            "I don't believe in destiny." He said decisively as he stared at the ramen bowl before him. His companion stared at him, confused.

            "I thought you believed in that crap?" His friend asked, blue eyes watching him curiously.

            "I don't. Not anymore."

            "Why the change?"

            "It's your fault, not mine."

After saying this, his companion choked before gasping. "My fault?"

"Yes. You changed me."

"Oh?"

"In our fight, you told me how crappy and stupid I was for believing in that crap and how stupid I was not to fight you like I should."

"Really? You actually listened?" His blue-eyed friend whispered as he stared at him inquisitively.

"Yes."

Satisfied with his answer, the blue-eyed boy stared at the blank wall before asking. "How's Hinata?"

"…"

"Is there a problem?"

"Why are you asking me?"

"Well, for one: she lives with you. And another, she's your cousin."

"Ask her yourself."

"Why? Jealous?"

"No."

"Neji?"

"…"

"Neji? Do you know why I asked you to accompany me today?"

"No missions?"

"No." He laughed before continuing. "Don't tell me that you became stupid…"

"What?"

"Hinata told me."

"Told you what?"

He smirked before replying. "Happy birthday, Neji."

"…" Neji's pearl-white eyes widened in surprise before he laughed.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing. I just thought…. Destiny must have wanted you to be the first to greet me."

"No. I told them not to greet you before me."

"Why?"

"Isn't it obvious?"

"…"

"Aishiteru, Neji."

Neji blinked, this was a dream… it couldn't be real… right? "…"

"Neji?"

Pinching himself, he was surprised to find himself still there in the ramen house that Naruto frequented. "…"

"Neji? Are you alright?"

"I love you too, Naruto." And to the great surprise of many, he smiled.
