Sasuke lied down next to a silent Sakura. She faced the wall and didn't say anything but he knew she was awake. She hadn't said anything since they came back from training. Kakashi and Naruto didn't say much to them but they knew something had happened. Sakura's face was flushed and Sasuke was practically trembling when they showed up. Sasuke didn't dare look them in the face and he knew Sakura didn't either. So Kakashi dismissed everyone and Sasuke walked Sakura home. He expected Naruto would have at least offered to walk her home but he didn't. He realized things were just as awkward between Sakura and Naruto as they were with him. He wondered what happened between them and why they didn't speak to each other. Sasuke didn't dare ask at this moment. The walk home was silent. Sakura didn't glance in Sasuke's direction the least bit. He attempted a few words but they all went unanswered. It was painfully silent. Sasuke wished she would say something. Anything. He didn't care if she told him she hated him. He just wanted to know how she had felt about what happened. He didn't know what to say to make her speak so he just stared at her ceiling and reflected on what had happened at the training grounds.

He felt uncomfortable being on Sakura's bed with her. Especially since she wasn't speaking to him let alone facing him. Be he didn't want to leave her there alone. He knew he was showing unwanted emotion but he had no choice. Sakura knew he cared. He said he was sorry. He had held her. And it felt so good. What? Had he just thought that? He didn't know what to think of it. But he knew it had felt good. Whether it felt good because it had been so long since he had showed any emotion to anyone or if it was because he was attracted to her, he didn't know. Probably both. Yeah, probably both.

Sasuke was now letting his thoughts flow freely. He wasn't restricting them. And he was amazed at the density of them. Feeling Sakura breathing next to him… was it turning him it on? Yes. Not a moment was wasted before he realized it was turning him on so he turned slightly to look at her. Her hair was long again. He liked how the light pink strands gave in to gravity and fell so simply from her shoulders to her pillow then spilled over to the top of her sheets. He had always liked long hair. For a split second Sasuke remember how Sakura had cut her hair off at the Chunnin Exams. It doesn't matter, she was still beautiful. He thought. He then found himself lifting his hand to gently feel her silky hand between his fingers.

“Sasuke?”

He wondered if she knew he was going to touch her and mentally kicked himself for letting him get so lost in his thoughts.

“Yes, Sakura?” He waited for her response, waiting to be possibly yelled at for thinking it was okay to touch her. But he didn't care, she was speaking. That's all that mattered.

“Could you please get me a glass of water?” she sweetly asked. He knew she tried to smile when she said this even though her face was towards the wall.

He smiled. It was silly but he felt wanted for a second. She had asked him for something. Of course he would do it for her.

He heard her voice repeat in his head from earlier. “I would have done anything for you”

“Of course,” Sasuke answered back. He put his legs on the floor and sat up. She stayed facing the wall away from him. The sun was setting outside and it was giving the room an orange, almost red, glow. The sun faced directly towards the side of Sakura's house where her bedroom was which left the rest of her house slightly darker.

Sakura's house was very nice. It was decent sized and had more space than what was needed. She lived alone so she kept the 2 extra bedrooms as guest rooms. Sasuke knew Sakura was very successful in her life. She was a top medical ninja next to Tsunade and had become a better fighter than he had even imagined she was capable of. Sakura spent a lot of her time studying and becoming better at medicinal procedures. She treated a lot of fallen shinobi. She made it possible for Konoha soldiers to do things they were expected to be able to do again because of injuries. Sasuke was proud. He had expected his team members to flourish when he was gone but he never expected this.
Sasuke stood up and walked out of the room to retrieve Sakura's water.

Sakura listened as Sasuke walked out of the room. She couldn't fully grasp what had happened between the two of them. It made her angry as she thought about it. Sasuke has been back in Konoha for nearing 3 years. Did he think he could just avoid everyone for that long then a simple `Sorry,' would make everything better? It wouldn't. She pleaded to go with him. He left her. She had waited for him every day after that. She trained for him every day after that. She loved him every day. When Sasuke did return to Konoha he said nothing to anyone. Sakura was hurt. Didn't he know what they had done for him? Was he that ungrateful? Did their time and efforts go completely disregarded? Why now? Why would he thank her and seem to care now? Was he faking? There were so many questions running through her mind, she didn't know what to think. Did she love Sasuke? Of course. She always had and she knew no matter what happened she always would.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Sasuke's footsteps returning to her bedroom. She sat up. She didn't look at him. She only stared downward as Sasuke sat down next to her. She saw his hand reach over to her to giver her the glass of water. She pulled her face upward and forced a smile but didn't remove her eyes from the bed and accepted the water.

“Thank you.” She forced.

“You're welcome.” Sasuke responded. She could tell he was waiting for her to say something more but she really didn't care. She knew she should suck everything up and pretend to be her happy, giddy self as she had done this morning. But she couldn't. It was too much. She took a sip of water and it was extremely cold against her lips. She realized this was because she had so much anger flushing through her face. Did Sasuke realize it? Probably. Did she care? Not really. She didn't even know why Sasuke was here. She didn't know why he seemed to care. This was not the Sasuke she knew. She drew her eyes up to him. He looked startled as to whether he should say anything. She saw him try to drain the emotion from his face and almost laughed at his failed attempt. For someone who was so distant for so long, he sure was having a hard time hiding his emotions. She took another sip of her water than sat up to her knees so she could reach across the bed to set the glass on her nightstand. As she set the glass down she realized she was reaching right across Sasuke and her torso was unbelievably close to his. She tried to pull back to her original spot quickly hoping he wouldn't notice how close they were. But he did. And he acted on it.

She felt his hand lightly press on her waist motioning her to face him. She didn't know what took over her but she did. She turned to look at him and saw his familiar deep pitch black eyes filled with unfamiliar density. They had meaning. Emotion. She had never seen this in Sasuke before but it was right before her. She realized she was staring into his eyes and she also realized her body was still hovering over him. His face was so close their noses were almost touching. She tried to quickly retreat but he grabbed her wrist as she lifted her hand off the bed and pulled her back.

“Sakura, please say something to me.” Sasuke pleaded to her.

What did he want her to say? She didn't know so she said nothing. Just stared. Her anger melted away as she stared at him. His face still held that same innocence it always had but she knew it was a lie. She knew it but she didn't care. His hair was the same as it had always been and blended nicely with his new forehead protector. Sasuke was the same. He had the same slightly plump cheeks and the same flawless skin. His jaw was somewhat squarer but still held some of that childish shape that made him so cute. The one thing Sakura noticed about Sasuke that was manlier were his lips. They were fuller than before and spoke so differently than they ever had. She realized she was staring at his lips and knew Sasuke had noticed. Her face flushed unbearably.

“Do you want to kiss me, Sakura?” Sasuke's voice was deep and confident. It was almost cocky and she recognized it. It sounded like the same old Sasuke she had obsessed over years ago but the words were new. It was then when she registered the question in her head. Did she want to kiss him? [Of course you stupid bimbo!] Inner Sakura screamed at her. But she wasn't sure. What would this lead to? Did Sasuke want to kiss her? The thought of that question made her heart jump and before she could think of an answer she felt his hand on her face. She found herself staring into his eyes again, only this time he was staring back. He brushed the hair out of her face and pulled her body forcefully towards him causing her to sit on her knees. She was straddling him now. Wrapping the arm he used to pull her towards him around her waist, he repositioned her closer to him. She could feel her breasts pushing onto his chest and his hot breath on her neck. Her mind raced with questions and the thought of the possibility that Sasuke was drunk off Sake. But his breath didn't smell of Sake at all. She tried to understand how a sober Sasuke was underneath her at this very moment with his lips waiting for hers to touch his.

Both of his hands touched her face and all her thoughts completely disappeared. In that moment all she knew was the sudden feel of Sasuke's lips against hers. Her body gave in and sank into his without consulting her mind. Without thinking she licked her lips to taste Sasuke's. Then Sasuke tasted hers directly. His tongue lined the full of her lips before fully pushing into her mouth. Her tongue wanted to caress his. So she allowed it. She could tell this excited Sasuke because his tongue began to move deeper and more intimately in her mouth. He squeezed her and it felt so good.

Sakura let out a small moan when Sasuke wrapped his arms tightly around her. He knew she liked it. His hands raced from her waist to the front of her shirt. He pulled down the zipper forcefully revealing her undershirt. It was much tighter and he could tell her breasts were completely aware of situation. He pulled of the rest of her shirt and then tugged at her undershirt. The air between them was getting humid and crazily hot. The sun was almost set now and there was just enough light filtering through the sheer white curtains to see every curve under Sakura's shirt. She had grown up. From the way Sakura repositioned her hips on Sasuke's groin he knew that she was aware how grown he was as well. Sasuke made one more forceful tug at her shirt before Sakura flew back and breathed heavily.

Confused, Sasuke just sat there catching his breath staring at her.

“Sasuke…” Sakura managed to get out. “We can't do this!”
“Why?!” Sasuke immediately demanded.
“Because!”
“Because why?!” Sakura just looked at him. Why did she stop? Didn't she love him?

“Why are you refusing me?!,” Sasuke demanded once more, “You don't care for me anymore, Sakura?” His voice became gentler. He tried not to sound hurt but it was hard.

“Sasuke, I love you.” Sakura replied. “But…” she put her feet on the floor and stood up. Sasuke waited for her to finish her sentence but she didn't.

“But what?” Sasuke's voice wasn't loud but very demanding and confused, “Tell me.”

Sakura put her hands over her face and shook her head. He knew she didn't want to answer. Sasuke had no idea what was going on.

“You don't find me attractive anymore?” He asked that question like it was a last resort, like there was no other possibility. But he saw the redness in her face and instantly knew she was. He got up from the bed quickly and went to her. He stood in front of her. He pushed his face close to hers. She instantly pushed him away but he knew she didn't want to. Before Sasuke could get more than a few inches from her he retaliated and pushed himself into her until her back hit the door. He knew he was being forceful but he didn't care. He knew she wanted him and he wanted her just as bad. He pushed Sakura's hair to the side and kissed her neck. It wasn't forceful but he kept his hands on the door next to each side of her so she couldn't move or resist. He pushed his hips into her so she couldn't move as he lifted his hands to remove her shirt. It came off quite easily and he saw her nipples were erect which made her breasts look very full. Sasuke kissed the part on her chest above the middle of breasts and she moaned but pleaded him to stop. “Sasuke, please, you know this is isn't right.” It was what she spoke but her body responded completely differently and he knew she didn't want him to stop. Sasuke moved his mouth to her nipples and gently tugged at them with his teeth. Sakura let out a bigger moan than before and Sasuke went to her mouth.

Sakura's body and mind were going crazy with emotions. She loved the feel of Sasuke's tongue anywhere it wanted to be. She kissed him back. She couldn't move much because Sasuke had her trapped against the door but she really didn't care. She wrapped her arms around his neck and began to pull her legs up. He grabbed her thighs and pulled her up further so her legs could completely embrace his hips. With her legs wrapped around him and his arms around her, she could feel how hard he was beneath his clothes and she knew he could feel her own warmth. They were lined up perfectly and he pressed his erection into her. It hit the perfect spot so she threw her head back and let out the loudest moan yet.

Sasuke wanted desperately to take Sakura to the bed so he made sure she was wrapped tightly around him and began to back up towards the bed. It was pitch dark now and he couldn't see anything so he walked slowly. He didn't want to trip and fall and drop Sakura. He kept kissing her deeply until he felt the bed behind him. He turned around and laid her on the bed wasting no time to get on top of her. He grabbed her hands in case she decided to protest and held them down. He stared down at her letting his black hair fall towards her face. Sasuke licked his lips to remove what was left of Sakura's taste and leaned back in to kiss her. She kissed him back. It was all she could do considering Sasuke still had her hands pinned down.

He moved towards her neck and began to kiss it gently. She looked up at him hovering over her and could see a small bit of his chest down the neck of his shirt as her eyes adjusted to the dark. Sasuke was sexy. It was plain and simple and right in front of her. When he came up to look at her she noticed he was using his sharingan to be able to see her better in the dark. It made her blush that Sasuke would want so much to see her. She wanted to move her hands all over his body but he wouldn't release them. She stared at him and he stared back for what seemed forever while they were still trying to catch their breath. He leaned back in to kiss her again when there was a knock at Sakura's door. She tried to get up but Sasuke pushed her back down.

“It's not important,” he said quickly.

“Sasuke, let me answer the door. It could be important.” She sounded persistent so Sasuke released her hands and let her up. It was then that the knocking became pounding and Sakura realized she had no shirt on. Sasuke frantically looked for her shirt in the dark and found it lying by the door. He tried to pull it over Sakura's head as quickly as he could as the pounding became quicker. Sakura ran out of the room towards the door. Both of them were still out of breath when Sakura flung the door open.
