Everyone watched Naruto finish his 'act'. "What's with all the smoke?" I thought as I slowly got on my knees.


"Now that I'm here, everything will be fine," Naruto said confidently. "Usually in this type of situation in the story, the main character shows up and kicks some major bad guy's ass!"


"Oh, Naruto just cussed! He's only twelve!" I thought. "My mom would surely hit my head if she heard me cuss!"


"He talks too much," I heard Sasuke grumble and I had to agree.


"Okay, here goes!" Naruto shouting preparing to use the Shadow Clone Jutsu, but before he could complete it, Zabuza threw shurikens at him.


"N-Naruto! Move it!" I yelled in my mind, but he just stayed there with a scared look on his face! Suddenly I saw needles fly toward the shurikens knocking them to the ground. "Man, if he gets killed before saving us I'll...." I trailed off.


"Hey! What idiot would use a jutsu right in front of the enemy?" Kakashi yelled to Naruto. "The true ninja art is trickery, to fool the opponent! Even for just one jutsu, you must confuse the opponent, sneaking up from behind to catch them off guard. With the way you appeared, it's like you just showed up to be a target!"


"No way! I came to save...." Naruto began to shout.


"Sasuke…?" I tried getting his attention with a low whisper.


"W-What?" he too was on his knees by now.


"You think you can hit Haku from here?" I asked.


"Why can't you do it?" he asked.


"Because... I don't have much practice with a kunai... I don't know how to use it effectively," I answered.


"Figures...." I heard Sasuke muttered. Ungrateful little brat!


"You're as soft as always...." I heard Zabuza say.


"I'm sorry," Haku said.


"Zabuza's right... if he really wanted to kill us," I thought. "Sasuke and I would be dead right now! Those hits he was giving us earlier, hurtful they were, but not fatal. If Haku could put Zabuza in a near-death state then, he could kill with a wave of his hand. Is he not going to--"


"Well then, I'll just have to defeat you first!" Naruto shout snapped me out of my thoughts. "So, you were Zabuza's friend. How dare you trick us!?"


"Sorry, but as your sensei said, tricking your opponent is the true art of the shinobi," Haku said. "Don't hate me for it."


Out of the corner of my eye I saw Sasuke with a kunai in his hand. He was about to attack! Sasuke finally threw his kunai but Haku dodged it by just moving back. "I haven't forgotten about you two," Haku said.


"Good going Sasuke!" I said sarcastically, of course.


"You the one suggested it to me!" Sasuke retorted.


"Oh yeah...." I mused.


"Idiot!" Sasuke grumbled.


"I'd like it if you'd just stay down," Haku said looking directly at us. "But it looks like that's not going to happen. Fine then, let's finish things between us first."


"Nah, you can fight Naruto first!" I said. "I have no problem with waiting. It's not like I'm going anywhere!"


"No, I think I'll fight you first," Haku said walking to one of the mirrors... KUSO!


"Hey!" Naruto shouted getting Haku's attention making him stop short.


"Naruto-kun, we'll settle things later," Haku said and then he molded with the ice mirror he was in front of.


"Here he comes...!" I muttered. I saw Sasuke looking at the other mirrors, which Haku had not appeared in yet; Sasuke was going for a weapon....


"Over here," I heard Haku's voice behind us! I saw that Haku had disappeared from the mirror in front of us.


"That is fast!" I thought slowly turning around along with Sasuke. I saw a bunch of Hakus suddenly start appearing in all of the mirrors and he looked ready to attack! Suddenly I feel my body being attacked again with more needles; I tried to protect myself but it was of little use, I was thrown back by the on coming needles.


"SAKURA-CHAN! SASUKE!" I heard Naruto shout. Man, I am in pain, pain, pain, pain, pain, pain, pain!


"Sasuke!" I said struggling to get up, he was too. "He's moving so fast... that we can't even see him moving!"


"What?" he said. "That' impossible!"


"The mirrors... he's using them for transport," I said holding my leg, which was throbbing.


"I'm surprised you figured that," Sasuke said.


"Our only shot is for Naruto to attack the outside... while we attack the inside," I whispered softly so that Haku couldn't hear.


"You're right," Sasuke said. "That would be a good plan."


"HEY!" a voice startled me so much that I fell back in shock. "I came to save you!"


"N-N-Naruto!" I shouted.


"Are you okay, Sakura-chan, Sasuke?" Naruto asked.


"You total moron!" Sasuke and I shouted at the same time... weird. "If you're a shinobi, then move more carefully!" Sasuke finished.


"What did you say!?" Naruto shouted back. "I came to save you guys and this is what I get!?"


"W-Why did you come inside the mirrors!?" Sasuke asked.


"Yeah, it doesn't help if we all are trapped!" I shouted shaking Naruto like crazy!


It's just I really wanted to get out of here and Naruto screwed that up for me! "Damn it! I don't care anymore. You're an idiot!" Sasuke said looking away.


"Idiot…? How dare you call me an idiot… you idiot!" Naruto shouted once I had stopped shaking him. Sasuke stood up and looked at all the mirrors.


"All right then, I'll just bust these mirrors!" he said and then did some hand signs. "Fire Element:"


"Hey, what'cha gonna do?" Naruto asked.


"These mirrors are made of ice, so..." Sasuke said. "GRAND FIREBALL JUTSU!" A giant ball of fire suddenly came out of Sasuke's mouth, well; it looked like it came from his mouth. It went straight towards two of Haku's mirrors. Yet, when the fire cleared the mirrors were no where near melted.


"It didn't do anything at all!" Naruto shouted.


"You can't melt this ice with fire of that power level," Haku said.


"Well, at least you made it a little warmer in here," I said and which Sasuke glared at me.


Haku looked as if he was about to strike! And his ice mirrors suddenly glowed and that's when I felt even more pain hit my body knocking me off my feet! "AAHHH!" I screamed, I heard Sasuke and Naruto yell... they know they wanted to scream, too!


"Damn, where is he attacking from!?" Naruto said sitting up. "Is he using clones?" He stood up and looked around. "Where's the real one!?"


"Trying to follow me with your eyes is useless," Haku said. "You will never be able to catch me."


"SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" Naruto shouted.


"No, don't!" Sasuke yelled but it was too late. Naruto had created the clones and they were all about to attack the mirrors.


"I'll find the real one by crushing them all!" Naruto yelled. But before the Narutos could attack, I saw a blur zipping past all of the Narutos, going in and out of the mirrors!


One by one, the Naruto clones disappeared and the real Naruto came crashing down to Earth, right by Sasuke and I. "This jutsu uses the mirrors' reflections to transport me," Haku informed us. "From my point of view, you guys seem to be moving in slow motion."


"Damn it! So what!? I can't die here!" Naruto said. "I have a dream I must fulfill.... The dream to have everyone acknowledge my strength! And the dream to become Hokage!"


"He's right! We all have dreams!" I said struggling to stand. "I too have a dream... and I can't let you kill it!" And I am not talking about that one with Sasuke!


"Dream...?" I heard Haku whisper. Man, I can hear a lot of things in this world. "Becoming a true shinobi is difficult for me... If possible, I don't want to have to kill you. Nor want you to have to kill me. But if you come at me... I can destroy my kind heart with a blade, and become a true shinobi. This bridge is the place where we fight... to connect our dreams. Me, for my dream, and you, for your dreams. Please don't hate me."


Inner Mayu: That's kinda hard to do since... YOU'RE THROWING VERY SHARP NEEDLES AT ME!


"I want to protect someone precious to me... to work for that person, to fight for that person, to make that person's dream come true," Haku continued. "That is my dream. For that, I can become a shinobi. I will kill you!" he finished holding up three needles; I don't know why, but it caused all of us... Naruto, Sasuke and I... to smirk. I think I'm finally losing it after being in this world for so long!


Haku didn't make a move for a while. What was he waiting for? "For us to make an attack first?" I thought.


"Just because I screwed up the first time doesn't mean I'm going to quit," Naruto said, we were all standing by now. "I'll try as many times as I need to! Shadow Clone Jutsu!"


"Stop it!" Sasuke shouted but he had already completed the jutsu. Again the clones tried to attack and yet again Haku did the same thing he had done before.


But this time I saw Haku stop and prepared to attack both me and Sasuke with more needles! "Why me?" I thought as I felt the many needles pierced my skin, I cried out again in pain. I opened my eyes when the needles stopped coming and saw that there was only one Naruto.


"What the hell...!" he yelled. "One more time...! Shadow Clone Jutsu!" When the clones appeared, Sasuke kicked up some water...?


"What is he thinking?" I thought as Naruto's attack failed again.


The needle attack hit me again and again making me fall again. I struggled to get up again as I glared at Naruto's body. "I wish he would stop doing that!" I thought groaning a little. "I'm already in pain!" Naruto got up again and used his favorite technique! "Oh man, more pain!" I closed my eyes and waiting for the needles... a full minute went by but still no needles.


I opened my eyes slowly just in time to see Naruto fall to the ground again. Haku was already inside the mirrors. "What just happened?" I asked.


"I got him," Sasuke said smirking. "It was only his clothes, but I'm getting the timing down." I looked at Haku's clothes and noticed that the bottom of his pants was a little burnt.


"Damn it, we were so close," Naruto said.


"Naruto, can you still move?" Sasuke asked.


"Of course I can! I'm still okay!" Naruto said. Sasuke looked back at Haku with a thinking look on his face.


"You wanna fill me in Sasuke?" I asked. He didn't even spare me a glance. "Stupid, stuck up, brat!" I thought darkly. Suddenly, the ice mirrors began to glow and Sasuke started to perform hand signs.


"Naruto! Ma--Sakura! Run!" Sasuke said. "Go out of here and attack from the outside!"


"O-Okay!" we said in unison and began to run towards an exit. Naruto was ahead of me when I heard....


"Will you be able to?" Haku's voice rang in my ear.


"Oh crap!" I thought. "I don't think we're going to make it!"


Naruto didn't look like he was about to speed up anytime soon either! "Okay! Speed! Speed! Come on, Sakura! I need your speed!" I thought and suddenly I got a giant boost of speed. So much that I bumped into Naruto pushing him out of the cage. But before I could leave too, I felt sharp needles in my legs making me fall back. "OW! That really hurt!" I thought.


"AHHH!!" I heard Sasuke yell. I turn my head slightly to see him holding his shoulder a needle was sticking out of him.


"S-Sasuke," I managed to get out.


"May--Sakura...! What are you still doing here?" I saw him pull out the needle.


"Well, I would have if Naruto hadn't been going so slow!" I said standing and pulling out the needles in my legs. "Hurt and pain! Hurt and pain!" I thought going over to Sasuke. "Got any more bright ideas?" I said.


"You seem to be the smart one on the group..." Haku's voice got my attention. "I can't let you get anymore bright plans... it will slow down my victory."


Suddenly, Haku starting attacking only Sasuke with needles! The needles stuck out of his body as he fell to the floor. "Sasuke!" I said but a needle stabbed me in my hand when I tried to reach him. "OW!" I screamed pulling the needle out.


"Do not interfere," Haku said and then he kept attacking Sasuke making him actually cry out in pain.


"Sasuke...!" I yelled. "He's getting badly hurt!" I thought. "Where is Naruto!" I looked at to see Naruto's unmoving body outside the ice crystal. "I guess I pushed him to hard...."


"What should I do?" I asked myself. "I...don't think I can.... Sasuke's hurt... Naruto's unconscious... how do you get unconscious from a push, anyway!" I shook my head and then saw that Sasuke was bleeding to the point where he might actually die! "NO! I can't let my friends get hurt!" I thought. Suddenly my hands started making hand signs very quickly. "What the heck?" I thought as I suddenly stopped on the ram sign. "ISHIKARI STYLE:" I yelled without my mind telling it to. "MIND TRANSFER JUTSU!!"


I felt my body go limp and I felt myself suddenly feel light as a feather. I then felt a rush, next thing I know I was staring at my own body! Well, Sakura’s body of course. Her body slowly stood and looked around frantically. "What did you do?" Haku's voice came from Sakura's mouth.


"How did he get there?" I asked myself. "How did I get here?"


Suddenly, I get that familar rush and then I was back to staring at Haku again. "I'm back in Sakura's body!" I thought.


"What did you do to my body?" Haku asked making me look up at him. I pointed the palm of my hand to one of the ice mirrors and just like that... two of them turned into water! "What!? My jutsu was reversed!" I quickly grabbed Sasuke's body and ran like crazy out of there! I don't know what the heck just happened, but it saved me and Sasuke!


Inner Mayu: Now the Ishikaris rule too! CHA! Wait till I tell dad about this!


"M-M-Mayu, h-how did you do that?" I heard Sasuke whisper as he moved away from me; he began to pull the needles out slowly, wincing every time.


"I don't know. I've got no idea!" I said. "But it was cool! First I was in Haku's body and then I went back into this one! And then I could suddenly reverse Haku's technique! Almost like I was in control of his powers! Wicked!"


"Where did Naruto go? He was supposed to attack the outside!" Sasuke said pulling the last needle out of his leg.


"He was sorta knocked--" I never got to finish because I felt needles go into my back shoulder! I screamed out and pain and collapsed on the ground. The pain was ten times more than last time.


"Mayu!" I heard Sasuke call to me, but then I just felt one needle go into the back of my neck! Blood was coughed up and was vision became blurry. "You bastard!"


"She had my powers... she needed to die first," I heard Haku say. "I don't know how she did it but it doesn't matter now."


"S-Sasuke...." more blood coughing.


"Mayu," I felt him sit me up to look at him, but my eyes were closed from the pain. "Mayu... don't you die!"


I laughed a little which caused my blood to come up. "Don't worry about me. I won't die," I said opening my eyes to see Sasuke's glaring face. "What are you glaring for?"


"You're losing a lot of blood, idiot!" he answered.


"I said d-don't w-worry," I said closing my eyes and leaned on Sasuke's bloody chest... I think it was mine-- or Sakura's.... whatever! I stopped moving completely... I was just so tired.


"Mayu! Mayu, stay with me," Sasuke said, I think he was shaking me. "Mayu... no... Not you too."


"She would have been a powerful kunochi with that technique she used on me, though... I thought her name was Sakura," I heard Haku's voice. "Too bad, she's already gone."


"Shut up," I heard Sasuke say. "I'll make you pay for what you did to her!"


"I'm still here ya know!" I snickered which caused more blood to come out of my body. "But at this rate...."


"Save your strength," Sasuke said still holding on to me.


"I'm sorry... I didn't know you cared," I whispered.


"I don't... idiot," Sasuke said.


"Whatever.... bird brain," now my vision was already blurry but now everything ws getting black! "Stupid eyes...." was the last thing I thought before I could see or hear anthing anymore.

"Hone y, are you with us?" I heard a woman's voice; it sounded as if she was crying.


"Please wake up soon, Mayu-chan," this time it was a male's voice. I opened my eyes only to have them shut again; I groaned in agony. Why the heck was it so white? "Mayu-chan?" I opened my eyes slowly this time.


"MAYU!!" a screeched in my ear! "Call her friends! She's finally awake! My daughter was finally awake!"


"Daughter...?" I thought looking at a very happy looking woman. "Mom?"


"Mayu-chan!" the man's voice got my attention.


"Dad!" I said.


"Mayu! You had us so worried!" my mother scolded me with tears in her eyes.


"What are you talking about?" I asked.


"You don't remember?" my dad asked. "You ran into a car." HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I could have sworn he just said I ran into a car! HAHAHAAHA! "I'm serious. You were out for almost two weeks!" he continued as if reading my mind.


"But what about Naruto and... everyone else I met," I thought out loud. "I was with them!" I saw my parents exchange a look... I wonder what it meant.


"Mayu dear, the doctors say you would been able to go back to your Martial Arts classes after a week, when you wake up," mom said.... Was she changing the subject? But before I could ask, the door busted open and kids my age came stubling in.


"Mayu!" they all shouted in unison.


"Hey you guys!" I said grinning, this were my three best friends! I saw my parents leave the room, probably to talk to the doctors.


"Hey, how's your head?" Ichiro said; he was the joker of the group. "I can't believe you actually ran into a car!"

"You can't hold that against me if I don't remember!" I said sticking out my tongue.

"I saw the whole thing! You were running after a car because the person wouldn't buy the school candy from you. But the car stopped all of a sudden and you didn't! You just kept going!" Megumi said grinning; she was the smart one.

"Are you all right?" Kyoko asked; she was like big sister because she was 13.

"Yeah, but you will not believe the dream I had!" I said clapping my hands. I then began to tell them every thing that happened to me... excluding the dream with Sasuke! My friends knew that I didn't like him like that so why tell them? "And the next thing I know I hear my mom screeching in my ear!" I finished.

"That is so... cool!" they shouted in unison.

"Not really seeing as how I died in the end!" I said.

"You always get the cool dreams!" Ichiro whined.

"That's what you think!" I said. "Being called Sakura was terrible! And that actually expected me to act like her!"

"Whatever," he groaned. That's when the doctors came in along with my parents.

"You three have to leave so Mayu can rest," my dad said.

"But dad--" I began to say.

"No buts! Now go to sleep!" he said firmly.

"Meany!" I stuck my tongue out and then waved goodbye to my friends. Everyone else left with them... but then I began thinking. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" I yelled out. Seconds later, the doctor, my parents, and my friends rushed back into the room.

"What's the matter?" Megumi asked.

"I didn't get to see Panda-chan!" I cried out in pain.

"Who's panda-chan?" the doctor asked.

"That's who she calls her favorite anime character," Kyoko informed her.

"If I could sweat drop... I would," Ichiro said shaking his head.

I woke up to the sound of voices talking. They sounded like my parents. I opened my eyes and saw that it was night time, but quickly shut them when I heard my mom say my name. I listened carefully to what they were saying. "..... Are you sure that it's Mayu?" my mother's voice.

"Yes, you heard what she said when she was telling her story," this time it was dad's voice. "She knew the technique!"

"But...." I could hear my mom whimper.

"She doesn't have the eyes... that was our first clue..." dad said softly, I almost didn't hear. "Mayu is the one. Mayu is actually our--" I yawned a very, very loud yawn!

"Ah! Man, stupid mouth!" I thought as I acted liked I just got up by stretching.

"Mayu-chan! How long have you been up?" dad asked me.

"Just now...." I lied. "So, when do we go home?"

"Tomorrow morning if we're lucky," my mom sighed... in relief?

"Okay, I think I'll go back to sleep now," I said pulling the over my chest. "Night mom, dad!" But... I can't help but wonder. "What were they talking about?" I thought closing my eyes. "I don't have 'the eyes'?"

Well that was an exciting adventure for me! I guess my life will return to normal now that I'm out of the hospital! But what were my parents talking about? That was strange! Hey wait a minute! I'm back... in Naruto's world! Yes! I actually went back! Mega cool! I can't wait to see everyone in person again!

Wait a minute! Rewind that! 'My Life as Hinata Hyuga' what? NOT AGAIN!! Why can't I have my own body? This is screwed up! What...? This is the chunin exams? YAY! I get to show what I've learned since I've been in my world! -gasp- PANDA-CHAN! Panda-chan is gonna be there! Oh man! I can't wait now!
