Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or the song that I have quoted here (It's called “Bad Habit” by Joss Stone).
Author's Note:
Also, I'd like to thank those who have reviewed! I honestly didn't think anyone would. xD But that's because I struggle to believe I can write these kinds of things (especially lemons!)
I would also like to apologize for this chapter being so long. I didn't plan on it being this long, but I didn't like breaking it up (even though there are a few places I could have done that at). And also for the fact that there's no lemon in this chapter either.
I planned on there being one, but I wanted to show a more adorable, romantic side to the couple, and the lemon just didn't happen. Heh, gomen.
But after the club scene chapter, there's going to be a chapter that's just a lemon, I swear! xD (That's me trying to make it up to you guys…is it working? Haha)
And, I'd like to apologize for grammar errors and such. If you find any, please tell me so I can fix it! I reread my stories, but I don't always catch them.
Anyways, on with the story. Enjoy!

“You're my bad habit
I'm trying not to love you like I do
(but it's no use you know there's no use you know there's no use)
you're my bad habit... no somehow I don't wanna be rid of you
(but it's no use you know there's no use)

Sakura sighed as she flipped through the medic files Tsunade had left for her.
`Kami, I hope she didn't hear any noises coming from my office when she came by.'
Kakashi had only left 10 minutes ago, but she couldn't help it as her thoughts strayed to him.
Kakashi fixed himself to be presentable for his stroll back to his apartment, and watched appreciatively as Sakura pulled on her panties and her medic skirt with shaky hands. She looked up to see his unmasked face, watching with a rogue looking smile adorning his handsomely masculine face.
He reached out removing a few roseate strands of hair that were sticking to the sheen of sweat on her face, tucking them behind her ear. His eyes softened at the sight of her, emotion showing in his eyes, as he continued to run his hand through her hair.
“I must go and turn in my mission report.”
“Mmm.” She replied. All Sakura wanted to do was close her eyes and enjoy the bliss of his touch. He chuckled at her as he removed his hand from her tresses. She opened her eyes and sighed at the loss of his touch.
“Sakura, you're still coming over tonight for dinner, ne?”
“Hai, Kakashi.”
He smiled at her. A genuine eye crinkling smile, that she had come to adore even more when uncovered; his dimples giving him an air of boyish charm.
“Six thirty, Sakura-chan. Wear something beautiful, and don't be late.”
She rolled her eyes at the mention of being on time. Instead of chuckling, he leaned in and kissed her on the crown of her forehead. He leaned back and smiled at her once again.
“Mata ne, hana.”
And then he disappeared in a puff of smoke.
She smiled at the new memory. `I wonder if that's his new nickname for me.'
She sighed once again, unconsciously rubbing her shoulder, as she looked down at the medical files sitting on her desk. Four civilians and three shinobi, the only files for her afternoon case load.
`Well, I better get going. These patients can't heal themselves.'
-------------------
Kakashi walked through the market, deciding on what to do for dinner.
`Hmm. Sakura loves tempura, and of course rice and miso soup for me.'
He decided he'd cheat, and just get some take out.
`I sure hope Sakura won't mind that I didn't cook…again….'
He hurried back to his apartment, bag of take out in hand, to shower and change into his nice casual civilian clothes.
`Can't let Sakura be the only one dressed nicely tonight. She'll be angry with me otherwise.'
And Kakashi didn't feel like getting punched through his apartment wall.
------------------
Shizune knocked on Sakura's half closed office door.
“Sakura, Tsunade wants to see you in her office before you leave.”
Sakura looked up from the medical scroll she was reading.
“Alright, thanks Shizune.”
Shizune just smiled at her as she turned around to leave.
Sakura sighed as she walked to Tsunade's office. `Kakashi's not going to be happy that I've brought work with me. Oh well.' She knocked and waited for Tsunade.
“You may enter!”
Sakura pushed open the door, and immediately noticed the mirth dancing around in Tsunade's eyes.
“Ah, Sakura, I see Shizune caught you.”
“Hai, I was just about to leave, when she came in, actually….”
Well, that wasn't completely true. She was going to finish that scroll and then leave. But Tsunade didn't have to know that.
“Well, I don't really have anything of extreme importance to talk to you about. However, I do have a question for you.”
Sakura nodded her head and went into medic mode.
`She obviously thinks it's going to be something about the hospital or some research project. This is going to make it that much more fun to tease her about.' Tsunade couldn't help the smirk that came across her features. However, nothing could have prepared Sakura for the question Tsunade asked next.
“So, have fun with your mystery man during your floors lunch break, Sakura?”
Sakura's paled as Tsunade began grinning like a mad woman.
“Shishou, I don't know wha-“
“Oh don't even try. I came by your office earlier.”
Sakura's eyes went wide. `Oh shit. How much did she hear?'
Sakura unconsciously rubbed her shoulder once again. “Shishou I'm sorry, it wasn't my idea to do that in my office! I-“
“Oh calm down. I'm not going to reprimand you. Besides, I'm quite sure the location only heightened your experience.” Tsunade laughed at Sakura's brightly red face.
“However, Sakura, I must ask you something.” Her expression turned solemn.
“Ask me what, shishou?” Sakura rubbed her shoulder once again. Tsunade noticed it.
“That.”
“What?”
“Why do you keep rubbing your right shoulder?”
Sakura blushed again, unable to look her in the eye.
“Uhm, well, you see, I, uh-“
Tsunade started laughing at her embarrassment.
“Got a little too rough, eh? So I guess the rumors are true then, ne?”
“Tsunade, what rumors are you talking about?”
“That the copy nin is damn good in bed.”
The blush that had previously been on her face drained and her eyes went wide.
“Tsunade-sama, please let me explain, I-“
She raised her hand. “Sakura, honestly, I don't care who you're screwing as long as you're happy about it.” Tsunade winked at her.”Besides you're an adult now; been one for a couple of years. That means you get to make your own decisions, you know. Just know that I want you to be happy, and if that infuriatingly late ninja is what makes you happy, I'm fine with it.”
Sakura smiled at her, relief and appreciation etched across her features.
“However, that doesn't mean I won't worry about it. I don't want to see you get hurt, and it's not going to be easy if your relationship- especially a certain physical aspect of your relationship- gets out to the village first.”
Sakura's smile faltered.
Tsunade quickly tried to amend her previous statement. “I'm not telling you this to upset you. I just want you to be on your toes. Not all of the villagers are liberals. Many will frown upon it and rumors will get out. I'd like to think, however, that your relationship is strong enough to handle that- even if that relationship is just `fuck buddies'.” Sakura's eyes found the floor to be an interesting focal point. “But don't think it can't work, Sakura. Since both of you are such prominent people in the village, the gossip shouldn't be too rough. Plus, you've got such amazing friends who would support you two, if they knew.”
“Hai, it's just…Well, it's…complicated.”
Tsunade snorted. “Of course it is. It's Kakashi we're talking about here. He seems simple, but when it comes to relationships and emotions he's fueled by guilt and fear. You're the first person in a long time to get past that armor of his. It scares him I'm sure, but it's something the two of you should talk about.”
Sakura shook her head. “Hai, Tsunade-sama, you're right.” She looked out the office window at the villagers scurrying about.
“So…do you have plans for tonight?” Tsunade smirked.
“Oh!” Sakura glanced at the clock in Tsunade's office. “Oh no! I have to rush home!” She hurried to the door.
“See you tomorrow, Sakura. And don't be late to work! I don't want his bad habit rubbing off on you!”
Sakura blushed as she hurried out the door; Tsunade just laughed and laughed.
--------------------------------------------
Sakura came out of the bathroom wrapped up in a towel. She threw open her closet door and began pulling out clothes as she rooted around in the back half of it.
`What to wear, what to wear?' She thought absent mindedly.
`Hmm, I could wear a dress.' She dug out the few from the back of her closet. Her eyes immediately picked out the black and white party dress. She vaguely remembered buying this on an outing with Ino.
“Every girl should have a party dress like this!” Ino had exclaimed.
Looking at the dress now, however, she couldn't agree more with her blond friend. She quickly picked out a lacy pair of cream colored panties and pulled on her dress. She couldn't help but gaze at her reflection in the mirror. The halter top dress mad her arms and chest look quite womanly, and the fact that the halter was a deep v-neck made it seem like she has enough cleavage to rival Ino's full bosom. The empire waist and full skirt definitely helped to define her femininity, and the embroidery on the bottom of the skirt and on the bodice helped point out her curves even more.
`Oh wow, Kakashi is definitely going to like this.' She mused. She quickly brushed out her shoulder length hair and fluffed it out a bit. She had always been much more of a plain Jane, so to speak, since she began training to be ninja, but she couldn't keep her eyes from wandering back to her floor length mirror. Her roseate hair and beryl eyes were a beautiful contrast against the black and white of her dress, and her lightly tanned skin was also a nice contrast to the white. She grabbed her black cashmere sweater, her bag, and slipped on her black mules as she headed out the door.
----------------------------
Kakashi looked at the clock on his stove once more.
`She's late.' He chuckled. Dinner was already ready on the table, and the copy nin sat on his couch, thumbing through the pages of the latest copy of Icha, Icha. He was starting to get to the good part when he heard a knock at his door. He raised his eye brow, but got up to answer the door anyways.
However, he wasn't expecting to see Sakura looking like such an exotic beauty of sorts at his door step. He felt as if he was dressed much too plainly in his tight black dress pants and smooth white dress shirt. He couldn't help the fact that his eye wandered laboriously slow down her gorgeous body, taking in every inch of her womanly curves.
`And she thinks she doesn't have any.' He mentally snorted to himself `She would be deadly to any male that may come across her.'
When he finally looked back up at her face he could see the light blush painting her cheeks as she looked away, making her even more adorable in his eyes.
“Sorry, I forgot to bring the key you gave me.” There was a pause of silence between both parties.
“May I come in?” She unconsciously tugged on her sweater, and bit her lip in her nervousness.
He simply smiled at her, unknowingly turning her insides to mush with the site of his uncovered face, not to mention the slight peek of his well toned and creamy chest he was giving her with the first three buttons of his shirt undone. He opened the door wider to allow her to pass by, unknowingly she gave Kakashi a lovely view of her curves from behind.
“You look absolutely gorgeous, Sakura. I feel much too plain standing next to you.”
She blushed at his compliment and went in his living room to drop off her bag. “Oh no Kakashi, I don't do this dress justice.”
He followed her in there, shaking his head in disbelief at her rebuttal. When she bent down to gently place her slightly heavy bag next to the couch he couldn't help but silently move behind her. She gasped as his arms went around her waist, pulling her against him. She could feel his breath against her ear.
“You don't know how wrong you are, hana. The dress doesn't make the woman; the woman makes the dress.”
She opened her mouth to contradict him, but the only thing that came out was a moan as he sucked on the tender flesh of her neck, before pulling away. Even though she looked amazing in that dress, he did promise her dinner. That, and she didn't really get to eat lunch that afternoon. He was sure she was starving by now. As if on cue, her stomach gave a light growl.
He chuckled at her “Dinner?”
She couldn't help but blush “Yes, please.”
-----------------------------------
He told her he would clean up from dinner. He told her to go relax in the living room. She told him she had some medical scrolls she needed to catch up on, and that she'd read them while waiting for him to finish the dishes.
Now he leaned in the door way, watching as her chest lightly rose and fell to every breath she took. He shook his head. `She works herself way too hard sometimes.' He watched her for a little while, basking in her beauty. Her legs were pulled up on the seat next to her, and her head was leaning on the arm rest; one arm tucked underneath herself with the other hanging loosely towards the ground. The medical scroll she had been reading sprawled out only a few inches away from her finger tips. He chuckled at the fact that she hadn't even taken off her shoes. Not that he minded though. A pair of sexy heels trekking around his apartment and being on his furniture is much different than a pair of standard shinobi sandals completely covered in mud.
`I could get used to this.' He mused as he silently moved towards her sleeping form. `I must have really worn her out today.' He inwardly chuckled at the thought. He slipped one arm under her legs, and the other gently under her shoulders. She murmured something incomprehensible and then nuzzled her face into his chest, sighing heavily. He couldn't suppress the chuckle that passed his lips at that.
He carried her to his bedroom and gently laid her down on his bed. He slipped off her shoes and left them sitting at the foot of it, as he lifted the covers up over her sleeping form. He then slipped out of his own shirt, and changed out of his pants into his favorite pair of comfy sweats, and climbed in next to the beautiful sleeping kunoichi- his beautiful sleeping kunoichi- and pulled her towards him.
-------------------
She awoke to a half naked Kakashi pressed lovingly against her back; one arm resting on her hip. She smiled and tried to snuggle further into the blankets, toward his warmth. She felt more than heard his soft laugh at her actions. She groggily rolled over to plant her face against his neck.
“Sakura-chan, you need to get up.”
She grumbled something incoherent again, trying to bury her face further into the nape of his neck. “I don't want to get up today.”
“But Sakura, you have to go to work.”
She sighed “What time is it?”
“It's eight thirty.”
She immediately sat up. “It's WHAT?! OH GOD, I'm already an hour late! I'm going to be even later by the time I get there!” She immediately flew out of bed and cursed her lack of clothes to change into.
“Oh great, you'd think after coming over here for almost a month that I'd have left clothes here by now!”
Kakashi just sat up and yawned, eyeing her sleep mussed hair and lightly crumpled dress in an appreciative manner.
“Just go to work in what you have on.”
“What?!”
He shrugged. “You won't have to worry about rushing home to change, all your male patients and male coworkers will be appreciative” he couldn't help the frown that brought to his face “and you won't be any later than you already are. Granted, you'll go to work smelling like a man's deodorant and cologne, since I don't have any female deodorant or perfume, but that should help keep wandering hands away… unless they're Shiranui Genma's.”
She blinked at him at first, and then she just laughed. He grinned at her, giving his smile a boyish quality to it. Sakura began to mumble a bit as she headed towards his bathroom. He followed her to watch her tidy herself up.
“Tsunade is still going to kill me though. She told me not to take on your bad habit!”
She froze, realizing what that sentence revealed. Her heat immediately plummeted to the floor, as she watched the normally stoic copy nin visably tense, though his face gave away nothing.
“You… told Tsunade?”
“Actually, she came by around lunch time yesterday, and heard us.” She eyed him in the mirror, unsure of how he truly felt about the revelation. Other than the new found tenseness in his shoulders, his eyes gave nothing away. “She didn't seem mad or anything. On the contrary, she seemed quite happy that I had found someone. She did warn me though; about how bad it would look if the…uh…physical aspect of our relationship got out before anything else, and before our friends knew.” She shrugged her shoulders and watched him carefully as she said her next sentence “I'm not planning on telling anyone anything yet.”
She watched as his body relaxed a bit “Although, I'm pretty sure Ino would love to know that the rumors about you and that tongue of yours are true. Among many other rumors…” She made eye contact with him in the mirror and smirked at him. He relaxed completely, and gave her a roguish smile as he began advancing towards her. Her breath caught in her throat as he wrapped an arm around her waist, and continued reaching with his other arm for the bottle of cologne on his counter top. He popped the top off, and began to spray some on her clothes, and then her neck. His breath grazed the spot where his cologne had been sprayed and she shivered at the cool tingling sensation it gave her.
“I thought I would also let you know, that Ino is- like usual- dragging me out tonight.” He placed the bottle of cologne on the counter top, and reluctantly removed himself from her space.
“Maybe I'll see you at the club tonight?”
“Hn” was all he responded as he reached out for a towel to place on the rack.
“Okay, well, I'm going off to work now, so I'll see you at lunch time?” The sound of hopefulness in her voice was not missed by either party.
“Maaaybe.” He said with a smirk, as he bent down to turn on the shower. She smacked his ass and giggled as he jumped slightly, giving her an incredulous look over his shoulder. She laughed out loud at the look on his face “Sorry” she giggled “couldn't resist, too perfect of an opportunity to miss out on!” She laughed out loud again.
He growled “I'll show you a perfect opportunity…” as he turned on her, an animalistic glint in his eye.
Sakura squeaked “Sorry Ka-chan, but you'll have to show me later. I'm off to work!” And with that she took off out the bathroom, only stopping twice; once to slip on her heels, and then to grab her bag before hurrying out the door.
Kakashi just shook his head.
`Of course I'll be at the club tonight.' He sighed as he let his sweats drop to the floor so he could step into the steamy shower.
A smirk came across his lips `And I am most definitely visiting her for lunch.'
