AN: Oh, man. You guys are gonna hate me for this. Well, whether you like it or not, I thought this was funny as hell- I just could not stop laughing while I was writing it. And by no means should you think I tried on it- the writing's bad, but I know that and I've seen worse than what I did on this. You can take it seriously if you want, but I sure as heck didn't.

Itachi was on his way from work, greatly looking foreword to being home. After all, what was better than having dinner with the one you love after a hard day of slaughtering people?

He smiled, thinking of his dear little raccoon… He hadn't realized he could love someone so much.

He remembered meeting Gaara when he joined Akatsuki. Initially he hadn't liked him, as he hadkilled Kisame; but then he really couldn't blame him for that. Kisame had, after all, suggested that he should kill someone Gaara was about to fight. Show the newcomer how it was done, he said. Never was the brightest crayon in the box.

Well, no matter how it started, they were in love now, and Itachi couldn't imagine life without his aqua-eyed sweetheart.

He finally arrived at home to find Gaara in the kitchen; poking a piece of meat with a fork and wearing a curious look on his face. When he looked up and saw Itachi his face brightened briefly, before turning into an odd frown. “Uh, dinner's ready.” He said, offering the plate with the meat he had been prodding.

“Did you… Make this yourself?” Itachi questioned, staring at the plate of burnt bacon and an underdone porkchop questioningly.

“Yeah… I had a little free time.” Gaara decided he wouldn't try cooking again. “So,” he quickly changed the subject “how was your day?”

“Good. Wiped out a village. I saw this really pretty girl while I was there, so I brought you an eye.”

“Aw, that's so sweet of you!” Gaara said cheerfully, kissing his lover on his cheek.

“Well, did you do anything interesting today?” Itachi continued where he left off.

“Not really. Finally got around to cleaning the mess in the basement. He was really starting to smell. I also killed a pair of Jehovah's witnesses and another
mailman. That reminds me, you got mail from your brother.”

“From Sasuke?” Itachi looked up from his meat. “What did he have to say?”

“Not much. It was just another letter bomb.” Gaara replied, pouring himself a cup of coffee.

“Ah.” Itachi said, returning to his meat “Good to know he's thinking about me, at least. Speaking of brothers, how's yours?”

“I haven't heard from Temari since the flamingo incident; so I'm assuming she's fine, and Kankuro just got engaged.” Gaara paused, taking a sip of coffee “Actually, come to think of it, we should see Sasuke at the wedding.”

“Why would Sasuke be at Kankuro's wedding?” Itachi asked, now thoroughly confused.

Because his fiancée is an old friend of Sasuke's; Sakura.

Well, that should be interesting. Itachi said, finishing his meaty dinner. “By the way, have you heard from Naruto recently?

Gaara shook his head. “Not for a while. But come to think of it, last I did hear he was in love with your brother.

Itachi just stared. “Naruto and Sasuke? That's rather disturbing

Ha! I couldn't help myself; I just HAD to end it with Itachi calling something disturbing. Originally I had a different ending in mind, but as soon as I came up with that, I realized there was no other way I could finish this.
Oh, and Shen, I looked up tanuki- we were wrong, it means raccoon-dog. Now I just have to figure out what that is.
