Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Naruto High School ❯ Gaara ( Chapter 2 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Wednesday Afternoon: 7:15PM – Principal Ibiki’s office.
Ibiki looked up to see the creepy-looking, transfer student from Suna standing in his doorway staring at him with his usual blank expression. He didn’t know much about the boy other than that he was on the baseball team and probably was one of the best hitters ever to come out of Suna.
“Yes?” Ibiki raised an eyebrow and motioned for the teen to take a seat in one of the chairs that stood in front of his desk.
Gaara took two steps in and sat down at the edge of the chair before staring a moment longer at the principal’s scarred face.
“No body likes me. Why don’t people like me?” he stated in a steady, emotionless voice causing Ibiki to in turn stare at him. The kid wanted to know why no one liked him, and for once Ibiki was actually speechless. Blinking away his initial shock, Ibiki looked at the teen and gave a heavy sigh.
“I’m afraid I can’t really answer that one, but surely you must have some friends. What about the guys on the team, or your siblings?”
“My brother is annoying and a threat to my well-being.” Gaara frowned when he thought about the hellish drive to try-out’s the night before, when Kankuro almost had manage to hit another car, a woman walking her dog, the milk truck and a lamp post – which he claimed had jumped out in front him.
“And our coach is crazy.”
“Oh?” What had Anko been up to now? Surely she wasn’t still angry about having to take on all the classes – was she?
"She doesn't even seem like the type to like bunnies"
“Bunnies?” All right, this kid had some serious issues, and Ibiki did his best not to start twitching as he grabbed hold of the desk.
“What about them?” His voice was low, growling as he glared harshly at the teen.
“I like them, especially the pink ones,” Gaara said in a neutral voice before walking out of the office, leaving a highly disturbed Ibiki behind.
