Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Naruto...my friends...soo don't mix! ❯ Day 1 ( Chapter 3 )

I was the first to wake up the next morning. It was somewhere around 8 o'clock.
I readied myself enough within the next half hour, but didn't feel like putting on my jeans yet so I put on my shorts, then woke up everyone else by putting on my rent CD.
“Ugh.” Stacy said as she began to wake. “What time?”
“Wake up time.” I said peskily.
Haley muttered a cuss word under her breath.
“Haley!” She looked at me. “What happened to giving up cussing to become a nun?”
“Bitch.” She said. “I don't cuss as much as I used to.”
“That's what you said last year, so quit it, I don't like cuss words, they're evil.” She glared.
Everyone gradually woke up, and got to whatever they needed to do to get ready. Samantha took longest, Paige took least.
“Yo Pas.” I called to Paige, Pas is one of her lessor nicknames being that it's her initials, as “The Tango: Maureen” began “Doncha just wanna tango?” We laughed, and sang along. Doing our usual solos.
I sing Mark's lines, because he has more. She sings Joanne's, because I sing Mark's.
Paige: This is weird.
Tori: It's weird.
Paige: Very weird.
Tori: Fricken weird.
Paige: I'm so mad that I don't know what to do. Fighting with microphones freezing down to my bones, and to top it all off I'm with you.
Tori: Feel like going insane? Got a fire in your brain, and your thinking of drinking gasoline?
Paige: As a matter of fact.
Tori and Tristan: Honey I know this act it's called the tango Maureen.
“Tristan!” I screamed. “Don't upset me!” I scanned the room. He'd taken away my singing mood. “Look. I'm guessing that today is the day of the genin exams, which means Naruto will fail, Mizuki will tell him to steal the scroll, then it'll be somewhat crazy, though that whole battle is at night I believe. Hmm I don't remember anymore. Well it doesn't matter just,” I raised my voice, and nailed these words into their minds. “DON'T SCREW WITH THE PLOTLINE. Got it? Well anyway out of the room I hae work.”
They nodded.
“Your trulely the only on that could though really.” Stacy said, as we filed out with all our stuff. We'd leave it at the ramen stand during the day. “After all you're the one that loves Kakashi.”
Argh my accessories. I'd absentmindedly put them on normally, so I had to fix everything.
I walked into the ramen shop after everyone except Samantha had left to do something, again in groups with a meeting time.
“Why didn't you go with them?” I asked Samantha as I got to work.
“You should get company since your doing all this for us.” She said.
“Well I appreciate the company.” I said more than truthfully.
Samantha was being her usual wonderful social self, by talking to a bunch of customers. I smiled as I thought of meeting Kakashi, which remained a distant dream. I may be in his world, but I'm no ninja. Even if I met him he wouldn't care about me I'd act like I know him, and he'd just freak out.
Samantha looked at my now sad form.
“What's wrong?” She asked.
“N Nothing.” I said putting on a fake happy attitude.
“I may only have known you for a year, but I know when something's wrong! You're my bestest buddy!!!!” She said trying to cheer me up, like always.
I sighed. “Why do you always have to break me?” I asked, then told her what I'd been thinking..
“Why do you always have to drag yourself down?” She asked me.
“Because I'm not worth anything! To anyone! Ever!” I spoke what to me is the truth. For all my life I never got treated as anything not even by my family. They were some of the worst. My two perfect sisters. So talented, and beautiful. They'd beat me out at everything. Guys never cared about me. I was one of few at my school who'd never even been asked out, unless you count the time one of my not really friends not really just someone asked me out as a joke.
Samantha's face became somewhat mad somewhat upset. She hated it when I talked about myself like that. “Why do you think that? For all you know you could meet Kakashi, and you two could become good friends.”
I rolled my eyes. By now school was over as was graduation. The others were due back soon, and I'd get off work. In stead though the owner let me off a little early, but said if I could to come back for the dinner rush since many of the graduating students would be there to celebrate, then he said he'd tell my friends where I was if they came looking.
Samantha, and I bought the room for the night then went window shopping. We ran into Paige, and Stacy. They said Haley had been with them but she ran off to find Tristan
Eventually Samantha and I returned to the shop, and a few minutes later everyone else showed up. I only saw two of the rookie nine come into the ramen shop, Sakura, and Kiba, of course accompanied by Akamaru.
I told each of them they'd love, and hate the first day of school as a genin. I also told Sakura that it was very important she not underestimate her teacher.
“Won't Iruka Sensei still be my teacher?” She asked.
Oy. What do I say? “It doesn't matter who your teacher is.” I protested. “Just don't underestimate him!”
She looked at me as if I were crazy, I simply rolled my eyes, and took her order.
We were so slammed I had no time to talk with my friends, but Samantha would try desperately to get my attention if she saw a guy she thought was cute. After about the fifth guy I told her to tell Stacy, and Haley I was too busy.
After work we all headed back to the room. It was too late to watch a movie so we continued watching Friends from where we'd left off the previous night. We decided that since Paige had brought seasons 1-9, and I'd brought 10, we'd watch the whole series in bits.
After a little while everyone fell asleep, so I took a shower (I have an irrational habit that I have to take a shower every night before I fall asleep. It makes me feel nice, and clean), turned off the show, and went to bed, thinking about Tristan, and Kakashi.
