In the middle of the afternoon, Naruto was facing a tree panting, in his taijutsu stance on his teams training field. He has on a white kimono top (Like Sasuke's in part two) that is open enough to for everyone to see his chest. He has on black cargo pants and ninja sandals. On his wrist are red wrist bands and red greaves under his pants, which Anko switched with his normal weights. His forehead protector was over his eyes. On his back is his was his katana with the red scabbard with the black dragon on it. He has the katana strapped diagonally to his back by a leather shoulder strap. His has a black pouch attach to his belt and a kunai holster on his right leg.

He stepped on the ground and felt his chakra rotate around his leg. He collected it into his right arm and reeled his arm back. He rotated his body on his toes aiming his fist towards the tree. He unleashed his chakra causing the tree to fly from the ground with dirt and rocks. He panted lightly as the tree hit the ground a few meters from his position. “You still haven't mastered that easy attack.” A voice from his side taunted. Naruto mouth twitched as he turned to his side.

He got the image of Maya leaning on a tree watching him with a smirk on her face. She is wearing a silvery-blue sleeveless qipao with two slits at the sides near her waist and a gold dragon circling it. Her forehead protector on her left arm and wore an obi around her waist. On her wrist are wrist bands and on her legs are blue leather greaves. She is holding a 67 1/2 nodachi in its blue scabbard. Strapped to her right thigh is a kunai holster and a tan pouch attached to her obi. She is holding a 67 1/2 nodachi in its blue scabbard. “It's not my fault. I don't have the type of control to master this technique.” Naruto replied.

“Naruto you don't need much control for that attack.” Maya said. Maya stood up from the tree and stomped her right foot. Naruto sensed the chakra move to her arm before she thrust her arm backward. Her elbow hit the tree and a second later the back of the tree was blown outward. “See, I barely needed any control.” Maya said smugly as leaves fell from the tree. Naruto turned around and got back into his stance. He breathed in deeply before channeling chakra through out his legs and arms. Maya watched careful as she grabbed a leaf that was falling. She channeled chakra into it and tossed it toward Naruto. It spun like shuriken as it moved at high speeds. Just before it reached Naruto drew his katana and hit the leaf upward. It soared over his head and cut off a branch.

“Why did you do that?” Naruto asked turning towards her with his sword ready to strike.

“You should already know.” She said drawing her nodachi. Before she could completely draw her sword a kunai hit the ground in between them.

“Hey brats.” Anko greeted with a smile. Both Maya and Naruto turned towards Anko who was standing on a tree branch.

“Sensei” Maya said sheathing her sword.

“Hi Hebi-sensei. What the hell took you so long? You've been gone for at least three hours.” Naruto said getting back into his stance.

“I had something important to do.” Anko said with a smile. Naruto got out of his stance and turned toward Anko.

“What was so important that you had to leave you loveable team?” Naruto asked.

“Well had to get the old man to let us go on a C-ranked mission.” Anko said happily.

“And did you?” Naruto asked.

“Yeah.” Anko said.

“How did you get us a C-ranked mission so soon? It's only been a week since we became a team.” Maya asked.

“It was easy if you know how to get the old man on your side.” Anko replied.

“So what's the mission?” Naruto asked.

“It's an escort mission. Protect a bridge builder. The only problem is that we are teamed up with Team 7. But no big deal.” Anko said.

“Hm, seems like fun.” Naruto said smirking.

“Why are we teamed up with team 7?” Maya asked.

“Hn, the hokage said that since we are going straight to c-ranked missions that we will need a way to show our skills. So he's sending team 7 along to help and assess us. Or something like that.” Anko said.

“So he wants to make sure we can handle it, huh? Oh well. At least Aya's coming along on our first mission.” Naruto said.

“So where's the client?” Maya asked with an annoyed tone.

“We'll meet at the Southern gate in an hour. Bring your weapons and everything you'll need for at least a few weeks.” Anko said before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

“Maya you shouldn't be that angry at this. It was bound to happen especially with the council. This is only to show them that we can take on better missions.” Naruto said.

“I know. I just don't like it.” Maya said sighing.

“There's not much we can do about it now.” Naruto said shrugging. “But the way…” Naruto started turning to her.

“Hn.” She replied turning to him. She noticed him digging in his pocket a split second before pulling out a blue case.

“I need your help with something.” Naruto said.

“With what?” She asked.

“Um you'll know soon enough. For now I need you to close your eyes and hold your hand out.” Naruto said. She titled her head slightly and shrugged. She closed her eyes and held out her right hand. Naruto opened the case and took out the glowing crystal that was attached to a nylon cord. He placed the crystal in her hand and placed his hand a few inches over hers with his index finger. “Okay now I need you to charge your chakra into the object in your hand until I say stop.” Naruto instructed.

“Fine.” She said. She started to channel her chakra into the crystal as Naruto made a one handed seal. Very soon red chakra covered his hand going to the index finger as he also channeled it into the crystal. Sensing the chakra Maya frowned. “Naruto?” She asked.

“It's nothing.” Naruto said. After a minute and stopped channeling his chakra and placed his hand over hers. “You can stop now.” He said. She stopped and opened her eyes. She looked at Naruto before looking at her hand. He removed his hand revealing a purple crystal.

She blinked before looking at Naruto curiously. She looked back at the necklace with a blink stare. Naruto got the image of her blank face and took on a depressed expression.

“You don't like it.” Naruto said in a sad tone.

“Huh? No, I mean yes I like it. It's pretty.” She said in a hurry. His expression changed from dejected to ecstatic in less then a second.

“So you like it?” Naruto asked with a hopeful expression.

“Yeah. But why did you get it for me?” She asked. Naruto blushed again turning away from her.

“Is it a problem to just get my friends a present?” He asked.

“No but I don't think I did anything for you to get this for me.” Maya said.

“So? I felt like getting it for you.” He said. She smiled at him before taking it out of the case and. She held it carefully as she put the case in her pouch. She tied the necklace around her neck and smiled.

“How do I look?” She asked taking a pose. Naruto got the image of her and smiled.

“…Sexy.” Naruto let out with a smirk. She smirked with a blush on her face.

“Thanks but we can't just stand here while you admire my looks. We have to get ready for the mission.” She said.

“Alright I'll meet you at the gate in an hour.” Naruto said.

“Alright.” She said jumping into the tree. He got the image of her dashing away and smiled. He started to away from the training ground with a smirk on his face.

He stopped near a tree and stomped his right foot. He felt his chakra rotate around his leg and collected it into his right arm and reeled his arm back. He rotated his body on his toes aiming his fist towards the tree. He unleashed the chakra once his fist hit the tree. A large portion of the bark on the back was blown outward. `Hn, now it is one out of three shots. I'm getting better.' Naruto thought with a smirk. He jumped up in the tree and dashed away.

After a few minutes Naruto stopped outside his door. He did a few hand seals and touched the door. The door glowed orange as seals appeared on the window and door. It disappeared after a few seconds as Naruto took out some keys. Naruto unlocked the door and opened it up. He ran in side closing the door afterward and went straight into his room. He went into his closet and pulled out a backpack. He went over to his draw and opened the first one. He started to pack what he needed for the mission. After he was finished he put a few books on seals and jutsus inside before he closed his back pack. He took out an unraveled scroll with kanji on it. Naruto did a few hand seals and placed his hand on the scroll. The bag disappeared in a puff of smoke and the kanji glowed briefly signaling the backpack was sealed. Naruto picked up the scroll and put it inside his kunai pouch.

Naruto quickly left the apartment activating the seal after locking the door. He jumped to his roof quickly dashing toward the eastern gate. `Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something?' Naruto thought. `It probably nothing.' He thought speeding up. He took him less than five minutes to get there but when he did he fell to the ground in shock. He got up quickly and pointed his towards Maya. “Hey Maya!” Naruto yelled out.

“What took you?” Maya asked.

“I just decided to take it slow.” Naruto said. She shrugged and looked around.

“Aya is still packing so we're most likely going to be alone for a while. What to do you what to do for an hour.” Maya said.

“Hn, how about we finished what you started.” Naruto said drawing his katana and getting into his stance. She smirked as she drew her nodachi. She saw the katana Naruto was using and raised an eyebrow.

“When did you switch the katana?” Maya asked.

“This morning, I'm surprised you didn't notice.” Naruto said.

“And you didn't get Reiki because?” Maya asked getting in her stance.

“Because I didn't want too.” Naruto said charging at her.

“Hn.” Maya replied placing her left hand on the hilt. She concentrated her chakra into her blade as Naruto was in range of her blade. She brought her sword in a downward arc toward Naruto as he swung his katana. The blades collided picking up dust. Naruto felt the ground crack under in as he pushed chakra to his katana. Naruto pushed back barely making her budge. She suddenly jumped back having her blade resting on her shoulder. “You were actually able to stay standing.” Maya said tauntingly.

“Shut up” Naruto said charging at her again. Before he reached her swords range he jumped up with his sword above his head. He swung it downward only for Maya to sidestep him. She swung her sword as he landed. Instinctually Naruto crouched down lower dodging the blade only getting some of his hair cut. Naruto rolled backward jumping back as his feet hit the ground. Naruto gather chakra into his blade as he landed. “Sonikku a-ku” Naruto said swinging his sword downward. Maya saw the ground split and the air above it distort while heading towards her and added chakra to her sword.

“Sonikku shuuha” Maya said swinging it horizontally while unleashing the chakra. The two chakra attack hit each other battling for control. After ten seconds Maya attack broke through Naruto's. Naruto jaw dropped before he quickly leaned back. He felt the chakra wave pass over his head a split second before he fell to the ground. He panted as he stood back up.

“What the hell? Were you trying to kill me?” Naruto yelled with his index finger pointing at her.

“Why would you think that?” She asked innocently.

“Fine you wanna play, so be it. All the rules are off.” Naruto said stabbing his katana into the ground.

“Fine with me.” Maya said with a smirk.

1 Hour later

Aya walked towards the gate with a blue backpack on. She stopped at a tree looking at the war zone with her mouth open. Rocks are up heaved, there are craters all over the place, trees are knocked over with some of them on fire. She saw Sasuke and Sakura with their mouths open also as the stared at the carnage. “That's the way to do it Maya-chan!!!” She heard. She turned her head to see Anko sitting on a tree branch with a huge smirk and her bag next to her. She turned her head to where she was looking to see Maya and Naruto fighting. “Naru-chan! Put more of your weight into your attacks!!” Anko yelled. Naruto seemed to follow her advice and threw a punch. Maya blocked it only to be pushed back. Maya slid to a stop and jumped back.

She stopped at a tree and hit it with her elbow. The back of it was blown outward as the leaves fell from the tree. Her hands blurred as she collected leaves from the air. She briefly added chakra into them before tossing them at Naruto. Naruto drew his sword and started to swing it towards leaves that were spinning like shiruken. He got the image of the leaves and smirked. He hit only the necessary ones as the others pass by him. Naruto quickly sheathed his blade before charging at Maya. Maya saw this and charged at him also. Just before she reached him she crouched down before jumping up while she flipped over landing on her hands.

Naruto froze mid step blood trailing from his nose as he got the image of her panties. Maya pushed herself off the ground spinning with her legs out. Naruto not ready for it got hit by her feet several times making him spin before hitting the ground face first. Maya landed on her hands and pushed herself off the ground flipping in air and landing on her feet. Maya panted heavily as she looked down at Naruto. Naruto groaned as before he coughed out blood. “Naruto-Kun!” Maya heard. She turned to the side Aya running towards Naruto. Aya slid to a stop and knelt down next to Naruto and turned him over. She picked up his head and rested him on her lap. “Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun! Are you all right?” Aya said hurriedly her voice filled with concern.

Anko appeared next to Naruto and Aya as Maya walked closer to him. “Aya…don't worry. He'll be…okay.” Maya said still panting as she picked up her scabbard and sheathing her sword. “I think” She added. Aya turned to her eyes watering.

“How can you said that when you didn't even check him?” Aya said in a tone that made it seem like she was getting ready to cry.

“Because he takes worst on a daily basic from me.” Anko said kneeling down. She looked at Naruto, studying him before slapping him. Aya looked shocked and was about to snap at Anko before Naruto groaned again and sat up.

“What the…hell was that for?” Naruto said holding his cheek in pain.

“You were sleeping on the job.” Anko said.

“Naruto” Aya said happily grabbing on to him.

“Aya?” Naruto said in a curious tone. Aya snuggled into his shirt while Naruto turned towards Maya. Maya shrugged and Naruto patted Aya's head. “It's alright. I'm fine.” He felt Aya nod her head into his chest. “So I'm guessing the hour passed.” Naruto said.

“Yep.” Anko said.

“That's good.” Naruto said. “But where are Kakashi and the client?” Naruto asked as Aya loosed her grip on him and brought her head off of him.

“I don't…well speak of the devil” Anko said looking towards Sasuke who had a blush on his face with a glare towards Naruto and Sakura who was still in shock. Kakashi walked with an old man at his side only to stop. An old man reeking of alcohol came in and started drinking. He wore a brown shirt with a purple sash tried at his waist. He also had on yellow brown pants with a backpack on. He had gray hair and a beard and wore white glasses and a white rope tied to his head.

“Oh my...” Kakashi said looking at the battle sight.

“What the hell happened here?” Tazuna asked. Sakura simply pointed to Naruto and Maya.

“Whoa. Two little brats did this?” Tazuna said. He didn't notice how Maya and Naruto's ear twitched.

“I'm going to ignore what he just said.” Maya said. As Naruto nodded and stood up. Naruto held out his hand to Aya. Aya took his hand and was pulled up.

“Well now that everyone is here lets get going.” Anko said before walking off towards the gate.

“Wait, wait, wait, wait. He's the client?” Naruto asked pointing at Tazuna.

“Yeah.” Anko said.

“Nope, nope I'm not doing it. I refuse to protect him.” Naruto said.

“What? Why?” Anko asked.

“Because I don't protect men Ok.” Naruto said.

“Who did you think a bridge builder was anyway, a woman?” Maya asked.

“Well yes. It's a possibility.” Naruto said.

“Naruto you don't have a choice in the matter.” Anko said with a stern glare.

“I'm not doing it and you can't make me.” Naruto said. Maya shook her head and sighed as everyone looked at him weirdly.

“That's fine. I don't need a stupid looking kid protecting me anyway.” Tazuna said. What happened next surprised nearly everyone. Naruto drew his blade and dashed at Tazuna faster than Sasuke and Sakura could see. Once he got in range he swung his katana at Tazuna. His blade nearly got to his neck before it stopped. Naruto growled as someone grabbed his arm from behind. “It's not such a good idea to kill your client.” Kakashi said behind him. Tazuna gave Naruto a fearful look as he turned to look at Kakashi.

“Shit.” Maya said.

“Huh?” Anko replied as Naruto stepped on the ground.

“Kakashi-sensei, move out the way.” Aya screamed out. He reacted quickly as Naruto turned with a speed that shouldn't belong to a genin. Naruto thrust his elbow back toward Kakashi stomach gathering chakra around his arm. Kakashi barely managed to move to the side as chakra burst from his elbow. He watched as the air seemed distorted as it passed him. The ground broke apart following the path Naruto thrust his elbow towards. Kakashi eye widened briefly before he was kicked back. He held his stomach as he slid to a stop.

“I'll tell you this once. Don't get behind me.” Naruto said. Kakashi stared at him with a glare as Naruto turned to Tazuna who was now on the ground. “Don't call me stupid.” He said sheathing his blade.

`With that amount of chakra….was he trying to kill me?' Kakashi thought to himself.

“Hey! Why the hell did you do that?” Sakura asked.

“I don't like guys behind me.” Naruto said. He was about to walk back to Maya when he felt wire wrap around him. He growled as he was pulled forward, off his feet to where Anko was. He landed on the floor and tilted his head up to Anko. “Hey get me out of this.” Naruto said struggling against the wire.

“No. What the hell is wrong with you? Attacking a comrade for such a trivial matter as that!” Anko yelled out.

“Hey it's not my fault. It's a habit.” Naruto said.

“How is it a habit?” Anko asked. Naruto looked at her with his mouth slightly opened. He was about to replied but his replied died right in his mouth. “I thought so.” Anko said glaring at him. “Sorry about him.” Anko said looking at Kakashi.

“It alright.” He said with his eye still on him.

“If I let you go are you going to try anything else?” Anko asked.

“No.” Naruto grumbled.

“Good.” She said. Before she could do much Naruto stood up with the wire falling off him. “What the?” Anko said.

“If I got out of it before you would have hit me.” Naruto said. “Like I said before I'm not protecting him.” Naruto said.

“Fine stay here.” Maya said. Naruto turned to her with his mouth slightly open. “I'll just take all the fun for myself. You know it is possible a few jounin may ambush up.” Maya said smiling. Naruto's hand twitched as she continued. “There could be ten of them and they could easily take…”

“Fine you got me. Damn it, I'll come.” Naruto said growling.

“Good, now let's go.” Maya said. “Hey old man lets go.” She said smiling. Anko blinked and shrugged.

`Works for me.' Anko said before going to the guard.

After watching Anko talk to the gate guard they were on their way to the land of waves. Naruto stood behind Tazuna with Maya on his right and Aya on his left. Kakashi was on Tazuna's right reading a book and Anko on his left while Sakura and Sasuke were in front of him. Naruto was annoyed. Why you might ask. Well the reason is that the idiot Sasuke kept glancing back at Maya. Maya noticed it but didn't really care; Aya was listening to Naruto's CD player, and Sakura seem oblivious to it.

“Hey Naruto!” Sakura called.

“What?” Naruto replied sourly.

“Are you really blind or are you just trying to look cool?” Sakura asked.

“No I'm not blind.” Naruto said.

“What your problem with males?” Sakura asked.

“I'm not answering that question.” Naruto replied.

“Hey Maya-san, why do you hang out with him?” Sakura asked annoyed.

“Because he a friend and fun to beat up on.” Maya replied.

“Hn, you only beat me because you cheated.” Naruto grumbled.

“Oh come on. How did I cheat this time?” Maya asked in an annoyed tone.

“That spin kick you did. You knew what affect that would have on me.” Naruto said accusingly.

“So what?” Maya replied. Naruto was about say something when Aya took off the headphones.

“Naruto.” Aya said.

“Yeah.” Naruto replied turning to her.

“Are there ninja in wave country?” Aya asked in a worried tone.

“Nope they don't have any. With wave being surrounded by water they really don't need any.” Naruto said. “But it just makes it a nice place for missing nin to go. Though I doubt they will attack.”

“But in the best case scenario, some fat rich guy is controlling wave and sends some missing-nin to fight us.” Maya said. Tazuna started to sweat and took a glance at Maya.

“Nope. It's just bandits.” Anko said.

“But why would bandits want to ruin a bridge?” Naruto asked. Tazuna sweated more not noticing Maya's stare.

“Ah who cares? Hopeful we just find some bandits to beat up soon.” Maya said.

“What you two didn't get enough of a fight back there” Anko said. They turned to each other before turning to Anko.

“No.” They both said.

“Well then I guess I will have up your training.” Anko said.

“Bring it on.” Naruto said.

“I could take anything that you could ditch out.” Maya said. “Not so sure about Naruto though.”

“Yea…wait I could take on anything you could and more.” Naruto said.

“Bet you couldn't.” Maya replied.

“How much?” Naruto asked.

“Hm, how about $2,000,000?” Maya asked in an thinking pose.

“$2-2,000,000? Are you nuts I don't have that much” Naruto with a surprised tone.

“If you're so sure you can than you should be able to bet without having the money.” Maya said with a smirk on her face. Naruto face twitched in concentration as he thought about it.

`It's a trap, I know it is. But I must prove her wrong.' Naruto thought. “You're on” Naruto said.

“Shake on it.” Maya said with her hand out. Naruto quickly took her hand and shook it getting a bad feeling while doing so. `Hook, line, and sinker.' Maya thought with a sinister smirk on her face.

Naruto changed his attention to Aya who was still worried. “Don't worry about it Aya. If a missing nin comes I'll take care of him.” Naruto said puffing his chest out. Aya smiled brightly all her concern disappearing.

“And if he can't I'll protect you” Maya said with a smirk.

“What are you trying to say?” Naruto asked darkly.

“What does it sound like?” Maya replied.

“Don't think you're stronger than me just because you got a lucky hit off me.” Naruto said.

“That wasn't a lucky hit. That was a well played technique.” Maya said in a matter of fact tone.

“Fine I'll give you that. It was a well played technique. But that doesn't mean that it wasn't a lucky hit. If you wore pants you wouldn't have caught me with it.” Naruto said before turning his attention back to Aya. “Anyway, tell me how your training has been going.” She nodded and started talking.

After a few hours and training tips from Naruto, Maya, and Anko the team came across a puddle in the middle of the road. Maya looked down at it with a smirk as Naruto got the image of something completely different. “Dibs” They whispered to each other. Kakashi raised an eyebrow, while Anko smirked.

“I called it.” Naruto said.

“Yeah, after me.” Maya replied.

“We both know the truth. I said it first so I should do it.” Naruto said.

“Why should you get to run head for resonance? All you're going to do is sit on a tree branch and wait for us to come.” Maya growled out as they pass the puddle. Naruto and Maya stopped and turned to each other.

“No I will not. I will do my job and come back that it” Naruto irritated.

“That's what you said before and what did we find? You, leaning against the tree, sleeping.” Maya replied glaring.

“That was one time. And that was only because you were taking so long.” Naruto replied. Maya grabbed on to her hilt as Naruto reached for his. Anko walked to Maya side while Kakashi stopped at Naruto side.

“Come on guys no need for violence.” Kakashi said.

“Yeah at least not now. Wait to we get to his house to fight.” Anko said.

“Fine” Maya and Naruto said before walking forward.

At that moment two bodies rose from the puddle, slowly separating from the water. Garbed in blue and brown shinobi apparel, with some parts a sort of camouflage cloth for blending in with their surroundings. Both had a large metal claw/gauntlet on their left and right hands respectively, and breathing apparatus over their mouths. Their eyes were almost pure white with constricted pupils, hinting at the barely contained madness within. Both wore their own form of forehead protector, a metal plate with some carved wavy lines in the centre, the mark of shinobi from the village of Kirigakure. One's forehead protector had a single spike bolted at its centre above the village mark; the other had two spikes bolted on opposite sides of the metal band. In a split second, one catapulted the other into the air and they encircled Anko and Kakashi with a wicked spiked chain connected between the gauntlets. They pulled it hard shredding both Anko and Kakashi.

“Two down” One said. Maya blinked at them looking at the pieces of their sensei while Naruto gained a smirk as Sakura shrieked and Aya looked on in horror. They both rushed toward Maya only to have there chain locked in place in a tree by a shuriken and kunai thrown by Sasuke. “Damn” The other one said. Their chains separated as they sped off towards Naruto and Maya. Before they got close enough they were hit backward by a foot and a fist. Before they had a chance to recover Naruto and Maya both disappeared and reappeared under the two ninja. The both simultaneous kicked their ninja up into the air. The two ninja grunted in pain as Maya and Naruto jumped up after them spinning while they did so. They ax kicked them in the face sending them to the ground. They landed with a loud thump sending up dust a few seconds before Naruto and Maya landed gracefully.

“So who do you think our new sensei is going to be?” Maya asked smirking.

“Don't know. Maybe someone more capable and hot.” Naruto replied. They stopped as the missing-nin stood back up and dashed towards them. They turned and both got ready only to find that they changed their targets. One went towards Tazuna while the other went towards Aya. Sakura moved quickly to protect Tazuna while Aya quickly ducked under his swipe while spinning. Sasuke appeared in front of Sakura ready to take the attack. Suddenly Maya appeared in front of Sasuke kicking the ninja in his stomach. The ninja doubled over in pain as Aya planted her elbow into the other ones stomach. He also doubled over as Naruto appeared next to him doing a spin while bringing his leg up and around over Aya's head. He caught the ninja in the face with his heel causing him to fly back. He hit a tree hard giving out a grunt of pain before sliding down it unconscious.

Maya brought her leg back and shot off towards the ninja in a blur. The only indication that he was getting hit was the sound of the impact and him jerking with each kick. After a minute Maya stopped with her leg raised like she was going to throw another kick. She stared at him as his breathing apparatus fell to the ground in pieces. He coughed out blood before he too fell to the ground. She placed her foot on the ground and stared at him before looking over to Aya missing the look she got from Sasuke. `She's so strong. She is the best choice for a wife of mine.' He thought. He winced as an object collided with his forehead. He rubbed his head before looking down at the pebble. He looked up towards Naruto who was talking to Aya. He glared hard at him knowing it was him who threw it.

“Good job Aya.” Naruto said patting her head. She smiled happily blushing. They turned quickly hearing clapping.

“Good job everyone.” Kakashi said stepping out of a bush. Sasuke and Aya looked over to where their sensei was supposed to have died and saw cut up logs.

`They used a kawarimi.' Aya thought. Anko ran out from behind him heading towards Naruto. Naruto quickly shielded himself as Anko struck him on the head.

“What was that comment you said before? Huh? Someone hotter then me.” Anko growled as he groaned. She turned to Maya who was chuckling. Before Maya realized it Anko was behind her with her fist raised. Maya stopped chuckling and looked behind her only to get hit on the head. She grabbed her head as Anko pulled her over to Naruto. “After everything I did for you two, you two have the nerve to not care about my death. I'm so angry right now I can't wait to get to wave so I could punish you.” Anko said angrily.

“But we knew you wasn't dead. So caring that you were dead when you are alive wouldn't make much sense, now will it?” Naruto asked rubbing his head.

“Yeah, it's not like we didn't notice you used a kawarimi no jutsu.” Maya added.

“And what adult kunoichi is better looking than you? Huh? That was just nonsense.” Naruto said. Anko looked at them with a calculating looked before bursting out with a huge smile.

“I should have realized you two were just playing around.” Anko said as she patted them on the head. She turned around and begun to walk off. Naruto and Maya held in their smirk as she stopped and turned around. “But don't think you're off the hook.” She said in a sickly sweet voice. Maya growled as she looked at Anko.

“Ol..mmmh.” Maya was cut off by a hand on her mouth and looked at Naruto who shook his head vigorously. He mouthed `don't say it' as Kakashi coughed.

“Now that, that is out of the way we can get on to the important stuff.” He said before glaring at Tazuna. “We need to talk” He said as Anko tied the chuunin to the tree.

“These two are Chuunin level ninjas from the Mist Academy,” Kakashi said, “They're known to keep fighting no matter what.”

Anko held smelling salts to their nose waking them up. They looked at them with a disgusted expression before turning towards Maya and Naruto. “Beaten by two brats.” The first on said.

“How unlucky” The other one said.

“Tell us how you detected us.” The first one said.

“Hn, that is easy.” Naruto started. “I use an chakra radar. Quite simply it allows me to see people and things. So I saw you two right in the puddle.” Naruto said.

“Plus there was a puddle. It has rained for days and it's a sunny day, any academy student could figure it out.” Maya said in a matter of fact tone.

“That is true,” Kakashi admitted as Anko nodded. Tazuna turned to the Jounin with a suspicious glaze.

“Why did you allow those kids to fight when you knew that?” He asked.

“If I was up to it, I could have killed those two in a blink of an eye. However,” Kakashi explained before looking at the older man suspiciously, “Anko and I needed to know who the target for those two was.”

“What do you mean,” Tazuna asked nervously.

“In other words,” Anko spoke seriously as she turned to Tazuna, “Were you being targeted, or was it somebody from our ninja group? Kakashi and the rest of us haven't heard anything about you being targeted by ninjas.”

“Your request was for us to protect you from armed groups like gangs and robbers,” Kakashi added, “This is a mission that's above C-rank. Our job was to support and guard you until you completed the bridge. If ninjas are our enemies-”

“Then it would be an expensive B-rank mission,” Anko finished for him. Kakashi nodded before continuing.

“We're sure you have your reasons however we're bothered if you lie in your request details. This wasn't part of the mission.” Kakashi finished. Tazuna remained quiet after hearing what Kakashi were saying.

“Kakashi-sensei,” Sakura spoke, “This mission is out of our league. We should return with more re-enforcements for this mission.”

“Hm…” Kakashi replied.

“This might be too much.” Sakura said nervously.

“I guess we should.” Kakashi said. “What do you think Anko?” Kakashi asked.

“Well I'm staying. They will have to face more C-ranked missions like this in the future. So they will get more experience.” Anko said. “Besides the brats will berate me if I say to go back.” Anko said.

“Yep, after all that training we went through. No way in hell I'm going back.” Maya said as Naruto nodded.

“I say we go too.” Sasuke said. Kakashi looked at him with his eyebrow raised.

“What do you two say?” Kakashi said looking at Aya and Sakura.

Aya gave a nod with a determined look on her face. `I will show Naruto-kun how strong I am.' She thought. Sakura gave a nervous nod.

“I guess it is decided.” Kakashi said.

“Take Tazuna and your team ahead.” Anko said.

“Sure.” Kakashi said knowing what she was going to do. Aya looked at Naruto and Maya only to get a smile in return. She turned around and walked after her team and Tazuna. After they were out of sight they turned to Anko.

“Now tell me everything.” Anko ordered.

“Go to hell.” They said in unison.

“I was hoping you said that.” Anko said. She turned to Naruto and Maya. “Now I will introduce you to the art of interrogation.” Anko said taking out a kunai with a sadistic smirk on her face.

“Are you sure this is the right time for this? Shouldn't we be protecting Tazuna?” Maya asked.

“Information is the most important thing for a ninja. It can determine whether or not a mission is successful. After this mission I'll introduce you to one of the top specialist in interrogation.” Anko said. “Now pay attention.” She said. “This is how you get the information you want.”

Team 7

“Um…Kakashi-sensei what exactly is she going to do?” Aya asked.

“She's going to interrogate the nin.” Kakashi said.

“Interrogate them?” Sakura asked.

“Yep she sometimes fills in for a interrogation specialist back in Konoha. She is very good at it.” Kakashi said.

“Ahhhhhhh!” A girlish scream ripped through the air. They turned back to see a mass flock of birds fly from the trees.

“See.” Kakashi said. “Lets go.” He said turning around. They started walked only Sakura and Aya flinch as the terror filled screams ripped through the air.

“Hey….Aya.” Sasuke called out as he trailed by her side.

“Hm?” She replied looking at him.

“Um…tell me about Maya.” He whispered with a blush.

“Why would you want to know about her?” Aya asked with suspicious gaze.

“No reason.” He said quickly.

Sakura looked back glaring at Aya. `She's trying to steal Sasuke-kun away from me.' “Cha! Stay away from Sasuke-kun”

“Ahhhhhhh!” Another scream rang out through the air.

“Was that Naruto?” Sakura asked looking back.

A while later

The team and Tazuna found themselves in clearing a little bit away from the road. A moment later, Team 7 turned to see Anko walking into the clearing with a smile on her face.

“Yo. Where's your team?” Kakashi said.

“Oh they're coming.” Anko said with a smirk. She leaned on the tree as she waited. After a few minutes Maya appeared with Naruto's arm around her shoulder as she held him up. Both looked sickly pale.

“Naruto? Maya?” Aya said curiously.

“I-it was…” Naruto started unable to finish the sentence.

“Oh it wasn't that bad.” Anko said.

“Y-you shoved a kunai….” Maya started.

“Please lets not talk about it.” Naruto said in a scared tone.

“Stop acting like bitches.” Anko said waving them off. They both looked at her with a harden glare, both of their faces regaining all their color.

“Did you just call me a bitch?” Naruto asked standing up straight. She looked at them weirdly before smirking.

“Of course I did. Do you have a problem with that?” She asked.

“Yes I do.” Naruto said.

“Then do something about it.” Anko said.

“As you wish.” Naruto said drawing his katana. He was about to charge at her when Maya grabbed him by the collar.

“We can't do it here. It would attract a lot of attention. We'll get her at the house.” Maya whispered the last part. Naruto nodded and put his katana away.

“You are so lucky.” Naruto said.

“Am I now?' Anko said smirking.

“Yep. So what do we do now?” Naruto asked.

“We are going to rest here for tonight and continue in the morning.” Kakashi said. Naruto shrugged and turned his head to the Tazuna.

“Hey old man.” Naruto called. Tazuna flinched slightly and looked at him.

“Y-yes.” He stuttered.

“Exactly who would hire ninja to kill you?” Naruto asked.

“A man named Gatou” Tazuna said.

“You mean Gatou, as in Gatou from Gatou Corporation, the man rumored to be one of the words riches men?” Naruto asked surprise evident in his voice.

“Yes. He has a shipping company in Wave. He has taken over out trade routes and forced us to pay a lot more money to get supplies.” Tazuna said.

“But why would he do that he's one of the richest men in the element countries.” Sakura said.

“Because he also works in the underworld.” Naruto stated. Everyone stared at him weirdly. “He secretly uses drugs and other illegal items, using ninja and gang members to take over businesses and countries.” Naruto said.

“Naruto how exactly do you know that?” Aya asked.

“…I can't really tell you about it now.” Naruto said.

“And why not?” Sasuke asked. Naruto got the image of him and tilted his head.

“Sasuke. Shut up.” Naruto said.

“What did you…ouch!” He said rubbing his forehead. He glared at Naruto as he threw two pebbles in the air and caught them again.

“When I say shut up I mean shut up.” Naruto said with an unusually serious tone. He looked back to Tazuna with a slight frown.

“Hey don't…ow.” Sakura started only to be hit by a pebble.

`I didn't see him throw that pebble.' Sasuke thought.

“What exactly has Gatou done?” Naruto asked.

“About one year ago when he set his eyes on wave country. Through violence and money, he quickly took control of the shipping industry. Gatou now has a monopoly on business traffic in the country. Now the only thing he has to fear is the completion of the bridge.” Tazuna said.

“I see so since your building the bridge you're in the way.” Maya said.

“But I don't understand. If you knew that ninjas could be after you, why didn't you tell us?” Kakashi asked.

“The wave country is super poor. Even the feudal lord has no money. Of course we don't have much money either…not enough for a B-ranked mission. So if you quit the mission…I will definitely be killed. But don't worry about it!!!. If I die my cute 10 year old grandson will just cry for a few days. Oh yeah and my daughter will live sad hating the leaf village forever.” Tazuna said. Everyone face faulted hearing his guilt trip.

“Hehehehe, Nice one old man. But we already said that we would help you. Don't worry Uzumaki Naruto is on the job.” Naruto said happily.

“Like you could do it on your own.” Maya said.

“I could if I tried but I don't want to try. I have you, Aya, and Anko's help.” Naruto said.

`He just totally ignored us.' Sakura thought.

“So those guys back there was chuunin right?” Naruto asked.

“Yes.” Kakashi replied.

`So the next person to come would be a jounin.' Naruto thought. Everyone looked at him as he leaned up against a tree. `I didn't expect this to happen so fast.' Naruto thought.

“Alright we should start setting up camp.” Kakashi said. Everyone nodded expect for Naruto who was still deep in thought. Anko looked at Maya and Naruto with a slight frown.

“Where exactly are you two bags?” Anko asked. Maya dug in her pouch and brought out a scroll.

“I sealed it in this scroll.” Maya said unrolling the scroll. She added chakra to her right hand as she touched the kanji on the scroll. In a puff of smoke her bag appeared.

“And you?” She asked Naruto. Naruto kept silent with a look of concentration on his face and his right hand on his chin. “Naruto.” Anko called. He still didn't reply so she moved over to him. “Naruto!” She yelled into his ear. Again he seemed not to notice. She narrowed her eyes at him not liking being ignored and raised her fist above his head. She quickly brought her fist down only for it to be blocked by his hand.

“Yes.” Naruto said looking up at her.

“I said, where is your stuff?” Anko asked.

“It's in a scroll.” Naruto said letting her hand go.

“So take it out and get ready.” Anko said.

“Alright.” Naruto said. He pulled out is scroll while adding chakra to his hand. He touched the kanji on the scroll and in a puff of smoke Naruto's bag appeared. He grabbed onto it and lowered it to the ground. Naruto began to go through it and suddenly stopped. “I knew I forgot something.” Naruto said.

“What did you forget?” Aya asked as she finished setting up her tent with oddly enough big enough to fit at least four people.

“My tent.” Naruto said Aya blushed as she looked at him.

“Y-you could share mine if you want.” Aya said stuttering a little. Naruto turned to her with a smiled on his face.

“Really?” Naruto asked. She nodded as Naruto disappeared. He reappeared right in front of her and grabbed her in a hug. “Thank you.” Naruto said. Aya smiled as her blushed increased. Maya sighed grabbing her bag and moving over to Aya's tent. She inspected it and nodded.

“You set it up nicely.” Maya said.

“Thanks.” Aya said. She looked at her neck noticing the purple crystal. She narrowed her eyes briefly as Maya looked at her tent. Maya put her bag in the tent and looked back at Aya. She blinked as Aya smiled at her.

`I swore…' Maya thought.

“What happened to your tent?” Naruto asked.

“Aya's is bigger so I just decided to stay in hers.” Maya said shrugging.

“You forgot yours too, didn't you?” Naruto asked. Maya blushed and didn't reply. “I thought so. So now that we're set up, what do we do now?” Naruto asked taking his bag and moving it into her tent.

“How about you go pick up some firewood and some water.” Anko said.

“Sure.” Naruto said. He quickly collected everyone's canteen before grabbed Maya and Aya's hand and dashing off into the woods. Sasuke glared at his spot hard.

`Why is she with a loser like him? She should be with someone like me.' He thought. He didn't have time to think of something else as a pebble hit him upside his forehead. He gritted his teeth as he looked off into the forest.

“Sasuke-kun are you alright?” Sakura asked in a worried tone going over to him.

Naruto stopped once they were far enough away from camp sight. “Alright first, Maya you go get some water.” Naruto said handing her the canteens and pointing to where a steam is.

“Fine” She said walking off.

“So we collect fire wood?” Aya asked.

“I got it covered.” Naruto said. “Kage Bunshin no jutsu.” Naruto said making a seal. Three clones appeared in a puff of smoke. “Mission collect firewood start.” Naruto said as the clones nodded and dashed away. “Now I've got you something. But first I need you to close your eyes and hold your hand out.” Naruto said digging in his pocket.

“Um…alright” Aya said. She closed her eyes holding her hand out. Naruto took out a red case and opened it. He took out the glowing crystal and placed it in her hand.

“Keep your eyes closed.” Naruto said as Aya began to open her eyes. She closed them shut again as Naruto touched the crystal with his index finger. “Alright now channel chakra into it until I say stop.” Naruto said making a one handed seal. She channeled her chakra into the crystal as red chakra surrounded his hand. He channeled it into the crystal as Aya frowned.

`This chakra.' She thought. Naruto got the image of the chakra in the crystal, Aya, and his red chakra mixing together until it stopped glowing all together at a blue color.

“Alright you can stop now.” Naruto said. Aya opened her eyes while she stopped channeling her chakra. She looked at her hand to fine the object Naruto put on her palm missing. She frowned before she noticed something being placed around her neck. She looked down to notice a blue crystal was right against her chest. Aya smile as she looked at the crystal. “It looks nice on you” Naruto said. Aya looks up to see Naruto in front of her with a smile on his face.

“It beautiful.” Aya said.

“I was hoping you would say that.” Naruto said smiling.

“Thank you.” She said smiling.

“You're welcome.” Naruto said. Naruto smirked looking at Aya. “You know we are completely alone right?” Naruto asked with a smirk. Aya looked at him blinking. He moved closer to her and placed his hand on the tree behind her. “We can do anythi….ugh.” Naruto let out as he was hit was a canteen.

“It doesn't take that long to fill up canteens moron.” Maya voice rang out as she appeared in the clearing.

“Maya that was not necessary.” Naruto said rubbing his face. “You act like I was going to molest her while you were so close to us.” Naruto said.

“So you were planning on molesting her.” Maya said narrowing her eyes.

“You have no proof of that!” Naruto shouted pointing his finger at her.

“You…just mentioned it.” Maya said with half lidded eyes. Naruto opened his mouth to respond but closed his mouth. He picked up the canteen that was thrown at him and stood up.

“Hey Aya, Maya how about we do something when we get back.” Naruto said. Maya looked at him weirdly noticing the change of subject.

“Like what?” Aya asked.

“How about we go out and watch a movie or something. Then we could chill at my place... or maybe you place since it's bigger.” Naruto said.

“Sure.” Aya said happily. Naruto looked towards Maya with a smile.

“What do you say?” Naruto asked.

“You already know my answer. But why are you asking? You never did before, you would just appear at our house or something.” Maya asked. Naruto didn't say anything but a huge smile appeared on his face. “What that smile about?” She asked.

“He's just happy.” Aya replied. At that moment his clones appeared each with an armful of wood.

“Alright firewood and filled canteens. Let head back to camp.” Naruto said pumping his fist into the air. Maya blinked at him.

“Okay Naruto your acting weird.” Maya said.

“Am I?” Naruto asked tilting his head to the side. He shrugged and quickly moved behind Maya and Aya. “Let's go.” Naruto said pushing the forward.

“Fine, fine no need to rush.” Maya said looking back at him. She looked at his forehead protector and smirked. `I've got an idea.' She thought.

“What's with the smirk?” Naruto asked.

“Oh nothing. Nothing at all.” Maya said looking forward.

“And you say I'm acting weird.” Naruto said as he clones followed him.

It didn't take them long to reach the camp again. Naruto's clones quickly moved over and placed the firewood in the middle of the clearing in a circle of rocks much to the confusion to Tazuna, Sasuke, and Sakura. “Those clones are real!” She yelled out.

“For someone so smart you sure are stupid.” One of his clones said.

“But what can you expect from a fan girl?” Another one of his clones asked.

“I don't know. How many fan girls do we seriously know?” The last of the clones asked.

“We don't seriously know any. But why would we?” Naruto asked. His clones shrugged as Maya shook her head and Aya giggled. Sakura glared at him with a blush of anger on her face.

“Naruto stop talking to your self.” Maya said.

“Um…If I'm talking to my clone would that really count as me talking to myself?” Naruto asked her. She stared at him with a thoughtful expression.

“Yes. Now dispel them.” Anko said. His clones disappeared a second later in a puff of smoke as Kakashi gave him a calculating look while taking out his book.

`So he can create shadow clones.' He thought. Naruto moved over to Aya's tent and pulled out his bag. He opened it up and pulled out his books. He smiled as he moved out of her tent and sat by a tree. Maya read the title of the book and raised her right eyebrow.

“Why are you reading a book on seals?” Maya asked.

“Because with seals you can practically do anything. With the right seal you could probably remove a woman's bra without them even noticing.” Naruto said smiling like a pervert. Maya hit him upside his head glaring at him. Naruto rubbed his head and looked up at her. “I was just joking.” Naruto said.

“And I have a dragon made of cotton candy.” She said sarcastically. Naruto shook his head and opened his book holding it with his left hand. Naruto lifted the right side of his forehead protector while moving his hand over his eye with only his fingers were touching his face. Maya sat down on his left, a little curious about what was in the book and leaned on his shoulder. She looked at the book and started reading. “What kind of seal are you trying to create anyway?” She asked.

“I'm not really sure on how to explain it. It's really complicated even for me.” Naruto said.

“That's not saying much.” Maya said smiling. Naruto turned his head to her slightly and closed his book. He pulled the forehead protector down and frowned.

“Shut up.” Naruto said.

“Aw is Whiskers mad.” Maya said with a smile as she poked his cheek.

“Whiskers?” Anko asked.

“She calls him that because of his birthmarks.” Aya said slightly glaring at Maya. Maya poked him once again making Naruto mouth twitch. Naruto got the image of her reeling her finger back. She tried to poke him again only for him to lean back a little so her finger would move pass his mouth. He stuck his tongue out licking her finger. She quickly drew her hand back and looked at her finger.

“Ew.” Maya said wiping his saliva on his shirt.

“Every time you poke me I will lick your finger.” Naruto said smirking. She glared hard at him before slapping him upside his head. “Ow.” Naruto let out.

“And every time you do that I'll slap you.” Maya said. Naruto turned to her and smirked. She saw the smirk and glared hard at him. Naruto put his hand on her head ruffling her hair. She blushed in anger as she stared at his hand. She quickly slapped his hand off her head and growled warningly at him. Naruto let out an amused chuckle seeing her expression. Naruto put his book it in his kunai pouch still turn to Maya.

“Mad.” Naruto said teasingly patting her head again. She glared at him hard slapping his hand away.

“Don't do that.” She said darkly. Naruto chuckled taking a notice of Anko who was sitting down with a bag of popcorn and an amused look on her face. Naruto grinned as Maya started to growl again.

“Um Naruto I don't think….” Aya started as Naruto patted Maya's head again.

”What it's only right to return the…” Naruto started as Maya plowed right into him. They rolled on the ground a little before stopping with Maya straddling his waist. She raised her fist up and thrust it toward Naruto. Naruto raised his hand and caught hers before wrapping his free arm around her waist and pulling her on him. He flipped over so he was on top only for her to quickly do the same. They began to roll around the clearing with hands flying.

Sakura looked on slightly annoyed. “Shouldn't somebody stop them?” She asked.

“Cha!! Kick his ass Maya.” Inner Sakura yelled.

“Nope they will tire themselves out. Besides this is free entertainment.” Anko said taking a handful of popcorn and eating it.

“I take it this happens all the time.” Kakashi said lazily.

“At…Meast …twice a day.” She said as she grabbed another handful. Aya started at her two fighting friends with growing annoyance.

“Seems like they are brats to me.” He said. A second later two pebbles hit him upside the head . “Ow” He let out from where he was sitting. He rubbed his head while looking around. Aya shook her head a before going in the tent. She went in her bag and pulled out a gold chain with a mitsu tomoe symbol pendent on the front. The pendant is surrounded by small diamonds. The first tomoe is a golden color with a clear diamond in the middle of the circular part. The second tomoe is a sliver color with a black diamond in the middle of the circular part. The final tomoe is a platinum color with a red diamond in the middle of the circular part of it.

She walked back out side and shifted it a little so that it made a sound. “Wow! That's beautiful.” Sakura said loudly. Suddenly they both stopped with Maya on top with Naruto's forehead protector in her hand with a blush on her face and Naruto with his left hand on her butt and his right arm holding her right hand. Naruto looked at Aya with his cerulean blue eyes and blinked. He noticed what was in her hand and looked back at Maya who also noticed it.

“Aya how did you get that?” Maya asked.

“I stole it from you yesterday.” Aya said glaring at Naruto's hand. `I'll get him after this is over.'

”I see.” Naruto said. He quickly threw Maya off him and dashed for Aya. He only managed to make it in three steps of her before he was hit with a rock hard enough to lift him off his feet. He hit the floor hard and looked up to see Maya near Aya.

“You know it bad to steal from me right?” Maya said taking the chain from Aya.

“You steal from me all the time.” Aya said pouting.

“But that's food.” Maya replied glaring at Naruto who got up with his eyes closed. `Shit I didn't get to see.' She thought.

“Maya I would like to have that back now.” Naruto said with his hand out.

“Why? You never wear it.” Maya replied. She looked at him and smirked. “You're not getting it so you might as well stop trying.”

“Hehehehe I taking it back one way or the other.” Naruto said chuckling darkly walking closer to her.

“Try it.” She said smirking. Naruto jumped up towards her only to be plucked out of the air. He turned to the side and frown getting the image of Anko.

“Anko, get off me now!” Naruto said struggling. Anko looked at him.

`The only time he uses my name is when he's serious.' Anko thought.

“You've got ten seconds.” Naruto said. “Ten.” Naruto said started a set of seals. He wasn't able to finish as a pebble hit him directly on his forehead. Naruto started to shake his head as though confused.

“Moron. Jutsus will give away our position to enemy ninja near by.” Maya said glaring at him. Naruto snarled at her opening his eyes.

“That was not necessary…Give me back my forehead protector.” Naruto said realizing she had his forehead protector.

“Fine but why do you even wear it like that. You eyes are just fine.” Maya said walking over to him. She placed it on his head and tied it behind his head. Naruto blinked and glared at her again. She shrugged not really caring and looked at the pendant. She smiled before placing it in her kunai pouch.

“Now that all of that is over. Lets make something to eat.” Anko said dropping Naruto. Naruto landed on his feet and stood up adjusting his forehead protector on his forehead. He noticed Sasuke's glare and smirked. He looked at Maya and gave her an evil grin.

“I will get that pendant my pretty and your pretty friend too. Kukukukukuku.” Naruto said before laughing evilly. Maya raised an eyebrow confused and Aya blushed as Anko hit him.

“Shut up.” Anko said.

Twenty minutes later

Everyone sat around the fire basically done with their meals. Maya sat in between Aya and Naruto, who was laying down, looking at the pendant with a smile on her face. Sakura looked at her and then at the pendant. “Um…Maya-san that's a nice pendant. Who gave it to you?” Sakura asked. Maya looked up at her with a calm look and looked back at the pendant.

“Actually…It's Naruto's.” Maya said. Everyone blinked and looked at her.

“Then why do you have it?” Anko asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Because Maya-chan doesn't want me to have nice things.” Naruto said grunting.

“If you actually wore it then I would have never taken it.” Maya replied glaring at him.

“I have my reasons for not wearing it yet. Anyway it's getting late we should get to sleep.” Naruto said standing up. “I'm going to sleep.” Naruto said walking towards Aya tent.

“We should set watch times.” Kakashi said. Naruto turned and looked at him.

“Fine, just have Hebi-sensei wake me up when it's my turn.” Naruto said before turning back around and entering the tent.

Naruto sat down panting heavily. His eyes appeared blurry before the blur disappeared and his real eyes were revealed. They are slightly tainted red and his pupils are sharp slits. `Damn, using a genjutsu to cover them for twenty minutes is much harder then I thought.' Naruto thought closing his eyes before moving his forehead protector back over them. `But I have to start getting use to it.' Naruto thought as he opened his bag. He took out a scroll and opened it. He added chakra to the kanji and in a puff of smoke a blue sleeping bag appeared. He threw the scroll away and quickly unrolled his sleeping bag. Naruto laid down on it and tried to relax.

Maya walked in after looking at Naruto. “Hey you okay? You seemed exhausted.” Maya said.

“Yeah I'm fine. The fight earlier took a lot out of me.” Naruto replied.

“With the two demon brothers?” She asked raising an eyebrow. Naruto leaned up and shook his head.

“No, our fight. Sometimes Maya I think you lack common sense.” Naruto said laying back down. Maya narrowed her eyes at Naruto before jumping on him. “Ack!” He let out as she sat on his back and pulled his legs back. “What the hell are you doing?!?” He yelled out as she pulled back hard. “Ow, ow, ow, stop it. That hurts!” Naruto yelled out.

Everyone looked towards Aya's tent hearing his screams of pain. “No, no! Not that position!” Naruto yelled out. “Ahhhh!”

“What the hell?” Anko asked.

“No not my arm! Stop it! I'm sorry alright! Just stop it!” Naruto yelled.

“You're not sorry. You're just saying it to make me stop.” They heard Maya say.

“Of course. This shit….OW! Come on that my bad leg!” Naruto yelled again. Aya sighed and looked at Anko.

“I don't give a shit!” She said.

“Ow, ow, stop it! Listen here…ow…if you don't stop this now I'm going to grope you!” Naruto shouted.

“Ow…Hey I told you…By the way have your breast gotten bigger?” Naruto asked. Aya shook her head and sighed again. Anko looked like she was going to bust out laughing any moment now.

“Um….shouldn't someone stop them?” Sakura asked blushing as Naruto screamed out.

“You can try, but you'll just get pulled into it. If this didn't happen every time he sleeps over I would actually be worried.” Aya said sighing again.

“Every time? Do tell.” Anko said grinning.

“Well at this part Naruto would try something to calm Maya down.” Aya said looking up.

“Look, look. I'm sorry alright. I'll clean your whole house for you while giving you a massage if you stop.” Naruto said.

“Maya would consider it before adding some outrageous thing to the equation.” Aya added.

“Hn….Alright but you have to let me uses Reiki when ever I want and give me 200,000 ryou a week.” Maya said.

“Naruto will now scream out hell no, then Maya will try and hurt him again.” Aya said.

“HELL NO.” Naruto said.

“Then take this.” Maya said.

“AHHHH!” Naruto screams out again.

“Now Naruto will try and escape only getting out of the tent before getting pulled back in.” Aya said. Everyone looked at the tent as Naruto came flying out. He tried to run only for a rope to wrap around his legs causing him to fall on the ground. He turned to them with a scowl.

“Why the hell are you'll just sitting there? She's trying to kill me.” Naruto said.

“Maya pulls him back in.” Aya said.

“Get you ass back in here.” Maya said pulling on the rope. Naruto didn't have time to grab on any thing before being pulled in.

“Now Maya will do something that causes him to lose consciousness or at least that what she thinks.” Aya said. They all turned hearing a cracking noise. It was completely silent for a few moments before they heard Maya's voice.

“Hey Naruto you okay?” Maya asked slightly worried.

“She shakes him, she gets no reaction, she gives a half assed apology, then tells him to stop joking around.” Aya said. They could hear Naruto being shaken before Maya spoke again.

“Look Naruto. I'm sorry but it all your fault. If you wouldn't have grabbed my breast then this wouldn't have happened.” Maya said. After a few seconds they heard him being shaken again. “Naruto stop joking around and wake up.” Maya yelled.

“This is the part where Naruto “wakes” up taking a weak tone telling her he sees a bright light. She tells him to walk away from the light. Then she realizes that he has his forehead protector on. Before she could press him on this he gropes her then she beats him up again.” Aya said.

“Maya….I…I see a bright light. A man…with blonde hair is waving at me.” Naruto said in a weak tone.

“Naruto walk away from the…wait a second….You're wearing…You bastard!” She yelled feeling his hand on her butt. They could hear her hitting him and turned back to Aya.

“What happens next?” Sakura asked almost excitingly.

“I'm not sure. Something happens and they start whispering. Then I would usually go in to find them both sleeping.” Aya said with a calculating look. All of a sudden Naruto painful screams and Maya's yelling stopped. They could faintly here whispering before hearing shuffling. Aya stood up and walked over to her tent followed by Anko and Sakura. They opened the tent to see three sleeping bags opened placed next to each other with pillows on them. Naruto is laying on his back on the one in the middle looking slightly bruised while Maya is laying on her side facing him on his right. They both looked to be sleeping soundlessly. “See?” Aya said.

“So if this happens a lot why don't you try and stop them?” Sakura asked.

“I would just get pulled into it.” Aya said. `And be the one getting groped instead of Maya.' Aya thought glaring slightly.

“Well I guess we should get to sleep now.” Anko said smirking. Aya and Sakura nodded while Anko left the tent. Sakura left after her and Aya walked in. She sat on Naruto's left and stared at him. She touched his bruised cheek and sighed.

“Sometimes I wonder about you two.” Aya said.

“That good.” Naruto said yawning.

“That shows that you care.” Maya said also yawning opening on eye.

“Yeah it does. But why on a mission?” Aya asked.

“Why not? I hate serious stuff. It gets on my nerves. I say have fun where ever you are.” Naruto said stretching his arms out. He managed to get his right arm under Maya's head and smirked.

“I have something to say about that but I'm to….tired to comment on it.” Maya said yawning again. She leaned her head up and removed his arm.

“Then get some sleep. You too, Aya.” Naruto said smiling as he folded his hands behind his head. Aya nodded and got under the blanket. Aya looked at Naruto before smiling.

“Good night Naruto.” Aya said. Naruto turned to her with a smirk.

“Goodnight My adorable Aya-chan.” Naruto said kissing her forehead. Aya blushed just as Naruto got smacked upside the head. Naruto flinched and turned to Maya. “Good night to you to my little Maya-chan.” Naruto said. Maya turned away from him and smirked.

“Goodnight to you too whiskers.” She replied.

“Don't call me that.” Naruto growled.

“Then don't call me little.” Maya said.

“Fine, fine, Maya-chan.” Naruto said happily.

“Idiot.” Maya said smiling.

“Goodnight Maya.” Aya said.

“Goodnight to you too.” Maya said before yawning again. After a few minutes Aya stared at Naruto before shaking him.

“Hn?” Naruto let out turning to her.

“What were you two whispering about?” Aya whispered.

“Well you see…” Naruto started showing her the most mischievous smirk she's even seen. “We said….” Naruto let out. He turned back growling.

“Don't even say what your about to say.” Maya said.

“Hmph. Spoilsport.” Naruto let out. `I'll tell you later.' Naruto mouthed. Aya nodded as he was again slapped on the back of his head.

“No you won't.” Maya said.

“Fine I won't tell her.” Naruto said before mouthing “yes I will”. He was smacked again this time turning over. “Can you stop that?” Naruto asked growling.

“Sure.” Maya said smiling.

The next day

Team 7 and 11 just got off the boat and landed on the wooden walkway. They looked back at the guy on the boat. “This is it for me. Good bye and good luck.” The man said.

“Yeah. Super thanks.” Tazuna replied. He watched the boat man go off and turned to his escorts. “Alright get me home safely.” He said.

“Yeah, yeah.” Kakashi said. `From what Anko told me, the jounin that is coming is known as the demon of the mist. I think I know who that is.' Kakashi thought.

“Maya I think you broke my arm.” Naruto said rubbing his right arm.

“Suck it up it was your fault in the first place.” Maya said. Naruto looked at her and blinked.

“My fault? You are the one who suddenly jumped on me. And I told you I would grope you. So it's actually your fault.” Naruto replied.

“…Naruto you're wrong. First of all if you didn't make that comment then it would never have happened. Next I didn't think you were stupid enough to actually grope me. I thought you would have learned after the first twenty three times.” Maya replied.

“Yeah and I thought chicken could fly.” Naruto said sarcastically.

“Maya-san how can you hang out with a pervert like him?” Sakura asked glaring at him.

“First things first you have a sensei who reads perverted books so don't ask how she could hang out with one. Secondly I'm not a pervert. I just like testing girl's potential.” Naruto said.

“Girl's potential? How exactly does groping them do that?” Anko asked.

“I'm glad you asked. You know when girls get angry they seemed to grow at least four times stronger then they normally are. But when they meet a pervert they grow exceedingly stronger. So when I grope a female it's just to see how strong they get.” Naruto said.

“If that's the case why haven't you groped Aya-chan?” Anko asked. Naruto looked at Aya as she looked at him. Naruto smiled as Aya turned away.

“Oh I have. I could give you an account of every women or girl that I've groped. And trust me Aya and Maya by far hit the hardest.” Naruto said smiling. Maya hit him upside his head and glared.

Naruto smiled at her rubbing his head before suddenly drawing and throwing shuriken towards a bush. Everyone stopped and looked at him

“You idiot! Stop scaring us like that!” Sakura screamed. Maya narrowed her eyes on the spot as Naruto quickly walked over to it. He moved the bush to the side and looked at the snow white rabbit that was scared looking at the shuriken above it's head. Everyone else walked up behind him and looked at the rabbit. “Naruto! Look what you've done?” Sakura almost screamed.

“Aya didn't you have snow rabbit once?” Naruto asked looking towards her.

“Yes.” Aya replied.

“Then isn't there something wrong with it?” Naruto asked. Aya looked at the rabbit before blinking confused.

“Yeah. Its spring so it's fur shouldn't be white but brown. It must have been kept inside” Aya said.

“There seems to be blood on your shuriken yet the rabbit wasn't hit. He was mostly likely used for a body switching jutsu.” Maya said. Anko looked at them with a smirk.

“Nice analyzing skills.” Anko said.

“Thanks.” All three said. Sasuke glared at him hard.

`Show off.' He thought shaking. A man in a tree looked on at them holding the hilt of his sword.

`That fucking brat nipped me with that shuriken.' He thought wiping the blood off his arm. `I see why they failed now. Two jounin and five brats.' He thought.

Kakashi and Anko suddenly looked towards the tree as the branches rustled. “GET DOWN!” They both shouted noticing how Naruto quickly turned. Anko grabbed hold on Tazuna and jumped to the side as Kakashi crouched down. Maya grabbed on to Aya and brought her down, while Sasuke grabbed on to Sakura and ducked. Naruto drew his blade just as the spinning blade passed over Anko's and Tazuna's head. He brought his katana up hitting the blade up. Naruto hands shook as he jumped up after it. Naruto reached to grab the hilt as a man appeared next to with.

`Fuck I miscalculated.' Naruto thought as the man grabbed the hilt with one hand and swung it at him. Naruto brought his katana up and stopped it. Naruto's eyes widened as the he was pushed down and the blade sliced into his left shoulder. Naruto winced in pain as he felt the blade dig deeper. He pushed his blade against the larger blade and was able to push it back enough so it wouldn't cause anymore damage before he was forced downward.

“Naruto!” He heard Aya's shout as he fell. He growled out landing on his feet before jumping back. Naruto stood straight holding his katana in his right hand as blood flowed from his wound. Both Anko and Kakashi looked at him as his body tensed. Just as the man landed Naruto was about to dash forward only to before stopped by two hands. Naruto looked between Anko and Kakashi and growled again.

“Stand down Naruto. This is out of your league.” Kakashi said.

“Yeah brat.” Anko said. Naruto narrowed his eyes before looking at his left shoulder.

“Copy ninja Kakashi the man that copied a 1000 jutsu. What a pleasure.” He said.

“I find no pleasure in this Zabuza Momochi.” Kakashi said reaching for his forehead protector.

“Son of a Bitch.” Naruto growled out taking in his appearance. He wore purple pants with vertical marks running down them along with camouflage ankle and forearm sleeves. He is about 183 cm tall with a muscular build. He has dark brown hair and eyes. He was completely bare-chested and his lower face and neck were covered with bandages to obscure his features. On his chest is a type of leather strap the goes to his back and back to the front where it is buckled neared his neck. His eyes had a cruel glint behind them, his eyebrow less forehead completing the symmetry, and on his head he wore at an angle a forehead protector bearing the mark of Kirigakure no Sato.

Aya quickly moved to Naruto's side checking his wound. Naruto glanced at her before looking forward. “Don't worry about it.” Naruto said before spinning around her and blocking two shuriken with his katana. Maya appeared next to him with her nodachi out.

“Hn, if it isn't Naruto Uzumaki, Maya Natsume, and little Aya Natsume. What a surprise.” Another voice said. Everyone's eyes darted toward towards the forest as a man appeared on a branch. He is about 178 cm tall. He has black spiky hair and brown eyes. He has on a black shirt with short sleeves and black cargo pants. He has on two gauntlets on his arms, a kunai holster and kunai pouch. On his forehead is a forehead protector with a leaf symbol on it and a slash through the middle.

“You.” Maya growled out as Aya began to shake. Naruto noticed this as Anko appeared in front of them.

“Oh! Anko-chan how good to see you again.” He said. Anko narrowed her eyes at him while drawing a kunai.

“I'm surprised that you would show your ugly face again.” Anko said.

“Anko, Anko, Anko. You haven't changed one bit.” He said in a amused tone.

“Enough of this. Hand over the old man and I might let you leave here with your brats.” The Kiri Missing nin said.

“To get to him you must get pass me.” Kakashi said.

“Anko-sensei. Let me take care of….” Naruto started glaring at the konoha missing nin.

“No. I'll do it.” She said all the playfulness out of her voice. Naruto face went up in a snarl as he flexed his left hand testing it.

“Fine then do it fast.” Naruto said.

“Naru-chan I'm your sensei. I order you around.” Anko said chuckling.

“So?” Naruto said raising his eyebrow.

“Haa” Anko let out with a chuckle.

“Team protect surround and protect Tazuna that your teamwork here. And do not interfere.” Kakashi said gripping on it tightly. Both Sakura and Sasuke appeared in front of Tazuna with kunai out. Naruto looked at Aya giving her a smile.

“Aya.” Naruto said snapping her out of her trance. “Go protect Tazuna.” He said looking at her with a smile. She calmed down and nodded before dashing towards her team drawing her katana on the way.

“Orders?” Maya asked glaring darkly at the traitor.

“Protect Tazuna for now.” Anko said. They both nodded and disappeared reappearing in front of team seven each in their Kenjutsu stance.

“It seems like we have to defeat you two first. So be it.” Zabuza said as Kakashi pulled his forehead protector up. “Ah! I already get to see the famous Sharingan. I'm honored.” Zabuza said.

“The Sharingan is a weak doujutsu. You shouldn't feel honored to fight somebody with it.” Naruto said. Kakashi ignored him as Sasuke glared at Naruto.

“Naruto this isn't the time to do this.” Maya said angrily.

“Sorry but I don't like that fucking doujutsu. It disheartens the people who actually work hard to make jutsus. Not only that but you have to be on guard to make sure your jutsus aren't stolen.” Naruto said shrugging.

“Heh. It seems like one of your brats dislikes that Kekkai genkai.” Zabuza said.

“What was your first clue you fucktard.” Naruto said. Maya shook her head with a sigh.

“A wannabe ninja should know when to shut up.” Zabuza said glaring at him.

“Yes I agree. A wannabe ninja should know when to shut up.” Naruto said glaring at him. “And I think it's a good time for you to follow that advice.” Naruto added with a smirk.

Anko shook her head as the konoha missing nin chuckled. “It seems you haven't changed much either Naruto-kun.” He said.

“Shut up bitch or I'll make you master spank you.” Naruto growled while tilting his head toward Zabuza.

“You haven't changed at all.” He growled throwing a kunai at Naruto. Anko smirked letting it pass. Just as it was about to reach Naruto he plucked it out of the air.

“I would rather get money for a present than a kunai.” Naruto said smirking as he put the kunai in his pouch.

`Oh god.' Maya thought resisting the urge to hit him.

“God damn it. Naruto shut up.” Sakura yelled. Naruto looked at her with a glare causing her to almost jump. He turned back and looked at Zabuza.

`If they won't let me fight then I'm going to annoy the hell out of them.' Naruto thought smirking.

“Shall we start?” Zabuza asked before dashing towards the pond faster then most could see. He stood on the surface of the water with on hand up in a seal and one near his mouth. “Nipou: Kirigakure no jutsu.” He said as water began to while around him. Naruto glanced to the side seeing Anko already disappear with the missing nin. Mist started to pour in around them.

“He's gone.” Maya said.

“He's come after me first. Zabuza Momochi….As a member of hidden mist…he was known as an expert in silent killing.” Kakashi stated. “You don't even notice until you're already dead. It's not like I can use the Sharingan perfectly. You guys be careful.” His team nodded as Naruto shifted as if going to turn around. Maya noticed this and eyed him.

“The mist is getting thicker.” Aya said.

“Eight choices” Zabuza's voice rang out from all directions.

“What?” Sakura let out.

“Liver, Lungs, Spine, Clavical vein, Neck, brain, kidneys, heart. Which one should I go after?” His voice rang out again.

Kakashi and Naruto noticed something and Kakashi instantly made a hand seal. Sasuke, Aya, and Sakura started to shake as the killing intent rose. `What and incredible killing intent. It feels like I'll be killed if I make a single move. This could drive a person crazy. The intensity of a jounin… It's feels like my life is being squeezed. I can't take it…I'd almost rather die now and get it over with.' Sasuke thought as he shook.

“Sasuke…” Kakashi said snapping him out of his trance. “I'll protect you guys even if it kills me.” Kakashi said.

`Yeah right.' Naruto thought reducing the weights on his greaves and gauntlets. Maya continued to look at Naruto as he glanced back at Tazuna.

“I don't let my comrades die.” He added causing all three of them to stop shaking.

`We'll see about that.' Zabuza thought.

`Now.' Naruto thought just as Zabuza appeared in between Sasuke, Sakura, and Aya.

“It's…guh” he let out as a blade pierced him. He looked down to see Naruto smirking face. Naruto watched as water flowed from the wound down his blade. Kakashi looked with his eye widen.

`Fast.' Kakashi thought.

Sasuke sat up and looked back not even realizing when he was pushed. He stared eyes widened seeing the two. `Naruto?' He thought before glaring.

`Cool.' Aya thought blushing. At that moment the Zabuza dissipated into water as Zabuza appeared behind Naruto. “Naruto! Behind you.” Aya screamed out. Zabuza swung his huge sword toward Naruto who just smiled. Before his blade could even reach him it was intercepted by another blade. Maya glared at him as she felt herself getting pushed back. She faintly noticed Naruto's hand on the rights side of her waist holding her in place. Zabuza growled but stopped as a kunai pierce his back. Naruto turned just as Zabuza again dissipated into water. Naruto shook his head as Zabuza appeared behind Kakashi swinging his blade. Kakashi didn't even have enough time to look back before the blade cut straight through him, cutting him in half.

“Gyaa!.” Sakura let out. Zabuza saw the blood turn to water and took on a surprised look.

`Mizu Bunshin no jutsu?! No way, I made them in the mist. How could he…?' Zabuza train of thought was cut off as cold steel touched his neck.

“Don't move!!” Kakashi voice said behind him. “It's over.”

“Hn.” Naruto let out narrowing his eyes. Maya blinked looking over the scene.

`It's not over yet.' She thought feeling an approaching chakra signature.

“Haha.” Sakura let out happily.

“…Hehe. Hehe It's over?” He asked catching Kakashi's attention. “You don't get it. There is no way you can defeat me with your monkey like imitations.” Zabuza said. “At that time you had already copied my Mizu Bunshin no jutsu. You had your clones say those words to attract my attention while you hid in the mist and watched me. Nice plan. But…” He said. “I'm also not that easy.” Kakashi eyes widened as his voice came from behind him.

“That ones a fake too?” Sakura let out as the clone in front of Kakashi dispersed into water. Zabuza swung his blade and Kakashi was forced to duck. The blade sailed over his head and embedded into the ground next to Zabuza's side. He switched his hands on the blade and used the momentum from his swing to bring his foot around. Kakashi saw his foot but was unable to move out the away in time. He was kicked in the chest hard forcing his body to leave the ground.

`Now.” Zabuza thought. He was started to run only to stop when he saw makibishi on the ground. He looked up just as Kakashi hit the water and smirked under his bandages. “Foolish” He said jumping up.

`Kakashi sensei got knocked down?' Sakura thought.

`He's strong in taijutsu as well.' Sasuke thought.

`This may be bad.' Aya thought.

Kakashi climbed to the top of the water and frowned behind his mask. `Why is the water this heavy?' Kakashi thought.

“Heh. Fool.” He said making seals. `Suiro no jutsu.' Zabuza thought.

`Damn' Kakashi thought looking back. The water around him then went up around him covering him in a dome.

`You may have been trying to escape to the water but that was a big mistake.' Zabuza thought pushing his hand into the dome quickly. “Hehehe, I now have you in my inescapable special prison.” He said. “It makes things harder if you can't move, you know?” Zabuza added. “Now Kakashi, we can finish things later. First I'll take care of them.” He said making a seal. `Mizu Bunshin no jutsu.' He thought.

`He's stronger than I expected.' Kakashi thought with his Sharingan eye wide. He watched as the water rose and took the shape of Zabuza. The clone walked onto land as Naruto and Maya blinked.

“Maya, what the hell just happened?” Naruto asked looking at her. “Did I not just help him? How in the hell did he get caught?” Naruto asked.

“He probably made an error in judgment.” Maya said calmly.

“Hehe, wearing forehead protectors and acting like real ninjas…But you know what? A real ninja is someone who has survived numerous brushes with death. Basically once you're good enough to be listed in my handbook…” He said making a seal. “..then you can start calling yourself a ninja…You guys should not be referred to as ninjas.” He said before disappearing.

`Fuck.' Naruto thought. He used his grip on Maya to push her to the side a second before Zabuza appeared. Naruto tried to lean back to lessen the blow but wasn't quick enough. He was kicked back blood flowing from his mouth as his forehead protector fell off his head.

“Naruto!” Aya screamed out as Naruto hit the ground and slid back. Maya turned seeing this and blocked with her nodachi as his zanbatou came her way. She flew back from the force behind it but managed to stay on her feet.

“Maya!” Sakura yelled out as she slid next to Naruto. Zabuza stepped on Naruto's forehead protector and glared at him.

“Just a brat.” Zabuza said.

“Guh!!” Kakashi let out seeing it. “YOU GUYS!!! TAKE TAZUNA-SAN AND RUN AWAY!!! YOU HAVE NO CHANCE OF BEATING HIM!!” Kakashi yelled out. “As long as he keeping me in the prison I can't move.” Kakashi said. “The water clone cannot go very far from his body. JUST RUN AWAY NOW!!.” He yelled again.

Naruto sat up wiping the blood off his lip. He stared at he clone with a smirk on his face. He noticed his forehead protector under his foot and growled. Naruto stood up staring at his forehead protector. He stabbed his katana into the ground before dashing forward. “Naruto!!” Maya yelled in surprise.

“NO!!! DON'T” Kakashi yelled.

“He…” Sasuke started.

“NARUTO!!! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!” Sakura yelled out. A second later Naruto flew back into the air.

“Naruto!!” Aya shouted worried. Naruto hit the ground and slid back.

“What are you doing jumping in there all by yourself?!! We are genin we have no chance against him!!” Sakura yelled. She watched as he stood up and dusted himself off. Everyone noticed that his forehead protector was in his hand.

“His kick actually hurt.” Naruto said nonchalantly with a smirk. Everyone face faulted hearing him.

“You went for your forehead protector?” Maya asked in disbelief.

“Of course. This is important. I can't fight him without it.” Naruto said. He tied it back on his forehead and looked at Zabuza. “Now listen closely you eyebrowless freak…” Naruto started walking next to his katana. Zabuza glared at him hard as Naruto gripped the hilt. “The man standing right in front of you is the one who is going to be the strongest in this world. So when you meet the Shinigami, mention my name, will ya.” Naruto said smirking. Both Zabuzas stared at him before they busted out laughing.

“HAHAHAH, you think you will…” The whole speech was interrupted by the clone turning to water.

“No I don't think, I know.” Naruto said smiling.

`He moved so fast.' Sakura thought.

`I…can't believe it.' Sasuke thought glared hard.

`Hehe, Naruto you show off.' Maya thought. Zabuza stared at him before smirking.

`It seems like I'll have to take care of him myself.' He thought making a seal. Another water clone was created in front of him as Maya walked to his side. The water clone moved over to the other side of the dome before planting it's hand through it. Zabuza removed his hands and started walking towards the shore.

“Hey Maya, Aya I have a plan.” Naruto said.

“Fine.” Maya said smirking while Aya nodded.

“Sasuke and Sakura protect Tazuna. Maya, Aya I want you to take care of mister clone over there. I'll take care of him.” Naruto said smiling.

“So you want us to watch you fight him? No.” Maya said with a glare.

“You have a better idea?” Naruto asked looking at her.

“Yeah. You and I will fight him while Team 7 will free Kakashi.” Maya said.

“Eh! I like my plan better.” Naruto said.

“Like I care.” Maya replied. Naruto sighed and looked at the smirking Zabuza.

“Fine. Keep up.” He said.

“A lot of arrogance…but do you have a chance?” He Zabuza asked.

`This is bad.' Kakashi thought. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!! RUN AWAY!!! THIS FIGHT WAS OVER THE MOMENT I WAS CAUGHT!!! OUR DUTY IS TO PROTECT TAZUNA-SAN!!! DID YOU FORGET THAT?” He yelled.

“He does have a point.” Maya said. Naruto looked at her before turning to Tazuna.

“Old man?” Naruto said in a curious tone.

“Well…” He started with his hat hiding his eyes. “I planted this seed myself. I'm not going to now say that I desire to live so much that I'd stop you. So fight as much as you want.” He said.

“There you have your answer.” Naruto said turning back to Zabuza. “Lets rock.” He said.

“Hahaha. You guys will never grow up.” Zabuza said looking down.

“Grow up?” Naruto asked.

“Going to keep “playing ninja”, eh?” He asked. “When I…when I was your age…these hands were already dyed red with blood.” Zabuza said looking at them with a crazy glint in his eyes.

“Devil Zabuza.” Kakashi said glaring at him. Aya, Sasuke, and Sakura all gulped when they heard this.

“Ah so you hear a little about it.” Zabuza said. Naruto sighed a little annoyed.

“Long ago, in the hidden mist village, also called the bloody mist…there was a final obstacle in becoming a ninja.” Everyone was surprise that it was not Kakashi who said this but Naruto.

“Eh! So someone so young knows about that graduation exam.” He said looking at Naruto.

“What exam?” Maya asked looking at Naruto. Zabuza started to laugh as Naruto stared at him.

“Fights to the death between students.” Zabuza said. Everyone but Naruto and Kakashi looked surprised at this.

“Friends who have trained together and eaten at the same table are pitted against each other and go at it…until one of them lost there life. These are friends who had helped each other shared dreams.” Kakashi said.

“…Horrible” Both Aya and Sakura said.

“Hmph. 10 years ago the hidden mist graduation exam….was forced to change. This change came after the previous year…when a so called “devil” appeared.” Naruto said narrowing his eyes as he felt a burning sensation within them.

“Change?” Sakura asked. “What change what did this devil do?” Sakura asked.

“Without pause or hesitation…a young boy who wasn't a ninja killed over a hundred of the students.” Naruto said. At that moment he moved to action. He came and swung his sword at Naruto. Naruto quickly jumped up dodging it and brought his leg around for a kick. Zabuza ducked under it as Maya appeared at his unguarded side. She threw a kick at his face. He managed to roll back just in time to dodge the kick. He stopped in a crouch and stood up as Naruto landed.

“Pretty good.” He said.

“Pretty good? Hn, I'll make you regret those words.” Naruto said. He walked slightly in front of Maya drawing a kunai. He threw it down in back of him and looked back. “I don't want anyone to pass this kunai.” Naruto said.

“Naruto what did I…” Maya started

“Ah! Maya you worry too much. I'll take care of him. Just worry about releasing the idiot.” Naruto said. Maya glared at his look.

“Fine. If I see that you need any help I'm stepping in.” Maya said.

“Alright.” Naruto said.

“Naruto! You can't just fight on your own.” Aya said nearly yelling.

“Come on Aya. Have a little faith.” Naruto said smiling. She blushed a little before nodding.

“You can't be serious! We are genin we can't defeat him.” Sakura said. Naruto waved her off and started walking towards Zabuza. He stepped onto the water and started to walk forward. He stopped a foot away from Zabuza and smirked.

“NARUTO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? YOU CAN'T WIN BY YOURSELF. JUST HURRY UP AND LEAVE!!!” Kakashi yelled out.

“Shut up. You'll ruin my concentration.” Naruto said not taking his eyes off Zabuza. `Lets see. I'm at full strength. My speed is at eighty percent. My chakra is at seventy four percent. Stealth is non existent. No traps. He can overpower me but I can compensate that with chakra. I'm probably just a little slower than him. Hn, Kenjutsu will have to be my strong point for now and hopefully we won't get into a Ninjutsu battle with Kakashi here.' Naruto thought.

“Come on brat. Lets go.” Zabuza said gripping his zanbatou.

“Fine.” Naruto said as he got into his Kenjutsu stance. They both stared at each other waiting. Naruto started off by slowly walking to his right. Zabuza smirked and walked to his left. They circled each other eyeing the other carefully.

“What are they doing?” Sakura asked.

“They are looking for opening.” Aya said. They didn't stop until they were at the same spots they started from. At the moment they both dashed at each other. Naruto narrowed his eyes mid way as Zabuza gripped his zanbatou. Zabuza swung his blade noticing how Naruto seemed to jump a second before he actually swung his sword. Naruto spun in air bringing his left foot around. Zabuza ducked under it only to be kicked upward by Naruto's right foot. Zabuza flipped in air before landing. He shook his head lightly and glared at Naruto.

`I can't take this kid lightly.' Zabuza said.

“Whoa…He actually hit him.” Sakura said surprised.

`That was odd. That could only pull that off if he knew in advance.' Maya thought. Sasuke clutched his fist tightly in anger.

Naruto landed and jumped back gaining some distance. Naruto eyed him with a smirk on his face. Naruto dashed at him again as Zabuza eyed him. Zabuza jumped to the side as Naruto flicked his hand at in the same direction Zabuza jumped in. Four shuriken flew from Naruto hand toward the still airborne Zabuza. Zabuza landed and quickly jumped to his left only getting grazed by one. He shifted his eyes to Naruto only to find him gone. He felt the water shift and looked downward just as Naruto burst upward. Zabuza managed to shift his body just as Naruto raised his katana toward him. Naruto's katana pass Zabuza not hitting him as Naruto shifted his body bringing his left foot around.

Zabuza caught his movement and lifted his arm to block. The moment Naruto foot made contact with his arm Zabuza moved to grab him. Naruto brought his foot back just before Zabuza grabbed him. Zabuza saw the opening and lifted his foot up. Naruto narrowed his eyes lifting his right leg up quickly. Zabuza lashed out with his foot toward Naruto stomach only for Naruto to step on his leg and use it as a springboard to flip back. He landed on the water in a crouch and stared at Zabuza who was glaring. Naruto stood up and grinned before dashed toward him again. Zabuza swung his blade at Naruto as he got into range. When the blade was an inch away from Naruto he planted his hand on the broad side of the zabantou. He used his hand as leverage to lift himself over the huge sword. He landed on the other side smirking at Zabuza. Naruto thrust his elbow toward Zabuza only for him to lift his leg up to block. Naruto growled as both he and Zabuza jumped back. They both landed at the same time a little more than foot away from each other. Zabuza placed his sword back on the strap of his back as Naruto sheathed his blade.

`I didn't think Naruto was this good.' Kakashi thought.

They both stood across each other each with calculating gazes. `He's analyzing me. Fuck.' Naruto thought panting lightly. As if on cue, both Naruto and Zabuza started the exact same hand seals. After they were done both stopped on a single sealed before letting out a shout. “Suiton: Saikuron no jutsu.” Both said at the same time. Zabuza eyes widen as the water rose in front of him spinning in a counter clockwise motion while the water rose in front of Naruto spinning in a clockwise motion. They both collided together sending water onto the land and in the air.

“Gah!” Aya let out as water splashed over the area where they were at. She covered her face as Sakura and Sasuke did the same. Maya put one arm in front of her eyes and smirked.

`Naruto has really gotten good with using that jutsu.' Maya thought. `But did he know Zabuza was going to use it too?' Maya thought with a frown.

Both Naruto and Zabuza dashed forward grabbing their hilts. The water rained down on them as the swung their swords at each other. They clashed sending a clanging sound throughout the area. Zabuza placed his left hand on the dull edge of his zanbatou and pushed down. Naruto did the same but realized quickly that he was going to lose the battle. Naruto narrowed his eyes adding chakra into his arm. He started to push forcing Zabuza's Kubikiri HÅchÅ back. Zabuza growled out before jumping back at the same time as Naruto. `What is going on? The same jutsu, the same time, no hesitation at all, he's even moving the same time as me. He can't be able…'

“To see the future.” Naruto said low with a smirk. Zabuza's eyes widened as he looked at him.

`What did he just say? I couldn't hear him.' Kakashi thought.

`Did he just read my…' Zabuza thought again.

“Mind.” Naruto said again still with a low tone.

“Brat…” Zabuza started angrily.

“Fuck you.” Naruto said louder so everyone could hear.

`He did it again.' Zabuza thought as a vein pulsated on top of his head as he growled. Both of them dashed around in a circle moving in perfect synch with their swords lightly touching the water. Suddenly they both dash forward at each other. Zabuza swung his blade as Naruto did the same. The blades collided but they both continued to spin. The blades collided a few more times before both stopped with their swords locked together. The broke apart quickly before dashing back at each other. When Zabuza reached him he swung his sword horizontally but only cut air. Naruto from his crouching position brought his katana up in a diagonally slash towards Zabuza chest. Zabuza barely dodged it getting slight grazed across his chest.

`Damn brat!' Zabuza thought growling out in frustration as small amounts of blood leaked from his wound. He spun quickly bringing the bud of his hilt towards Naruto. Naruto leaned back dodging the attack aimed at his chin. Zabuza smirked as he swung his blade.

Naruto winced in pain as he felt the blade cut him in a diagonally from his shoulder to his chest. “Naruto!” Aya shouted. Naruto jumped back quickly with a slight frown on his face.

`That did more damage than expected. But it's for the best. Can't come out of a jounin battle without a least one wound. Fuck…This was my favorite kimono top.' Naruto thought as blood stained his kimono top. He glanced at Aya before looking back at Zabuza. Naruto sheathed his katana once again and stared at Zabuza. Zabuza suddenly disappeared from his spot and appeared right behind him.

“Naruto! Behind you!” Sakura shouted.

“Too late.” Zabuza said swing his sword toward him. Zabuza's eyes widened as his blade Naruto disappeared right when his blade was about to hit him. He looked around vigorously and suddenly felt a weight on his zanbatou. He looked at his sword to see Naruto just before getting kicked in his cheek. He flew backward hitting the water before rolling to his feet and sliding across it. He growled a split second before seeing Naruto dash at him. He swung his zanbatou once Naruto was close enough. Naruto dodged his blade as Zabuza used the momentum to spin around. He lashed out with a round house kick that Naruto just ducked under easily.

`Why can't I hit him?' Zabuza thought as he spun around once again to swing his katana at him. Naruto moved forward grabbing his hand with his left hand stopping his spin. He pulled him closer catching Zabuza by surprise. Naruto moved his right arm across his chest and lashed out hitting Zabuza with his elbow. Zabuza flew back hitting the water again. He stood up panting glaring hard at Naruto.

“Wow Naruto is so strong.” Sakura said causing Sasuke to scowl.

`He can't be stronger than me.' Sasuke thought drawing five shuriken.

“Yeah.” Aya said smiling. Maya started at him with a frown.

`Naruto doesn't fight like that…but this is the first time he fought with his eyes open. That can't change his fighting style that much, can it?' Maya thought. Her hers went over to Kakashi who was still in the sphere of water. `How to get him out?' Maya thought.

Zabuza looked at Naruto with a critical stare. `Even though I injured him, he is still able to dodge my attack so perfectly.' Zabuza thought. He watched as Naruto's eyes started to blur before returning to normal. `What…A genjutsu?' He thought. He snapped out of his thoughts as the world went hazy. He instantly brought his hands up in a seal realizing it was a genjutsu. “Kai.” Zabuza said. The world turned back to normal but he didn't have time to think on it as a foot hit his face. He flew back hitting the water just as Naruto jumped up. Zabuza held his face noticing that Naruto appeared above him with his blade position to stab him. Zabuza rolled to the side a second before Naruto katana made contact with the water. Zabuza stood up seeing Naruto kneeling with some of his katana in the water.

Zabuza launched himself at Naruto preparing to finish it. He swung his sword hard at Naruto aiming for his head. Naruto suddenly dropped into the water as the sword almost reached him. He quickly swam behind Zabuza before using his chakra to propel himself out of the water. He positioned his katana at his right side as he popped out of the water. Zabuza heard it and quickly spun around swing his sword. His blade hit Naruto causing his eyes to widen. He brought his hand up and blocked a kicked before jumping back. Naruto landed on the water before dashing back at him. Zabuza swung his sword diagonally as Naruto came in range. Naruto blocked it while adding chakra into his arm. They stayed locked trying to push back against each other. Sasuke saw this and ran toward the water before jumping up. Everyone except Naruto and Zabuza looked at him as he tossed his shuriken at Zabuza. Both Naruto and Zabuza glanced at the shuriken. Zabuza smirked and pressed down hard. Naruto looked at him and growled pushing back.

`I can't escape.' Naruto thought. Maya glared at Sasuke before looking at the shuriken. Aya blinked seeing something hit them.

`What was…Shit they're heading for Naruto.' Aya thought drawing a four kunai. She tossed them at the shuriken in a way to deflect them away from Naruto. Naruto shifted his blade causing Zabuza's zanbatou to slide off his. He step to the side and jumped back as the shuriken came toward him. He raised his blade to cut them when Aya's kunai hit them.

`Shit.' Naruto thought as the shifted position. He swung his blade hitting two of the shuriken that was now headed for his shoulder and the two kunai that was headed for his chest while position his forearm so that the kunai would hit his gauntlet. One kunai and shuriken hit his gauntlet and bounced off it heading for his face. He leaned his head back quickly only getting grazed by one on the left cheek that traced up to his eye missing it by centimeters. The other two shuriken imbedded itself into his left leg and the kunai hit the water. He winced in pain as he landed. Before he could even get a chance to remove the shuriken Zabuza was on him. Zabuza threw a kick connecting with his stomach.

“Naruto!” Aya yelled out.

Naruto winced in pain as some of his ribs crack. He was lifted off the water as Zabuza drew his foot back. Blood flew from his mouth as Zabuza threw a punch for which Naruto somehow managed to block. He brought his katana around hitting Naruto in the face with the hilt. “Guh!” Naruto let out as his head flew back, blood flowing from his mouth. Naruto nearly blacked out as he was sent back onto the water. Naruto hit the water as came next to him with his fist coming down. He hit him in the middle of his chest pushing Naruto into the water.

Naruto coughed up blood feeling his sternum crack as Zabuza grabbed his kimono top and pulled him up out of the water. He pulled him into the air before letting go. He brought his zanbatou down to finish him but stopped suddenly. He glanced to the side before jumping back as Maya came at him with her Nodachi. He landed far enough away from Maya to dodge her blade as she landed near Naruto. Naruto coughed again, blood ran down his jaw as he hit the water. Naruto blinked as he looked up his vision blurry. Once his vision turned to normal he moved to stand on but fell back down. Naruto panted using his hand to lift himself slowly into a sitting position wincing as he did so. He coughed again as he moved into a standing position. “Ah!” He let out holding his ribs and chest. He threw a glare at Sasuke before looking at Zabuza as blood ran down his face. Naruto closed his left eye before trying to wipe the blood away.

“You okay?” Maya asked not taking her eyes off Zabuza.

“I think a few of my ribs and my sternum are cracked but I'll live.” Naruto said. He moved his hand to his leg but stopping as the pain increased. He growled and with a limp walked a few inches behind Maya's left. “I'm going to kill him.” Naruto growled out with a glare.

“Who Zabuza or Sasuke?” Maya asked.

“Both.” He said.

“Heh! Lets see if you can.” Zabuza said started a set of hand seals.

“Aim for his clone.” Maya whispered as both gather chakra into their blades.

“Suiton: Suiryuudan no jutsu.” Zabuza said. Water rose around him creating a dragon that rushed toward Naruto and Maya.

“Sonikku shuuha.” Maya said swinging her nodachi horizontally at the dragon. Naruto quickly turned to the clone while raising his katana.

“Sonikku a-ku” Naruto said through clenched teeth. He swung his sword downward while unleashing his chakra. The water split in front of him signifying his attack. Zabuza's eyes widened as his dragon was sliced in half by Maya's attack. He quickly ducked feeling something fly over his head. He looked to his right to see distorted air moving toward his clone. His clone eyes widen as he pulled his hand from the dome. He was too late as the attack cut through his arm. Kakashi fell into the water as the clone dissipated into water. Zabuza looked back to Naruto who was on one knee panting.

Naruto glanced at Zabuza. `This is bad I used too much chakra in that attack.' Naruto thought.

`He freed Kakashi.' Zabuza thought. He charged at him quickly gripping the hilt of his zanbatou. Both Maya and Naruto saw him coming and gripped their swords hard. Before he could reach them Kakashi appeared in front of them with a kunai out. He slashed at Zabuza only for him to jump back dodging it. Zabuza growled staring at Kakashi.

“We didn't need your help” Naruto said darkly.

“Even so I wanted to. Besides you two did great. I'll take care of him now.” Kakashi said glancing at them.

“I don't…” Naruto started only for Maya to cover his mouth with her hand.

“Alright we'll be over there.” Maya said putting Naruto's arm over her shoulder. “You're in no condition to continue.” Maya whispered in his ear causing him to shiver. Naruto sighed as Maya wrapped her left arm around his back.

“Ah!!” Naruto let out as she suddenly picked him up.

“Sorry.” Maya said. Naruto nodded gritting his teeth together. She jumped to the side as Naruto held his grunt in. She landed and jumped a few more times before she landed on the shore. She helped Naruto walk over to a tree and set him down against the truck. Aya quickly abandoned Tazuna dashing over to Naruto.

“Naruto!” Aya said stopping next to him. Naruto instantly turned to look at her with a smile on his face. She knelt down next with a worried look on her face.

“I'm sorry it was my fault.” Aya said as water swelled in her eyes.

“Aya what are you taking about?” Maya asked.

“If…I would have had better aim…” She trailed off staring at the wound that ran on his cheek. Naruto lifted his left hand before placing it on her head.

“Don't kid yourself. You actually did a good job. You reacted quicker then Maya did.” Naruto said through pants.

“Hey! At least I helped.” Maya said. Naruto chuckled lightly lifted his right hand placing it on her head.

“I know and thanks. I really appreciate your help.” Naruto said. Maya stared at him with half lidded eyes and a blush. Naruto panted as his right eye started to close. Maya saw this and felt his hand leave her head.

“Hey Naruto, stay awake!” She almost yelled.

“Can't.” Naruto mumbled and his head fell forward.

“Shit we have to stop the bleeding.” Maya said. Aya nodded and quickly took out some bandages. Maya quickly took off his kimono top and Aya started to wrap his chest and shoulder. She looked at his leg where the shuriken are and moved toward them. She quickly pulled both of the out and dropped them on the floor. Sakura took a glance at them but stayed in her spot. Sasuke glared at him with a smirk on his face.

`That's what you get for thinking you could take him on.' Sasuke thought. Maya drew bandages and quickly wrapped up his bleeding leg tightly. She drew some more and wrapped his face leaving his right eye visible. Aya just finished as Maya finished with his face. They watched as his bandaged began to get soaked with blood and frowned.

`We need to get him properly treated.' Aya thought.

Kakashi frowned taking a glance at Naruto before looking at Zabuza. “Lets go.” He said. Zabuza glared at Kakashi as he put his blade on his back strap. At that moment both started hand seals at the same time. After a long set they both stopped. “Suiton: Suiryuudan no jutsu!” They both said. The water rose up in front of them forming a dragon that collided with the other. The water around the two dragons was blasted off to the shore on both sides. Maya and Aya quickly grabbed on to Naruto holding him in place as the water crashed into them.

`That many seals in seconds, plus he copied them all perfectly. Naruto is right. I would hate to use any jutsus around him.' Maya thought. The water went up before splashing down. Maya could see both Kakashi and Zabuza in the middle of it Zabuza with his sword locked with Kakashi's kunai.

Suddenly they both jumped back and landed on the water at the same time. `Can he be…' Zabuza thought. The both started running in a circle following the same direction. They suddenly stopped both doing the exact same seal. `My moves he completely….'

“Reading them.” Kakashi said.

`What? Not again.' Zabuza thought. He started at his Sharingan and growled. `Damn!! That…'

“…Freaking eye is pissing me off!! Right?” Kakashi asked.

“Heh! All you're doing is copying me just like that brat.” Zabuza almost yelled.

“You can't beat me you monkey bastard!!!” Kakashi said in the same volume as he filled away the information for later.

“Damn you!!! I'll make is so you can never open that mouth of yours again!!” Zabuza said quickly making seals. His eyes widened as he saw Kakashi doing the same seals. `That…that is me?' He thought seeing a image of himself near Kakashi. `That's not possible…Is this one of his Gen-jutsu?' Zabuza thought. Kakashi finished his seals and glared at Zabuza.

`Suiton: Daibakufu no jutsu.' He thought. Kakashi eye was wide as the tomoe of the Sharingan started to spin around.

“What?! Impossible!” Zabuza shouted. The water rose up in front of Kakashi and spiraled around heading for Zabuza. Zabuza was hit head on by the water. `I'm the one doing the jutsu yet I can't keep up.' Zabuza thought. He thought as he was lifted upward. “Gua!!” He let out. He hit a tree and looked forward. “Gu!!!” He let out as he was hit with four kunai, one in each arm and leg.

“It's over.” Kakashi said appearing on a branch.

“How? Can you see the future?” He asked.

`No.' Naruto thought as he closed his eyes.

“Yeah…I see your death.” Kakashi said. At that moment two long needles pierced his neck. His eyes widen before he fell down. Everyone looked surprised at this and looked up at the trees. They saw a young boy of about 15. He is wearing a green kimono top and a sweater under it. A dark sash is wrapped around is waist holding the kimono top closed. He has on a pair of brown shorts. On his face is a mask with the mist symbol on it. His hair is black and is wrapped in a bun.

“Hehe…you're right. He's dead.” The masked boy said. Kakashi looked at him before looking at Zabuza's body. He disappeared from his spot and reappeared knelt down right next to him. He placed his hand on his neck checking for a pulse. Not finding one he looked toward the masked boy.

`He really is dead.' Kakashi thought.

“Thank you very much. I have been searching for the opportunity to kill Zabuza for a long time.” The boy said.

“That mask…You're a kirigakure hunter nin.” Kakashi said noticing Maya grip her nodachi. He shook his head to her not taking his eyes off him.

“Impressive you are correct.” He said.

“Hunter nin huh?” Maya asked looking at needles in Zabuza's neck. Kakashi looked at her with a curious glance before looking back at him.

“Yes it is my duty to hunt down missing-nins. I'm a member of the hidden mist's hunter nin team.” The hunter nin said.

`From his height and voice he's probably not much older than Aya…Yet he's a hunter nin…He's not a normal kid.' Kakashi thought. He stood up and started to walk back over to his team giving Maya a glance again. At that moment the boy disappeared in a swirl of wind and leaves and appeared next to Zabuza.

“Your battle is over. And now I must dispose of the body. Since it seems to have many secrets.” The boy said picking up the body.

Maya stared at the nin as he made a seal. `A hunter nin is suppose to destroy a body on the spot only taking the head or some item of the person to signify the kill. Plus the needles used can only kill if they hit a vital organ. Mostly needles are used to put in a false death state. If that's the case, he's helping Zabuza.' Maya thought.

“Maya the needles that he used, I saw a few of them hit Sasuke shuriken when he threw them.” Aya whispered into her ear. Maya looked at her and nodded. She glanced at Kakashi quickly before looking at Naruto. `Naruto needs medical attention and I doubt Kakashi could handle another battle. Hn, I could probably take him but I don't want to risk it.' Maya thought. She narrowed her eyes at him and growled. `We'll meet again.' Maya thought.

“Haa.” He let out pulling down his forehead protector. “Now we have to wait for Anko. Then we can get to Tazuna's house to get Naruto treated.” Kakashi said.

“Yeah.” Tazuna said. At that moment Kakashi fell face first onto the ground.

“Sensei!” Sakura and Aya shouted. Maya looked over at him and sighed.

“Haaa, we have an injured genin and an out of commission jounin. Where is Anko-sensei when you need her?” Maya asked grabbing onto Naruto. Just then Anko suddenly landed in front of them with a frown on her face. She looked a little ragged and wore out. She has a few specks of blood on her trench coat. She raised an eyebrow looking at Kakashi and then Naruto.

“Alright, what the hell happened?” She asked.

“I'll tell you on our way to Tazuna house.” Maya said holding him up. She nodded and looked at Kakashi who was getting picked up by Sasuke and Sakura.

“Lets go then.” She said as Aya grabbed on to Naruto other side. Tazuna took the lead and everyone followed.

`What did Zabuza mean when he said Naruto was copying him? Sure he was keeping up with him but copying is going a little too far.' Maya thought. She shook her head before looking at Anko. “Did you get him?” Maya asked.

“Hn…he managed to escape at the last minute.” Anko said with a snarl.

“I see.” Maya said glaring ahead.

“Now start talking. What happened while I was gone?” Anko said.

“Well it happened like this.” Maya started.

A half and hour later

They arrived at the house and met Tsunami, Tazuna's 29 year old daughter, who was quickly ushered them in quickly seeing the state of both Naruto and Kakashi. “What happened to them?” She asked as she lending them into the living room.

“They got hurt protecting me.” Tazuna said with a frown as she set up a futon. They placed Kakashi in it as Maya looked at her.

“Kakashi should be fine with some rest but we need a room where we can check Naruto's wounds?” Maya said shifting her hold on Naruto.

“Alright follow me.” She said. She walked towards the stairs with Maya, Aya, and Anko following her. Once upstairs the walked pass two doors before coming to a third one. Tsunami opened the door and moved went in as they followed. The room had a table, a closet a small dresser, and a window.

“Thank you.” Aya said as Maya let go of him.

“I should be thanking you. You escorted and protected my father here.” Tsunami said as Maya drew her scroll and quickly added opened it. She added chakra to her hand while touching her scroll. In a puff of smoke which surprised Tsunami, her bag appeared. She quickly took her sleeping bag from the top of her bag and set it on the floor. She opened it and stood up. Aya brought Naruto over to the sleeping bag and placed Naruto on it. Aya sighed as Maya looked at Tsunami.

“Excuse me for asking this but do you have some medical supplies?” Maya asked. Tsunami nodded and quickly let the room.

“Aya you should go down stairs and check on Kakashi.” Maya said sitting next to Naruto.

“What? I want to…” Aya started.

“If anything happens I'll call you.” Maya said with a smile.

“But…” Aya started again.

“Don't you want to find out how your sensei is doing?” Maya asked.

“You said all he need was rest.” Aya said with a pout.

“Eh! Well I could be wrong.” Maya said sheepishly. Aya narrowed her eyes on her before nodding.

“You better call me.” Aya said glaring as she stood up.

“I will don't worry.” Maya said. Aya walked out the room as Tsunami walked back in with a case. She placed it down next to Naruto as Maya started to unwrap his bandages.

Alright I had some problems with this chapter. I figured I'll make a mission before this one but I couldn't come up with a good one. I literally wrote five versions to this chapter. Not finding a good first mission, I figured I'll start off with this one. Also I decided to do at least two more missions before the chuunin exams. So if anybody has any good ideas for a second mission please don't hesitate to tell me.

Another thing. I have this sort of idea about taking characters from one anime and putting them in another. I think that the only time a character's personality should stay the same is when they are literally taken out of the anime. Like if Naruto was to somehow get transferred into bleach anime or any other after he died or after a set amount of time. Now in this story's case Maya and Aya was not so much taken and put in it at a certain point but they were born in konoha and grew up in konoha. So their personalities would be affected by who they were around, what they experience, who they interacted with and so on. Now if you were to take some experiences out things would change. For example, if you gave Naruto a caring family and some true friends he mostly would not have turned out like he did in cannon. He would no longer do the things he does for attention because he has some from his family and friend to give him that. Another example, lets say that the Uchiha Massacre didn't happen and Itachi remained the good brother he pretended to be. Sasuke would not be how he is, which is a emo. He mostly would be a normal kid of the Uchiha clan still with his desire to be stronger than Itachi.

Now lets put it in this case where in Tenjou Tenge Maya wasn't so violent and in here she is, this is because of a direct experience with Naruto growing up to her age. Her interactions with Naruto would change certain things about her as well as Naruto. It would be the same with Aya and everyone else. Something's will change and some will stay the same. Like Aya being jealous of Maya you will see a lot of during the story. Why? Because of her and Naruto's relationship. No matter how he acts around Aya she realizes that him and Maya is closer, and they will spend more time together then Naruto and Aya will.

Another thing I think I'm going to do is give Maya a lot of Mokuton jutsu. Not like the first hokage of Yamato where they can actually create wood but hers would be to manipulate wood near her.
