The village was getting back to normal. The Christmas Festival was still going to go on. The whole village was very wary of Naruto. The only person who put all of her faith in him was Hinata. Hinata and Naruto have seemed to have grown a little bit close to each other.
The snow blanketed the village. As the sun shined the snow sparkled and glimmered. Small tufts of smoke came out from the houses. And of course, there were plenty of decorations. The small rainbow colored lights gleamed from the roof tops. Wreaths were nailed to the outside of doors. It was the perfect Christmas scene. Every house was decorated. Except for Naruto’s.
Hinata stood pigeon toed at Naruto’s door. A large box was by her side on the floor. She went to knock but then hesitated. Okay, do it. Knock on the door… It won’t bite… Hinata closed her eyes then knocked on the door. There was a loud rustling then the door swung wide open.
“Hey Hinata!” Naruto yelled gleefully. “What’s up?” Hinata’s face turned a faint shade of pink.
“Well N-Naruto…” She said in a small voice. “I was wondering if I c-could help you decorate for C-Christmas and.” She was cut off by Naruto.
“Sure Hinata! That would be great!” He picked up the box and ushered Hinata inside.
Hinata was taken aback by the large crack in the wall. The house was a mess.
“It’s a bit messy.” Naruto said sheepishly. He was being much to modest. There was a thick coating of dust and dirty dishes were every were.
“I’ll clean it” Hinata said in her soft bird like voice. Naruto nodded happily.
“As long as I can help!” Hinata nodded. They quickly got to work. After about an hour the dishes were neatly put away. Naruto’s weapons were put neatly in the bottom of his dresser. There was a sheen to all of the furniture. It was perfect.
Hinata had sat down on the couch. Naruto said he’d make her some ramen. But after a few seconds, she found herself drifting off to sleep.
A while later Naruto woke her up. Hinata blinked then realized were she was.
“A-All right I think we can decorate n-now.” Hinata said. Naruto leaped in the air.
“ALRIGHT!” He shouted.
