Unknown Beyond the White Ribbon
Kyomi woke up and got ready for the day, the sun was just beginning to rise. She loved sunrises. She took a shower, brushed her hair and teeth, and got dressed for the day.
Kyomi decided to go out for breakfast. She stopped by Ginsora's room but, she was gone.
*Must be out training. Like always.*
Kyomi walked out of the hotel and stared at the sunrise for another minute until she moved on. She didn't want to go back to the ramen restaurant. She found a place that served sushi instead. She pointed to the big poster advertising their special instead of actually answering her waiter. Kyomi felt the ribbon in her hair come undone. She swiftly pulled it out. Then she felt like someone was looking at her. Kyomi looked around there was only a group of ninja four tables across from hers. A woman with black hair was talking to a girl with dark blue short hair. A boy was giving scraps of his food to a small puppy. Then, there was a guy with sunglasses on, and a big gray jacket. With those sunglasses on he could be sleeping for all Kyomi knew. Her meal arrived. She paid for it and went outside to eat it somewhere else. She found a bench and sat down. As Kyomi ate she watched the sun finally rise completely. She finished her meal and put it in the trash can next to the bench. Kyomi watched the sunlight slowly stretch across the ground and climb up her. She closed her eyes as it passed over her face. She opened her eyes and then she saw the group of ninja walk out of the restaurant.
The boy with the dog was still eating. “Sure you don't want this Shino?”
“Yes,” said the boy with the sunglasses.
*Shino*
Shino walked out of the restaurant wondering about the girl that had been there. He had told Kiba he could have his food. Kiba was happy.
Just as Shino walked out of the restaurant he looked a few buildings down, where the girl was sitting she closed her eyes as sunlight hit her.
*Wow.*
Kiba suddenly spoke up, “What'cha looking at Shino.” He looked at the girl. “Oh, I get it. Shino's got a crush.”
Shino didn't say anything and kept walking.
Shino looked at Kyomi then the boy with the dog said something to him and he turned and walked away.
Kyomi got up and headed back to the hotel. Maybe someone else was up.
After getting everyone out of shock, Ginsora told them she was going to head back to the hotel.
“Wait, I come with you,” Lee said. “That is if you would like me to.”
Ginsora felt herself blush.
*Oh great I just realized he's way more cute than he was in my vision. Perfect.*
“Umm, sure.” Ginsora could still feel herself blushing. They walked away leaving behind two people with wide open mouths and a sensei beaming.
*If that guy keeps beaming like that, he's going to be classified as a UFO. {Unidentified Freaky Object})*
Ginsora pushed it out of her mind but planned to tell the others later. Lee started talking to her, asking many questions.
“So who are you traveling with?” He asked.
“Friends.”
“What about your family?”
“Dead.”
Lee grew silent.
A silent seconds passed by and it was too quiet.
“It's no big deal,” Ginsora said. “It's been 6 years. It doesn't bother me much anymore.” She smiled at him. “Besides, I found friends and now we go everywhere. Traveling is fun.”
They came to the hotel.
Ginsora looked at Lee.
“Umm, thanks for-,” she didn't finish her sentence.
“Ginsora!” It was coming from the mouth of no other but Umi. She ran out the door to Ginsora.
“Ginsora my TV broke again. Come fix it…..again!”
“Umi, didn't the hotel already give you another one?”
“Yes but it broke. Now please come fix it. You're the smart one after all.”
“Ok, I'll be there in a minute.”
“Yay!” Umi skipped back into the hotel.
Ginsora looked back at Lee. He was quiet.
“I've got to get her to stop touching electronics. Hey, why don't you meet me at the ramen bar at 12:00 for lunch?”
Now Lee's face turned red. This girl had just asked him to have lunch.
*Wait what am I supposed to say?*
“Yes.” It was all that came out of his mouth.
“Good,” Ginsora walked to the door and opened it. “Oh, and thanks again.”
She turned and walked into the hotel.
As Lee watched her turn around he could have swore she winked at him. He stood there dumfounded until he heard voices shouting his name. It was his squad.
“Lee, what was that about?” asked Tenten slightly out of breath.
