Sasuke stumbled through the forest in a haze. He and Naruto had sparred again, it had heated up again, and this time instead of him trouncing the fox keeper, Naruto had gotten extremely mad and the demon had been roused, slightly.

He paused, to cough up blood. Naruto had almost killed him; the demons will was so strong over him. He now walked, though barely, through the woods with many small cuts and scratches. And he kept spitting up blood...His mouth was already coated in the metallic substance, slicking his tongue in the warm fluid. He stopped at a tree, and collapsed against it, maneuvering so that he leaned his bloody back against the rough bark.
"You smell it too?" Kisame asked sniffing the air thick with fresh blood.

Itachi looked toward the area that the smell was originating and with the blink of an eye he had disappeared from Kisame's view the man sighed and went back to scrapping the flesh off the helpless rat that even after its skin had been torn halfway off was still squirming in obvious anguish it's vocal cords so overused all it could do was make a spluttering sound as blood spilled out. Kisame smirked pleased with his evening.

Itachi ended up in the very tree Sasuke was leaning against. He was slightly shocked to find his brother helplessly coughing up blood being so careless making him such an easy target. He just knelt intent on watching until he felt it necessary to intervene.
Sasuke felt, distantly and in the back of his mind, the presence of someone. He looked around wildly, but was consumed in the pain of throwing up his veins sustenance before he could find the person. His internal injuries must be getting worse.

He fell to the right, on his side, as a ball of pain formed in the hole of his stomach and sent out waves of electrically agonized pain. In desperation, as he felt the sink of lightning strike harm begin to widen and spread, he pulled his shirt up to look at his smooth, battered midsection. He saw that blood was oozing out of his naval as though he had a deep piercing and someone had gone and yanked it straight out. Along with cuts contrasting with the angle of his ribs, he saw that his stomach muscles clenched and convulsed in violent invertation with every beat of his heart, beginning up then moving down in a wave. When the wave was over his ribs, the skin nearly split open the muscles clenched so hard.

"Damn...." He breathed weakly. If he lived, he was going to get Naruto back. If he lived.
Itachi watched slightly amused at the amount of blood his brother was producing a small part that he had tried to lock away felt fear knowing his brother's life was on the verge of dying but he scoffed at that thought. If Sasuke died it was his own fault... But Itachi didn't want him to die yet... Did he...?

He jumped down landing softly on his feet off to the side watching Sasuke and seeing the damage done to his stomach another shock of worry shot through him like an annoying fly he tried to wave it off but to no prevail. He took a few steps forward and stopped himself hearing a twig snap he awaited his unveiling, he wondered what Sasuke's reaction would be at seeing him.

Would he yell like usual try and kill him even in this state or something else. He kept another ear open for any of his comrades that might try to come to his rescue or a passing traveler who also smelt his blood.
Sasuke heard a twig snap and his head jerked in the direction of the slight disruption. Even though his vision was foggy, swimming, and many things seemed to have twins or triplicates, he had no trouble discerning the figure not far from his convulsing form. His eyes widened.

"Y...You...Wh...Argh!" He tried to fight off the pain that etched itself across his youthful face, like a splash of red in the sea of blackness. Like his brothers blood colored eyes.

When the flash of pain subsided enough for him to feel his fingers and not the fire of his agony, he rolled onto his stomach. From there, he propped himself up on an elbow. The movement resulted in more retching up, a lovely and thick scarlet paint. Once his throat was no longer carrying the substance up, he climbed to his knees. He paused as his stomach convulsed so much he was sure it must be trying to squeeze all contents out by brute force. His face hot, blood leaking out of his ears, nose, mouth, and even streaming down all corners of his eyes like metallic tears, he rose to his feat in front of his brother. He got into a defensive stance.

"I...Won't.....Let...You...Beat me.....!" He said, hands shaking as, seen only because the sweat and blood plastered the shirt so close to Sasuke's lean form, his chest began to heave from the exertion of supporting his own wait.
He watched his brothers reaction seeing him their and silently enjoyed the look of pain crossing his ever paling cheeks the blood contrasting the other colors of his body with the light shining off made quite a mental picture.

"Foolish weak little boy." Itachi said in his normal deadpan. He took more steps toward his younger and glared at his stupidity. "I will beat you in this condition." He explained slowly. Then he took a few more steps forward seeing the child before him wobble with the strain of being awake still he grabbed his wrists and pulled him flush against his chest liking the flash of agony.

"See can't even escape now..." He murmured into Sasuke's exposed ear.
Sasuke shivered in fear and a horrible clear understanding. Itachi was right. He would have collapsed at how Itachi pulled him, but his older brother was holding him up, painfully but up. He felt his wrists start to hurt, as his body weight was pressed almost limply against the small area.

He also felt the blood leaking from his ears ripple as Itachi's breath played across the bright, warm river. His legs quaked, knees nearly knocking together in the violent wrenching of fatigue.

He bit his lip, as suddenly his spine seemed to be a rope that flogged him in agony and soaked him in disorientation. As the pain finally made it so he couldn't stand, he fell against Itachi, head lolling forward and resting upon his elders shoulder. The blood dripped into the fabric, spilling from the thin film of his tear ducts.

"Sh....Shu...T....U....." He couldn't finish as he clenched his fists so hard veins showed and he punctured skin. The pain was just too much.
Itachi sighed not to upset that his favorite cloak was being bathed in his brother's blood. He could tell Sasuke was in agony the amount of blood spilling from all openings concluding that he also knew he wouldn't no... Couldn't let him stay like this only he should be aloud to cause his brother so much torment. So with a few quick motions he knocked Sasuke out into deep slumber used a few hand motions for a healing spell and stopped a little bit of the bleeding, enough to keep him alive and pulled him across his shoulder.

He ran back to the camp and gave Kisame a glare seemingly telling him to stay far away this human was not for play. He tossed Sasuke's body down next to Kisame and then sat down next to his erratically breathing body.

"Well... Heal him." Itachi said staring at Kisame who spit the bone he was chewing on out and helped to calm the enflamed cuts bruises and internal injuries after they where finished only minor things where left that would heal within a few nights.

"Who is he?" Kisame asked staring at the blood coated face.

"My brother." Itachi sneered leaning back against a tree since it was quite dark he knew Kisame wanted more of an explanation, but really he didn't want to talk to him about it, it wasn't his business.
Sasuke dreamed nothing, or at least didn't remember. What he did remember was instances when pain was so much he swam out of his unconsciousness and into wakefulness, only to be knocked out again by the blinding pain.

When he did finally wake up, he was surprised to find that almost all pain was gone. He searched with his eyes and saw no one near him. Spreading his senses, he could feel no one either. With one last paranoid survey of the area, he turned to examine the extent of his wounds.

He first checked his arms, bending his spine to look around his elbow region. He felt, as his painless stomach flexed, how stiff his shirt was with caked on blood and sweat. He wrinkled his nose. He was satisfied with the minimal damage left on his upper limbs.

Next his legs. Same as his arms. He brought his hands up, and after flexing his fingers to feel for any broken bones, he cast yet another eye out for intruders. Then he pulled his hardened shirt off and began to check his chest and stomach. His hands ran along his muscles, gently massaging to feel for any sore spots. The only spot on his front that hurt was a small bruise near his left nipple. That was good. He bent forward, flexing his back to check for sores there.

He debated whether he should check the last area of his anatomy. He decided not to, as he was just too paranoid that someone was going to stumble upon him. He chose instead to stand and begin doing stretches specifically designed to stretch the muscles and make the performer more flexible and graceful.
Itachi sat in the shadow of the trees watching every movement and muscle ripple Kisame staring right along with him. A strange sensation ran across his abdomen when Sasuke removed his shirt and his bare skin was visible. His own fingers ran across his skin searching for damage a wince crossed his face when a tender bruise on his nipple was brushed.

A shiver had to be repressed as he stretched and a bit of disappointment ran through his mind when his brother stopped the thorough check at his waist band.

"No offense to you or anything Itachi but you're brothers hot... Can I eat him?" Kisame asked silently from beside him staring with drool practically running across his chin.

"No. You may not eat him." Itachi said his eye twitching a little bit unnoticeable to anyone unless they where really watching his facial structure.

"Well... Then what can we do are we gonna let him get away?" Kisame asked confused.

"One we never really caught him two... No he's not going anywhere." Itachi answered truly amused by the day's progress. To think only this morning they where sitting around waiting for a hit to pass by so they could get their job done and go back to their cozy room with beds.
Sasuke just couldn't shake the feeling he was being watched. All of his senses, sight, hearing, touch the works, told him he was alone but for the animals. But some part in him just kept saying that a person was watching.

He shook his head to get rid of the creepy sensation. The sweat from his practices flecked off his face, and he was breathing heavily. He looked down at his shirt. He wrinkled his nose again.

"I'll have to wash it...And probably take a bath to." He mused out load. He looked around, wondering if a spring was anywhere near. He didn't see one, and he didn't want to leave wherever he was. He just felt like it wasn't smart to try and leave just yet.

"That Naruto. I'll show him. Nobody but Itachi has ever beaten me so thoroughly. And nobody ever will again." He said clenching his fists. He began plotting ways to hurt Naruto, as he rested on the ground for a short period of time.
Itachi stared interested to learn that someone named Naruto had done this to his brother. He could tell Kisame was growing bored and that wasn't a real good thing.

"Itachiii..." He moaned watching a rabbit hop across the area that Sasuke was occupying with his resting body.

"Shut up Kisame you'll get your entertainment soon enough." Itachi replied growing impatient with his partner's impatience.

"What are you gonna do?" Kisame asked curious.

"Nothing... Yet." He answered a smirk hidden in his voice.
