I DO NOT OWN NARUTO!!! *SOB* PLEASE FORGIVE ME! Masashi Kishimoto made them! HOWEVER! I did make my OCs, which include Roxanne, Tyler, Drake, etc… anyone who really isn't in the Naruto series. ^.^ Now, to the STORY!

Roxanne Evans

“Roxanne! Make a wish!”
“Come on, Roxy! BLOW!”
“Alright, alright, sheesh..” I hushed them as I breathed in a deep breath of oxygen, then let it all out, hitting each of the thirteen candles.

“All in one blow!” I said with a wink. My friends all cheered, then immediately Ty shoved a large piece of chocolate cake, smothered in creamy, medium purple icing in my face. I scowled and grabbed a handful of it and chucked it at his face, hitting him square in the forehead. Then I smile and take the plate from his hands. “Thank you Tyler.” I said in a sickening sweet tone. He was too busy complaining and wiping the sticky mess off his face. Everyone was laughing and pointing at him, and I felt something hit the back of my head, then before I knew it, I was being pushed face first into my slice. I jerked up and started ranting like Ty was himself. I grabbed Drake's shirt and wiped my face off with it. He stopped laughing, and looked down at his shirt, with a disgusted look on his face. Everyone just laughed harder and nearly choked on their cake. “P-presents!” Jessie managed to sputter out during her fit of laughter.

It was my 13th birthday, my day. Instead of inviting a ton of people I barely had acquaintances with, just three of my best friends. We had our own group, though we didn't act the same or dress, or have some stupid little code. No, we were just who we are, and we liked it.

Tyler White, Ty to us, was always the hyperactive prankster that everyone considered a real pain in the ass, but he was a really fun and smiling guy. He had messy blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes, and he loves to skateboard (though he really stinks at it..) and pull pranks on the teachers 8/5! (Eight hours a day, five days a week! :D). He is very childish, but that's what we like about him!

Drake Smith, pretty much the ring leader of our group, is the ideal bad boy, though he is random and hyper at times, pretty childish like everyone else. He is excellent at skate boarding and does all kind of cool things, though he is a genius! He has messy, sort of long, black hair with electric blue streaks in it, and crystal blue eyes. Serious when he needs to be, both otherwise.. *ahem..*

Jessica White, Jessy, is my best friend out of all of them. Her hair is dyed often, usually different, freaky colors, as it was flaming red at the moment. A way to recognize her though, were her eyes. They were an intense green, with a streak of blue running through it. All natural, too. She's a bundle of fun, and the oldest of the group at the age of almost fifteen, also the tallest.

“MY PRESENT FIRST!!” Tyler yelled at the top of his lungs, earning weird stares from the people who were also at the park at the time, it being five o'clock, though it still was pretty bright out, considering it was early summer. Jessy whacked him and told him to put a lid on it, then he handed me his present when he was finished rubbing his throbbing brain. It was untidily wrapped in green paper, but I didn't care. I ripped the thing apart and opened it, then tore the lid off to see the newest ninja-action game available, Naruto, Ultimate Ninja 3.

“EEEEEE!! THANK YOU TYL!! I LOVE YOU!!!!” I yelled, tackling him into a hug. Then Drake threw a present at me, my nimble fingers catching it. It was a white box with a blue ribbon. I quickly opened it to see a box set of the Naruto DVD set. I've only seen up to the Chunin Exams, but Drake got me pretty much ALL of them.

“OH MY GOD! DRAKE! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!” I screamed in his ear.

“YOU'RE WELCOME YOU'RE WELCOME YOU'RE WELCOME!!!” he screamed back. (A/N: Heehee, I got that from my best friend, if she's reading this. ^.^) I tore up Jessy's present without a word, and gasped at what I saw.

Five necklaces, each had a charm that looked like a star with seven points. Each had, “No Matter What, Best Friends Forever.” But on one, it had on the back of it saying, “For Roxanne, our Insane, Hyperactive, Friend!”

“Oh my god, Jessy, how did you afford this?” I asked her. She smiled. “My dad helped.”

I dished out the rings to everyone, keeping mine and the extra. Extra? “Hey, Jessy, there is another ring..”

“I know. Give to someone who you find special to you one day.” She said with a wink.

Kathryn, my stepmother, came up with a smile on her face. “Roxanne, your grandparents bought you a present.”

“Really?!” I yelled, and jumped from my seat. I opened up the long, rectangular box, then opened the lid to it to see two swords. I gasped. Each were really beautiful. On both, the two sides were colored pure black, a white streak down the middle. The handles were dark blue, and I recognized the blades as katana. I beamed. I knew the art of the sword, it was one of my hobbies, along with Karate and other martial arts.

“Time to go home, Roxanne. It's getting late.”

“Same. My mom is here.”

“By Roxy!!”

Then Kathryn drove me home. Immediately I plopped my presents into my room, then changed into my Pjs and watched Naruto episodes. Before I could watch the fifth, I fell asleep.

“Good night.” I mumbled to myself as sleep ate away the edges of my mind.
