Chapter One: The Perfect Dream
A forgotten angel surrounded in darkness.
Tears of red streak down pale skin.
Slender fingers dig into concrete.
A scream of loneliness and fear.
Broken wings holding onto the past.
Memories fade in the sands of time.
A love grown cold with each fadeing heartbeat.
Despair filled dark eyes closed one final time.
Dreams lay broken and scattered at her feet.
Warm days turn into cold nights without him.
Sasuke woke up in a cold sweat. His first thought was the
girl next to him. Shifting his oynx gaze to his right side he smiled
slightly in relief. Strands of tangled light purple hair surrounded a
pale face. His dark eyes closed for a moment as he pulled her into
his arms.
The sound of a soft murmer filled the air as she felt
Sasuke's strong arms wrap around her slender form, slowly after a
moment her dark eyes slid open as a worry look filled the depths of
those oynx eyes he so loved.
"Sasuke-kun are you alright?" A soft voice filled concerned
reached his ears.
A slight nod and a hmm was his
answer for her. Simple gestures, fingertips brushing lightly over
his right cheek seem to relax and sooth the older uchiha boy.
Reina then felt him move from her side. Running his hand through
dark hair a sigh broke the silance that hung thick in the air.
"I'm going out Reina." She shifted her gaze from the window to him then
nodded. After seeing the nod he left the house only to head for the
Hokage's monument. Tugging on the hem of Sasuke's old blue uchiha
shirt she smiled slightly.
"I guess he is still sad that the Hokage is no longer here." A tear formed then slid down her pale face.
After a moment she buried her face as the rush of tears flooded
down.
"Hokage-Sensei...It's been six years... Six years since our last
training session.... You gave me hope when I thought all was lost."
Reina then heard a knock on her bedroom door. Pulling the blanket
over her face as she spoke in a hoarse voice.
"Come in." Ryu's milky white eyes peered around the door. "Ryu-Kun?" Reina dropped the blanket from her face revealing the stains from her tears. Dropping down beside her he lifted his hand brushing the stray tears from her
cheeks. Blushing slightly she sighed.
"You've been crying again Reina-
Chan...It's been six years on this day. He died protecting this village
from Orochimaru." Ryu stated.
Reina nodded then shifted her gaze from his milky white eyes.
"Where is Neji-Kun?" The boy shurgged slightly as if he did not care. She was
satisfied with the answer for now.
"I..."
"Shhh Reina-Chan..."
The younger uchiha girl nodded then took a deep breath and forced herself to
relax.
"Ryu-Kun, Sasuke... He left just a moment ago."
The Hyuuga boy nodded then smiled slightly as he poked her nose. A giggle exscaped her and she smiled slightly.
"Get Dressed Reina-Chan and we will go eat some Raman." Reina nodded then slipped out of bed and into the bathroom. Ryu chuckled as he watched the girl leave.
"Hn... this is getting interesting. Hokage was Reina's sensei when she was
younger, Sasuke will be so pissed when he see's me with her, Oh well
his loss..."
~~~~~~~~~Scene Change~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sasuke stood at the abandoned uchiha compound. Anger burned deep in
his dark oynx eyes.
"It's been 12 years Itachi...Since you killed everyone.... I will never forgive you." Sasuke growled out those words as he moved into the compound. It will get better. For Reina attest...
You left her alive. That was a mistake.... She is far stronger then I
am. Yet she is weak at the same time...She will not harm you...The boy
shook his head as his arm lifted and a hand was placed onto his
cursed seal. Even with this...I am still not strong enough to kill
you. Sasuke reached the house his parents were murdered.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~FlashBack~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Itachi stood with his gaze staring out of the window. It was a cold
and rainy day when he murdered the entire clan except a small girl
and his little brother.
Small arms were wrapped around Itachi's leg
as they waited in silence. A moment later a six-year-old Sasuke ran
into the house.
"WHY!?!?! WHY DID YOU KILL THEM!?" The older boy's
sharingen eyes shifted then focused onto his little brother.
"To test myself. My skills." Was all he said as a little girl peeked around
then started to run towards Sasuke, A hand snapped out and pulled her
close to him.
"Reina...Stay behind me." Itachi spoke softly to the
younger uchiha girl. Oynx eyes blinked as she moved back slightly.
Sasuke then darted forwards only to get punched in his gut. Falling
onto his face he wept for his clan that was now dead. A few moments
afterwards the two older boy's along with the girl stood outside the
house as the wind picked up. Reina's fingers were curled tightly
around Sasuke's hand.
"Hate me... Despise me...Run...run and cling to your pathetic life. You
will be the avenger." Itachi then shifted his gaze to Reina. "Reina you
will be stronger then him...you will be the guardian and make sure he
does hate me enough to try and get stronger. Fuel his hate for me."
With that he turned and left without another word. Sasuke's eyes
narrowed as they filled with tears.

Sasuke felt the wetness on his face as he snapped back to reality.
"Damm it... I hate that...Remembering what he had done. I will kill him...
If not for Reina...for the times he pushed me away."
Sasuke turned and begun to walk away. As he made his way back towards Reina's apt. he heard a giggle that made him stop and look around. Another giggle
filled his ears as he then spotted Ryu was so close to kissing Reina.
Narrowing his eyes he was behind him before anyone could blink.
Yanking him back Sasuke then lifted his fist to punch Ryu when Reina
got between them.
"Sasuke-Kun..."Her oynx gaze bore into his own.
Moving past her he slammed his fist into the Hyuuga boy's face. A pleading cry from Reina stopped Sasuke and brought him back to his senses. Glaring down at Ryu he moved away then pulled Reina into his arms.
"Do not ever try that again!" Ryu snorted as he stood up to face the Uchiha boy.
"I will do as I want Uchiha...Reina. I will meet you at our training spot
later." Reina nodded as the Hyuuga boy turned and left.
The younger Uchiha girl felt Sasuke's fingers slip into her long
purplish pink hair.
"Rei...Why?" She sighed then brushed her fingertips
over his cheek.
"I was only talking to him." Sasuke silenced her as his lips met hers. A moment afterwards he pulled away.
"Rei, Don't leave me...You are the only reason... I have a heart."
A faint blush crept onto her cheeks.
"Sasuke-Kun..." She whispered as they moved apart and
headed for the Raman stand. "Sasuke...I will keep my promise. To him,
your brother." A Hn reached her ears as she sighed.
"Sasuke. Don't hate me."
"I don't Reina...I can not possibly hate you."
~~~~~~Scene Change~~~~~~~Scene Change~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ryu Sat down over a bowl of spicy beef Raman.
"Damm that Sasuke...I will kick his ass soon." He then picked up his chopsticks and begun to eat.
Naruto was being a pest as always while Sakura rolled her green
eyes. A moment later the doors open allowing the two Uchiha's to
enter the stand. Reina sighed softly as she guided Sasuke to a
secluded table. Ryu gritted his teeth as he shifted his milky white
eyes to Reina and Sasuke. Sakura spotted the pair aswell and moved to
join them.
"SASUKE-KUN!!!" The cotton candy pink haired girl glomped
onto Sasuke.
Grumbling about Sakura he pushed her away.
"You are annoying me." He then clasped his hands together as he closed his
eyes and begun to brood over what had happened. Reina simply watched
on before moving to treat Ryu's wounds.
"Ryu-Kun?"
"Hmmm?" She smiled as she moved to join him.
Will you let me treat your face? With a nod Reina focused her chakra in the palm of her hand. Closing her eyes she slowly repaired Ryu's face as Sasuke brooded more.
After a moment Reina moved away as she spoke. How does that feel?
"Thanx Reina-Chan. It feels better now." He winked then ran his fingers through long coffee colored hair.
"Don't get hurt again." Reina spoke as she turned and went to
Sasuke's side.
"Sakura-Chan how are you?" Sakura looked up at the
uchiha girl.
"What did you do to Sasuke-Kun?"
"That is none of your concern Haruno." Reina spoke icily. Sakura narrowed her eyes to the
other girl as her inner self talked.
//Who in the hell does she think she is! Sasuke-Kun is mine! Damm bitch. //
Reina simply ignored the girl with a shrug of her shoulders. Sakura got more annoyed with the fact Reina ignored her. Sasuke only watched with slight interest.
Standing up after a long moment the younger uchiha turned to leave.
"I am going to see Tsunade-Sensei.. Perhaps I can go on a solo mission."
Sasuke only watched as she left the stand. Seeing her leave Ryu also
took the chance to follow after her. As he caught up to her he spoke
as his fingers caught her wrist.
"Reina-Chan...You're not going to see her." The girl shook her head slightly.
"I just need to be alone." With that Ryu let go and watched her fade into the distance.
