Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Kakashi whipped ❯ third comes love ( Chapter 3 )
[ A - All Readers ]
The next day team 7 found Kakashi was actually on time, err….for once. Naruto kept his promise to play nice and Sasuke (who didn't seemed to of been talked to by Sakura) normally was quiet and resigned. `Morning sensei^^,” Naruto said, Kakashi I looked at him and said nothing in reply. With his hands in his pockets he just walked over to a humongous oak tree. “You guys remember how to use your chakra to walk upside down on a branch right?” he asked, a hint of annoyance and sadness came to the surface of his voice. Naruto widened his eyes, Sakura was right. Something was wrong with him. “Yeah.” “Well, you'll be combining what you learned yesterday with that technique.”
Naruto was about to scream “WHAT??!!!” But was stopped as Sakura nudged him.
“Err…fine,” he said and picked up his stick. He glanced over to Kakashi who seemed lost in thought again.
“Sensei?”
“……..”
“Uhh…..Sensei??”
“Huh? Oh…sorry”
“Sensei are you feeling okay?”
“Oh…uhh…yeah I'm fine^^”
Naruto rolled his eyes, `no your not,' he thought to himself and tried to focus his chakra to the soles of his feet. A doppelganger appeared on the oak tree and the team lunged, running onto the tree. Naruto was the first one to reach to doppelganger and as the copy of Kakashi went to hit him, Naruto ducked under the punch and hit him on the cheek rather hard, “Whoo! One point for me!” he yelled victoriously. Kakashi rarely even looked in their direction; he was too lost in his own thoughts.
As evening rolled around and training was dismissed for the day, Kakashi walked home slower, was there a need to go home? No, not really, he would take his time for once but as he made out the figure of a letter sitting against the door he ran up to it and hastingly opened it. A black ribbon was tied through the punch holes to make a bow in the middle. He looked to the letter that was neatly written in cursive.
Dear Hatake, I'm fine, please come to me. I'm lonely, I need you. I really do…. Please don't leave me. XOXOXOXO Love~Kie
Kakashi read the letter over again, debating for a second and coming up with a solution, “well……it was sort of like a distress call” he said to assure himself and looked to the back of the letter. It had her address on it. He copied it down and forgetting about his job and everything else, packed up his make out paradise volumes and looked at Kohona for the last time (from a traveling distance) and left. He would miss Kohona, truly but love came before anything else.
[The next day]
Team #7 waited for Kakashi to come, but he never showed up, and as hours passed by Sasuke was the first (surprisingly) to get impatient. “Where is he??!! Saving some old lady??!! Rescuing some schoolchildren from a burning building??!!!” he yelled. Naruto looked at the sun and fanned himself with his hand, “it is hot,” Sasuke gave a looked that said `didn't-you-hear-me??!!!' but Sakura intervened and jumped up, “Sasuke calm down!” she commanded. Sasuke shook his head in disgust and started to leave them, Naruto shot up at this. “And just where do you think your going??!!!” he exclaimed. Sasuke shot a glare at him, `I'm not gonna sit here until the sun sets! I'm leaving!” He said coldly. Sakura ran after him a little bit and stopped as he kept on walking, “Sasuke! Come back! He'll come!” she yelled after him. It was too late, he was already gone.
Naruto had to admit, Kakashi was real late, “yeah, I think I'll leave too…” Sakura grabbed his jacket. “But….” Naruto shrugged her off and started walking home too. Sakura stopped, and instead of giving up and going home, marched over to Kakashi's house. She knocked on the door angrily, “sensei! Are you home?”….no answer. “We need to talk!” ….silence. She put her hand on the door knob to find that it was unlocked and after calling with no reply a couple of times, went in. there was no one in the living room, she searched the bedroom….no one there as well. But then in the kitchen she could feel that something was wrong….on the kitchen table she found a notebook and a letter set on top of it. She read the contents quickly and then had to reread it over in surprise, “oh my gawd!” she said to herself and after noticing the letter, pocketed it. She then advanced onto the notebook and leafed through the pages. Most of the pages had corny words like “my love flows deep for you,” and words like “heart, lover, rejoice, Kie, and Mrs. Kakashi.” It was a basically a notebook full of words an obsessed person would use. She dropped the notebook and raced through the bedroom and scrambled up onto the bed for one piece of evidence that would tell her if she was right. There were no make-out paradise volumes onto the shelf and she sat back in shock. Was that why he was depressed? What should she do? A thought raced through her mind and she paused, `go after him' her conscience told her, she shook he head. “N, no…he could be happy,”
“He could lose his job,” the inner Sakura told her.
“B…but his happiness….”
“But you!!! You could lose everything too! Who knows! You might have to be moved to a new cell and probably one with Rock Lee!!!!” the image rang in her head, she would be training and he would forever be vowing his eternal love for her…forever.
“No!” she yelled, standing up and jumped off the bed. She marched out the door and shuddered thinking about the image of her and Rock Lee; she had to go after him…for the sake of Kakashi's job…and for her freedom. But she wouldn't be going alone.
