A small girl about five remained huddled into a dark corner of her room.Something shattered against the wall as her mother screamed out at someone.This made her move quickly into the next room as her soft amber eyes widend as a man preceeded to grab her mother.Everything seemed to move to slow for the girl.darting forward as she slid her kunai out she attempted to make a downward slice at the man.At that precise moment her mother chose to get in the way as if protecting the man who constently raped her.Blood splashed onto the girl's pale face as the kunai sunk deep into the older womans chest.After a moment or two the older woman sunk to the ground lifelessly.You little bitch look what you have done.The man shouted at her.Trembleing with fear as the man slowly made his way towards her she lifted her hand to block his fist.But as she did her black sand rushed forward slaming into the man hard.a sickening crack could be heard as his neck snaped.Blood smeared down the wall as his form fell to the floor.She stood there for a few moments in horror at what she had done.After what felt like days she finally turned and fled the house where she once lived.

/Comeing closer/

/hurry on,hurry on time it's going so fast./

/hurry on,I can't save you./

/Can't slow it down. You know this is your fate./

/Cry to the wind/

She soon stumbled then fell as tears splashed down her pale face mixing with the blood of her mother and father.The desert seemed to whisper to her as she remained on her knees.This is your fate,Are you so lonely?Turning her pale face to the sky as her sobbing grew louder.

/Furisosogu hikariwo abi tewo nobasu dokuomademo takaku/

She then lifted her blood stained hands as her small form trembled more as she smeared the blood across her face as she tried to wipe away the tears.Someone at that moment yelled out as they threw a rock towards her head.Monster,she heard them say as the rock smacked to back of her head.Sobbing more as the wind whispered again to her.

She screamed out as her black sand slamed into a nearby person wrapping around them.Silance filled the air as yet another body slumped to the ground. Again her eyes widened in fear as she had killed yet a third person in her young life.Looking around frantically for a place to hide she failed to notice a crowd gathering around her.

/Mewo tojita kimiga kireide unmenini bokuwa sakenda/

/Afuredasu nagareninomare tachitsukusu nasusubemo nakute/

That is when the whispering started.Hearing the word monster again she shifted her gaze from face to face as tears once again formed then splashed down her face.One person even shoved her as if dareing her to attack once more.Wimpering slightly she heard someone say.Why don't you just leave monster?

/No one hears, no one hears you/

/No one cares what you do/

/Can't slow it down you know this is your fate/

Again the wind seem to whisper to her as she stood up from when she fell. I cant save you,only you can save yourself. I am not a monster,she whispered softly before turning and heading towards the Kazekage's place.

Meanwhile at that same moment a six year old boy with black circles around his blue/green eyes was sitting on a swing. In his arm's he cradled a brown teddy bear as he slowly swung back and forth while watching the other kids play.Saddness loomed in his eyes while he remained where he was.A few moments later the ball which had been kicked around by the other children got stuck on the nearby cliff. Now is my chance,he thought as his sand floated down with the ball.Hey it's him,it's the monster,random children begun to say.His eyes widend as he heard the words comeing from them.As they turned and ran away from him,His sand rushed forwards killing a few while just injuring a few.He cried out as it happened,Wait don't leave me alone!.Dropping the ball as his uncle appeared with his arm out stretched to protect a small amber eyed girl from harm.After a few moments the blue/green eyed boy dropped the ball and headed home.Hours later he was sitting on the roof stareing at his small trembleing hands.

why me? Why am I the monster?

He covered his face with his hands as tears spilled down his pale face.

/Hey/

/I'm your life/

/I'm the one who takes you there/

Tears again formed then splilled down his face.A ninja stood a few feet behind the boy who was lost in his own thoughts now.a hand lifted then moved to one side sending a few dozen kunai towards the boy.Sand rushed upwards forming a shield to protect the boy.Eyes widend as the boy turned to face the older ninja.After a moment the man lifted his hand then moved it to one side again sending a dozen or more kunai towards the boy.Blue/green eyes then narrowed as his sand knocked the kunai away.The boy then lifted his hand curling his fingers slightly as his sand rushed forward then wraped around then older male ninja.

/Hey/

/I'm your life/

/I'm the one who cares/

Why does it always have to be me?He shouted out at the ninja as he lifted his hand higher.As he did so the sand wraped ninja tried to escape.Why me?Again he shouted just before he closed his hand into a fist.Blood splattered all around him as he then droped his hand.

/They/

/They betray/

/I'm your only true friend now/

Timidly he inched forward before lifting his hand and removeing the cloth that hid the ninja's face.The boy's eyes widend again in horror as he saw it was his uncle who tried to kill him this time.Please just die,his uncle sspoke in almost a whisper.Tears formed then spilled down his face once more as he heard the next set of words from the older man.Gaara-Sama you are as strong as I had hoped.You were never loved.Your mother died curseing this village and died hateing you.She never wanted you in this world,so please just die.His uncle then pulled open his flak jacket allowing the explodeing notes to light and blow himself up in hopes of killing little gaara off.But that would not happen as sand formed a protective shell around him.Digging his nails into the stone and sand he cried without sound.After a moment or two he then stood up only to scream as his sand tattoo'ed the kanji for love into the left side of his forhead.As that happened he vowed never to trust anyone again.I am gaara,I will only love myself.I will fight to prove my existence.After that his sand returned to him seeping inside him where the demon Shukaku resided.
