My Only Hope
 
 
I look in the night,
my heart numbed with cold, and hatred.
I prayed that he would come one day.
I prayed that he would come and slay.
 
End my suffering and the painful
memories of my past.
I slaughtered my clan, my kin.
I killed them all,
and only left him alive, and alone.
 
He was my one hope,
he is my only hope.
I told him to grow strong,
and to hate me.
So that one day he would
come after me for revenge.
 
I'm an S-class criminal,
a wanted missing-nin.
I slaughtered them all,
my clan, my kin.
 
I am a missing-nin.
A member of Akatsuki.
My name is Uchiha Itachi,
and my only hope is my
little brother Sasuke.
