Chapter 2

Tenten walked into her room for the last time that day, at least it better be the last time. Tenten took off her shoes, and took a moment to look at her French pedicure toes. She then took off her pink jacket, let her hair out of it's buns, and heard her cell phone go off. She walked over to her phone and found out that it was a text message from Ino.

`U wearin' your new outfit tomorrow?'

Tenten quickly text her back.

`Don't kno, u?'

Tenten waited for a second.

`Me n' Sakura were goin to.'

Tenten then began to text her back.

`Sure, I'll wear it wit u guys.'

Tenten waited for one more second.

`Aright I'll see you tomorrow then.'

With that Tenten put her cell phone down, only to be stopped again by a knock at her door. Tenten had walked over to the door and swung it open. She was surprised to find Neji on the outside of her door.

“Oh!”

“Bad time?”

“No, just took my by surprise, I wasn't expecting it to be you.”

“Oh, well you got a minute?”

“Sure come in.” Tenten let Neji inside, and was happy that she took the time to lay her shoes neatly next to her closet, and was happy when her jacket was nowhere in sight. Neji sat on her bed, and she sat next to him. She looked him over and wasn't the least bit surprised when he no longer had a black eye, she heard that Hinata was good at healing people, so she figured Hinata must have helped him out a bit.

“I just came to thank you.”

“For what?”

“For going through the trouble of telling me that Hinata needs support not shame.”

“Well, I was just helping out a friend.”

“Can I ask you a question?”

“Uh, sure.”

“How do you declare somebody as a friend, and you've only been here for less then 24 hours.”

“I guess you can say that I try to see the good in people instead of bad.” That answer caused Neji to turn his head and look at her. Her hair went down to the middle of her back. He stared right into her brown eyes, and she gazed back.

“Is that why you came to talk to me?”

“Yeah…uhh yeah I guess you can say that.” Neji had caught Tenten off guard for she was still gazing into his beautiful violet eyes, she soon found herself thinking out loud.

“I like your eyes.” Tenten bit her lip once she realized what she just said.

“Thanks, but I like yours better.” Neji knew that she didn't expect him to say, but it was true.

“Thanks.”

“Well I guess I should go.” Neji said as he got up from the bed.

“Uhhh…yeah. Your not as bad as I thought you were.”

“Yeah, well I don't tend to socialize with people, unless I get to know them better.”

“So you think you know me, huh?”

“I think I have down pretty good.”

“Oh really?”

Tenten and Neji were at the door by now, and Neji turned around and gave her a kiss on the cheek. “Really.” Neji then walked out of her room, leaving her with a blank expression, and a faint blush.

“That'll teach me not to judge a book by it's cover.”

The next day

Tenten awoke to her alarm clock blaring, so she stuck her hand out to her right without opening her eyes, and turned off her alarm clock. She sat up and rubbed her eyes awake. She then got out her new pink outfit that she found with Ino and Sakura the previous day. She took herself a shower, and brushed her, she was about to put her up in her buns, until she got at text from Sakura.

`Did u do your hair yet?'

`Nope I was just bout' to do dat.'

`Well just brush it, were wearing our hair down today. I'll tell u da rest at lunch.

Chow !Sakura!'

Tenten decided it was time for a knew hair style, she's had this one ever since she was 13, it was getting very old. Tenten went to brush her hair, and grabbed her come to part her hair, then she laid some of her bangs over her right eye. Tenten then grabbed her things and headed for History, how she hated history, but the worst thing is that this guy named Deidara keeps bothering her. Mr. Asuma does seem to notice, and tries his best to keep the feminine looking male away from her, but that doesn't seem to work.

As she entered History she took a seat that was close to Mr. Asuma's desk. She figured that was a good move since Deidara sat in the back of the class. But what got me was what he was wearing. That was the second time he's worn that jacket, and it's not only him, there are more people that I've seen where the jacket. I guess it'd just some group, or a gang. I hope it isn't a gang. Deidara wore a black t-shirt, with what appeared to be black…capris. CAPRIS! That guy is soooo gay! He even had purple finger nail polish, which stands out, because he's wearing all black, with a black jacket with red clouds, the seemed to come all the way down to his ankles. Deidara had long blonde hair. It's funny, because he looks like a male version of Ino.

“Alright class, pop quiz!” Mr. Asuma said, while passing out papers. All the sudden a note landed on her desk, and it said on the front Tenten. Tenten opened up the note, not sure who it was from. Don't think just because you sit up there I wont have time to bother you. Oh great. Now Tenten just made herself a bully. She didn't even look back, she knew who it was she just took her pop quiz and waited for the class to end so she can head to algebra that Lee is in. He'll be in the rest of her classes until lunch.

Tenten's Schedule:

History- Deidara Bully.

Calculus- Lee

Creative Writing- Lee

Chemistry- Lee

P.E- Lee, and Sai person.

Lunch- I get to see Neji!...god I hope nobody sees this.

Art-Sakura

Choir- Ino, Hinata, and Naruto? I have no idea why he's in there.

Study Hall- Neji! Ino, Sakura, Sasuke, everybody else I met at lunch the other day.

Literature-Neji

Today was so funny, in creative writing Lee talked about how one time he stuck a rock up his nose, and couldn't get it out so he nearly stopped breathing. I wonder what made him stick a rock up his nose. He told me since his last name was rock, he wanted to have something to do with rocks. I laughed so hard. Also in Chemistry Lee put was to much chemicals into his test tube that it began to change colors, and then it exploded in his face. He got in trouble, but I was laughing so hard that I had to leave the room in order to catch my breathe. Now I'm sitting here with Lee eating lunch, watching him chug his food down his throat is quite disgusting.

“You must be really bored if your watching that pig eat.” Neji said.

“Uhhh…I guess so.”

“Did you eat yet?”

“Yeah.”

“Just be happy it wasn't Chouji, you would've lost your appetite.”

“I'm sure I would.” Tenten giggled. Which caused Neji and Lee to look at her.

“What?”

“I just can't get over how cute your giggle is!” Lee said out of the blue.

“…”

“What?”

“Nothing at all Lee.” Neji said.

“Tenten! You look soooo cute with your hair like that!” Ino said coming in with Kiba.

“Thanks, so do you.”

“Well I try not to flaunt it off.” Ino said which caused Tenten to giggle, and Lee said it was cute and they went through the whole process again.

“Ino! Tenten! I love your outfits!” Sakura said coming up with Sasuke.

“Sakura! I love your outfit!” Tenten said pretending to look surprised.

“Yeah! What a coincidence!” Ino said also pretending to gasp.

“Okay drop the act it's annoying.” Sasuke said.

“Everything's annoying to you.” Tenten said.

Sasuke raised an eyebrow. “ And don't forget it.”

“Sasuke, your saying it all wrong!” Naruto said coming up with Hinata. Sasuke rolled his and left towards the food, while everybody else sat down.

“Kiba why do you look so sad?” Hinata asked.

“They made me take Akamaru away.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, but it won't last, my dad will demand that they let me keep him here.” Kiba said with a grin. Shikamaru, Chouji, Temari, Kankuro, and Gaara came to the table.

“Well they should let you keep your dog, since they let Shino keep his bugs.” Said Naruto.

“Hey that's not funny.” Shino said, but nobody could see him. Then a figure stepped out of the shadows behind Tenten and touched her shoulder.

“Aaaahhh!” Everybody started laughing at the table.

“Shino got you…you should've…seen the…look on your…face!” Kiba said while laughing.

“Soooooooooo not funny.”

After lunch Tenten went through her classes as normal, and was sooo happy when she reached literature. She took a seat and was a tiny bit surprised when Neji sat next to her. But she was getting used too Neji surprising her that it wasn't even a surprise anymore.

She and Neji would chat every now and then during literature, they actually were conversating so much that they weren't paying attention to the time and when the bell rang they were in a hurry to get there things together.

Tenten was walking down the hallway with Neji next to here when somebody grabbed and pushed her into a wall. She wasn't the least bit surprised when it was Deidara but was surprised when he raised his fist at her. When it came swinging down, it stopped inches away from it, she looked over and was happy that Neji was walking with her. She saw his eyes, and they were the same as when he was fighting Naruto. By the look on Deidara's face something was about to go down.

“Well, well, well.” Deidara said with a smirk on his face. “The Hyuuga boy wants to save some girl.” Neji just tightened his grip and pulled his fist away from Tenten's face.

“Nice grip there kid.” Neji still did not speak, instead he threw Deidara's wrist down, and returned his eyes back to normal, as if to say that Deidara was a waste of his time, which I'm sure he was. Deidara caught the message and you could see the anger etched on his face. Deidara put his gloved hand in his pocket. When he brought his hand back up he hit Neji so fast that not even he could see the move. That must've had something to do with the fact the he let his eyes go back to normal.

When Neji got up his eyes were back to being strained, and you could see the many veins running through them. He was in the back of Deidara with a blink of an eye. Tenten saw Deidara slide all the way down the hall which caught other people's attention. Deidara hoped up and threw what looked like clay an the ground. Tenten looked at them in confusion, until they began to run towards her and Neji with speed. Tenten quickly got out a couple of daggers, and her custom made numchucks. She threw the knives with little effort, and hit one directly. The other one sailed all the way down the hall stuck Deidara's jacket, and stuck it to the wall. Deidara looked at his jacket and had to say he was a bit impressed, they were far. It was a long hallway, they were at least 300 meters away from each other, that's 3/4 of a track.

Tenten grabbed her chucks, and began to spin them around like somebody would do to show off they're skills on a martial arts movie. She then began to strike with her chucks, and completely obliterated every single one of Deidara's little `munchkins'. Neji on the other hand decided to strike with either the palm of his hands, or what appeared to be the tips of his fingers. I looked rather painful, not only for the enemies, but also for Neji himself. It only took Neji one hit, and his opponent would double over in pain, or spitting blood. Tenten heard of stories about how Hyuuga's could kill within five simple strikes because they could see all of your weak points, but she never really believed it until now. She was happy that Neji was on her side instead of Deidara's, or else she wouldn't even stand a chance.

Tenten hit one of Deidara's `friends' and instead of it turning into dust it flew towards Neji who rotated and striked the clay thing so that it would fly towards Deidara, who got clocked in the head by his creation, and he decided that he had enough of horse playing. He threw the dagger that Tenten had once thrown to him, and hit Tenten in her leg. He wasn't impressed by his throw for he had been aiming for at least her shoulder.
