(This will be a rather weird story because of the whole ghost thing but I thought it would be cool to write a ghost story so here it is.)

Summery - Naruto and Sasuke have always been rivals but a tragic “accident” has stopped all of that. Now join Naruto and his friends in a haunted house with one that everyone should remember the words “look underneath the underneath”. Now Naruto has to run for his life because he has unwillingly stumbled onto a secret that has been guarded for over 10 years. There is also a new organization

It was a pretty normal day in Konoha village. The sun was out and the breeze was blowing. The birds however where not around and the normally crowded markets were abandoned. In the distance you could see dark black smoke bellowing and people running in that direction.

 

 

 

Somewhere else

 

 

In an apartment where there are two rooms side by side, the bedroom and the bathroom. Then if you walked a little out of the hallway from the bedroom, the small kitchen would greet you. The kitchen really didn't have very much just a microwave and a refrigerator. If you walked about five steps north of that you would be greeted by the small living room. In there you only had a beat up couch and a TV along with a picture on a small table.

 

The living room was normally always abandoned but today there was a shadow who was sitting down on the couch and the TV was on.

 

On the TV was a woman who was wearing the traditional chunnin uniform. In the background you again could see black smoke and people running and screaming.

 

“We are here at the Uchiha clan manor where a huge fire has ripped through all of the homes and is only now being contained. At this time we do not know who started it or if it was an accident. We also do not now if there were any deaths as of yet………”

 

Just then the frame on the picture cracked.

 

 

 

 

Ten years later

 

 

The sun was out with a little cloud covering and the birds where flying over head to bring news. The markets were alive with people and the ninjas were out on missions and training. Konoha village was alive, as it has ever been.

 

“Hey come on already we need to see the Hokage.” A woman's voice rang out in the distance.

 

“The old hag can wait for me. I want to eat first.” A male voice said right back.

 

“This is so troublesome. Look lets go and then you can stuff your face.” Another male said in a bored tone.

 

“Fine but your buying.” The fist male said and walked off towards the tower.

 

 

Tsuanade known as the fifth Hokage was sitting in her office looking over her papers. She had long blonde hair and green eyes with bags under them from lack of sleep.

 

She was currently trying to find three brats that were supposed to be here 30 minutes ago.

 

“Lady Hokage their here.” Rin said snapping Tsuande out of her thoughts and looked up.

 

“Yes Rin let them in.” She said calmly.

 

The doors opened and the three stepped inside.

 

The first one was a woman with long pink hair and blue eyes. She had on the traditional ANBU uniform on minus the mask. The second on was also an ANBU with short spiky black hair and dark calculating eyes. The third person had three cuts on each of his cheeks with spiky long blonde hair and deep blue eyes.

 

“Oi what do you want now old hag.” The blonde said smiling at Tsuanade.

 

“How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that Naruto.” The Hokage said threateningly.

 

Naruto had a thoughtful look on his face. “Hey Sakura what do you think?” He said.

 

Sakura just sighed. She had known him for so long so it wasn't really too hard to ignore the idiot.

 

“That's enough! Now we need to get down to business.” The fifth said looking at the dark haired Shikamaru.

 

“You all have been assigned on a new job but this one will be different. This time you will be dealing with supposedly ghosts.” Tsunade finished to see their reactions.

 

“Are you serious? Who's the client?” Shikamaru said.

 

“Ghost huh. I have never really seen any ghosts before. Where are they, are they haunting a place or something.” Sakura mumbled.

 

“What are all of you crazy! This will be so cool, I've always wanted to see ghosts.” Naruto said cheerfully.

 

Tsunade only rubbed her temple. “Alright here it is. We don't know who sent the job in but they had already paid in the letter. The catch is you three will have to a let spend one night their and make any reports on what you see. It appears someone wants to sell the place but they can't because of the strange things.” She finished.

 

“So how much did they give you and where is this place.” Shikamaru said eyeing her.

 

“Well it's about 10,000 for each of you and the place is the Uchiha manor. ”Tsunade said.

 

There was a deathly silence in the whole place. Tsunade wasn't sure if it was because of the money or the place, but she had a feeling she would know pretty soon.

 

“10,000! Man I could buy roman to last me a life time.” Naruto said.

 

“Naruto even you can't be that stupid. That will only last you a month with the way you eat. "Shikamaru said.

 

“Alright Tsunade sama we will take it”. Sakura said quietly.

 

“Fine now you three will leave tomorrow morning and Naruto you better not be late.” Tsunade warned.

 

“ Hey it's not my fault Kakashi's lateness rubbed off of me.” Naruto protested.

 

All three of them just sighed at Naruto's antis.

 

 

 

The next morning came a little to soon for all of them but never the less they where all there waiting to be escorted to the manor.

They where supposed to wait for Kakashi so they knew they would be waiting for awhile.

 

-3 hours later-

 

“Kakashi you're late!” All three of them yelled.

 

“Ma sorry a little kid was asking for directions.” Kakashi said smiling. He had spiky silver hair and his headband was crocked so you could only see his left eye.

He also had on a facemask that went up to his nose.

 

“Kakashi you already used that excuse like 20 times.” Shikamaru said.

 

Kakashi just smiled. “Ok lets go. You have already got the information on the manor and the clan right.” Kakashi said walking towards the place.

 

“Yeah, the clan was very respected in Konoha. They had the sharingan like yours that could copy techniques.” Shikamaru said in a bored tone.

 

“The fire that had ripped through the whole clan village was caused by an accident and a lot of innocent people died.” Sakura finished looking down at the ground.

 

Naruto noticed this but didn't say anything. He knew she still felt sad when they talked about the incident. He to felt some ping but not like Sakura. She really liked Uchiha Sasuke and when she found out she cried for a week straight.

 

“Alright you guys here it is.” Kakashi said stopping. Naruto and the others looked up and gasped. The place was in credible. Personally Naruto had never wanted to come here but maybe he should have.

 

All four where staring at the place. The gates to actually go in the little community where huge. Even though they looked like they where going to fall of the hinges, they still had a grand design of the Uchiha fan.

 

The homes closest to them were starting to crumble and the windows where all broken.

 

“This is it. Ok you guys let's go to the manor.” Kakashi said stepping into the place.

 

Naruto while walking around saw that nothing had grown since the fire. It was like a barren wasteland, but the farther they went in the more things started to grow. There was actual grass growing and then they stopped on a dirt path leading up to the manor.

 

The place was pretty huge Naruto thought. It had three stories to the place. The outside had plant like vines cover the whole house. The paint was practically gone but you could tell that it was once blue and white. There where statues leading up to the house and a huge pond with a gazebo by it.

The windows yet dark from the dust weren't broken.

 

“Well here you guys are. I need to head back for my next mission so stay safe and don't break anything.” Kakashi said looking at Naruto. Then he vanished.

 

“Yosh let's go in guys. I want to see the inside.” Naruto said walking up the stairs towards the door while the other tow followed.

 

In one of the windows a cream colored hand pushed away a crape to get a closer look at the three, then like that the hand vanished.

 

Naruto opened the door slowly but the thing still creaked echoing throughout the place. The inside was pretty dark so you couldn't see where you were going.

 

“Hey Sakura could you give me some light I can't see anything.” Naruto said.

 

“Wait a minute. Your Shikamaru, Naruto.” Sakura said getting out flashlights.

 

After about 5 minutes of running the flashlights along the walls Sakura had finally found the light switches. When she turned them on Naruto couldn't believe his eyes. The place was pretty neat.

 

There where two giant staircases on either side of the room. They of course had spider webs and dust on them but it was still pretty impressive. There was also a table in the middle that had a broken vase on it and the walls where filled with different paintings. The light was from the chandelier hanging from the roof.

 

“Alright you guys now what?” Naruto said looking at some of the paintings.

 

“ Naruto really. We are supposed to be making any kind of report on what we see, since this place is so huge I think we need to spilt up.” Shikamaru said.

 

“I agree with you their Shikamaru, if we split up it will make things a lot easier.” Sakura said.

 

“Fine I have objections. So who's going where?” Naruto said looking at them.

 

“Well I'll take the fist floor.” Sakura said, “I want to check outside.” She finished leaving the two young men.

 

“I want to check the third story.” Shikamaru said heading up stairs while Naruto was left alone.

 

“Well I guess that leaves me with the second story.” Naruto said to no one in particular.

 

 

 

Sakura was going in and out of the rooms on the fist floor. So far she didn't see anything in particular just some furniture here and there. The paintings however did catch her eye. They mostly consisted of ships and land. She had also gone into the kitchen. The thing was pretty huge with four counters in a line. There was also pots and pans that where out lying around but that was in.

 

That's when she spotted a large door at the end of the hall. The double doors where made out of wood and they where probably really nice once but now they had holes in them and the paint was chipped off.

 

At first she really didn't want to come here but now she was finding herself become exited. Here she was at Sasuke's house her childhood crush. When she first had learned of the fire she was so devastated she wouldn't come out of her room until Naruto came over and dragged her to the ramen stand saying she needed to get out.

 

Sakura shook her head of the past and went into the room where the double doors are. The room was pretty big with a four poster bed at the window. There was also a bookshelf on the other side of the bed. Sakura walked in a little bit more and saw that the bathroom was pretty big to. She moved her way towards the bed and a little nightstand flicking the cobwebs out of the way. The bed itself was bare but you could see that it had curtains once but that's not what caught her attention.

 

There on the nightstand was a picture of a woman and a man. The woman had long black hair and dark happy eyes. She was wearing a white dress with flowers in her hands. The man also had dark hair and eyes but his eyes all though looking serious had a glint of a smile in them. He was wearing a black suit and hugging the woman.

 

Sakura knew how these two were. They were Sasuke's parents.

 

“ So this must be their bedroom.” Sakura mussed looking around one more time but something caught her eye outside the window.

 

Sakura went over and looked outside to see a woman walking down the dirt path towards the pond. She had long black her but that's all Sakura could see. She turned and ran out of the room towards the front door. She wanted to know why there was somebody walking out there.

 

Sakura opened the door and ran outside towards the direction where the woman went but when she arrived there was nothing there just an old gazebo. Sakura sat down on it staring at the pond and the grass by it. The water looked clean for a pond so she thought it was of all the weather they where getting. Sakura got up to leave but stopped the water was starting to boil.

 

“What the hell?” Sakura said softly looking at it a little closer. When she was only a few inches away a green sickly hand grabbed her by the hair out of the water and polled her in. Sakura imminently jerked and screamed bloody murder. She grabbed the hand and pulled but nothing seemed to work. She was soon submerged in the ice cold water trying to hold her breath.

 

Sakura opened her eyes to see who was trying to drown her but all she saw was black. She thought she couldn't hold her breath anymore and was going to die until something grabbed her arm. She was pulled up but had one more look at her attacker. It was a face of a woman with black hair smiling at her.

 

“Sakura what the hell! Are you alright?” Shikamaru said worried.

 

Sakura couldn't talk but only nod as she panted wondering where the blonde ninja was.
