"Sakura, I expected so much more from my student," the fifth stated firmly to the young woman in front of her.

"I know, Hokage-sama," she said quietly.

"On to business," the Hokage looked directly to the woman," Are you sure about this? If you quit now you may never return as a shinobi."

"I have reached my limit," she murmured.

"I am greatly disappionted in you. I had high expectations of you, Sakura."

"I am truly sorry," the woman commented softly.

"You forehead protector, please..." Tsunade requested without emotion, Sakura gently pulled the requested item off her head and slid it across the cluttered desk to the Hokage.
"Haruno, Sakura. You are dismissed as a kuniochi of the Leaf..." Tsunade annouced formally. Sakura began to leave, her head hanging slightly.
"Sakura," the girl stopped, "before you go. I'd like to know why. Why would you want to stop something that you have a passion for?"
"......" There was a silence, and Tsunade believed that there would be no reply.
".....I've lost so much...because of my status of kuniochi," Sakura began, her voice almost inaudible, "But I kept going. And I kept losing; my parents, my sister, and...." her voice stopped and her face contorted as though she was thinking.
"Your team..." Tsunade filled the blank for her.
"My team?" Sakura's voice was bitter, "They were never my team. I'm not even sure you could consider us a team, and if you could, I wouldn't be considered part of it. I was just the dead weight. I've realized that when I found out they were dead–"
"They have yet to be confirmed dead," Tsunade was beginning to lose her patience with her former student.
"But you know...you know that they would have come back by now," Sakura's voice broke.
"Sakura, why would you have kept on going if you knew you'd lose everything?"
"Because I that's all I have left," Sakura replied stiffly, "And now I don't even have that."
"Fine, but where do you plan to go now?"
"Where ever I'm led, I'm thinking somewhere on the coast," Sakura said with a content tone.
Tsunade sighed, Sakura left the building, walking slowly to collect her bags that she would take. She exited the familair house and turned to take one last look at her past.
'Maybe one day...' she thought to herself as she stepped off the walk-way leading to the door and onto the street. Her feet led her unconciously toward the gate of village, allowing her eyes to take in what may be her last time in Konoha. Her eyes gazed on the passing people, she swore that she saw a tall blond accompanied by seven or eight other men.
'Nauto?...' she shook the thought out of her head, and forced herself to focus on walking out of Konoha.
Only three steps from the gate she heard a loud yell coming from the direction of the Hokage's tower. It sounded almost like someone was yelling her name. She exited the gates with no hesitation and began on her own personal mission to get to the coast...
On her own.

Feh, that didn't make any sense now did it?
Oh well, review...I'm not sure but I may make this into a multiple chapter story instead of a one-shot.
