Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ I've met you before ❯ Meetings ( Chapter 1 )

It was a clear blue morn and Team 7 is at their meeting place at the bridge… Sasuke can be seen with an annoyed look, Sakura her usual dreamy look, and Naruto is getting really pissed off because of their really late (A/N: I MEAN REALLY LATE) jounin.

"Where the hell did that excuse for a jounin go!!!" Naruto suddenly shouted.

"Naruto be quiet! Im trying to rest here." Sakura said. Sasuke just kept silent.

5 minutes passed…. 10… 15…. Then, *poof* "Sorry guys, got lost in the…" a silver-haired jounin appeared.

"…way of life. We know!!!!" Sakura and Naruto shouted.

"Hehe, you know me very well." Kakashi said. "Okay… the reason I called for this meeting is because the Hokage… assigned Team 7 for another mission."

"Mission?! Why didn't you tell us earlier?!" Naruto screamed.

"Um… excuse me… am I interrupting something?" a voice spoke.

The three shinobis turned around and saw a girl about their age with gentle mint green eyes, brown hair that almost reached her slim waist, and a very delicate face.

"Um… Kakashi-sensei, are they your students?" the girl spoke.

"Yes, they are. Now… the three of you face me…" None responded. "TEAM 7!!!"

"Hai sensei!" The three responded, each of them having their own thoughts.

"Ok… now, this girl in front of you is your new team mate, do you understand me?" Kakashi said.

"Hai"

"Her name is Kari Akegata…" Kakashi was cut-off.

"You mean the late Akegata clan?!" Naruto asked.

"Wow" Sakura whispered then looked as Sasuke, who was looking at Kari emotionlessly. But under this mask, familiar feelings begun stirring.

Why is it that its as if I've known her before? He thought.

Sakura noticed that Sasuke has been looking at the new girl for sometime, her inner-self suddenly came out. [Inner Sakura: Hey Sasuke! why don't you look at me like that!!!] but her outer-self was calm.

"Yes… she is from that clan" Kakashi continued. "Now as I was saying, before this shinobi interrupted me, she came to the custody of the Hokage… now, as for her temporary home, she would be living with our Uchiha."

Sasuke went wide-eyed, so did the other three. "Why with me?" Sasuke asked.

"Yeah! Why with him?!" Naruto repeated, obviously not approving the earlier statement. Sakura looked stunned.

"Because they have more trust in me more than you" Sasuke told Naruto.

"Why you!"

"Quiet all of you, it was the Hokage who decided, he said that he has reasons but wouldn't tell me"

Sasuke had been thinking all the time, Its not that I don't like her living with me, but im afraid of something I just couldn't place my hands on! He looked at Kari who is talking with Naruto. "I suppose you're Uzumaki Naruto, nice to meet you" she stretched her hand out.

Naruto literally blushed as he took her hand. "H-hai"

She then turned to Sasuke. She again offered her hand "Uchiha Sasuke? I know its weird but I got the feeling I've known you before."

She has the same feeling?! Sasuke thought as he took her hand.

"Im Haruno Sakura, I suppose you know me" She suddenly grabbed Kari's hand away from Sasuke.

Kari was somehow surprised, but she still smiled "Hai, you are the most intelligent kunoichi around as I have heard."

Sasuke frowned. "You've forgotten, the most annoying" he said

Sakura blushed with fury. Her inner-self shouting every curse she could think of at Kari. [Inner Sakura: I don't mind if she takes Naruto but she wont get my Sasuke-kun!!]
