Sakura unlocked her door, went in and turned on the T.V. On the first commercial, she went to the phone and ordered a pizza. On her way back to the couch, the doorbell rang.

*Who could that be?* She opened the door and gasped. “Naruto?!”

 

-“Hey!” he said with a smile. “Is this a bad time?”

 

-“Hun? No, no. Why are you here?” She was getting kinda nervous. This guy she hardly knew was coming to her house / complex with no previous warning.

 

-“No reason. I just wanted to see how you were doing.”

 

-“Oh, thanks. That's very kind of you.” Naruto blushed a little. “You wanna come in? I just ordered a pizza, it should be here soon.”

 

-“I wouldn't be causing any trouble for you or your roommate?”

 

-“No, it's no trouble. My roommate moved down the hall today so now I've got the whole room to myself! Common in.” she said opening the door all the way.

 

-“Okay, but just for a little while. I'm job hunting today.” he said with a smile while stepping into her apartment and taking his shoes off.

 

-“Anywhere you wanna work in particular?” Sakura asked and closed the door.

 

-“Well, I've got a list of places that need help. After that I'm just gonna look around and see if I get lucky.”

 

-“That's cool...Can I get you something to drink? The pizza should be here soon.” Sakura said, making her way to the kitchen.

 

-“Sure, you got Coke?” Naruto asked, following Sakura.

 

-“Un hun. You want one?”

 

-“Yeah, thanks.”

 

-“No problem.” DING DONG!! “Oh, pizza's here! Naruto....” Naruto looked over to where Sakura was. She was pouring Coke into one glass and carrying the other glass. Her hands were completely full. “Could you get the door?”

 

-“Hehe....yeah, sure.” Naruto said with a chuckle. He ran off to the door and got the pizza from the grumpy pizza guy, and came back to the kitchen.

 

-“Hey, Mademoisella! You uh, ordered pizza?” he said in a funny Italian voice.

 

-“Why yes I did! And I heard word that you uh, wanted a coke?” She said, mimicking his voice. They both started laughing. Naruto put the pizza box on the counter and took the coke that Sakura passed to him. “I propose a toast!” said Sakura, coke in one hand, pizza in the other.

 

-“To what?” Naruto asked while taking a piece of pizza from the box.

 

-“To a new friendship!” She said in the Italian voice.

 

-“I'll toast to that!” Naruto said with a smile. They `clanked' they're glaces and took a sip. Naruto glanced at his watch and gasped.

 

-“What is it?” Sakura asked

 

-“I got to go! I got a meeting with one of the shops who need new employees!”

 

-“Oh, alright........you wanna take a piece of pizza with you?”

 

-“Yeah, sure!” he called to her while running down the hall to get his shoes.

 

-“Thanks for coming.” Sakura said handing him a piece of pizza. “I had fun.”

 

-“You're welcome.” he said, opening her front door. She walked right up to him. “Oh, and next time I'll phone before I come.” he said with a smile.

 

-“So I'll see you later, Bye!” Sakura said.

 

-“See ya!” Naruto quickly leaned in and gave Sakura a kiss on the cheek. He was gone and the door was closed before she could react. She slowly brought her hand up to the cheek he had kissed. 8What just happened? And why do I feel so warm inside?.....* She slowly walked back to the kitchen to put the rest of the pizza in the fridge. She picked up the pizza box and saw a piece of paper under it. “Hun?” She picked up the paper and read it. It was Naruto's phone number. *He doesn't like me?.....Does he?* She went back to the living room and continued to watch T.V.
