You woke up in your soft leathered bed. You looked out the window and heard someone yelling,” Get away! You can't be here!” “You can't make me,” said another boy. “Well, Ms. Kiya is not to be disturbed unless you are on the list of people she gave me,” the boy yelled holding out a piece of paper. “I have to talk to her.” said the other boy. You looked down and saw Sasuke. You thought,” Why is he here?” “Ok! Now that's enough Kyler! Let him in.” you said. “You win this time Uchiha.” mumbled Kyler. Sasuke entered through the guarded gates and past the security system where they had you put all your weapons in a safe place, but you still had your weapons with you. As you walked down the grand stairway, you saw Sasuke. “What do you want?” you asked,” It better not be about the ten thousand dollars that we owed to the restaurant yesterday for our date.” “No, of course not, even though that was an expensive place, and you ate a lot, I paid for it. I came to warn you.” He said,” Don't even say the date word. I hate it and I hate you.” “Then why are you here to warn me if you hate me?” you asked. “Well…” he said turning bright pink on the cheeks,” Well it seems I do care about you. “ “I guess it seems so.” You said awkwardly,” Tell me the warning then.” “Well, you know your little guard there is trying to kill you. Kyler Yanita. Well, your brother it seems wants to kill you because I guess you own the house and possibly because you killed his friend.” He said. “I see. Well you didn't have to warn me you Uchiha boy! I'm fine of taking care of myself! Now go!” you yelled. He left and you had this strange feeling that he was right. *What the heck am I doing? We went on a date yesterday…we said it didn't work …he comes back here to warn me…and yet he still cares about me…It all doesn't make sense…I seem to care about him too…ohh!!! Snap out of it! Snap out of it!!* you thought. You sat up abruptly and saw that your breakfast was ready on the table with the cook standing next to it. You walked to the table and sat down. “Thanks Mui. I appreciate it.” You said. “Well I appreciate the cash.” said Mui. You ate breakfast slowly thinking about where to go to. *Should I hang out with Shikamaru? No. Naruto? No. Sakura? No. Sasuke? Hell no! Kyler? Never! Kiba? No. Hinata? No. Neji? No…who should I hang out with? Myself I guess, till I could make up my mind.* you thought. You finished your breakfast and walked outside. *What a lovely day to kill someone..*you thought,*Hmm…who shall it be? My brother? Fine. I will.* You walked up to him and said, “Dear brother, I want to fight you till death. I know you want to kill me.” “Yeah. So bring it on.” He said. “How pathetic! You want to fight me right here and right now? We will fight in the forest after noon. Got it?” you said. “Fine.” He said grumpily. You walked on and on walking wherever you feet desired. You were a loner who lived in a big mansion and was rich. After your parents died in an accident, you got all the fortune's of your parents and you spent it the way you wanted it. You kicked your own brother out of the household and killed his best friend because you were sick of the guy. You had no desire to care about your family since they didn't care about you. You kill for no reason sometimes, but you long to love someone. That is why you go on dates with boys a lot. You are very desperate to find someone to depend on forever, but things haven't been working out so well lately. Boys are only dating you because you either make them or they just want your money. But you really think the Uchiha guy can be the right person. Suddenly you wondered why you were running. You were looking at the view of the river when you bumped in to someone. ”Get off.” You shoved at the boy. “Hey, sorry Kiya.” He said. *So troublesome*he thought. `'Oh, sorry about that Shikamaru! I wasn't paying attention at all. I was looking at the…the view of the river.” You said blushing. You liked Shikamaru and you were glad that when you dated him, he didn't want it for the money, he wanted it for you, but you guys never kissed before. “Oh, sorry. So, how is everything? Is it troublesome?” he asked. “You are so funny when you say the word troublesome! I love it when you say it! Everything is going great and guess what? I'm now dating Sasuke Uchiha.” You said. “Great! Did you force him to?” he asked. “Of course, my troublesome boy, but I don't think it will work out. I'd like to be with you again. “ you said. “You do?” he asked blushing. “Of course my Shika.” You replied,” He isn't even my boyfriend at all.” “You actually mean it? This time your not going to dump me again, are you?” he asked as you nodded your head. He started to blush,” Well, I know this is going to be a troublesome life.” You started to laugh. You just loved his sense of humor. You put your arm around him and walked. When you got to his house, the first thing you saw was Ino at the doorway. “Ino!!!” you yelled. “Oh! Hi Kiya!!!” she replied. *Great* thought Shikamaru,* Miss Troublesome girl of the week.* “Shikamaru!” you called. “Yes?” he asked. “Is it ok if I go to the park with Ino?” you asked. “Sure.” Said Shikamara calmly. You walked with Ino quietly to the park. Once you were there you both sat on a bench. “So how are things?” you asked. “Great!” said Ino,” Except about the Sasuke thing.'' “I can help you with that.” You said. “You can?!! That'll be great! Tell me!” she asked. “Well, I learned a few things that you didn't know..” you said…

 

-An hour later-

 

“Well, thanks for the news, Kiya!” yelled Ino. “Sure, no problem!” you said. You smiled happily and walked down the path. At least you had a good side with you. You totally forgot about Shikamaru and went to go get some lunch.

 

-Where Shikamaru is-

 

Ino comes back to Shikamaru's house and he asks,” Where is Kiya?” “Ohh..why didn't you say so? She went to get lunch and I guess she forgot about you.” Said Ino. “What!!” asked Shikamaru. *This is super troublesome* and then he ran off to find you.

 

-Where you are-

 

You went to a café and sat yourself down on the chair. A few minutes later a waiter comes and takes your order. You order,” I like a double-cheeseburger with a kiwi-smoothie, and the salad plate with no ranch please.” “Sure.” Said the waiter and he left. You put your face in your arms to tired to think. In a few hours you had to fight Kyler after finding out that he wanted to kill you. You also had to see…SHIKAMARU!! *Oh god! Shikamaru! I totally forgot!* you thought. You went up to the waiter and told him that you wouldn't be back for awhile and left running. You ran and ran until you bumped in to Shikamaru. “Shikamaru!” you said hugging him,” I'm sorry I forgot about you! Come!” You nearly dragged him to the café you were at. “Excuse me.” You waved your hand to the waiter. The waiter came and you said,” This guy would like a menu.” After Shikamaru got settled and ordered he asked,” It's ok. What are you doing after lunch?” “I'm going to kill my brother afternoon. I found out that he wanted to kill me after he found out that I had killed his best friend. Uchiha boy told me.” You said drinking out of your smoothie. “How can you survive in this life of yours?” asked Shikamaru. “Uhh..easily, but hard I shall say. But you make my life even easier.” You said honestly while blushing. “I see” he said as the orders came. You ate your lunch slowly and enjoyed it a lot. “Well, Shika” you said after you finished your lunch,” I have to go.” “Good luck. I know you can do it Kiya.” He said. “Thanks.” You replied as you walked out. You made it to the forest and waited for Kyler. * This is the time when you are going to die Kyler. I still love you as a brother but you have to die.* you thought. You just sat there waiting for him. *He's already 26 minutes late!! Maybe he's too chicken!* you thought. Then later Kyler came. “Took you long enough!” you said to him. “Well bring it stuck up!” yelled Kyler. “If you wish!” you yelled. In like a few minutes Kyler was dead and was all bloody. “That serves you right.” You said. You walked home and told your butler to hire a new guard. In a few minutes the new guard was here. You looked down the window and saw…SHIKAMARU!! *Why?* you thought, *Why did he have to be my guard? He's my…b--.b-….boyfriend and he is protecting me by being my guard?* “Hey! Shikamaru!” you yelled. He looked up at you. “What Kiya?” asked Shikamaru. “Why…Why are you my new guard?” you asked. “Cause' I love you Kiya and I want to protect my troublesome woman.” He replied. “Oh, Shika!! Don't say that out loud.” You said,” Wait! I'm coming down!”

 

You ran down the stairs and outside the door to Shikamaru. “Shikamaru! Why you?” you asked. “I told you already. I want to because I l-“he said getting cut off. “Don't repeat it again!” you said,” Oh here is a list of the people that can come here.” You handed the list to Shikamaru and it read:

“Ok…” said Shikamaru. “Ok.” You said as you hugged him. He blushed. “What's the matter Shika? Too troublesome?” you asked. “Uhh..” he said, “Yes, I guess.”

 

-The Next Morning-

 

You woke up in bed and heard someone whispering outside the door. You could hear them well enough though. “Did you here, Mia? There was a fire near the shops. A big house like place burned down!” said one of the maids. “It did! Oh my god! Isn't that the place where Kiya's aunt lives?” asked Mia. “Yeah, I think so. But we have to keep it a secret! Kiya would be devasted to hear that another part if her family is dead. It's like as if some one is doing it on purpose for some reason to Kiya.” Said the maid. “I know. Maybe there is someone tailing her or something. Or she met the person already and doesn't talk about it.” Said Mia. *Oh my! I'm so mad at you Danouchi! Stop it! They are right..someone is doing this on purpose and I don't even talk about it, not even to Shikamaru.* you thought. You got dressed and left You ran outside all the way to the forest, past the waterfall, under a bridge, through the mountains, into a cave, and in to a door. You knocked on the door really loudly and yelled,” OPEN UP DANOUCHI!!!! OPEN IT UP RIGHT NOW OR ELSE I”LL KILL THE F*** OUT OF YOU!!!” you stormed. “Fine, my sweet Kiya.” Said a boy who opened a door. He wore blue shorts that were knee length and wore a black short sleeve shirts. He had sandy blonde hair that went over his face and down to his neck. He of course had a crush on you. “Now you kill my aunt's family!!” you yelled. “Yeah, remember. You don't love/marry me, you don't have a family.” He said. “What if I kill you!” you said instantly throwing random attacks at him. He dodged all of them and caught you on the arm. You tried to kick him, but he held it to. “Well, it still seems I'm still stronger than you.” He said. “Who are you attacking next?? I have no family left and you know it!” you said tears coming down your face. “Ah, don't cry my love. I'll get your little boyfriend Shikamaru.” He said. “You better not touch him once!” you said. “But I can and I will, unless..you love me and become my boyfriend. Or I'll have to tie you up and do something with you.” He said. “You are just one gross b**** you know?” you yelled. “Yeah, I know my darling, so what shall it be?” he asked. * Oh my god! I hate Danouchi! If I let him kill Shikamaru..No! I can't let that happen. But I don't want to date this icky guy, but it seems like I have no choice..* you thought. “Danouchi?” you asked. “What, my sweet Kiya?” he asked. “I'll..I'll..d-do i---i-it.” You said. “Oh goodie!” he said. “I know my love will not surrender! Come in! Come in!” he said pulling you in to his house. *Weirdo.* you thought. “You sat down on the couch and thought,” Oh, forgive me Shikamaru.”

 

Shikamaru was standing outside, guarding the place. He kept looking up the window to see you looking down, but never did.

You promised him…

 

-Flashback-(Last night)

 

“I'll see you tomorrow my troubled Shika. I'll see you up from the window….the window on the third floor. I'll wave down and come down, ok? I promise I will… At ten o'clock… I promise Shika.” You said,” If I don't show up…something could have happened…That's the way you'll know I'm in trouble.” “Ok.” Said Shikamaru.

 

-End Flashback-

 

“If I don't show up…something could have happened…That's the way you'll know I'm in trouble.” Those words were stuck in his mind. “Something could of happened…”. He stood there terrified that something could have happened to you. He looked at the time: 10:35. He ran in the house and ran to a maid. “Have you seen Kiya?'' asked Shikamaru. “No… I'm sorry. She left like two hours ago for some strange reason. She looked really mad though…” said the maid. “Thanks.” Said Shikamaru. “She looked really mad though…” “Is she mad at me?” he thought. He ran out the house and kept on running in to the forest. He sat on the ground and gave up after searching for you for an hour. “Where are you Kiya!!!” he yelled really loud.

 

You sat on the couch still, wondering about the promise that you made to Shikamaru. “I'm so sorry Shika. I wish I could be with you right now, but I can't…I can't for your sake. This way you'll be safe, my Shika!” you thought. “Hello, earth to Kiya!” said Danouchi. “I'm so sorry Danouchi. I was admiring your uhh…collection of paintings.” You lied. “You actually like them?” he asked. “Yes.” You lied again. They looked hideous to you. “Well thanks.” He said. “Can I go home? I haven't eaten breakfast yet.” You said. “Oh, go ahead. But don't go to Shikamaru.” He said. “Fine.” You said and you hugged him and left.

 

You ran really fast in the forest crying as you went. You then saw Shikamaru out of the corner of your eye. He saw you. “Kiya! Wait!!” he yelled. But you kept on going letting the tears fall down over your cheeks. You made it back and Shikamaru made it up to you. “Kiya….Kiya? Can we talk? Kiya…” he said. You walked right past him ignoring him, still crying. “Kiya…” he said. “ Shikamaru! Stop! It's not you!! It's me! There is this boy…he…I just can't see you anymore Shikamaru! I'm sorry!” you yelled as you ran up to your room. “Kiya!” was the last thing you heard from him. You made it to your room and locked it. You plopped on top of your bed still crying. You wouldn't be able to talk to the love of your life ever again. You wanted to kill Danouchi really badly.

 

The next thing you knew you woke up. *Did I sleep this long?* you thought. It was seven o'clock p.m. and you haven't eaten anything. You ran down stairs and told the chef to start cooking a big meal. You wanted to bring Sasuke here to talk about things. So you told your assistant to go to Sasuke's house and bring him here. In a few minutes Sasuke came. “Shikamaru is your guard? You killed him didn't you?” he asked. You stood there staring at him, saying nothing. “Something's wrong isn't it?” he asked. You nodded. “So you brought me here to tell me about it over dinner?” he asked. “No. Over brlundin.” You said. “You mean, breakfast, lunch, and dinner?” he asked. You nodded. “I wonder why you didn't eat..” he thought.
