It's who she is.

 

Kyomi looked over the hospital bed where Ginsora was laying. Bandages were around her arms, legs, and even skull.

Neji: I want an explanation Kai.

Kai: Don't look at me, Kara's second in command.

Kara: Please, I know we have explaining to do, but we don't want to do anything until Ginsora's up.

Kai looked over to Ginsora and Lee sitting beside the bed holding her hand.

Kai thoughts: They aren't used to that kind of fighting I suppose.

Tenten: I'm sorry but how can we ignore this? We want to know something.

Umi: Well, it's kind of a long story.

Kai thought back to what had happened. It had been that Ginsora was going to join Gai's team to capture a run away ninja. Who knew it was a decoy to trick Ginsora? Also, the Tyokogohn prevented her from seeing any of it, or did she see part of it?

Kai thoughts: Do you know you transformed? Do you know he found you sooner than expected? Did you see any of this?

Kara: Kai?

Kai: What?

Kara: They deserve to know and the reports say Ginsora won't be up for a week at minimum. We'll just go in order.

Kai: I knew this would come. Look, I met Ginsora when we were 8. It wasn't the way normal people met. The day we met she saved my life, but I guess I'm getting a little ahead. I grew up here, in Kohona. My father traveled so my mother and I often went to certain places to see him. It was a trip to the Hidden Sand Village, when my mother and I were walking along a road. All of a sudden something came out of the forest. It was some kind of creature that stuck its claws through her neck and ripped her body in half.

Sakura: That's horrible.

Kai: I'm not done yet. I remember running to someone and a few hours later my father hugging me and crying. After that I came back to Kohona to live with Kakashi but, sometimes my father came back to take me on trips. We were walking through a forest then, heading for the gate of the Hidden Cloud Village when my father stopped walking. I stared at him and saw a line of blood across his face.

Kai dragged her finger from one ear to the other through her lips.

Kai: Then, that part of my father's skull fell off. I screamed and then heard laughing above me. I saw a man hidden by a shadow and I remember he was throwing some kind of weapon at me and I was so scared that I froze. It never hit me because Ginsora had blocked the attack and pulled me underground to hide. We've been friends since that day.

Naruto: Wow.

Kai: I'm out of here before I burn down the wall.

Kai lightly strolled out of the room.

Kara: Umi, you're next.

Umi: Well, I guess you could say my past isn't that bad. Kai hates me for forcing her and Ginsora take me with them. I belong to the richest clan in the Cloud Village. I didn't have friends; they came for the money and free stuff. I'm 9, and I've seen my Mother twice and my father once. They were and still are wrapped up in traveling and business. So when I found Ginsora and Kai were in the village I paid guards to capture them and threatened to turn them in because Ginsora had a certain reputation that you'll learn more about. They agreed and I ran away with them. They're my best friends.

Yuki: At least you remember your past. I don't remember mine.

Tenten: How can you not know your past?

Yuki: After whatever happened to me I had some accident that caused me to lose my memory. Umi, Kai and Ginsora know it but they won't tell me.

Umi: You don't want to know Yuki.

Yuki pouted and sunk down in her chair.

Kara: Kyomi?

Kyomi looked at Kara and covered her heart with her hand.

Kara: I'll tell it.

Kyomi walked over to Ginsora's bed and placed her hand on Ginsora's forehead. Kyomi's hand started to glow green.

Kara: Kyomi's always been a highly skilled medical ninja. When she joined us she had the most terrible night of her life. She told her past to Ginsora so I only now the main ideas. Kyomi and her family were camping when enemy ninja attacked them. Kyomi's parents were killed instantly, but Kyomi had run away with her younger brother. They came to a waterfall and had no choice but to jump or be caught by the ninja. Kyomi held onto her brother but lost him on the way down. She resurfaced to find a sword at her head from one of the enemy ninja. That's when Ginsora found and saved her. Ginsora brought her back to the camp and she refused to speak to anyone but Ginsora.

Yuki: Later I went back to the waterfall and found out her little brother had drowned.

Ino: Oh my.

Umi: Hey, wait to you hear Kara's.

Sakura: Kara?

Kara: I kind of grew up without my parents. My father died before I was born and my birth caused my mother problems.

Choji: What problems?

Kara: After my birth she was paralyzed and hasn't moved since that day. I was raised by my older sister. My mother was sent to the Waves Village to get better so one day after we had visited her, we got on a boat to leave. I stayed below in a cabin and my sister went down the hall. It happened really fast. Before I knew it, the boat was upside down and I was thrown against the one porthole window in the cabin. The pressure made the window break and I was pushed out into the water. I didn't know how to swim so I started panicking but I relaxed long enough to grab a piece of wood off of the boat. I floated up but, I remember looking down and seeing my sister's face in a window. I guess she took her last breath at that moment. When I hit the air I kind of paddled to a small strip of land where I fell asleep and where Yuki and Umi found me. My mother's still there but, I haven't gone back.

Ino: Why haven't you gone back?

Kara: Because it's my fault my mother's like that. If I hadn't been born she wouldn't be strapped to a hospital bed living on machines. She'd be home and my sister would be alive.

Yuki: Kara it's his fault.

Naruto: Who's?

Kara: I think you better hear Ginsora's past before we tell you about him. The only one who can really tell it is Kai because she can see into Ginsora's mind and it'll be a week before Ginsora's up.

Umi: And I'm not a very good story teller.

Naruto: Well I want to hear it.

Naruto runs out followed by everyone else.

Umi looked back at Lee, he hadn't moved.

Umi: Come on Lee, it's not like she'll run away.

 

Umi eventually pulled Lee away from Ginsora and to an open field where the others were.

Sakura: Why do we have to be in an open field?

Kai: I might get mad and burn something. Alright Ginsora comes from the Tenshi clan that was nearly wiped out.

Naruto: By who?

Sakura hits Naruto on the head.

Sakura: Shut up Naruto!

Kai: Ginsora was the heir to the main ninja warriors of the Tenshi clan. Her father was the village's leader. Her family included her parents, her older sister, and her younger brother. She was destined to become a powerful ninja and follow in her father's footsteps but, her mother forbid her to be a ninja. There wasn't a choice though she was given two gifts on her 6th birthday, the Tyokogohn, and she was implanted with the twin tailed wolf demon. This demon is one of the legendary tailed beasts but, she's a bit different.

Naruto: She?

Kai: Yes, the tailed beasts all hold great power but the wolf's job was-well is protection. To protect Ginsora and give her amazing power. I guess I should start with the day Ginsora's older sister, Kusari, was killed.

Kai took a deep breath.

Kai: It was a normal day for Ginsora. She was 7 and was heading home after her and Kusari had been on the other side of the Tenshi compound to say hi to some friends. Kusari told Ginsora to run into a shop and get something for her but, when Ginsora came back out Kusari was gone. It only took a few minutes for Ginsora to find her. Ginsora walked onto a field and found that Kusari was there. She was lying on the ground her throat ripped open. At that point Ginsora screamed than noticed someone standing over Kusari with a bloody kunai.

Naruto: Who was it?

Kai: Uchiha. Itachi Uchiha.

Sasuke: Itachi!

Sasuke tightened his hands into fists.

Kai: Cool it Sasuke……………………..Anyways, Ginsora's parents were heartbroken as was Ginsora. Kusari was buried in their garden and Ginsora was so upset but, was comforted when her best friend Kortai came. Kortai and her had been friends for years and Ginsora did develop a crush on him. After the funeral there were two days of peace before a letter came to her house. It was a request for her father to join a group of their top elite ninja and fight.

Naruto: Fight who?

Kai: Kohona ninja. There was a disagreement, between the Hidden Rock Village and this village, about land.

Sakura: Wait I think I've read about that. I believe that was the battle of Shinzo-chi?

Kai: Yes. Half of the Tenshi clan was lost in that battle and it was three months before Ginsora's father returned home. They had received a letter saying he would be home the next day. It was 2:00am when he walked up to the house. Ginsora woke up from her sleep and looked out her window. She saw him walk through the front door and ran to the main room to meet him. She was about to open the sliding door that lead to the room when she heard her father and her mother arguing. They had argued before so Ginsora slid the door open about an inch and saw something worse than her sister's death. Her father took out his sword and slashed at her mother. He was so quick with that sword that she probably only felt it for a second. Her mother couldn't scream, blood gushed from her neck and then she fell to the floor. Her head rolled away from her body.

Everyone gasped.

Kai: Hey, I didn't say this story was pretty. Anyways that's only half of it…….Ginsora was so scared she didn't move and her father exited the house. She couldn't do anything but go to bed. She woke up the next morning and found her mother's body in the same state. After crying for hours she went to check on her little brother, Kin. Thankfully, he was fine. Ginsora eventually went outside and found probably the worst damage. Only about 1/6 of the Tenshi compound was standing. The rest had been burned to the ground, by Orochimaru.

Naruto: So her father's in league with Orochimaru?

Kai: On with the story… Ginsora walked through the compound worried sick about her friend Kortai. They eventually found each other. He was worried Ginsora had been killed too. She told him what happened to her mother and he in turn said that in the fire is older brother's died because they helped him escape. His mother had fought and died in the battle, so he only had his father left. They went around to other people and I guess that's when the fear started rising. A katana flew towards Ginsora but Kortai pulled her out of the way. All the villagers blamed her for the mess they were in.

Tenten: Why would they blame her?

Kai: Because of two reasons, 1 the twin-tailed wolf demon and the other reason I'll tell you later. Kortai helped Ginsora escape the villagers that were filled with hatred and back to her own home. He told her why they blamed her and she couldn't believe it, none of it was her fault. It came to the next day and Ginsora went outside to leave her home and she barely dodged 100 kunais. The villagers were so mad and had no one else to turn their anger on. This was where Kortai was helpful again; he snuck her out at night so they could go get food. Ginsora's father had disappeared that night so it was only her and Kin. Kortai was always so nice to her.

Kai closed her eyes and gritted her teeth. She quickly took out her sword, turned around and with a fire jutsu, made a track of burned earth 6 feet deep. She turned back around.

Kai: Sorry I get mad when I have to say Kortai's name so much.

Naruto: Why?

Sakura: Shut up Naruto and she'll tell us.

Naruto being mad about being hit by Sakura again moved to sit by Hinata, who was half crying, and half blushing.

Kai: Anyways one night Kortai and Ginsora were returning to her home. Kortai had just said goodbye and Ginsora was about to go inside when she stopped by a window and looked in to see Kin was sound asleep. Then she remembered she had told Kin to stay away from the windows. She was scared she would lose him and that night it became a reality. She stood there only for a minute until she saw something fly past her head, through the window and into her brother. There was an exploding tag on the kunai that hit him in the stomach. In turn other exploding tags were set off and the whole mansion exploded. Ginsora looked and found Kin.

Sakura (Crying now): Was he ok?

Kai: A piece here, a piece there. He would have been, if he were a jigsaw puzzle you could mold back into one piece.

More gasps.

Kai: Well sure Ginsora was shocked by that. She ran to the only person she knew, Kortai. She ran to a building he and others were staying in. She shouted his name while crying about her brother. Kortai came to the window and started saying that everything would ok. He was there for her. Ginsora smiled and then his expression changed from comfort to hatred. He yelled “NOW. She's here!” Ginsora was immediately surrounded by all the remaining ninja in the Tenshi compound. She asked Kortai “Why?” He responded, “My brothers it's your fault they're dead!” Kortai was not Ginsora's friend, he betrayed her.

More gasps, more crying.
