Grand Summoning Jutsu

Maya's small apartment was now busy with the girls whom seemed to invite themselves over to get ready for the dinner. Dress cloths were all over, hanging on what free space she had left in her closet, Draped over chairs and her bed, some even hanging from the shower pole across her bath tub.

Maya sat in her dresser chair across from Sakura, whom was now using the red body paint and brush to paint on the small brunettes chest above her breast over her heart.

"it's so cute you are trying to match with him" Sakura seemed to be engulfed in her painting when she spoke in a monotone voice.

"yeah well, I'm trying for a reaction" Maya was now applying her makeup as best she could without moving. she was wrapped in a towel so that Sakura wouldn't drip the paint on her new dress.

"I still can't believe he asked you" she giggled.

"me either.... actually"

Most of the girls had finished fixing their hair and was now dressing. most, of course were Japanese kimono's made of fine silks and pastel colors. Hair ordainments was a common item among accessories they peered out of carefully done hair with beautiful danglers falling from the ends. Temari's kimono was of darker colors than the rest, she liked the reds, blacks and whites and felt they were the best colors to compliment her fair skin and light hair.

"hurry Maya, I want to see your dress." Temari pinned a piece of her, now curly hair back with the rest, behind the hair ordainment.

" after Sakura is done, and I finish my hair."

"I'm done, so finish" Sakura pulled back from her place sitting on the bed as she admired her handy work. She painted "love" in Kanji over Maya's fair skin above her breast, as seen on Gaara's forehead. she gave a soft blow over the paint as it started to dry and harden in it's final place.

"ok ok Give me a minute I'm almost done my hair." Maya had her hair in an updo like the rest in a mass of curl, pinned back her bangs were straight as usual but swished to the side. she reached for the butterfly pin she had perchance the day before and secured it on the side of her hair, she happened to add two strands of ribbon to the bottom of the clip so that it could be wrapped around her head, to meet the other side to be held in place. the vibrant pieces matched he paint perfectly.

"wow, that looks really pretty!" Ino pointed at the small figure that lay in the brunettes hair, sparkling in the light of the room.

"thanks!" smiled Maya closing her eyes at the same time. "ok, time for the gown." Maya grabbed her sheet covered dress from the closet and made her way to the bathroom. "Temari, I think I will need help." she looked back at her friend whom was looking at herself in the mirror at the dresser.

"ok, coming!" the two woman closed the door behind as they entered. Moments later a squeal came in the sound of Temari's voice.

"OH MY GOD!" she she yelled. "GAARA IS GOING TO GO NUTS! IF HE DOESN'T HE'S CRAZY!" the girls laughed from behind the bathroom door.

"ok ok but I still need your help with this." Maya handed the blond ninja two long pieces of ribbon and instructed her to wrap them around both her fore arms and continue down to her fingers, like the way the ninja rap the bandages around themselves.

"I'm coming out" Maya announce soon after. reaching for the nob of the door where her and her friend had disappeared a few minutes before. she stepped out only to have all the girls turn to look in her direction in complete awe.

"holy jumpins!" sighed Tenten whom was sporting a traditional Chinese pink dress, made of satian with a stitch of a dragon pattern, the material was long and reached to the floor.

"wow...." Ino said almost at the same time.

The dress Maya had made fit her perfectly. The red top corset of the dress hugged tightly to her chest and waist, pushing her breast up slightly drawing attention to the red symbol painted on it. the body of the gown started just below her waist where the corset had stopped, forming a fluffy overlay that reached to the floor with shimmering stones all over the Fine mesh. her arms were wrapped in long red ribbon that matched the one in her hair and the one that held the corset in place in a weaving matter in the back. the two ends of the ribbon on each hand dangled from her index fingers nearly touching the floor when standing still, but the moment she moved the ribbon would take off behind her in a gust of wind.

"you will defiantly match." laughed Sakura watching the young woman walk from the bathroom door.

"I hope he likes it." a blush feel over her face thinking about the young Kazekage.

"He is nuts if he doesn't" spat Temari.

"anyway" Maya continued with slipping in the red sandals she had bought, not that they could be seen from under the dress. " I think we are almost ready."

"yeah, lets get going." Ino followed.

"oh by the way" Tenten spoke up looking in Hinata's direction " did you get the nerve to ask Naruto to this thing?" she questioned in a innocent tone.

"well- I -hum...I" the poor girl once again turned an unhealthy shade of red trying to spit out the words.

"he asked her" Sakura narrowed her eyes leaning over Tenten's shoulder. "that knuckle head took long enough." the girls laughed as the last one closed the door of the small apartment flicking off the lights.

"I can't believe I'm here" Gaara leaned slightly over Tsunade shoulder to let her know his annoyance of the whole thing. sure Naruto was special but did he really need all of this. The Dinner was being held in a large hall, round tables were scattered throughout leaving an isle down the middle, where the two stood. At the front of the Hall was a long banquet style table set for the the Hokage and her escort and the Kazekage with his. a man in the corner sat at a 3 legged black grand piano playing soft music.

"just a bit longer Lord Kazekage" she responded, the young looking woman also was wearing a fine silked Kimono pastel green in color and a red obi tied in a bow behind her back. her locks, up with an ordainment emerging from her yellow hair. the two stand at the end of the hall watching as one person / couple at a time came forward bowed and took their seats where they wished.

"this suit is driving me nuts" he spat between people, reaching his pointer finger and slipping it between his bare neck and the material of the collar, tugging at it a bit. "It's hot..." he trailed off watching the next pair approach. Naruto and Hinata stepped forward, bowed in respect and proceeded.

"I think I am probably going to go last" Maya sounded nervous and excited at the same time as she tried to peak over shoulders to get a good look at the Hokage and Kazekage. Her height failed her as she couldn't see over the few people left before the dinner started. "I need to go to the washroom" she spat, before Temari had a chance to turn and look behind the red ribbon trailing behind Maya disappeared behind the wall.

"what's her problem" Shikamaru was gripping to Temari's hand when they both turned to look behind.

"I think she is scared Gaara wont like it." she smirked.

"like what? how troublesome" he followed with a sigh. they moved up as they were the last to show respects to the two officials bowing they took their place at a table of their choice.

"ok, I can do this" a heavy breath came from the back of the small girls chest the painted tattoo heaving with every breath. she mustered herself from the leaning position against the wall and pushed to stand on her own. she began to walk near the entrance of the hall once again...

"I think that's it. we can sit" the Hokage glance over at the young red headed boy.

"there is one more." Gaara seemed like he was staring at the entrance waiting for something, he knew Temari would not have come without Maya.

His mouth fell as he watched the young woman dressed in her western style red gown, her head down before she turned to face both. she then lifted her eyes to look down the strech where her escort was awaiting her. lifting her dress she took a step forward now looking at the dumbfounded redhead now standing frozen and mouth wide open looking as she entered the hall. he thought he had felt his entire stomach drop to the floor the closer she came. she lifted her head higher when she saw the reaction from the young Kazekage, the one she wanted, and began to pick up her pace the ribbon from her fingers trailed behind and the wings of the butterfly placed in her hair bounced slightly with each step. her last step took her in front of the two officials, her chest lightly rising and falling with nervousness, she reached with both hands to each side of her dress and pulled them out in a curtsy bowing her head.

"oh my god..." Gaara breathed to himself but loud enough to have Tsunade could hear him. his eyes fell to the symbol on her chest as it moved with her soft breathing rhythm, it was his symbol and she had matched him.

"good evening" she spoke to the both of them.

"I take it this is your date Lord Kazekage" Tsunade finally spoke, snapping Gaara from his fixated trance.

"I.... hum" he was trying to find the words to speak, but he kept tripping furiously over his own tongue.

"shall we sit, Kazekage?" the beauty spoke in his direction as she waited for him to reach out to escort her.

He finally stretched his arm opening his hand to her, she slipped her smaller fingers into his palm and pulled her forward escorting her to their table. the room began to flutter with gossip as the young couple took their seats.

"oh cute..." Sakura whispered over Temari's shoulder.

"wow" sighed Temari "never seen Gaara so lost for words..."

"you look incredible" Maya lowered herself in the chair he had pulled out for her, when she spoke to him. slipping her hands under her bottom to flatten the dress as she sat, so it could not wrinkle.

"compared to you..." he managed to croaked out "I don't even know what to say to you." he took his seat next to the Hokage not taking his eyes off the young woman on his other.

"your getting too obvious" she giggled

"I don't care" he turned his gaze to the room full of people, his brother now giving him the thumbs up, the Rmaen girl sitting at his side. he continued moving his eyes slowly over to Naruto, sitting with Hinata, now with a huge goofy smile across his face. then to Temari straightening herself in a proud manner nodding to her younger brother. a flush, of course, rushed to his cheeks watching all the faces in the room having their attention on Maya and himself. he once again turned his full attention over at the young woman in awe. "you are beautiful." he watched has her blue and green eyes turned to him in surprise.

"I was hoping you would like it." she smiled closing her eyes.
