Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Naruto...my friends...soo don't mix! ❯ Cell 7 ( Chapter 5 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
I knew soon Naruto would have his first kiss with Sasuke, and get quite a beating by every girl in class other than Me, Stacy, Paige, Samantha, and Haley. Suddenly Naruto saw me, and shouted my name or rather what he may have thought was my name.
“Hey! Ramen shop girl!” He shouted. I looked at him. Well actually we all did. “I didn't know you were a ninja!”
“Neither did I.” I whispered. All my friends laughed.
“How come you work at the shop, and are coming to class?” He asked. Now Sakura recognized me.
“Hey why'd you give me all that advice?” She asked.
“Please no more questions I'm not in the mood can I talk to my friends?” I asked.
“Yeah I guess.” Sakura said.
From there it went perfectly smoothly until right before lunch when we were called out of the room.
During lunch when we met Kakashi. I became “Madame stutter”. I couldn't get out anything without attempting saying it at least twice until Tristan told me I was being exactly like Ryan Stiles in some episodes of “Whose Line is it Anyway?” mostly during “greatest hits”. That's when I defeated the stutter.
After being with him for a while he told us he had to go, and that he'd meet us later along with Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto. Then lastly he reminded us we'd be advisers not students, and left. I gawked at him as he walked off.
“He's so amazing.” I said.
“Gosh snap out of it you strange girl.” Haley said, as we began walking to the classroom.
“Girl?” Tristan asked. “I thought she was Ryan Stiles.”
I let out a low growl. “Run.” I advised him. Immediately he began running, and I went after him.
When we got to the classroom we both stopped running, and waited for the rest of our group.
I knew we'd be the last to get our sensei so I hid myself, and checked in the book what time he'd be coming. After everyone had gone with their sensei, and it was cell 7, and our group left I began to hum “La Vie Boheme”.
“What is that humming?” Sakura asked. I had no clue what was going on around me. I was lost in my thoughts of when I'd met Kakashi just maybe hours ago.
“Sorry.” Samantha said, since I didn't realize Sakura had asked. “Tori is lost in her thoughts. Just be happy those four aren't actually singing the song.”
Sakura laughed. “What do you mean though? You don't like their voices or what?” she asked.
“No I've just heard the song too many times.” Samantha said. “They sang it constantly at school.”
My tune switched from “La Vie Boheme” to “The Tango: Maureen”.
“Has she ever pouted her lips, and called you…pookie?” Tristan sang quietly.
“Have you ever doubted a kiss or two?” Paige sang a little louder taking me from my thoughts.
“This is spooky.” I sang.
“Please stop.” Stacy said.
“Fine.” I said.
“What the heck have you been thinking?” Haley asked me. “Austin?”
“Heck fricken no.” I said. “I stopped being that obsessive over him like last month.”
“Scott?” she asked.
“I stopped liking him when summer started.”
“Then who?” Haley asked.
I could tell Samantha knew I was thinking about Kakashi, and a little bit Tristan. I jumped off the desk, and walked to Haley. I could feel Naruto Sasuke and Sakura staring at me.
I whispered. “Their teacher.” To Haley, and she understood. “Please shush.”
She nodded.
“I wonder who's teacher will come first out of us.” Sakura said. I laughed. “What's so funny?”
“She knows.” Samantha said.
“How?”
“Inspiring?” I asked.
“Days of inspiration.” Haley said
“Playing hookey.”
“Making something outta nothing.”
“The need to express to communicate.”
“Stop please!” Samantha yelled.
We all growled. Then Naruto said. “Our teachers gonna pay for making us wait.” And set up his trap. I really growled, because I knew it would hit Kakashi, and then I wouldn't have stopped it. I made myself invisible disappearing from behind Haley. I ran and stole it from the door. I reappeared right in front of the door, and Naruto gasped.
“How'd you do that?” He asked.
I laughed. “I have my ways.” He looked confused, now the six of us were laughing. I high-fived Samantha when I got back over to them. I threw Naruto back his case thing or whatever. He caught it, and put it back over the door. I growled but Samantha held me back.
Kakashi opened the door, and just as I knew it would it hit him right on the head. I let out a low growl and disappeared.
“Well based on my first impression, I'd have to say I hate you.” Kakashi said also as I knew he would.
Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto were saying what they were supposed to as well until I, still invisible, punched Naruto in the back of the head. Samantha knew exactly what I'd done.
“Tori visible yourself.” She said.
I growled, and became visible right next to Naruto, who was rubbing the back of his head. I must've looked like a two year old with my arms crossed, and a sour look on my face.
“Heh! You look like a two year old.” Tristan said.
I scowled. “I least I don't laugh obnoxiously like my sister.”
“Her laugh is famous.” He said defensively.
I growled.
“Take it back. Take it back!” Samantha warned.
“Hey ramen girl!” Naruto shouted.
“My name is Tori! Not ramen girl!” I shouted at Naruto, who was stunned. Then I walked back to my friends.
“Tell me about yourself.” Kakashi said.
We were standing behind Kakashi who was standing facing cell 7.
“Why don't one of you guys show us?” Sakura asked.
The day was generally the same as in the book despite the fact that the dialogue was somewhat different.
“How about ramen girl?” Naruto asked ripping me from my thoughts.
“Please call me by my name.” I said.
“Tell us about yourself.” He persisted.
“Fine.” I said. “My name Ishihara Tori, my dislikes pretty much everything. My likes music, fighting, friends, and…” I wanted to say guys, but that wouldn't go well with Kakashi, “actually I suppose that's it… well my dream…” I paused. Back home my dreams had been to be the first Danielle Trump, actress, or author, but here I didn't know, after all this was ninja world not business/entertainment world. “I suppose my dream would is simply to be the best shinobi I can.” I sighed.
“How about the rest of your group?” Naruto asked.
My friends, and cell 7 gave their introductions. The whole time I pretty much stared at Kakashi hoping no one would notice. Afterwards we began to walk h]to our houses as a group.
“Tori!” I looked at Samantha. “Don't you have to be at the ramen shop?”
My eyes widened I'd completely forgotten. I was supposed to have been there about an hour ago, and I'd never told the owner I had school. “Yes! And if I don't work I can't pay for the hotel!”
“Hotel?” Sakura asked. We'd somewhat forgotten the ninja were there.
“Yeah.” I said. “We're new to Konoha, and we don't have enough money to get a house.”
“You can stay with me.” Sakura said. “I'm sure we have enough room, and it would make it a lot easier on you.”
I looked at Samantha who gave me a thoughtful look back. “I don't want us to impose.” I said.
“I doubt it would be too much trouble.” She insisted.
“You don't know Tristan, Stacy, Samantha, Haley, Paige, and me.” I said very fast, making her very confused. “I just mean that we're not exactly the perfect bunch of people, I don't even get along with Tristan.”
“It's impossible to get along with my brother.” Paige said.
“Just stay tonight, and if it doesn't work then it doesn't.” Sakura said.
“I guess.” I said. “But why do want us to stay so badly?”
“Company.” She said simply.
