Chapter 1: Friendship formed at the time of Loss
Author note: Okay, this is my first fan-fiction – like ever! Believe it or not it’s true. Anyhow, I am huge Naruto fan and even a bigger Kiba fan. In the story the characters are all 18 years old – except for Neji and co (that’s if I use them).
Disclaimer: Unfortunately for me I don’t own either Kiba or Naruto >.< But I do own Umeko.
Umeko Suzuki and Kiba Inuzuka have been the closest of friends ever since they were 8 years old. It all began when both of their fathers were brutally killed on the same mission, and as both clans came together to try to come to terms of their tragic loss.
Umeko was at a loss, her father, her idol was never coming back home – never, he even refused to leave the house. Distressed with her Umeko’s current condition, Yukiko sought help from the Inuzuka clan.
“Tsume, please you have help me! My daughter Umeko, isn’t taking the loss of his father every well; he has gone all depressed and has even locked himself in his room.” pleaded Yukiko.
“Oh dear, Yukiko, this is not good… what do you think we shall do?” Comforted Tsume,” I know, how about we introduce the two children to each other? Then that way they could in their own way help each other.”
“That’s a good idea, how about you come over tonight for dinner?”
“That would be wonderful.”
Later on that night, Kiba and Umeko met each other for the very first time. After introductions, Tsume and Yukiko left the two by themselves so they would get to know each other. They sat there in the lounge in silence up to 30 minutes, until…
“So…your dad was on the same mission as my dad, right?” asked Kiba. The only answer he got was a small nod.
“Oh, I guess he died too, didn’t he?” and once again a small and tearful nod was his only answer, then all of a sudden Umeko just started crying.
“Hey, don’t cry, you’re not alone here, I lost my dad too – if that helps” consoled Kiba, with this he sat next to Umeko and hugged her trying to stop her from crying, “oh jeez, please stop crying, we have to be strong and make our father’s proud, right?”
With that Umeko tempted to stop crying and smiled at Kiba, “You’re right, Kiba. We have to be strong.”
Author Note: Yep that’s my fist chapter! The next chapter is currently in progress. Plz review!
