Kari decided to go to Tsunade later that day, Sasuke asked if she wants him to go with her, but she declined. A while ago she was just inside the village of Konoha, the next thing she knew, she was walking in circles in a forest.

===KARI'S POV===

Actually, I had no intention of going to Tsunade-sama, and I have no intention of getting lost in this forest! But then, I knew it was my unconscious mind that led me here, but why? I shouldn't have left Sasuke's house, I've never been to this part of the forest, but here I feel at peace, much like when Sasuke hugged me. I looked up, I can feel the rays of sunlight caressing my face, I smiled. I lowered my head, I saw something moved, I could hear my heart beating at my chest. Why did I suddenly felt scared? I turned around to run away, but a silhouette form has already blocked my path. It was coming towards me, I tried to move but my feet wont let me, I found my self rooted at the same spot I have been, then I found myself looking at those jade eyes I've always known, the eyes of the one I used to love, then I understood. Now standing in front of me is Gaara of the sand.

"So, I've finally found you at last…" Gaara said.

"What… are you doing here? What do you want?!"

"I've come here, for you…" Then he suddenly walked towards Kari, slowly, a creepy smile forming in his lips. Kari, stunned in seeing Gaara again, still can't move. He is just footsteps away from her when she finally gathered the will to move, she started to back away but the tree behind her made it impossible for her to move any further.

"Do you have nowhere else to go?" his smile widened.

Kari shuddered, "What are you planning to do?" her voice cracked.

"This…" He lowered his head then brushed his lips to her. Kari's eyes widened as tears started to pour down her eyes, Gaara noticed this and wiped it away as he deepened the kiss.

Why is he doing this?! Kari thought, I don't deny that I've longed for this. But I don't know if I still wanted this now I've met Sasuke again.

Gaara's hand crept up her face, pinning her to the tree. He felt Kari's hesitation, but soon enough, Kari closed her eyes and relaxed, finally returning the kiss.

Then suddenly somebody shouted. "Kari!"

Kari then suddenly realized that she was still kissing Gaara. She quickly pulled away, and looked at the direction of the voice, only to see…

"Sasuke…" Gaara whispered.

Kari looked into Sasuke's eyes, was it anger she saw? Sorrow? Or jealousy? "Sasuke…I…" she started.

"I think im disturbing, so maybe I'll just leave now."

"Yeah, you better." Gaara said with a smirk. Kari just bowed her head, unable to look at Sasuke.

"I'll just leave the door open, if any case you'll be coming home."

"Don't worry, she's on her way back to our village, that's what I came here for." Gaara replied.

"Fine" Sasuke then left the two alone.
