-“Oh,......my head.....” Sakura mumbled, bringing her hand up to her head. She opened her eyes and noticed that she was still in the dark ally. *What happened?...Where's the guy who saved me?* She was laying up against the wall.

 

-“Oh, you're awake.” She looked to her right and saw that the guy was sitting beside her.

 

-“Who are you?” she asked.

 

-“I'm Naruto. What's your name?”

 

-“My name's Sakura........Did you save me from those men?”

 

-“Well, I wouldn't say that.....” he said shyly. “I just made them leave you alone.”

 

-“Well, thank you.” Sakura said. She started getting up but was a little wobbly and fell back down on her butt. “Owwww......”

 

-“You bumped your head on the wall. My car's just down that way, you want me to drive you home?”

 

Sakura looked at him and thought about it.*He looks nice enough and he did save me....it's late and I don't really wanna have to walk the rest of the way home.....* “Are you sure it's no trouble for you?” she asked.

 

-“No trouble at all! Common', I insist.”

 

-“Okay, that would be great, thank you.”

 

Naruto got up and took one of her hands. Sakura blushed a little and got up. He took one of her arms and put it around his neck for more support and started slowly walking to his car.

Once there, she got in the passenger's seat and he got in the driver's side.

 

-“Which way?” he asked

 

-“Hun?”

 

-“Which way to your house?” he asked again.

 

-“Oh! That way.” Sakura replied pointing to the left.

 

-“Okay.” he started the car and drove off in that direction. “So why were you in that ally so late at night anyway?” Naruto asked, momentarily looking at her.

 

-“My roommate was going out for a coffee after we got off work and she took my car, so I had to walk.”

-“Where do you work?”

 

-“I work for Mr.Moto at the New York Times.”

 

-“Really?” Naruto asked, sounding kinda interested. “I used to work for him.”

 

-“Used to? He fired you?”

 

-“Yeah. I fell asleep on the job...”

 

-“Oh. He got pissed off at me and my roommate this morning because we were late.” They rode in silence for a couple more minutes.

 

-“Is this it?” Naruto asked pointing out the window. Sakura looked out the window and nodded.

 

-“Yup. That's the place. Thanks again, for everything.” `He's like my knight in shining armor...'

 

-“It was no problem, really!” They both got out of the car and Naruto walked Sakura to her room.

 

-“Bye!” Sakura said and started closing her door.

 

-“Wait!” Naruto put his hand between the door and the frame so it was open a crack. “Can I have your phone number?” He asked. Sakura blushed

 

-“Sure, you got a pen?”

 

-“Yeah”

 

-“Give me your hand” She wrote her phone number down on Naruto's hand and gave him back his pen.

 

-“Thanks!” he said with a smile.

 

-“My phone number's nothing compared to how much you did for me.” Naruto blushed

 

-“Bye!” Naruto said before turning to walk away.

 

-“Bye” She closed her door and leaned her forehead against it. *What a day!* She thought. She walked down the hall to her room and went to bed.
