Two years. Two years since Sasuke’s disappearance, two years since Naruto left with Jiraya-sama. Two years since her apprenticeship with the Fifth. Two years, the beginning and the end of her life.
Her latest mission, a retrieval mission. All she had to do was safely returned a young woman from a small village in the Land of Fire. Nothing to serious. She had run away when her parents arranged a marriage for her. Upon her returned, Haruno Sakura was heading back home. Back to Konoha… She would never make it.
The ambush left her broken, raped, and in a bloody state of mind. Her eyes saw through the canopy of blurred green leaves to see the glittering stars above. Her finger twitched. Her heart pumped.
Her eye-lids grew heavy, the pain only a echoing phantom touch. It rolled continuously down her spine, pooling in her limbs and fingertips.
She blinked once, upon opening them, the light began to fade. The bright green darkened to a murky emerald.
N-Naruto… S-Sasuke-kun… Tsunade-s-sama…Kakashi-sensei… I-Ino-pig…
Movement brought the spark back in her eyes, just enough for her to turn her head to the side. The pain rippled, but didn’t intensify. She stared dully at the creatures approach. A light mist pooled around massive, padded paws. It swirled up corded legs, the meat rippling under velvet. In the mass of unnatural darkness, were glowing eyes. As lime green as toxic waste, glowing eerily in the dense darkness its bulk created.
It stopped inches from her, and all she could focus on were the powerful legs, the width of her neck, as slender as her own arms.
Rolling her head slightly upward, she saw the creature lower its head. Round, furry ears snapped back in aggression, its forehead wrinkling as its lips pulled back to reveal thick fangs, long and large enough to pierce the bone and flesh of her arm.
“Haruno Sakura…Do you know why I am here?”
Strangely enough she did.
“You are the messenger of death.”
The beast roared, a soft roar, not loud enough to be deafening, but enough to show its dislike of her ignorance.
“I am not of your world. I possess a name and title your feeble human mind could not understand. Merely uttering my name in this plane of existence would cause your mind to implode with its gravity.”
Its brow relaxed and its fangs once again covered by powerful lips.
“Who…. Are you then? Why are you here?”
“Your family holds no bloodline-limit. You will be the first.”
Her eyelids fluttered, the light dying quickly. The enormous panther lowered its muzzle to Sakura’s own human lips. Using pressure the feline opened Sakura’s mouth with its own.
The light in the kunoichi’s had died. The cats eyes flashed iridescent green, the light mist that curled at the beasts feet curled up its corded legs, swirling across a rippling chest and along the muscular throat. Curling around its muzzle and Sakura’s face, it was suddenly sucked into Sakura’s mouth. Her back arched as her lungs pulled in the mist.
“Uhhhh!”
The girl’s lifeless body inhaled so deeply the sound cut through the silence of the night. The beast’s chest expanded as it drew the mist back out of Sakura’s lungs, the mist on the ground swirling with violent movements, flowed into the cats nostrils and maw.
Exhaling, the Konoha kunoichi’s body arched painfully, almost to its breaking point, her eyes swinging open violently. Her eyes turned a lucid, toxic green, glowing like beacons of light.
Her body slumped back to earth and the panther followed her, laying atop her, aligning its body to hers. His hind legs straddling her hips, his massive paws on either side of her head.
“Haruno Sakura. You possess the bloodline-limit of the Feline. You were chosen by my God, you possess the grace and power of the feline. You now possess the spirit of my Gods Right Hand. Live. Make an example to those around you. You will not fail…”
The panther began to purr as Sakura’s chest rose sharply under him. His muscles bunched as he rose only enough to allow her body to intake air. Tal flicking side to side at the tip, the giant cat kept silent vigil over the precious girl whom he took death and gave life.

Chapter One: Rise of the Beast
~~
“You were successful, then?”
“Hai, Hokage-sensei.”
Tsunade nodded, her fingers curling sensually around the neck of her sake bottle.
“Excellent. I trust you had no unnecessary encounters?”
“Lie, Hokage-sensei.”
“I see. Leave your report, you are dismissed.”
“Hai, Hokage-sensei.”
Sakura bowed and placed a tiny scroll onto the Fifth’s desk, then back up three steps before straightening and spinning around. Tsunade lifted an eyebrow at Sakura’s unusual grace, but dismissed it as the pink haired kunoichi closed the door behind her.
Sakura leaned back against the door and touched her throat, where a thin scar was. She didn’t remember getting thee scars that littered her body, but daily they began to fade. She remembered waking up, only four miles from the Gates of Konoha, wounds covering her body and dried blood caked on her clothes. She didn’t hurt, though, and as she stared at the wounds, they began to close.
When she arrived at the Gates, the wounds had already turned into scars…
Her hand moved up to her forehead. Her senses had been running wild. Things would suddenly be thrown into sharp focus for no reason, and then become normal again. Her hearing would spike so intensely sometimes, her ears felt like they’d explode. Her sense of smell and taste were insane and rose sharply with each new taste and scent, never decreasing as the others seemed to be doing.
Maybe I should talk to Tsunade-sensei about it…
But when she seriously thought of doing it, a sense of sever outrage would take hold of her.
Its mine!
She shook her head and pushed herself off the door, walking through the halls of the Hokage Tower. She distantly registered the sound of two sets of feet as she walked. Her ears burned and twitched, as if something was wedged into them, making everything muffled but sharply intense.
She shook her head again and pressed hard on the flesh behind them, massaging heavily.
“Oro-! S-Sakura-chan!?”
Her foot rose and paused. Looking to her left she saw blue eyes and blonde hair. Her eyes widened and a shiver rolled down her sine.
Kistune…
Her instincts flared suddenly and she felt the fine hair on the back of her neck freeze.
“N-Naruto-kun!?”
She squealed, launching herself at him, despite the flips her stomach was doing. Naruto laughed and hugged her back. Jiraya snickered and crossed his arms as his student twirled his old teammate, before setting her back down.
“Gods, I’ve missed you Sakura-chan! How’ve you been?!”
“Good! Really good! I’ve been training with Tsunade-sensei and I’ve become WAY stronger!”
Naruto cheesed it, placing his left hand on his hi and giving her a thumbs up.
“Great! Hey, after I’m done, we should spar! I’ve learned a few things as well!”
Sakura laughed and nodded.
“Awesome! Hey, listen though, after we’re done, how about we go to Ichiraiku’s for ramen!”
Naruto’s stomach rumbled and he mumbled incoherently for a moment, then shook himself out of it.
“Promise?”
“Promise!”
She agreed. Though she did notice, Naruto was a full foot taller than her now and grew into maturity quite well, but she couldn’t help but wonder at the fact that her sine continued to tingle and her stomach flip’s whenever she looked at him.
Strangely though, she could smell him. She groaned inwardly when her senses suddenly decided to spike again. The smell of Naruto was suddenly intoxicating, she could smell his blood pumping through his veins, almost acutely. She could smell the musky, masculine fragrance of his flesh and the dusty sweaty aroma of his hair. But most of all, she could suddenly smell the large amount of masculinity that centered at his waist.
Blushing so furiously, her nose almost bled, Sakura quickly excused herself. She rounded the corner, barely caring or noticing that she left Jiraya and Naruto in very, confused and concerned states.
She punched the wall lightly, creating a large dent and spider-web cracks in the wall.
What is going on?!
Something caught her attention. It was a noise. Her head slowly raised, her eyes starring at the opposing wall, as if seeing through them. She knew this sound… But it was too far away. So far away, that she didn’t hear it so much as felt it.
“-Haruno-san?”
She calmly looked to her right, hardly startled. Sakura tilted her head at the woman slightly, watching her lips move, but only hearing and sweet ring of her vocal cords.
Sakura’s hearing suddenly returned, but everything seemed back to normal. Shaking her head almost violently, Sakura smiled sweetly at the woman.
“I’m sorry, I’m afraid I have a lot on my mind at the moment. Hw can I help you?”
The woman turned out to be Ten-Ten, and she stared t Sakura as I she’d grown a second head. Sakura realized her mistake and slapped a hand over her lips. Ten-Ten looked amused, and crossed her arms
“Wow. You must really be out of it. Is the Hokage-sama driving you to hard?”
Sakura moved her hand up to cover her eyes.
“Gomen-nasi, Ten-Ten-chan. No, Tsunade-sensei hasn’t been training me daily like she used to, anymore. We spar on occasion now, when we both have the time. Balancing being the Hokage and being on constant mission’s.”
Ten-Ten nodded.
“Ah, I’ve heard that the Hokage-sama has been thinking of creating an ANBU Medical Squad.”
Motioning for Sakura to follow, the Weapon Specialist started back the way Sakura had come.
“Really? Well actually, now that you mention it, Tsunade-sensei has been hinting towards something like that.”
Ten-Ten winked at her with a kind smile. The only difference between this Ten-Ten and the Ten-Ten from the Chunin Exams, was that Ten-Ten now wore a Jounin vest and uniform.
“Tsunade-sama even asked me about making a certain weapon that would benefit both a Medical Nin and a regular Ninja.”
Sakura nodded and frowned.
“Wait. Where are we going?”
“Oh yeah! Tsunade-sama asked for you.”
Sakura sighed, feeling her stomach flip. Kyuubi… Kistune… Naruto…
She swallowed and nodded when they came to a stop in front of the Hokage’s door. Ten-Ten winked at the ink haired kunoichi again as she turned away. Sakura closed her eyes, focusing her wayward and chaotic senses.
This will prove it. If I’m not insane and I’m not dreaming. Let me sense the Kyuubi. Not Naruto, I want to sense the Kyuubi.
She knew that if she get freaked out, she’d just have to suffer. And suffering was something she was familiar with.
She pushed the door open just as her vision sharpened so suddenly she nearly whimpered when Naruto, only a foot away from her, seemed to jump out at her. She barely controlled the reflex, even as her spine stiffened. She blinked and the focus adjusted, instead of seeing him almost in 3D, she was able to see the finer details about him.
Her sense of smell sharpened so sharply she found herself subconsciously breaking down and memorizing each sent that filtered in through her nose. Her skin became so sensitive that every breeze, every wisp of air that passed over her flesh tingled and bought forth a secret.
When Naruto shifted, the temperature of a certain wisp of air would change, along with a ripple like effect that disturbed the other levels of wispy breezes of air that she knew she shouldn’t be feeling.
“Haruno Sakura. Are you feeling alright? I noticed just a few moment ago that you were acting strange, and Naruto informs me that you adopted quite the strange behavior pattern.”
Sakura blinked and focused on Tsunade. The old woman’s features were thrown into stark contrast, the color of her eyes distinguished into streamers of caramel. Her pupils widening and contracting like a vortex of space within the color.
The pores of her face, the tiny hairs that coated arms like fine velvet. Each strand of hair detailed and distinguished from the others as a single.
“I’m… Not sure, Tsunade-sensei. I feel fine, maybe a few… Not so normal things… But, I’m in no danger, as I’m aware of.”
Tsunade nodded and lazily intertwined her fingers under her chin.
“What kind of things.”
Sakura took a step forward, her eyes flashing towards Naruto. In a single moment, a single heart beat and intake of breath. She saw it. The beast that lay within Naruto’s soul. A phantom of a scarlet beast hovered over Naruto’s natural features. With that second-long-lasting impression, came a powerful scent. Masculine, powerful, ancient, alluring and seductive. She felt the air leave her body in a short wisp, blowing past her moist lips and cooling them.
Naruto blinked at her, unsure of what to make out of her expression and reaction to looking at him.
Jiraya and Tsunade, however, were better skilled and more perceptive and understanding than the young Kyuubi container.
Lust, desire… Envy.
