What We Waited For

 

Lee took Ginsora's face in his hand and turned her face towards him.

Her green eyes now sat pale and contrasted boldly against his dark onyx eyes.

Emerald & Onyx, green & black.

Ginsora's face flustered and changed to a dark pink.

Lee: I never told you.

Ginsora: Told me what?

Lee smiled and flashed his strange trademark pose. Ginsora laughed feeling slightly light as a feather.

Lee: I have never told you how beautiful you are.

Ginsora blushed a deep shade of red and heard the heart monitor she was hooked up to sped up. Lee took both of her hands in his and looked desperately at her.

Lee: Ginsora-chan please be my girlfriend and remain in Kohona with me.

Ginsora gasped her blush growing even darker, the heart monitor going faster.

Lee: Please Ginsora-chan?

Ginsora: Lee I can't Orochimaru is still-hmm

All Ginsora could hear now was the heart monitor going crazy as Lee's lips fell onto hers. She only closed her eyes and fell deeply into the kiss that she had seen in the past and the kiss that would now seal her future. The heart monitor sped up a bit more as Lee's hands ran along Ginsora's arms and wound around her waist. Lee had mostly ignored the heart monitor thinking it was quite unfair he could hear her heart beating faster in his presence but now he smiled into the kiss knowing what the fast heartbeat meant.

Ginsora resisted the urge to shiver as Lee's hands danced along her lower spine. She was afraid to move but smiled in return when she felt Lee smile into the kiss.

Ginsora thoughts: So sweet…

Lee's lips left Ginsora's and made her lips feel cold.

Lee: Please remain in Kohona Ginsora-chan.

Ginsora's pale green eyes flew to the window again staring at the birds flying freely, with no care but their selves and possible families. Their selves, a selfish thought but maybe once in awhile you should think only of yourself when you're deciding your future.

Lee: Ginsora-chan?

Ginsora looked back to Lee to find his face so close to hers. She blushed a bit deeper and heard the heart monitor speed up again even thought she was sure it was well past her maximum heart rate.

Lee: Stay with me.

His eyes searched out the answer in hers. Ginsora smiled and leaned forward placing her lips on Lee's. He smiled into the kiss again knowing Ginsora's answer. His hands left her waist, one favoring to run through her hair the other slowly brushing her cheek. Ginsora shivered under his touch and listened again as her heart beat increased.
