Chapter One

In the darkness of a sleeping village stood three shadows. One was a young boy sround the age of thirteen. He had navy blue hair that was in a pony that reached his shoulders. His piercing blue gaze darted from one end of the village to to the other. "It looks like the place sensei" the sensei was a young woman in her early twenties. She had green hair hair in a bun. Her purple eyes looked over at the boy "Are you sure? No lies?" the boy glared violently "Would I lie?" "Maybe" "I resent that and no I am not lieing!"

"Just asking" she pouted. Then smirking she turned to a younger girl beside her. " Are you ready to go?" the girl nodded causing her orange hair to sway. " Lin Lin is happy if Miri-chan is happy" the sensei smiled "Thanks Lin Lin! Okay then we'll arrive at the gates of the village at around daybreak...I can't wait to get home".

In the village there was another trio that wasn't asleep. Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke stood on the bridge where their sensei said to meet him at three o'clock. It was currently four o'clock...he was no where at all. Sakura was fumming and Naruto was fast asleep. Sasuke was standing on a tree branch leaning against the trunk. "DAMN IT WHERE IS HE!?" she snarled angrily. Naruto was startled when she kicked his arm. "OW!!! What did I do to deserve that!?" Sakura was taken aback by the sheer fact that Naruto raised his tone at her. She snarled angrily at him " IF SASUKE-KUN AND I DON'T GET ENOUGH SLEEP THEN NEITHER DO YOU!!!" "I'M TIRED AND I GET GRUMPY AND SNAPPY WHEN I DON'T GET ENOUGH SLEEP!!!" "i DON'T GIVE A DAMN!!!" "JUST SHUT UP AND LEAVE ME ALONEWILL YOU!!!" his eyes narrowed and glared malevolently at her, she was startled when he began to walk away from the bridge. " WHERE DO THINK YOU'RE GOING!?"" she yelled ignoring the look Sasuke gave her. "BACK TO SLEEP AND NOT TO MENTION BACK HOME! IF THE OLD GUY HAS PROBLEMS WITH THAT, TELL HIM TO PUT A CORK IN IT. TODAY IS NOT THE DAY DAMN IT!!!" ( >_> what's up with the hyper cheerful kid? ^_^ you'll find out soon enough)

<SAND VILLAGE>

Temari paced back and forth "Where the hell is that little bitch? ...She's been missing for the past three weeks! JESUS CHRIST! The second we arrive from Konohagakure she goes missing! Lin Lin, I swear is a walkign typhoon!" Kankuro shrugged and slouched in his chair "The little sand-rat always comes home so quit worrying." Temari glared at her brother who flinched slightly at the coldness in her glare. "She is our little sister so don't tell me to 'knock it off' got it Kankuro?" the boy nodded nervously "Yeah sure Temari, what ever you say". She smiled like a cat given a bowl of milk. "That's more like it. Now where's Gaara?" Kankuro shrugged. Temari rolled her eyes and left the room. Kankuro snorted and then muttered somethign about sluts and Temari. Temari called from down the hall " I HEARD THAT!" Kankuro sweatdropped, "How does she do that?"

The mentioned person ws out on the roof glaring at the passing people. He could crush them all with a single gesture but if he did then his father would send more annoying assasins after his life. If there was anything he hated hore then assasins it was Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki, the damn blonde boy from Konohagakure, team seven, teacher Hatake Kakashi. That boy was a damn headache. Gaara smirked to himself as he recalled how easily the smaller boy took him down. A voice calling his name reached his ears. It was Temari, his slutty sister. She only cared about two things in the world and they were herself and Lin Lin. Gaara didn't hate Lin Lin, maybe because she reminded him of himself, and how she actually did care about him. She was just naive and simple minded and young and ignorant ( don't they all mean the same thing? @_@;;). When she realized what he really was like then he would be able to hate her and want to to kill her. Till then he may as well later her live. (I guess I'm making him a tiny bit caring or at least not bloodtirsty ^_^;;; don't ask why...) . Temari stuck her head out of a window and called up to him :Hey you comig down for lunch?" "No" "You sure" "Yes" "Short and simple aren't we?" "Go away" "Fine..." she vanished back into the house. "Damn slut Temari" from inside the house he heard her yell "I HEARD THAT!!!" Gaara blinked "How does she do that?"

<Konohagakure>

kakashi was surprised to hear why naruto wasn't there waiting for him to show up and hear the new mission like usual. "Are you certain he said that?" "Yep as certain as the sun shines" Sakura seemed startled and in shock. "How peculiar..." Sakura nodded "I was shocked to hear him yelling at me he never does that." Kakashi might not have been showing it but he was really nervous. Naruto being easily agitated wasn't like him. Kakashi shrugged and then headed toward the blonde boys home. Along the way he paused. A familiar face caused him to stop and glance at a young woman (no not like that just keep reading! -_-;) with green hair. She had two younger people following after her. [It couldn't be her...could it?] he thought as he silently leapt down behind the trio. The young boy spun so suddenly and with him came a double edged katana. Kakashi had to dodge it and ended up stuck against a wall with a blade pressed up against his neck. Kakashi smirked "Is this anyway to greet an old friend?...Miriyai?" The green haired woman gasped and her purple eyes widened in sheer shock "K-K-Kakashi?...Okayu lethim go he is a friend of mine". kakashi rubbed his throst and smiled painfully "I'll have to have Tsunade take care of that cut or bruise either one. How have you-ack!" he was cut of ff when Miriyai suddenly tackled him into a hug. "IT'S BEEN SO LONG!" "Yes it has been. I currently have to go take care of something but how about we meet up together by the oak tree. You know the place where we use to train?" she nodded. "Sure thing" Kakashi continued on his way. [How great to see Miri-chan again...gottah stay on task though...hey isn't that?...Hinata?] Sure enough it was. Hinata was running franticlly towards him. When she got to him she stopped, out of breath, and paler then usual. She seemed extremlly frightend.

She managed to sya "Naruto-kun...blood all over...oh god...Kakashi-sensei you need to hurry!" [Shit! He wouldn't would he!?] "Where is he Hinata?" "His house..." "Come with me I may need your help". She nodded and followed behind him. When they arrived at the apartment Hinata paled and shrank back. Kakashi rolled his eyes "You can stay here I'll call you if I need you". He didn't need to have an unconscious female and an injured male on his hands. He entered the small apartment. It was simple not major just and ordinary house. He had been in it before although Naruto didn't know. The door was open but no light was on in the room. It wasn't dark cause the sun had rised awhile ago and so the room was filled with a dim light. The teacher enterd and nearly collapsed from the sight. Like Hinata had said. Naruto, blood, a knife and slashed wrists. There were other scars from his wrist to his elbow, he probably just passed out from blood-lose. "My god, he couldn't be doing this...Hinata!" The girl entered shakily " Y-Y-Yes?..." "Go find Iruka and Jiraiya for me. Tell them to meet me at the hospital right away! It's about Naruto." she nodded and vanished. Kakashi lifted his student into his arms and headed over to the hospital "What the hell were you thinking Naruto...What the hell were you thinking?"
