Summary: Hinata is engage to Itachi. So why does she end up kissing Itachi's younger brother, Sasuke?

 

My Secret, Your Secret.

 

Chapter 1:

 

An Engagement to be

 

Hyuuga Hinata gazed around the French restaurant. Everything looked exactly the same as it had when she'd last visit. Her father, Hiashi would always bring her to a place like this but this one was her favorite. But now, somehow, it all seemed different.

 

Sliding into a seat beside her father, Hinata turned her focus to a man seated across the table.

 

`Why will it need to be me?' she thought in sadness.

 

Hinata remembered her father telling her that today is the day that she will meet her future husband. Hiashi had arranged her engagement to the son of one of the riches family in the country, the Uchiha clan. The Uchiha's dominated the real estate business in the country and the owner of the Zion Airline, which was the great competitor of Hiashi's Gyrfalcon Air.

 

Hinata knew that this arrangement was all for business and nothing else.

 

“Hinata”

 

She turned her head to see her father. “Yes, Father?”

 

“I want you to meet Uchiha Itachi.” He said and gave a smile to the man across the table. “He's the son of the owner of Zion Airline.”

 

Hinata glanced at the man named Itachi to meet his onyx eyes and smiled. “It's so nice to meet you Uchiha-san.” She said politely.

 

“You don't need to call me Uchiha-san since your going to be my wife soon.” Itachi stated and gave a slight smile to Hinata.

 

“Um…alright.” She replied and looked down on her lap, feeling a bit embarrassed.

 

“I'm sorry if my father couldn't come. He has some important meeting today.” Itachi said to Hiashi.

 

The older Hyuuga smiled. “It's alright.”

 

“Before I forget…” Itachi then took out a small red box from the pocket of his black suit. “I need to give you this.” He said and handed the small box to Hinata.

 

Hinata hesitantly took the box from his hands and opened it. Her white pearled eyes widen in surprise when a diamond ring was revealed upon her.

 

“It's your engagement ring.” He said and took Hinata's right hand. “You should wear this.” With that, Itachi slid the ring into her ring finger.

 

Hinata didn't know what to say. She was just left staring at the diamond ring on her finger.

 

Actually Hinata was expecting that there will be an engagement party since their families were well-known but Itachi was a very private person so they end up having the engagement in a French restaurant.

“So how was the engagement with that Uchiha guy?” Ino Yamanaka asked as she flipped her long blond hair behind her shoulder and leaned back to the couch in the living room of the Hyuuga.

 

“It's fine. Actually he had given me an engagement ring.” Hinata replied and showed her right hand to Ino.

 

Ino's blue yes widen in amazement as she saw the diamond ring. “Wow, he really is one of the rich people even though he didn't broadcast it to the whole world about your engagement.”

 

“Yeah, he's one of the rich people out there but I don't like his attitude.” Hinata stated with a heavy sigh.

 

“I think you're right.” Ino coincided. “There were rumors about their family.”

 

“Rumors, what rumors?” Hinata asked in curiosity.

 

Ino picked up the tea cup on the table and took a sip of the tea. “Haven't you heard about Itachi's younger brother?” she said and returned the cup on the table.

 

Hinata shook her head. “I didn't knoe Itachi has a brother.”

 

“Oh well.” Ino said with a shrug. “Anyway his brother's name is Sasuke.”

 

“So what about him?”

 

“From what I've hear, Sasuke is the black sheep of the family and the family were having a problem dealing with Sasuke's attitude.” Ino stated with dismay. “What a loss! I heard he's quite a looker.”

 

“Based on what you said, I think that the Uchiha family has an attitude problem.” Hinata said.

 

Ino laughed. “Yeah and you're marrying a guy with an attitude problem of his own. I must say, you should be careful.”

 

“I think so.” Hinata paused, trying to make sure her voice sounded normal. “I'm starting to think if I should back out now but it seems that my father would kill me if I will.”

 

Ino patted Hinata's shoulder. “Well I think Itachi is a good man compare to his brother.” She said, trying to cheer her up. “Don't worry. Everything will be ok.”

 

Hinata then gave a warm smile to Ino.
