother him. As Shikamaru put it...'It would be bothersome.' He still gave up if he had a choice, but for missions, he always had a plan. Genma had let Shikamaru come up with plans for the last year’s worth of missions, he merely over looked them when required by guidelines, still he couldn't help but think what a weird fellow, Nara Shikamaru was.
Genma grimaced, however Shikamaru still was a tangible reminded of what he'd lost. How he’d had to take his lover’s place as the examiner when he’d conducted the third and final examination. A Shinobi didn't let personal feeling get in the way of his work. So after his lover's body was discovered he in his place, a testament of his love. Not that many knew that they were sleeping together. Ironically it wasn't even a secret, they were just so undemonstrative that no one thought they were more than roommates.
After Hayate passed the Jounin exam, he'd shown up at Genma's apartment and told him that he was going to take him drinking as a thank you for being such a good mentor, he'd gotten Genma thoroughly drunk, climbed into bed and onto Genma. Hayate had been the first Chuunin that he'd mentored, and one that had seduced him, the 15 year old had jumped a confused 21 year old Genma's bones. As people say, 'and that was that'.
The next morning Hayate had woken up sore, but happy. Genma had woken up confused and hung-over. Hayate had made him breakfast, told Genma that he'd signed a lease on a two person lease in the same complex and that Genma should cancel his and move in. Inexplicably Genma had done just that. It wasn't his fault that no one believe him when he told them the reason he'd moved in was because Hayate had ordered him to after jumping his bones. Well maybe it was he was a bit too deadpan and sarcastic sometimes with unwanted questions.
Genma looked in the direction of the setting sun, he could feel chakra fading rapidly. He motioned to Shikamaru to follow discretely. Genma looked down into a clearing he could see three cloud Shinobi leaving, they seemed unaware of his presence. He had no desire to inform them. After they left he looked around the clearing, the chakra was still there was rapidly fading. Turning slightly he looked at a tree and spotted him, or what he thought was a him. Pinned to the tree by kunai a young man hung upside down his feet and hands impaled. There was no forehead protector to be seen, but that didn't mean that he wasn't a Shinobi. Checking on the cloud Shinobi they seemed to have completely left. He motioned to Shikamaru to join him. Words were unnecessary between them.
Shikamaru held the boy against the tree by his legs and Genma pulled the kunai out, storing them in one of his pockets for further perusal. When all the kunai were removed Shikamaru and Genma laid the boy, Genma once he'd gotten close had noticed that he couldn't be more than 14 or so years old, they did emergency aid stopping the major wounds from bleeding, their third teammate was a medic nin, they'd left her laying down a genjutsu distraction people from noticing them.
"Put him on my back," Genma knelt and Shikamaru drapped the unconscious body over his mentor's back. Once it was in place, he tied the body there so that they wouldn't have to worry about him falling off before they reached safety and the medic nin that he so obviously needed. Cloud and Fire country were currently at odds if the ninja's were this close to Fire country's boarder it meant nothing good.
Genma ran at full speed, the boy needed Ayaka's skills, he hoped that the Chuunin had finished her part of the mission. Shikamaru scouted a head and behind, as Genma was slightly hampered they didn't want to run into enemy nin. Shikamaru may look lazy but he hated to leave hurt or let people get injured more than he desired to relax, if Genma hadn't stopped to check out the fading chakra, Shikamaru would have, complaining the entire time that it was bothersome, while refusing to leave the injured boy behind the entire way.
Genma willed the boy to make it, he'd undoubtedly have some sort of information on the Lightning country hidden village, being as they were once more on the verge of war with the village, any information about them, noble or nin would be helpful as payment for saving his life. The closer to camp Genma got the more tired he noticed himself becoming. That would teach him to brood about the past when he should be sleeping especially on a mission. Genma was good at what he did. Not a lot of Jounin made it past thirty, despite getting smarter as you got older you had to deal with so many lethal situations that most Jounin's didn't retire, they died. He felt his cheek tingle reminding him of the scar he'd gotten there, he'd made it to almost thirty without any facial scars, highly unusual all of his fellow Jounin's were sporting them for the most part, after healing up from the fight with the Sound nin after the Chuunin fiasco, Raido and Kotetsu had taken him drinking saying he'd finally "joined the club". His face now sported furrows down his cheek, nothing as bad as Raido's decorations.
Genma hitched the boy up higher as his entire face tingled, stinging as though he were receiving the wound all over again, he wondered if he'd some how managed to re open it, it was stubborn and had refused to fully heal for the last two years, something always happened, it wasn't anything important enough to talk to the Godaime about however. Genma paused on his branch as he saw the clearing, he didn't sense Ayaka's chakra but she was very good at suppressing it, hence fooling the sense.
Ayaka called out a greeting, it was safe for her to do so she looked like a regular traveler, Shikamaru answered, Genma just landed and let Shikamaru untie and remove the boy with Ayaka's help. Her medic nin training kicked in and within seconds she had begun assessing the boy's wounds, Genma sat against a tree feeling hungry and tired. It was funny he hadn't felt hungry in a long time, he ate because he had too, his body needed it, but he hadn't *felt* hungry. As for being tired, there was a wiriness that had taken over his body since Hayate's death. He fished in his Jounin vest for the kunai. Turning them over in his hands he could see that they were blunted, much like the ones shown to children and used for tricks that didn't require throwing, then again they were also used for throwing when you wanted to increase your strength, after all they wouldn't stick readily so you'd have to force them to, against strong resistance.
Ayaka roped Shikamaru into helping, sending him to get some water and boil it (with chakra). She forced one of Tsunade's potions down his throat and then cut off his shirt, she checked the palm and foot wounds to see if they were bleeding, they seemed to have stopped, but they really should have stitches the chakra binds would fail soon and they'd start bleeding. She pried open his eyes and saw that they were a faded out frost green color or they would have been if the blood vessels hadn't ruptured. Turning to Genma she quizzed him as to what had happened, how had they found him, cause of his wounds. Listening to Genma's brief explanation she continued to check over the unconscious boy's body. There were no tattoo indication him as a Shinobi, there were several piercings, she hadn't seen them right away distracted by the blood which had coated his chest. She cut off his pants saw that he was naked under them. She also saw a lot of old puckered scars and healed burn marks that covered the majority of his body, aside from the hands and feet there were broken ribs and a few deep cuts on his legs and chest.
She made Shikamaru wash him while she strung a needle for sutures, and quickly stitched the ones on his trunk and legs for the hands she could only reinforce the binding preventing them from more bleeding she wasn't sure what else to do with gaping wounds of that nature, the Godaime or one of her assistants would have to look at them, luckily they were only a few hours out, if they rushed they could get there before the binding failed. bandaging him back up, Ayaka ordered Shikamaru to find something for him to wear they'd have to get back to the village immediately. In the end they cut up a bed roll and tied the fabric around him toga style, Genma once more decided to carry him back to the village, he felt better after a snack and resting.
"Genma-sempai your face---" Ayama started to say startled.
"Leave off, let's get going." Genma was once more running, Ayaka not far behind him scouting. Shikamaru stayed behind briefly to eradicate any signs of they existence in the clearing. He caught up with them about an hour away from the hidden leave village. He reported that there were no further complications and went on a head to inform the Godaime of her being needed to help the wounded stranger attacked by cloud country. The boy had to know something, otherwise why would they treat him so cruelly, Genma reasoned. He traveled quickly, information was a worthwhile commodity.
