Genjutsus and Butterfly Kisses

Ginsora tripped in the darkness while feeling around the stone tunnel with her hands. She caught herself and stood back up.

Ginsora thoughts: How did I end up in this mess anyways? Oh yeah, we decided to come to Kohona. I knew we shouldn't have, I was all for turning and going to Suna. I wonder how the others are.

(To Kai and Umi-stuck in a Genjutsu)

Kai thoughts: I'm pink....pink.....pink.....pink

Kai: I CAN'T TAKE IT!!!

Kai releases a fire attack on a nearby tree.

Umi: Kai calm down.

Kai YOU'RE NOT CHANGING COLORS!!!

Umi: *Well, I now know how much she hates pink.*

Kai: I can still hear you I'm not angry enough to cut the mind link yet.

(Kara and everyone else in Kohona)

Kara sat on her bed blushing as her face seemed to rise like a hot air balloon. Kiba was asleep in his bed a few feet from her.

Kara thoughts: I can't believe it, he-he kissed me.

There was a small knock at the door before it opened and Ino stepped in.

Kara: Ino? What are you doing here?

Ino took a glance at Kiba sleeping and quietly walked over to Kara.

Ino whispering: Kara, I didn't want to worry you but, Kyomi, Kai, and Umi were all found unconscious in the forest and Umi and Kai have been placed under a Genjutsu.

Kara whispering: What! Where are they?

Ino: Next room to the right.

Kara stood up and Ino walked cautiously by her side not wanting her to fall. Kara hurried as fast as she could to the next room and with a little effort opened the door. Three beds were on one side of the room. Kyomi, Kai and Umi were all in them, eyes closed. It was a second later Kara noticed Shino was sitting by Kyomi staring at her well at least that's what it looked like, Kara couldn't really tell since he had those sunglasses on. Looking over each of them they had injuries. Kyomi had about a dozen small scratches on her arms, Kai had a cut across her forehead and Umi had a bruise on her right shoulder. Kara sat down because of her weakness from her injuries and Ino seemed to begin pacing. Suddenly, everyone heard hurrying feet along the hallway. They listened as the door in the next room was opened quickly then slammed shut. Then their door flew open and Tenten stood there panting a bit.

Ino: Tenten? What's wrong?

Tenten: It's Lee, he's gone!

Kara: Oh no!

Tenten: No one can find him.

Kara shakily stood up.

Ino: No you don't, you're going back to your room and right back in bed!

Kara: But-

Ino: Yeah, your but, get back in bed.

Ino hurriedly pushed Kara back into her bed and followed Tenten outside the hospital where almost all the genin teams were gathered. Ino was shocked, Tsunade was even there.

Tsunade: Ok when was the first time anyone noticed him missing.

Neji: Ten minutes ago.

Sakura: He shouldn't be moving especially since his neck was cut like that, if the right muscles put enough pressure on his throat he could die.

A nurse came rushing out.

Nurse: Yuki Chikara has disappeared too!

Tsunade: Lee and now Yuki? Has the area where Ginsora disappeared been searched?

She turned to Hinata and Kerenai.

Hinata: Yes, that's where we discovered Kai, Umi, and Kyomi.

Tsunade: I want all you Jonin searching the forest for clues.

Tsunade thoughts: How are we going to get out of this?

(To Kyomi, Kai and Umi.)

Kyomi opened her heavy eyes to a bright light and then switched her gaze to someone standing next to her. She felt the sheets below her and knew she was on a bed.

Kyomi thoughts: Shino...

They stared at each other not daring to blink. (Although you probably couldn't tell if Shino did.) Shino leaned forward getting close and closer.

(Don't worry I won't make it like the last kiss and annoy everyone.)

It seemed like hours before they were face to face. Kyomi knew there was a starry pink blush coloring her cheeks.

Kyomi: Shino...

Kyomi rose up a bit more until there was just a whisper between her and Shino's lips.

(You know I really like Kyomi's and Shino's relationship. There's few words needed and I realize people might get mad at me if there's not enough detail about a kiss so...)

Kyomi lost her breath at once and relished at how just a simple kiss could pull all of the air out of your lungs in an instant. The kiss was quick, just a peck but she felt the shadow of Shino's lips still on hers as he pulled away. She forgot how to breathe and could only set there stunned as she ran the last few seconds over in her mind. Soft lips, like the wings of a butterfly brushing against her own, heat filling her and a sense of being somewhere distant, somewhere new. It transported her to a completely different universe.

Kakashi bent down picking up the rusted chain, there was blood on the floor, and small puddles of water sent blue electricity on invisible paths across the stone floor. He activated his sharingahn and saw the last few scenes that occurred. The empty shell falling to the ground, the wall moving, and the familiar long silver hair.

Kakashi thoughts: Now where would she go?

Kakashi left the underground chamber and headed back to Kohona.
